We have studied the proteins of the pollen and ovules of the cotton plant. No differences were observed in the electrophoregrams of the proteins from Gossypium hirsutum L. and from G. barbadense L. In the spectrum of the pollen proteins, the main components quantitatively were polypeptides with molecular masses of 34, 44, 47, and 52 kDa. The species G. raimondii Ulbr. differed considerably, with the main polypeptides quantitatively having molecular masses of 27, 36, 46, and 58 kDa. In representatives of genomic group C, interspecies differences were observed in the protein spectra of the pollen. The alkaloid compositions of the roots, young shoots, and leaves of Berberis sibirica have been studied, and berberine, palmatine, columbamine, berberrubine, oxyacanthine, berbamine, 8-oxoberberine, 8-oxoberrberubine, pakistanine, and pronunciferine, and also the new base N-acetylhomoveratrylamine have been isolated. This is the first time that any of these alkaloids, except berberine, have been isolated from this plant. Andizhan State Medical Institute. The results are given of a study of the quantitative content of protein in the seeds of some pea varieties and mutants, the activity of the total inhibitor proteins, and correlations of their activity with the protein content of the seeds and the amino acid compositions of the proteinase inhibitors. We report the temperature, pH, glucose concentration, NaCl concentration, and operating atmosphere dependence of the power output of a compartment-less miniature glucose-O(2) biofuel cell, comprised only of two bioelectrocatalyst-coated carbon fibers, each of 7 micro m diameter and 2 cm length (Mano, N.; Mao, F.; Heller, A. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2002, 124, 12962). The bioelectrocatalyst of the anode consists of glucose oxidase from Aspergillus niger electrically "wired" by polymer I, having a redox potential of -0.19 V vs Ag/AgCl. That of the cathode consists of bilirubin oxidase from Trachyderma tsunodae "wired" by polymer II having a redox potential of +0.36 V vs Ag/AgCl (Mano, N.; Kim, H.-H.; Zhang, Y.; Heller, A. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2002, 124, 6480. Mano, N.; Kim, H.-H.; Heller, A. J. Phys. Chem. B 2002, 106, 8842). By mass-spectrometric methods, cholesterol and docosanoic, heneicosanoic, cicosanoic, octadecanoic, cis-octadec-9-enoic, heptadecanoic, hexadecanoic, and pentadecanoic acids have been identified in the odoriferous secretion of the pre-anal glands of the females and males of the common adder and the saw-scaled viper and in those of females of the common mamushi. Adsorption capacity of ACFF in cyanide leaching liquor of gold ores was studied withcyanide leaching liquor of gold ores, containing various kinds of ions. The adsorbed leaching liquorwas analyzed by atomic emission spectroscopy and colorimetric method. The contents of variouskinds of ions in ACFF were determined with X-ray photoctron spectroscopy. ACFF not onlyadsorbed gold but also adsorbed arsenic, nickel, zinc, calcium, sulphur, bismuth, copper, iron. silverand cyanide anion. Investigations of microwave assisted drying of sample materials and microwave assisted evaporation of aqueous sample solutions and acidic digestion residues were accomplished by means of special rotors for the microwave digestion system MULTIWAVE. To check the results obtained by microwave assisted drying, the samples were also conventionally dried at 105 degrees C in an oven. The following samples have been dried: 10 g each of meat, fish, apple, cucumber, potato, mustard, yogurt, clay and marl; 1 g each of certified reference material TORT 2 (lobster hepatopancreas), BCR 278 (mussel tissue) and BCR 422 (cod muscle); 500 g garden mould. Microwave assisted drying takes 40 min for organic samples and 30 min for inorganic material. Important is a slow increase of microwave power during the first 20 min. The results agree well with conventional drying at 105 degrees C. Losses of As, Se and Hg have been investigated for 3 CRMs. Only Se shows losses in the range of 20%. Losses of As, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Li, Mg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Sr, Ti, Tl, V and Zn after evaporation of aqueous samples and acidic solutions after wet digestion, respectively, have been investigated. 50 mL aqueous solution was evaporated almost to dryness within 25 min. The recovery of Hg is 40-50%, of Se 90-95% and of the other elements 97-102%. 0.2 g each of TORT 2, BCR 278 and BCR 422 have been digested with 4 mL nitric acid and 1 mL hydrochloric acid by means of the microwave digestion system MULTIWAVE. The digestion residue was evaporated almost to dryness and dissolved again in 10 mL diluted nitric acid. In this case no element losses have been observed. The measured concentration of As, Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Hg, Pb, Mo, Ni, Se, Sr, V and Zn agree very well with the certified values. An important prerequisite for good recoveries is not to evaporate the solutions to complete dryness.  相似文献

The characteristics of the dehydration, thermal desorption, and thermal destruction of organic templates in zeolite-like alumo-and silicaalumophosphates of different structural types has been elucidated. The influence of pore size and acid centers on the composition of the products of thermal destruction, including processes of secondary synthesis of normal, cyclic, and aromatic hydrocarbons, has been established. 翻译后修饰是蛋白质组学研究的前沿和重点,它不仅调节着蛋白质的折叠、状态、活性、定位以及蛋白质间的相互作用,也能帮助科学家更全面地了解生物体的生命过程,为疾病的预测、诊断和治疗提供更加强大的支撑和依据。翻译后修饰产物(例如磷酸化肽和糖肽)丰度很低,且存在着强烈的背景干扰,很难直接用质谱进行分析,因此迫切需要开发高效的富集材料和技术来选择性富集翻译后修饰产物。近年来,智能聚合物基材料通过外部物理、化学或生物刺激可逆地改变其结构和功能,实现对磷酸化肽和糖肽高度可控的吸附和脱附,进而衍生开发出一系列新颖的富集方法,极大地吸引研究者们的兴趣。一方面,智能聚合物基材料的响应变化包括材料疏水性的增加或减少、形状和形貌的改变、表面电荷的重新分布以及亲和配体的暴露或隐藏等特性。这些特性使得目标物和智能聚合物基材料之间的亲和力可以通过简单改变外部条件(如温度、pH值、溶剂极性和生物分子等)实现更可控和更智能的精细调节。另一方面,智能聚合物基材料为集成功能模块提供了便捷的可扩展平台,例如特定的识别组件,显著提高了目标物质的分离选择性。智能聚合物基材料在分离方面展现出巨大的潜力,这为蛋白质翻译后修饰产物的分析和研究带来了希望。围绕上述主题,该文依据Web of Science近20年来近50篇代表性文献,概述了智能聚合物基材料在磷酸化肽和糖肽分离及富集中的发展方向。  相似文献

Emission of toxic exhaust from diesel engines is one of the major problems associated with the use of petroleum fuels. Particulate matter emission is perceived as a major pollutant, detrimental to the human health and environment, and has led to considerable study. Vehicular emissions comprise toxic pollutants that include unburnt hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, dioxins, and others. In this study, experiments have been carried out with the objective of determining overall particulate matter chemical composition and size. Electron microscopic images of the emitted soot were studied for average particle size distribution. More than 50 percent of the particles were in the range of 25 to 35 nanometers. Approximately 7, 9, 16, and 5 percent of the measured particles were from 35 to 40, 40 to 45, 45 to 50, and 50 to 55 nanometers, respectively. Determined elements were Al, Ba, Ca, K, Mg, Ti, Zn, and Zr at concentrations of 727, 53, 1100, 701, 1145, 638, 177, and 800 micrograms per milliliter respectively. Fifteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were detected in the extracts of filters and their concentrations were estimated. This investigation allows the comparison of particulate matter from different fuels and their blends.  相似文献

东乡族3~14岁儿童血钙、镁、铁、铜、锌含量分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为调查东乡族儿童指端元素水平,用火焰原子吸收法测定了该地区272名3~14岁儿童指端血的钙、镁、铁、铜、锌5种元素含量。结果表明,东乡族儿童普遍缺乏铁和锌,钙、镁、铁、铜、锌缺乏率男生依次为8.11%、2.70%、10.13%、8.78%、10.81%;女生依次为7.50%、2.50%、7.50%、8.33%、9.17%,各年龄段男女生缺锌均占第一位,钙、铁次之,铜和镁在各年龄组基本正常。提示儿童矿物质元素缺乏问题应引为重视,需要进一步改善儿童饮食结构,及时给予儿童生长发育必要的营养补充。  相似文献
