Hyponormal Dual Toeplitz Operators on the Orthogonal Complement of the Harmonic Bergman Space

In this paper, we mainly study the hyponormality of dual Toeplitz operators on the orthogonal complement of the harmonic Bergman space. First we show that the dual Toeplitz operator with the bounded symbol is hyponormal if and only if it is normal. Then we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the dual Toeplitz operator ■ with the symbol ■ to be hyponormal. Algebraic properties of dual Toeplitz operators on the orthogonal complement of the Dirichlet space

In this paper we investigate some algebra properties of dual Toeplitz operators on the orthogonal complement of the Dirichlet space in the Sobolev space. We completely characterize commuting dual Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols, and show that a dual Toeplitz operator commutes with a nonconstant analytic dual Toeplitz operator if and only if its symbol is analytic. We also obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions on the harmonic symbols for SφSφψ= Sφψ.

In this paper, we show that a multiplication operator on the Dirichlet space D is unitarily equivalent to Dirichlet shift of multiplicity n ＋ 1 （n ≥ 0） if and only if its symbol is c zn＋1 for some constant c. Weakly k-hyponormal and polynomially hyponormal commuting operator pairs

We introduce the notion of weak k-hyponormality and polynomial hyponormality for commuting operator pairs on a Hilbert space and investigate their relationship with k-hyponormality and subnormality.We provide examples of 2-variable weighted shifts which are weakly 1-hyponormal but not hyponormal.By relating the weak k-hyponormality and k-hyponormality of a commuting operator pair to positivity of restriction of some linear functionals to corresponding cones of functions,we prove that there is an operator pair that is polynomially hyponormal but not 2-hyponormal,generalizing Curto and Putinar’s result(1991,1993)to the two-variable case.     

Sarason's Toeplitz Product Problem on the Fock–Sobolev Space

The Sarason's Toeplitz product problem asks when the Toeplitz product operator Tu T_v,with analytic symbols u and v, is bounded on Hilbert space of analytic functions. In this paper, we deal with this problem on the Fock–Sobolev space and have a complete solution that u = e~q, v = Ce~(-q),where q is a linear complex polynomial and C is a nonzero constant.     

Commuting dual Toeplitz operators on the orthogonal complement of the Dirichlet space

In this paper we characterize commuting dual Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols on the orthogonal complement of the Dirichlet space in the Sobolev space. We also obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for the product of two dual Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols to be a finite rank perturbation of a dual Toeplitz operator.     

TOEPLITZ OPERATORS AND ALGEBRAS ON DIRICHLET SPACES

The automorphism group of the Toeplitz C-algebra,J(C~1),generated by Toeplitz op-erators with C~1-symbols on Dirichlet space D is discussed;the K_0,X_1-groups and the firstcohomology group of J(C~1)are computed.In addition,the author provs that the spectraof Toeplitz operators with C~1-symbols are always connected,and discusses the algebraic prop-erties of Toeplitz operators.In particular,it is proved that there is no nontrivial selfadjointToeplitz operator on D and T_φ~*=T_φ if and only if T_φ is a scalar operator.

In this paper, we investigate the Toeplitz operators with positive measure symbols on the Bergman spaces of bounded multi-connected domains and show that a Toeplitz operator is bounded or compact if and only if the symbol measure is a Carleson or vanishing Carleson measure respectively.

In this paper, we study some algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators with quasihomogeneous symbols on the Dirichlet space of the unit ball Bn. First, we describe commutators of a radial Toeplitz operator and characterize commuting Toeplitz operators with quasihomogeneous symbols. Then we show that finite raak product of such operators only happens in the trivial case. Finally, some necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the product of two quasihomogeneous Toeplitz operators to be a quasihomogeneous Toeplitz operator.

We study algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators acting on the Dirichlet space. We first characterize two harmonic symbols of commuting Toeplitz operators. Also, we give characterizations of the harmonic symbol for which the corresponding Toeplitz operator is self-adjoint or an isometry.

In this paper, we study Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols on the harmonic Dirichlet space, and show that the product of two Toeplitz operators is another Toeplitz operator only if one factor is constant.     

Algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet space

We study some algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet space. We first characterize (semi-)commuting Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols. Next we study the product problem of when product of two Toeplitz operators is another Toeplitz operator. As an application, we show that the zero product of two Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbol has only a trivial solution. Also, the corresponding compact product problem is studied.     

Commuting Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet space

In this paper, we study the commutativity of Toeplitz operators with continuous symbols on the Dirichlet space. First, under a mild condition concerning absolute continuity we characterize (semi-)commuting Toeplitz operators. This is a generalization of the case of harmonic symbols. Also, if one of the symbol is radial or analytic, we get another characterization, which is different from the case on the Bergman space.

Positivity of Toeplitz operators on harmonic Bergman space

In this paper, we study positive Toeplitz operators on the harmonic Bergman space via their Berezin transforms. We consider the Toeplitz operators with continuous harmonic symbols on the closed disk and show that the Toeplitz operator is positive if and only if its Berezin transform is nonnegative on the disk. On the other hand, we construct a function such that the Toeplitz operator with this function as the symbol is not positive but its Berezin transform is positive on the disk. We also consider the harmonic Bergman space on the upper half plane and prove that in this case the positive Toeplitz operators with continuous integrable harmonic symbols must be the zero operator.
