E is said to be dinned over Q if the coefficients ai, i = 1,2,3,4,6 are rationals and O is defined over Q.Let E/Q be an elliptic curve and let E(Q)tors be the torsion group of points of E denned over Q. The theorem of Mazur asserts that E(Q)tors is one of the following 15 groupsE(Q)tors　Z/mZ, m = 1,2,..., 10,12,Z/2Z × Z/2mZ, m = 1,2,3,4.We say that an elliptic curve E'/Q is isogenous to the elliptic curve E if there is an isogeny, i.e. a morphism : E E' such that (O) = O, where O is the point at infinity.We give an explicit model of all elliptic curves for which E(Q)tors is in the form Z/mZ where m= 9,10,12 or Z/2Z × Z/2mZ where m = 4, according to Mazur's theorem. Self-dual codes over \mathbb{Z}_8 and \mathbb{Z}_9

We study self-dual codes over the rings and . We define various weights and weight enumerators over these rings and describe the groups of invariants for each weight enumerator over the rings. We examine the torsion codes over these rings to describe the structure of self-dual codes. Finally we classify self-dual codes of small lengths over .     

Non-Negative Integer Matrix Representations of a $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-Ring

The $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-ring is an important invariant in the theory of tensor category. In this paper, by using matrix method, we describe all irreducible $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-modules over a $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-ring $\mathcal{A}$, where $\mathcal{A}$ is a commutative ring with a $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-basis{$1$, $x$, $y$, $xy$} and relations: $$ x^{2}=1,\;\;\;\;\; y^{2}=1+x+xy.$$We prove that when the rank of $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-module $n\geq5$, there does not exist irreducible $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-modules and when the rank $n\leq4$, there exists finite inequivalent irreducible $\mathbb{Z}_{+}$-modules, the number of which is respectively 1, 3, 3, 2 when the rank runs from 1 to 4.

Let Γ be an arithmetic lattice in an absolutely simple Lie group G with trivial centre. We prove that there exists an integer N ≥ 2, a subgroup Λ of finite index in Γ, and an action of Λ on such that the pair ( ) has property (T). If G has property (T), then so does . If G is the adjoint group of Sp(n, 1), then is a property (T) group satisfying the Baum–Connes conjecture. If Γ is an arithmetic lattice in SO(n, 1), then the associated von Neumann algebra is a II₁-factor in Popa’s class . Type II Self-Dual Codes over Finite Rings and Even Unimodular Lattices

In this paper, we investigate self-dual codes over finite rings, specifically the ring of integers modulo 2m. Type II codes over are introduced as self-dual codes with Euclidean weights which are a multiple of 2m +1. We describe a relationship between Type II codes and even unimodular lattices. This relationship provides much information on Type II codes. Double circulant Type II codes over are also studied.

The integral monodromy of hyperelliptic and trielliptic curves

We compute the and monodromy of every irreducible component of the moduli spaces of hyperelliptic and trielliptic curves. In particular, we provide a proof that the monodromy of the moduli space of hyperelliptic curves of genus g is the symplectic group . Paley type partial difference sets in non <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-groups

By modifying a construction for Hadamard (Menon) difference sets we construct two infinite families of negative Latin square type partial difference sets in groups of the form where p is any odd prime. One of these families has the well-known Paley parameters, which had previously only been constructed in p-groups. This provides new constructions of Hadamard matrices and implies the existence of many new strongly regular graphs including some that are conference graphs. As a corollary, we are able to construct Paley–Hadamard difference sets of the Stanton-Sprott family in groups of the form when is a prime power. These are new parameters for such difference sets.      

Exponential Dichotomy on the Real Line and Admissibility of Function Spaces

The purpose of this paper is to give characterizations for uniform exponential dichotomy of evolution families on the real line. We consider a general class of Banach function spaces denoted and we prove that if with and the pair is admissible for an evolution family then is uniformly exponentially dichotomic. By an example we show that the admissibility of the pair for an evolution family is not a sufficient condition for uniform exponential dichotomy.
