Conditions of regularity in cone metric spaces

In this paper we prove some fixed points results on cone metric spaces for maps satisfying general contractive type conditions. Among other things, we extend some results of Nguyen [11] from metric spaces to cone metric spaces. The example is included.

Fixed and periodic point results in cone metric spaces

Huang and Zhang [L.-G. Haung, X. Zhang, Cone metric spaces and fixed point theorems of contractive mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 332 (2007) 1468–1476] proved some fixed point theorems in cone metric spaces. In this work we prove some fixed point theorems in cone metric spaces, including results which generalize those from Haung and Zhang’s work. Given the fact that, in a cone, one has only a partial ordering, it is doubtful that their Theorem 2.1 can be further generalized. We also show that these maps have no nontrivial periodic points.     

Fixed point theorem on two complete cone metric spaces

Some related fixed points theorems on two complete cone metric spaces are proved. These results generalize some known results in metric spaces.     

Some notes on fixed points of quasi-contraction maps

In this paper, we shall give some results about fixed points of quasi-contraction maps on cone metric spaces. These results generalize some recent results.

Coupled common fixed point theorems for w-compatible mappings in ordered cone metric spaces

We establish coupled coincidence point results for mixed g-monotone mappings under general contractive conditions in partially ordered cone metric spaces over solid cones. We also present results on existence and uniqueness of coupled common fixed points. Our results generalize, extend and unify several well known comparable results in the literature. To illustrate our results and to distinguish them from the earlier ones, we equip the paper with examples.     

Weakly <Emphasis Type="Italic">φ</Emphasis>-pairs and common fixed points in cone metric spaces

In this paper we introduce a weak contractive condition, called weakly φ-pair, for two mappings in the framework of cone metric spaces and we prove a theorem which ensures existence and uniqueness of common fixed points for such mappings. Also we obtain a result on points of coincidence. These results extend and generalize well-known comparable results in the literature. The authors are supported by Università degli Studi di Palermo, R. S. ex 60%.     

On Generalized Algebraic Cone Metric Spaces and Fixed Point Theorems

In this paper, the author first introduces the concept of generalized algebraic cone metric spaces and some elementary results concerning generalized algebraic cone metric spaces. Next, by using these results, some new fixed point theorems on generalized (complete) algebraic cone metric spaces are proved and an example is given. As a consequence, the main results generalize the corresponding results in complete algebraic cone metric spaces and generalized complete metric spaces.     

<Emphasis Type="Italic">ϕ</Emphasis>-pairs and common fixed points in cone metric spaces

Common fixed points of two maps in cone metric spaces

We prove the existence of points of coincidence and common fixed points of a pair of self-mappings satisfying a generalized contractive condition in cone metric spaces. Our results generalize several well-known recent and classical results.      

Fixed point theorems for set-valued contractions

In this paper, we obtain some fixed point theorems for new set-valued contractions in complete metric spaces. Then by using these results and the scalarization method, we present some fixed point theorems for set-valued contractions in complete cone metric spaces without the normality assumption. We also present some examples to support our results.     

Cone metric spaces and fixed point theorems of contractive mappings

In this paper we introduce cone metric spaces, prove some fixed point theorems of contractive mappings on cone metric spaces.     

KKM mappings in metric type spaces

In this work we discuss some recent results about KKM mappings in cone metric spaces. We also discuss the fixed point existence results of multivalued mappings defined on such metric spaces. In particular we show that most of the new results are merely copies of the classical ones and do not necessitate the underlying Banach space nor the associated cone.     

New cone fixed point theorems for nonlinear multivalued maps with their applications

In this paper, we first establish some new types of fixed point theorems for nonlinear multivalued maps in cone metric spaces. From those results, we obtain new fixed point theorems for nonlinear multivalued maps in metric spaces and the generalizations of Mizoguchi–Takahashi’s fixed point theorem and Berinde–Berinde’s fixed point theorem. Some applications to the study of metric fixed point theory are given.     

偏锥b-度量空间中的不动点定理

在偏锥度量空间的基础上,介绍了偏锥b-度量空间的相关概念,提出了偏锥b-度量空间和锥b-度量空间的关系,并给出了一个简单的例子,最后研究了偏锥b-度量空间中在没有正规性的条件下的一些不动点定理,从而推广了巴拿赫压缩原理.     

Dynamic processes and fixed points of set-valued nonlinear contractions in cone metric spaces

Investigations concerning the existence of dynamic processes convergent to fixed points of set-valued nonlinear contractions in cone metric spaces are initiated. The conditions guaranteeing the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of such contractions are established. Our theorems generalize recent results obtained by Huang and Zhang [L.-G. Huang, X. Zhang, Cone metric spaces and fixed point theorems of contractive maps, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 332 (2007) 1467–1475] for cone metric spaces and by Klim and Wardowski [D. Klim, D. Wardowski, Fixed point theorems for set-valued contractions in complete metric spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 334 (1) (2007) 132–139] for metric spaces. The examples and remarks provided show an essential difference between our results and those mentioned above.     

Fixed points of multifunctions on regular cone metric spaces

Each metric space is a regular cone metric space. We shall extend a result about Meir–Keeler type contraction mappings on metric spaces to regular cone metric spaces. Also, we shall give some results about fixed point of weakly uniformly strict p$p$-contraction multifunctions on regular cone metric spaces.
