Ideal ramp schemes and related combinatorial objects

In 1996, Jackson and Martin (Jackson and Martin, 1996) proved that a strong ideal ramp scheme is equivalent to an orthogonal array. However, there was no good characterization of ideal ramp schemes that are not strong. Here we show the equivalence of ideal ramp schemes to a new variant of orthogonal arrays that we term augmented orthogonal arrays. We give some constructions for these new kinds of arrays, and, as a consequence, we also provide parameter situations where ideal ramp schemes exist but strong ideal ramp schemes do not exist.     

The decision of prime and primary ideal

We give more efficient criteria to characterise prime ideal or primary ideal. Further, we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions that an ideal is prime or primary in real field from the Gröbner bases directly.     

Adjoint Ideals and Gorenstein Blowups in Two-dimensional Regular Local Rings

In this article we investigate when a complete ideal in a two-dimensional regular local ring is a multiplier ideal of some ideal with an integral multiplying parameter. In particular, we show that this question is closely connected to the Gorenstein property of the blowup along the ideal.Dedicated to Prof. Kei-ichi Watanabe on the occasion of his 60th birthday.     

Stanley decompositions and polarization

We define nice partitions of the multicomplex associated with a Stanley ideal. As the main result we show that if the monomial ideal I is a CM Stanley ideal, then I ^p is a Stanley ideal as well, where I ^p is the polarization of I.     

Fuzzy dot ideals and fuzzy dot H-ideals of BCH-algebras

The notions of fuzzy dot ideals and fuzzy dot H-ideals in BCH-algebras are introduced, several appropriate examples are provided, and their some properties are investigated. The relations among fuzzy ideal, fuzzy H-ideal, fuzzy dot ideal and fuzzy dot H-ideals in BCH- algebras are discussed, several equivalent depictions of fuzzy dot ideal are obtained. How to deal with the homomorphic image and inverse image of fuzzy dot ideals （fuzzy dot H-ideals） are studied. The relations between a fuzzy dot ideal （fuzzy dot H-ideal） in BCH-algebras and a fuzzy dot ideal （fuzzy dot H-ideal） in the product algebra of BCH-algebras are given.

The Ideal Extension and Congruence Extension Properties for Compact Semigroups

The aim of this paper is to study the congruence extension property and the ideal extension property for compact semigroups. We present a characterization of compact semigroups with the ideal extension property and prove that each compact semigroup with the congruence extension property also has the ideal extension property.

Implicative Ideals and Fuzzy Implicative Ideals of a Distributive Implication Groupoid

We introduce the notions of implicative ideals and fuzzy implicative ideals of a distributive implication groupoid. Some properties of these ideals will be investigated. In particular, the necessary and sufficient conditions for an ideal (fuzzy ideal) to be an implicative ideal (fuzzy implicative ideal) is given. By using the concept of level sets, we will characterize the fuzzy implicative ideals of a distributive implication groupoid. Finally, an extension property for fuzzy implicative ideals is given.     

MDS and self-dual codes over rings

In this paper we give the structure of constacyclic codes over formal power series and chain rings. We also present necessary and sufficient conditions on the existence of MDS codes over principal ideal rings. These results allow for the construction of infinite families of MDS self-dual codes over finite chain rings, formal power series and principal ideal rings. We also define the Reed–Solomon codes over principal ideal rings.     

Polarizations and hook partitions

In this paper, we relate combinatorial conditions for polarizations of powers of the graded maximal ideal with rank conditions on submodules generated by collections of Young tableaux. We apply discrete Morse theory to the hypersimplex resolution introduced by Batzies–Welker to show that the L-complex of Buchsbaum and Eisenbud for powers of the graded maximal ideal is supported on a CW-complex. We then translate the “spanning tree condition” of Almousa–Fløystad–Lohne characterizing polarizations of powers of the graded maximal ideal into a condition about which sets of hook tableaux span a certain Schur module. As an application, we give a complete combinatorial characterization of polarizations of so-called “restricted powers” of the graded maximal ideal.

BCI-代数中的几种理想

BCI－代数中的理想是一个极其重要的概念，本文引入两类不同的理想，即广义结合理想与拟右交错理想，研究了他们与思想，结合理想，P－理想的关系，并用广义结合理想子代数，刻画了广义结合BCI－代数，指明了拟右交错理想与结合理想的不同之处，用拟右交错理想刻画了拟右交错BCI－代数。     

Shifting Operations and Graded Betti Numbers

The behaviour of graded Betti numbers under exterior and symmetric algebraic shifting is studied. It is shown that the extremal Betti numbers are stable under these operations. Moreover, the possible sequences of super extremal Betti numbers for a graded ideal with given Hilbert function are characterized. Finally it is shown that over a field of characteristic 0, the graded Betti numbers of a squarefree monomial ideal are bounded by those of the corresponding squarefree lexsegment ideal.
