两个和K 个分布函数相等的检验在统计领域中,长期以来一直受到关注.为了克服高维空间中数据点的稀疏性,并且对一般情况进行处理,我们提出了几个投影追踪类型的统计量,并得到了这些统计量的极限分布的一些结果.对一些自助法逼近的性质进行了研究.更进一步地,由于计算的原因,对统计量的逼近,我们采用了数论方法,并进行了一些模拟试验  相似文献

Testing equality of covariance matrix has long been an interesting issue in statistics inference, To overcome the sparseness of data points in high-dimensional space and deal with the general cases, the author suggests several projection pursuit type statistics. Some results on the limiting distidbutions of the statistics are obtained. Some properties of bootstrap approximation are investigated. Furthermore, for computational reasons an approximation for the statistics based on number-theoretic roethod is applied. Several simulation experiments are performed.  相似文献

The limiting distributions of the test statistics are derived under the null hypothesis and any fixed alternative. The asymptotic properties of Bootstrap approximation are investigated. While spherical distributions have been used in many statistical models for high-dimensional data analysis, there are few easily implemented statistics for testing spherical symmetry for the underlying distribution of high-dimensional data. Many existing statistics for this purpose were constructed by the theory of empirical processes and turn out to converge slowly to their limiting distributions. Some existing statistics for the same purpose were given in the form of high-dimensional integrals that are not easily evaluated in numerical computation. In this paper, we develop some necessary tests for spherical symmetry based on both univariate and multivariate uniform statistics. These statistics are easily evaluated numerically and have simple limiting distributions. A Monte Carlo study is carried out to demonstrate the performance of the statistics on controlling type I error rates and power.  相似文献

In this paper three methods of the construction of approximations to generalized Poisson distributions are considered: approximation by a normal law, approximation by asymptotic distributions, the so-called Robbins mixtures, and approximation with the help of asymptotic expansions. Uniform and (for the first two methods) nonuniform estimates of the accuracy of the corresponding approximations are given. Summary Information criteria for two-sided uniform ϕ-equivalence, which is a newly introduced strong approximate equivalence of probability distributions, are proposed. The criteria resort to some modified K-L informations defined on suitable approximate main domains and are presented in the form of systems with double inequalities. They present systematic implements to handle many statistical approximation problems and are useful to evaluate related approximation errors quantitatively. Criteria for asymptotic cases are also derived from the presented inequalities. As applications, necessary and sufficient conditions and error evaluations are given for approximate and/or asymptotic equivalences of the probability distributions on sampling with and without replacement from a finite population and on quasi-extreme order statistics from a continuous distribution. We precisely evaluate the upper and lower deviations of the expectation of every order statistic from an i.i.d. sample under arbitrary violations of the independence assumption, measured in scale units generated by various central absolute moments of the parent distribution of a single observation. We also determine the distributions for which the bounds are attained. The proof is based on combining the Moriguti monotone approximation of functions with the Hölder inequality applied for proper integral representations of expected order statistics in the independent and dependent cases. The method allows us to derive analogous bounds for arbitrary linear combinations of order statistics.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the model checking problem for a partial linear model while some responses are missing at random. By imputation and marginal inverse probability weighted methods, two completed data sets are constructed. Based on the two completed data sets, we build two empirical process-based tests for examining the adequacy of partial linearity of the model. The asymptotic distributions of the test statistics under the null hypothesis and local alternative hypotheses are obtained respectively. A re-sampling approach is applied to obtain the approximation to the null distributions of the test statistics. Simulation results show that the proposed tests work well and both proposed methods have better finite sample properties compared with the complete case (CC) analysis which discards all the subjects with missing data.  相似文献

For the Bartlett–Nanda–Pillai statistic, we find computable estimates for accuracy of approximation, i.e., we describe explicitly the dependence on all parameters of the distributions that occur in the inequalities. For the other two classical statistics traditionally used in multivariate analysis of variance, i.e., the likelihood-ratio and Lawley–Hotelling statistics, similar computable estimates were found earlier.  相似文献

Summary It is proved that the martingale term of the empirical distribution function converges weakly to a Gaussian process inD[0, 1]. Some statistics for goodness-of-fit tests based on the martingale term of the empirical distribution function are proposed. Asymptotic distributions of these statistics under the null hypothesis are given. The approximate Bahadur efficiencies of the statistics to the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistic and to the Cramér-von Mises statistic are also calculated. This paper concerns the rate of convergence in the central limit theorem for certain local dependence structures. The main goal of the paper is to obtain estimates of the rate in the multidimensional case. Certain one-dimensional results are also improved by using some more flexible characteristics of dependence. Assuming the summands are bounded, we obtain rates close to those for independent variables. As an application we study the rate of the normal approximation of certain graph related statistics which arise in testing equality of several multivariate distributions  相似文献

Applying projection pursuit (PP) techniques, this paper takes L-statistics as projection indices to construct a class of statistics for multivariate tests. The asymptotic distributions of the test statistics under null hypothesis are derived theoretically.
