在完备格上引入了半基和局部半基的概念,给出了半基和局部半基的性质及若干等价刻画,证明了一个完备格是半连续格当且仅当它具有半基也当且仅当它每点有局部半基。在此基础上定义了半连续格的权和特征,探讨了半连续格的权和特征与其上赋予半Scott拓扑和半Lawson拓扑时的拓扑空间的权和特征的关系。解决了文献[8](赵彬,刘妮.连续Domain的特征和浓度,陕西师范大学学报,2002,30(2):1~6)中提出的一个问题。  相似文献

本文利用广义双正交序列研究广义Riesz基的等价刻画,得到了算子序列是广义Riesz基当且仅当该算子列是广义完备的广义Bessel序列,且它存在广义双正交序列及这个双正交序列也是广义完备的广义Bessel序列.进一步证明了等价刻画中两个广义Bessel序列的广义完备性条件可以去掉一个(或者任一个),并举例说明了广义双正交,广义完备与广义Bessel条件之间的关系.  相似文献

函数刻画广义度量空间,最早可追溯至Heath和Hodel的工作. 近些年来,Nagat a和一些拓扑学者利用g函数系统地研究了度量化问题. 该文引入弱基g函数的概念,利用它给出拓扑空间度量化的一些等价刻画, 推广了前人的相关工作. 证明了拓扑空间X可以度量化,当且仅当X有弱基g函数满足条件(1)和(7).  相似文献

The following two results are proven.

(i) Let G be a finitely generated torsion-free linear group. If every torsion-free section of G is an R-group, then G is soluble of finite rank. Conversely, if G has finite rank, then it has a subgroup of finite index, in which every torsion-free section is an R-group.

Let G be a finitely generated torsion-free soluble group. If in every torsion-free section of G the normalizer of each isolated subgroup is isolated, then G has finite rank. Conversely, if G has finite rank, then it has a subgroup K of finite index such that in every torsion-free section of K the normalizer of each isolated subgroup is isolated.  相似文献

We study the relationship between the positivity property in a rank 2 cluster algebra, and the property of such an algebra to be tame. More precisely, we show that a rank 2 cluster algebra has a basis of indecomposable positive elements if and only if it is of finite or affine type. Let X be a compact topological space and let C(X) denote the f-ring of all continuous real-valued functions defined on X. A point x in X is said to have rank n if, in C(X), there are n minimal prime ?-ideals contained in the maximal ?-ideal M x  = {f ? C(X):f(x) = 0}. The space X has finite rank if there is an n ? N such that every point x ? X has rank at most n. We call X an SV space (for survaluation space) if C(X)/P is a valuation domain for each minimal prime ideal P of C(X). Every compact SV space has finite rank. For a bounded continuous function h defined on a cozeroset U of X, we say there is an h-rift at the point z if h cannot be extended continuously to U ∪ {z}. We use sets of points with h-rift to investigate spaces of finite rank and SV spaces. We show that the set of points with h-rift is a subset of the set of points of rank greater than 1 and that whether or not a compact space of finite rank is SV depends on a characteristic of the closure of the set of points with h-rift for each such h. If X has finite rank and the set of points with h-rift is an F-space for each h, then X is an SV space. Moreover, if every x ? X has rank at most 2, then X is an SV space if and only if for each h, the set of points with h-rift is an F-space.  相似文献

We investigate conditions under which cusps of pinched negative curvature can be closed as manifolds or orbifolds with nonpositive sectional curvature. We show that all cusps of complex hyperbolic type can be closed in this way whereas cusps of quaternionic or Cayley hyperbolic type cannot be closed. For cusps of real hyperbolic type we derive necessary and sufficient closing conditions. In this context we prove that a noncompact finite volume quotient of a rank one symmetric space can be approximated in the Gromov Hausdorff topology by closed orbifolds with nonpositive curvature if and only if it is real or complex hyperbolic. Using cusp closing methods we obtain new examples of real analytic manifolds of nonpositive sectional curvature and rank one containing flats. By the same methods we get an explicit resolution of the singularities in the Baily-Borel resp. We define a concept of “regularity” for finite unitary reflection groups, and show that an irreducible finite unitary reflection group of rank greater than 1 is regular if and only if it is a Coxeter group. Hence we get a characterization of Coxeter groups among all the irreducible finite reflection groups of rank greater than one.
