A novel chiral metal-organic framework, [Cu(2)(5,5'-BDA)(2)] was synthesized by treating chiral 2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthalene-5,5'-dicarboxylic acid (5,5'-H(2)BDA) with a Cu(II) ion, in which the asymmetric ring opening reaction of an epoxide with amine proceeds efficiently under solvent-free conditions.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] An efficient total synthesis of (2S,2'S,3aR,3'aR,8aR,8'aR)-6,6'-dichloro-3a,3'a-dihydroxy-1,1',2,2',3,3a,3',3'a,8,8a,8',8'a-dodecahydro-5,5'-bipyrrolo[2,3-b]indole-2,2'-dicarboxylic acid, the central amino acid component of chloptosin (1), is described. Starting from m-chloronitrobenzene, this C(2)-symmetrical amino acid was synthesized by using a 14-step route, in which a Zinin benzidine rearrangement, intramolecular Heck reaction, and selenocyclization and oxidative deselenation served as key steps. The absolute stereochemistry of the target was confirmed by X-ray single-crystal studies on a key intermediate (17).  相似文献

We present here the systematic synthesis and comparative physicochemical characterization of a series of regiochemically varied and core size extension-modulated arene(perfluoroarene)-thiophene oligomers. The molecules investigated are: 5,5'-diphenyl-2,2':5',2':5',2'-quaterthiophene (1), 5,5'-bis[1-[4-(thien-2-yl)phenyl]]-2,2'-dithiophene (2), 4,4'-bis[5-(2,2'-dithiophenyl)]-biphenyl (3), 5,5'-diperfluorophenyl-2,2':5',2':5',2'-quaterthiophene (4), 5,5'-bis[1-[4-(thien-2-yl)perfluorophenyl]]-2,2'-dithiophene (5), 4,4'-bis[5-(2,2'-dithiophenyl)]-perfluorobiphenyl (6), 5,5'-diperfluorophenyl-2,2':5',2'-tertthiophene (7), 5,5'-diperfluorophenyl-2,2'-dihiophene (8), and 5,5-diperfluorophenylthiophene (9). Trends in optical absorption and emission parameters, molecular structures as defined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, as well as electrochemical redox processes are described. The morphologies and microstructures of the vapor-deposited films grown over a range of growth temperatures have also been characterized. Field-effect transistor (FET) measurements demonstrate that all of these materials are FET-active and, depending on the molecular architecture, exhibit comparably good p- or n-type mobility when optimum film microstructural order is achieved. A very large n-channel mobility of approximately 0.5 cm2/Vs with I(on)/I(off) ratios > 10(8) is achieved for films of 4.  相似文献

With the aim of developing new oligothiophene-based liquid crystals involving hydrogen bonding, new terthiophene derivatives containing an alkylamide group, N,N'-distearyl-2,2' : 5',2"-terthiophene-5,5"-dicarboxamide (DNC183T) and N,N'-dialkyl-5,5"-dibromo-2,2' : 5',2"-terthiophene-4,4"-dicarboxamides (DNCnDBr3T, n = 5, 8, 16, 18), were designed and synthesized, and their thermal behaviour examined. While DNC183T did not exhibit liquid crystallinity, DNCnDBr3T compounds with n = 8, 16, 18 were found to form smectic A phases. In addition to liquid crystal behaviour, crystal polymorphism was also observed for DNC16DBr3T. It is shown that both the position of the amido group and the alkyl chain length greatly affect liquid crystal phase formation. The absence of liquid crystallinity in the corresponding ester derivatives suggests that intermolecular hydrogen bonding also plays a role in the formation of liquid crystal phases in the DNCnDBr3T system.  相似文献

Two new heteroleptic ruthenium(II) photosensitizers that contains 2,2';6,2'-terpyridine with extended π-conjugation with donor groups, a 4,4'-dicarboxylic acid-2,2'-bipyridine anchoring ligand and a thiocyanate ligand have been designed, synthesized and fully characterized by CHN, mass spectrometry, UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopies and cyclic voltammetry. The new sensitizers have either 3,5-di-tert-butyl phenyl (m-BL-5) or triphenylamine (m-BL-6) groups, where the molar extinction coefficient of both the sensitizers is higher than the analogous ruthenium dyes. Both the sensitizers were tested in dye-sensitized solar cells using two different redox electrolytes.  相似文献

The preparation and the properties of several ruthenium complexes of the general formula cis-RuL(2)X(2) with L = 2,2'-bipyridine-4,4'-bisphosphonic acid, L' = 2,2'-bipyridine-5,5'-bisphosphonic acid, and X = Cl, CN, or NCS are reported. The synthesis of these complexes relies on the preparation of the key intermediates cis-Ru(bipyridinebis(diethyl ester phosphonate))Cl(2). The ground-state second pK(a) values of the thiocyanato complexes were determined and are 6.0 and 6.1 for cis-RuL(2)(NCS)(2) and for cis-RuL'(2)(NCS)(2), respectively. For these species, (13)C NMR and IR demonstrate that the thiocyanato ligands are bound to Ru via the N atom. The new complexes exhibit a blue-shifted electronic absorption spectrum with respect to the analogous complexes containing carboxylic acid groups. Density functional theory molecular orbital calculations show that the LUMO of the bipyridine phosphonated ligands is at higher energy than the corresponding dicarboxylate complexes and that the thiocyanato ligands are not simple spectator ligands, whose role is to enrich electron density on the ruthenium, but are also involved in transitions from PiRu-NCS to Pibpy that extend the absorbance of the dye in the low energy part of the absorption spectrum. The photoaction spectra recorded in a sandwich regenerative photovoltaic cell indicate that the cyano and thiocyanato complexes containing the bipyridine substituted in 4,4' positions exhibit a 90-95% photoconversion efficiency on the MLCT band, whereas those containing the bipyridine substituted in 5,5' positions display lower efficiency (60-65%). The most efficient complex in the series is cis-RuL(2)(NCS)(2); however, its overall efficiency is about 30% lower than the analogue cis-Ru(H(2)dcb)(2)(NCS)(2) (H(2)dcb = 2,2'-bipyridine-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid) due to a lower absorbance in the red part of the visible spectrum.  相似文献

New carbonyl-functionalized quaterthiophenes, 5,5' '-diperfluorophenylcarbonyl-2,2':5',2' ':5' ',2' '-quaterthiophene [DFCO-4T], 5,5' '-diphenyl-2,2':5',2' ':5' ',2' '-quaterthiophene [DPCO-4T], and a polymer having the same basic motif as DFCO-4T, poly{1,4-bis[(3'-n-octyl-2,2'-dithiophene)carbonyl]-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzene} [P(COFCO-4T)], have been synthesized, characterized, and the crystal structures of the molecules determined. Field-effect transistors fabricated with vapor-deposited and solution-cast films of DFCO-4T exhibit very high Ion:Ioff current ratios (up to 108) and electron mobilities up to approximately 0.51 and approximately 0.25 cm2.V-1.s-1, respectively. Solution-cast blends of P(COFCO-4T) and DFCO-4T (1:1 weight ratio) exhibit an electron mobility of approximately 0.01 cm2.V-1.s-1 (Ion:Ioff = 104).  相似文献

The synthesis of a new series of mixed phenylene-thiophene oligomers is reported; 2,5-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)thiophene (dH-PTP, 1), 5,5'-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2,2'-bithiophene (dH-PTTP, 2), 5,5' '-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2,2':5',2' '-terthiophene (dH-PT(3)P, 3), 5,5' "-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2,2':5',2' ':5' ',2' "-quaterthiophene (dH-PT(4)P, 4), 1,4-bis[5-(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2-thienyl]benzene (dH-PTPTP, 5), and 2,5-bis[4(4'-n-hexylphenyl)phenyl]thiophene (dH-PPTPP, 6) were characterized by (1)H NMR, elemental analysis, UV-visible spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis. Vacuum-evaporated and solution-cast films were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. All compounds display high p-type carrier mobilities as evaporated (up to 0.09 cm(2)/Vs) and as solution-cast (up to 0.03 cm(2)/Vs) films on both Si/SiO(2) and ITO/GR (glass resin) substrates. The straightforwardly synthesized dH-PTTP (2) displays an unprecedented combination of mobility, on/off ratio, stability, and processability. Both dH-PTTP (2) and dH-PPTPP (6) display a reversible, tunable, and stable memory effect even as solution-cast devices, with turn-on characteristics shifting from accumulation mode to zero or depletion mode after a writing voltage V(w) is applied. The charge storage is distributed over the gate dielectric structure and is concentrated near the dielectric-semiconductor interface, as evidenced by the response of "floating gate" configuration devices. Simple nonvolatile elements have been fabricated by solution-only techniques on ITO substrates using spin-coated glass resin, solution-cast oligomeric semiconductors, and painted graphite paste electrodes.  相似文献

The phosphorescent binuclear iridium(III) complexes tetrakis(2-phenylpyridine)μ-(2,2':6',2'-terpyridine-6,6'-dicarboxylic acid)diiridium (Ir1) and tetrakis(2-(2,4-difluorophenyl) pyridine))μ-(2,2':6',2'-terpyridine-6,6'-dicarboxylic acid)diiridium (Ir2) were synthesized in a straightforward manner and characterized using X-ray diffraction, NMR, UV-vis absorption, and emission spectroscopy. The complexes have similar solution structures in which the two iridium centers are equivalent. This is further confirmed by the solid state structure of Ir2. The newly reported complexes display intense luminescence in dichloromethane solutions with maxima at 538 (Ir1) and 477 nm (Ir2) at 298 K (496 and 468 nm at 77 K, respectively) and emission quantum yields reaching ~18% for Ir1. The emission quantum yield for Ir1 is among the highest values reported for dinuclear iridium complexes. It shows only a 11% decrease with respect to the emission quantum yield reported for its mononuclear analogue, while the molar extinction coefficient is roughly doubled. This suggests that such architectures are of potential interest for the development of polymetallic assemblies showing improved optical properties. DFT and time-dependent-DFT calculations were performed on the ground and excited states of the complexes to provide insights into their structural, electronic, and photophysical properties.  相似文献

A single centre water splitting dye complex (aqua(2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid)-(2,2':6',6'-terpyridine)Ruthenium(II)), along with a related complex ((2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid)-(2,2':6',6'-terpyridine)chloride Ruthenium(II)), has been investigated using photoemission and compared to molecules with similar structures. Dye molecules were deposited in situ using ultra-high vacuum electrospray deposition, which allows for the deposition of thermally labile molecules, such as these dye molecules. Adsorption of the dye molecules on the rutile TiO(2)(110) surface has been studied using core-level and valence photoemission. Core-level photoemission spectra reveal that each complex bonds to the surface via deprotonation of its carboxylic acid groups. A consideration of the energy level alignments reveals that both complexes are capable of charge transfer from the adsorbed molecules to the conduction band of the rutile TiO(2) substrate.  相似文献

The UV/Vis, infrared absorption, and Raman scattering spectra of 3',4'-dibutyl-5,5"-bis(dicyanomethylene)-5,5"-dihydro-2,2':5',2"-terthiophene have been analyzed with the aid of density functional theory calculations. The compound exhibits a quinoid structure in its ground electronic state and presents an intramolecular charge transfer from the terthiophene moiety to the C(CN)2 groups. The molecular system therefore consists of an electron-deficient terthiophene backbone end-capped with electron-rich C(CN)2 groups. The molecule is characterized by a strong absorption in the red, due to the HOMO-->LUMO pi-pi* electronic transition of the terthiophene backbone that shifts hypsochromically on passing from the solid state to solution and with the polarity of the solvent. The analysis of the vibrational spectra confirms the structural conclusions and supports the existence of an intramolecular charge transfer. Vibrational spectra in several solvents and as a function of temperature have also been studied. Significant frequency upshifts of the vibrations involved in the pi-electron-conjugated pathway have been noticed upon solution in polar solvents and with the lowering of the temperature. Finally, we propose a quinoid molecule as a reliable structural and electronic model for dication species in doped oligothiophenes or for bipolaron charged defects in doped polythiophene.  相似文献

A new ruthenium(II) complex, tetrabutylammonium [ruthenium (4-carboxylic acid-4'-carboxylate-2,2'-bipyridine)(4,4'-di(2-(3,6-dimethoxyphenyl)ethenyl)-2,2'-bipyridine)(NCS)(2)] (N945H), was synthesized and characterized by analytical, spectroscopic, and electrochemical techniques. The absorption spectrum of the N945H sensitizer is dominated by metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) transitions in the visible region, with the lowest allowed MLCT bands appearing at 25 380 and 18 180 cm(-1). The molar extinction coefficients of these bands are 34 500 and 18 900 M(-1) cm(-1), respectively, and are significantly higher when compared to than those of the standard sensitizer cis-dithiocyanatobis(4,4'-dicarboxylic acid-2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(II). An INDO/S and density functional theory study of the electronic and optical properties of N945H and of N945 adsorbed on TiO(2) was performed. The calculations point out that the top three frontier-filled orbitals have essentially ruthenium 4d (t(2g) in the octahedral group) character with sizable contribution coming from the NCS ligand orbitals. Most critically the calculations reveal that, in the TiO(2)-bound N945 sensitizer, excitation directs charge into the carboxylbipyridine ligand bound to the TiO(2) surface. The photovoltaic data of the N945 sensitizer using an electrolyte containing 0.60 M butylmethylimidazolium iodide, 0.03 M I(2), 0.10 M guanidinium thiocyanate, and 0.50 M tert-butylpyridine in a mixture of acetonitrile and valeronitrile (volume ratio = 85:15) exhibited a short-circuit photocurrent density of 16.50 +/- 0.2 mA cm(-2), an open-circuit voltage of 790 +/- 30 mV, and a fill factor of 0.72 +/- 0.03, corresponding to an overall conversion efficiency of 9.6% under standard AM (air mass) 1.5 sunlight, and demonstrated a stable performance under light and heat soaking at 80 degrees C.  相似文献

A series of mono- and bidentate phosphites was prepared with (S)-5,5',6,6'-tetramethyl-3,3'-di-tert-butyl-1,1'-biphenyl-2,2'-dioxy [(S)-BIPHEN] as a chiral auxiliary and screened in the asymmetric hydroformylation of allyl cyanide. These hydroformylation results were compared with those of two existing chiral ligands, Chiraphite and BINAPHOS, whose utility in asymmetric hydroformylation has been previously demonstrated. Bisphosphite 11 with a 2,2'-biphenol bridge was found to be the best overall ligand for asymmetric hydroformylation of allyl cyanide with up to 80% ee and regioselectivities (branch-to-linear ratio, b/l) of 20 with turnover frequency of 625 [h(-)(1)] at 35 degrees C. BINAPHOS gave enantioselectivities up to 77% ee when the reaction was conducted in either acetone or neat but with poor regioselectivity (b/l 2.8) and activities 7 times lower than that of 11. The product of allyl cyanide hydroformylation using (R,R)-11 was subsequently transformed into (R)-2-methyl-4-aminobutanol, a useful chiral building block. Single-crystal X-ray structures of (S,S)-11 and its rhodium complex 19 were determined.  相似文献

This paper reports the X-ray structure of 3,3'-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-2,2'-bithiophene (1), which is the building block for the synthesis of head-to-head/tail-to-tail 2-hydroxyethyl-substituted oligothiophenes. Contrary to all the bithiophenes reported so far, 1 exhibits a noncoplanar anti conformation and an inter-ring twist angle (67.5 degrees ) which is the largest ever measured for adjacent rings of alpha-conjugated oligothiophenes. This unusual conformation appears to be dictated by intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions involving the OH groups, which bind the molecule in close packed layers. The paper also describes the regioselective synthesis of the dimer and the trimer of 1, namely of 3,3',4",3"'-tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)-2,2':5',2":5",2"'-quaterthiophene (3c) and of 3,3',4",3"',4",3"'-hexakis(2-hydroxyethyl)-2,2':5',2":5",2"':5"',2":5",2"'-sexithiophene (4b). 3c And 4b were obtained through palladium(0)-catalyzed coupling of the mono- and distannanes of the tetrahydropyranyl derivative of 1 with the appropriate monobromo compound (Stille's reaction). Finally, the paper reports force-field calculations which suggest that the low lambda(max) values measured for 1, 3c, and 4b are also the result of intramolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions which favor highly twisted conformations in solution.  相似文献

Two novel chiral BINOL derivatives with bis(benzylamine) groups at the 3,3- positions have been synthesized through the condensation reaction between 2,2'-bis(methoxy- methyleneoxy)-1,1'-binaphthyl-3,3'-dicarboxylic acid and benzylamine or N-phenyl benzylamine in the presence of triethylamine. Suitable single crystal of (R)-N,N'-dibenzyl-2,2'-dihydroxy-1, 1'-binaphthly-3,3'-diformamide (R)-3 for X-ray diffraction was obtained by recrystallization at room temperature from the mixture solvents. Crystallographic data of (R)-3: C40H36N2O6, Mr = 640.71, monoclinic, space group P21, a = 6.746(3), b = 21.883(9), c = 11.723(5) , β = 104.605(7)°, Z = 2, V = 1674.7(12) 3, Dc = 1.271 g/cm3, F(000) = 676, R = 0.0729, wR = 0.1687 and μ(MoKα) = 0.086 mm-1. Two chiral BINOL ligands were found to be effective in the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes and much different enantioselectivity was observed both in the presence and absence of Ti(OiPr)4. In the former case, (R)-3 showed moderate enantioselectivity, which was lower than that of (R)-BINOL's; and in the latter case, (R)-4 gave the highest enan- tioselectivity up to 93.3% ee.*  相似文献
