Let ? be a commutative ring with identity and let 𝔄 = Tri(𝒜,?,?) be a triangular algebra consisting of unital algebras 𝒜,? over ? and an (𝒜,?)-bimodule ? which is faithful as a left 𝒜-module as well as a right ?-module. In this paper, we prove that under certain assumptions every nonlinear generalized Lie triple derivation GL:𝔄𝔄 is of the form GL = δ+τ, where δ:𝔄𝔄 is an additive generalized derivation on 𝔄 and τ is a mapping from 𝔄 into its center which annihilates all Lie triple products [[x,y],z].  相似文献

Let 𝒜 be a unital Banach algebra and ? be a unital 𝒜-bimodule. We show that if δ is a linear mapping from 𝒜 into ? satisfying δ(ST)?=?δ(S)T?+Sδ(T) for any S, T?∈?𝒜 with ST?=?W, where W is a left or right separating point of ?, then δ is a Jordan derivation. Also, it is shown that every linear mapping h from 𝒜 into a unital Banach algebra ? which satisfies h(S)h(T)?=?h(ST) for any S,?T?∈?𝒜 with ST?=?W is a Jordan homomorphism if h(W) is a separating point of ?.  相似文献

For a triangular algebra 𝒜 and an automorphism σ of 𝒜, we describe linear maps F,G:𝒜𝒜 satisfying F(x)y+σ(x)G(y) = 0 whenever x,y𝒜 are such that xy = 0. In particular, when 𝒜 is a zero product determined triangular algebra, maps F and G satisfying the above condition are generalized skew derivations of the form F(x) = F(1)x+D(x) and G(x) = σ(x)G(1)+D(x) for all x𝒜, where D:𝒜𝒜 is a skew derivation. When 𝒜 is not zero product determined, we show that there are also nonstandard solutions for maps F and G.  相似文献

Abstract

Nongraded simple Lie algebras appear naturally in mathematical physics. In this paper, a new class of nongraded simple Lie algebras are presented based on the pairs (𝒜, 𝒟) consisting of a commutative associative unital algebra 𝒜 and a finite dimensional commutative derivation subalgebra 𝒟 such that 𝒜 is 𝒟-simple. The isomorphism classes of these nongraded Lie algebras are also determined and the structure space of these algebras is given explicitly.  相似文献

In this paper we develop the theory of generalized triangular matrix representation in an abstract setting. This is accomplished by introducing the concept of a set of left triangulating idempotents. These idempotents determine a generalized triangular matrix representation for an algebra. The existence of a set of left triangulating idempotents does not depend on any specific conditions on the algebras; however, if the algebra satisfies a mild finiteness condition, then such a set can be refined to a “complete” set of left triangulating idempotents in which each “diagonal” subalgebra has no nontrivial generalized triangular matrix representation. We then apply our theory to obtain new results on generalized triangular matrix representations, including extensions of several well known results.  相似文献

Let A be a unital algebra and let M be a unitary A-bimodule. We consider generalized Lie derivations mapping from A to M. Our results are applied to triangular algebras, in particular to nest algebras and (block) upper triangular matrix algebras. We prove that under certain conditions each generalized Lie derivation of a triangular algebra A is the sum of a generalized derivation and a central map which vanishes on all commutators of A.  相似文献

We prove that every generalized Jordan derivation D from a JB?-algebra 𝒜 into itself or into its dual space is automatically continuous. In particular, we establish that every generalized Jordan derivation from a C?-algebra to a Jordan Banach module is continuous. This article studies a simple 4-dimensional ternary algebra 𝒜 which appears analogously to the quaternions from the Lie algebra 𝔰𝔩(2). We describe Novikov-Poisson algebras in which a Novikov algebra is not simple while its corresponding associative commutative derivation algebra is differentially simple. In particular, it is proved that a Novikov algebra is simple over a field of characteristic not 2 iff its associative commutative derivation algebra is differentially simple. The relationship is established between Novikov-Poisson algebras and Jordan superalgebras. Abstract

An algebra 𝒜 has the endomorphism kernel property if every congruence on 𝒜 different from the universal congruence is the kernel of an endomorphism on 𝒜. We first consider this property when 𝒜 is a finite distributive lattice, and show that it holds if and only if 𝒜 is a cartesian product of chains. We then consider the case where 𝒜 is an Ockham algebra, and describe in particular the structure of the finite de Morgan algebras that have this property.  相似文献

We study the functorial properties of Bridgeland’s Hall algebras. Specifically, let 𝒜 and ? be two categories satisfying certain conditions for the definitions of Bridgeland’s Hall algebras, and let F:𝒜? be a fully faithful exact functor, which preserves projectives, then F induces an embedding of algebras from the Bridgeland’s Hall algebra of 𝒜 to the one of ?. In addition, let A be a finite-dimensional algebra over a finite field and B some special quotient algebra of A, then the Bridgeland’s Hall algebra of B is the quotient algebra of the one of A. Moreover, we consider the BGP-reflection functors on the category of 2-cyclic complexes and obtain some homomorphisms of algebras among the subalgebras of Bridgeland’s Hall algebras.  相似文献
