Thin film properties, such as surface morphology, internal stress and surface energy, of hexagonal boron nitride/copper mixtures, produced by a magnetron co-sputtering deposition technique, were investigated. Techniques included scanning electron microscopy, film deflection and contact angle measurements. It was possible to fabricate nano-scale islands on the surface of the film and to control the size of the islands by adjusting the sputter discharge conditions. The internal stress and surface energy can be significantly modified depending on these conditions indicating that they are dependent variables. This technique of co-sputtering deposition is a promising candidate for the control of nano-structures on a surface and for controlling internal stress and surface energy.  相似文献

The relationship between microscopic parameters and polymer charging caused by defocused electron beam irradiation is investigated using a dynamic scattering-transport model. The dynamic charging process of an irradiated polymer using a defocused 30 keV electron beam is conducted. In this study, the space charge distribution with a 30 keV non-penetrating e-beam is negative and supported by some existing experimental data. The internal potential is negative, but relatively high near the surface, and it decreases to a maximum negative value at z = 6 μm and finally tend to 0 at the bottom of film. The leakage current and the surface potential behave similarly, and the secondary electron and leakage currents follow the charging equilibrium condition. The surface potential decreases with increasing beam current density, trap concentration, capture cross section, film thickness and electron–hole recombination rate, but with decreasing electron mobility and electron energy. The total charge density increases with increasing beam current density, trap concentration, capture cross section, film thickness and electron–hole recombination rate, but with decreasing electron mobility and electron energy. This study shows a comprehensive analysis of microscopic factors of surface charging characteristics in an electron-based surface microscopy and analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, the effect of annealing temperature on optical constants was studied. The ZnO films were deposited on microscopic glass substrates using the sol-gel method for various annealing temperatures. The deposited zinc oxide (ZnO) films were characterized by an X-ray diffractometer (XRD), a spectrophotometer and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The transmittance spectra recorded through the spectrophotometer exhibits 90% transmittance. The XRD spectra showed polycrystalline nature of ZnO film. Optical constants were determined through transmittance spectra using an envelope method. It was found that there was a significant effect of annealing temperature on the refractive index and extinction coefficient of deposited ZnO films. In this experiment, the optimum refractive index value of 1.97 was obtained at 350 °C annealing temperature at visible (vis) wavelength. The optical energy gap was found to be of ∼3.2 eV for all the samples. The top view of SEM showed the ZnO grain growth on the glass substrates.  相似文献

Nanostructured manganese dioxide films were obtained by galvanostatic, pulse and reverse pulse electrodeposition from 0.01 to 0.1 M KMnO4 solutions. The deposition yield was investigated by in situ monitoring the deposit mass using a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). Obtained films were studied by electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, energy dispersive spectroscopy, thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis. The QCM and electron microscopy data were utilized for the investigation of deposition kinetics and film formation mechanism. It was shown that the deposition rate and film microstructure could be changed by variation of deposition conditions. The method allowed the fabrication of dense or porous films. The thickness of dense films was limited to ∼0.1 μm due to the insulating properties of manganese dioxide and film cracking, attributed to drying shrinkage. Porous and crack-free 1-2 μm films were obtained using galvanostatic or reverse pulse deposition from 0.02 M KMnO4 solutions. It was shown that film porosity is beneficial for the charge transfer during deposition and crack prevention in thick films. Moreover, porous nanostructured films showed good capacitive behavior for applications in electrochemical supercapacitors. The porous nanostructured films prepared in the reverse pulse regime showed higher specific capacitance (SC) compared to the SC of the galvanostatic films. The highest SC of 279 F/g in a voltage window of 1 V was obtained in 0.1 M Na2SO4 solutions at a scan rate of 2 mV/s.  相似文献

研究了超短超强激光脉冲与薄膜靶相互作用中产生的电子热发射.当超短激光脉冲与薄膜靶相互作用时,首先入射超短脉冲激光对吸收深度内的自由电子进行热激发,接下来热激发电子将能量传递到附近的晶格,再通过电子和晶格二体系的热传导,以及电子晶格间的热耦合,将能量传递到材料的内部.因此,电子在皮秒级甚至更短的时间内不能与晶格进行能量耦合,使电子温度超出晶格温度很多,电子热发射就变得非常明显了.用双温方程联合Richardson-Dushman方程的方法对飞秒脉冲激光照射金属靶的电子热发射进行了研究,结果发现电子热发射对飞  相似文献

The laser-induced damage characteristics and adsorption effects of organic contamination molecules of two high reflectors (HR) prepared by electron beam evaporation (EB) and ion beam sputtering (IBS) method at 1064 nm is investigated in vacuum. It is found that EB films show the performance degradation of laser induced damages in vacuum while for IBS film, seems to have no this effect, in comparison with air environment. In addition, EB coatings also have the strong affinity with organic contamination molecules, in contrast of IBS films. The results reveal that ion beam sputtering (IBS) method seem to be one of the favorite film deposition techniques of the optical films used in vacuum and space environments.  相似文献

The Fermi energy, cyclotron energy and cyclotron effective mass of degenerate electron gas in a sizeoquantized semiconductor thin film with non-parabolic energy bands are studied. The influences of quantizing magnetic field on these quantities in two-band approximation of the Kane model are investigated. It is shown that the Fermi energy oscillates in a magnetic field. The period and positions of these oscillations are found as a function of film thickness and concentration of electrons. Cyclotron energy and cyclotron effective mass are investigated as a function of film thickness in detail The results obtained here are compared with experimental data on GaAs quantum wells.  相似文献

In this paper, damage mechanism and morphology characteristics of chromium film in femtosecond laser rear-side ablation are investigated. The film removing process includes two key sub-processes: the laser ablation dynamic process and subsequent breaking and ejecting dynamic process. Film morphology in rear-side ablation is determined by the interrelation between the laser energy and the film strength. When lower laser energy is used, residual out-layer film is relative thick and tends to break into some large fragments, which results in an irregular ablation shape. While when higher pulse energy is used, thinner residual film with weaker break strength breaks into small fragments, the ablation quality improves correspondingly. Besides laser energy and film property, energy distribution of laser beam also affects the ablation quality. In experiments, this kind of effect is researched by changing the focal position. It is found that ripples, which are familiar nano-structures in front-side ablation, also exist in rear-side ablation. These ripples are formed initially at the interface between quartz substrate and film, and their coverage varies with the energy distribution. Additionally, increasing number of scans is an effective method to shorten the period of ripples.  相似文献

为充分了解用于金刚石放大光阴极电子枪中的金刚石薄膜对初级电子束流强的放大特性及与其他因素的关系,利用VSIM软件的PIC模块对金刚石放大电子束流强的物理特性进行了数值模拟,结果给出了电子束流强的最大放大倍数与初级电子束能量、金刚石薄膜内部场强及金刚石薄膜厚度等因素的定量关系。模拟结果显示,选择合适的初级电子束能量和金刚石薄膜内部场强,电子束流强的最大放大倍数可以达到两个数量级。  相似文献

为揭示低能电子束照射接地绝缘薄膜的负带电过程及其机理,建立了同时考虑电子散射与电子输运的计算模型,综合Monte Carlo方法和有限差分法进行了数值模拟,获得了内部空间电荷、泄漏电流和表面电位随电子束照射的演化规律.结果表明,入射电子因迁移、扩散效应会超越通常的散射区域产生负空间电荷分布,并经过一定的渡越时间后到达接地基板,形成泄漏电流,负带电暂态过程则随着泄漏电流的增加而趋于平衡.在平衡状态下,泄漏电流随电子束能量和电流而增大;薄膜净负电荷量和表面电位随膜厚而增加、随电子迁移率的增大而降低,随着电子束 关键词: 绝缘薄膜 电子束照射 带电效应 数值模拟  相似文献

A nano TiO2 film was coated on AZ31 alloy substrate by sol-gel method. The TiO2 film was characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry-thermogravimetric analysis (DSC-TG), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS). The degradation of the nano-TiO2 coated alloy was evaluated by immersion test and electrochemical measurement. An attempt was made to relate corrosion of coated alloys with the annealing treatment and resultant structural evolution.  相似文献

Hafnium films were deposited onto the molybdenum grids by radio-frequency magnetron sputtering from an Hf target in argon gas. Emission current of Mo grids coated with and without Hf film during the lifetime testing, which were contaminated by active electron-emission substances (i.e. Ba or BaO) from the cathode, were measured using an analogous-diode method. The results show that emission current from the Mo grid coated with Hf film is much less than that from the Mo grid without Hf film. The BaO layer was deposited on Hf/Mo substrates by chemical method in order to simulate the working conditions of the grids contaminated by electron-emission substances from the cathode. The suppression mechanism of electron emission from the Mo grid coated with Hf film is discussed according to the experimental results and the calculation of the reaction free energy.  相似文献

A simple method for synthesis of well dispersed cadmium sulphide nanoparticles embedded in a polyethylene glycol matrix (PEG 400) in thin film form is presented. The large blue shift of the band gap energy of the CdS nanoparticles compared to the bulk semiconductors is observed via UV-vis absorption spectra. Photoluminescence spectra of CdS nanocomposite films show that the emission peaks shift towards the longer wavelength with the increase of annealing temperature. Transmission electron microscopic images as well as Raman scattering studies confirm the CdS nanometer size particle formation within the polymer matrix. The particle size is about 8 nm. Selected area electron diffraction (SAED) shows the cubic zinc blende polycrystalline rings. Third-order optical nonlinearity of the CdS nanopartieles embedded in polymer thin films is studied with the Z-scan technique under 1064 nm excitation. The results show that the CdS nanocomposite film exhibits negative nonlinear refraction index and positive absorption coefficient. The film shows large optical nonlinearity, and the magnitude of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility of the film is calculated to be 1.73 × 10^-9 esu. The corresponding mechanism is discussed.  相似文献

The deposition of decomposed ethylene on silicon wafer at lower temperature using hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) method was applied to compose thin film of carbon and its compounds with silicon and hydrocarbon structures. The films were analyzed using Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy with elemental microanalysis by energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer. The structure and morphology of the early stage of the film deposition was analyzed. The obtaining of SiC as well as diamond-like structure with this method and catalytic influence of chemical admixtures on the film structure and properties are discussed.  相似文献

Using spin density functional theory within the framework of the local spin density approximation with Perdew-Zunger type exchange-correlation energy, ferromagnetism in a quasi-two-dimensional electron gas (Q-2DEG) is studied. The electronic and magnetic structures of a thin film are calculated as a function of film thickness and electron density. Ferromagnetism in the Q-2DEG is found to appear at a higher electron density than in the three-dimensional electron gas. Unless a film is very thin, with decreasing electron density, a magnetic phase transition occurs from a spin-unpolarized fluid to a Wigner film with surface magnetism, in which the spin polarization localizes only in the neighborhood of surfaces. Further decreasing density induces another transition to a fully spin-polarized ferromagnetic Wigner film.  相似文献

The problem of determining the high-frequency electrical conductivity and Hall constant for a thin metal film placed in a transverse stationary magnetic field and in a longitudinal alternating electric field is solved by the kinetic method. The relation between the film thickness and electron free path length is supposed to be arbitrary. The skin effect is not taken into account. The diffuse-specular mechanism of electron reflection from the film boundaries is considered with similar specular-reflection coefficients for the upper and lower surfaces of the film taken into account. The electrical conductivity and Hall constant are studied as functions of dimensionless parameters: electric-field frequency, magnetic-field induction, and film thickness.  相似文献

Antidots of size 0.5 μm are prepared by patterning iron-nickel films with a focused ion beam. The magnetization distribution in antidot arrays is examined with Lorentz transmission electron microscopy. It is shown that one side of the array makes an angle of about 20° with the easy magnetic axis of the film. Magnetization reversal in the direction close to the easy magnetic axis starts with domain nucleation at the antidot edges that are perpendicular to the applied field and adjacent to the unpatterned region of the film, and propagates as the domain walls move. Magnetization reversal in the direction close to the hard magnetic axis starts with magnetization rotation outside the patterned region at the antidot edges and propagates as the domain walls execute a complicated motion. It is demonstrated that some areas between the edges of adjacent antidots can carry information bits. Results obtained are explained in terms of competition between the demagnetizing energy, energy of internal anisotropy, and misorientation effect. The feasibility of such structures as high-density storage elements is discussed.  相似文献

Low energy ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD) was employed to prepare Ag films on Mo/Si (100) substrate. It was found that Ag films deposited by sputtering method without ion beam bombardment were preferred (111) orientation. When the depositing film was simultaneously bombardment by Ar+ beam perpendicular to the film surface at ion/atom arrival ratio of 0.18, the prepared films exhibited weak (111) and (200) mixed orientations. When the direction of Ar+ beam was off-normal direction of the film surface, Ag films showed highly preferred (111) orientation. Monte Carlo method was used to calculate the sputtering yields of Ar+ ions at various incident and azimuth angles. The effects of channeling and surface free energy on the crystallographic orientation of Ag films were discussed.  相似文献

In this study, plasma polymerized 2, 6-diethylaniline (PPDEA) thin films of different thicknesses were synthesized using a glow discharge plasma polymerization method. Scanning electron microscopy showed that the surface morphology of an as-deposited PPDEA thin film was comparatively smooth after iodine doping. The iodine-doped PPDEA was found to be thermally stable up to ca about 560 K, which was slightly lower than that observed for as-deposited PPDEA. Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopic analyses demonstrated that iodine doping resulted in a significant decrease in the optical energy gap. As the doping period increased, the direct optical transition energy gap was reduced from 3.56 to 2.79 eV and the indirect optical transition energy gap was decreased from 2.23 to 1.97 eV. Thus it is observed that, the optical parameters of as-deposited PPDEA thin films with different thicknesses can be modified with different iodine doping periods.  相似文献
