In this paper, the geometrical design for the blade's surface in an impeller or for the profile of an aircraft, is modeled from the mathematical point of view by a boundary shape control problem for the Navier-Stokes equations. The objective function is the sum of a global dissipative function and the power of the fluid. The control variables are the geometry of the boundary and the state equations are the Navier-Stokes equations. The Euler-Lagrange equations of the optimal control problem are derived, which are an elliptic boundary value system of fourth order, coupled with the Navier-Stokes equations. The authors also prove the existence of the solution of the optimal control problem, the existence of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions, the weak continuity of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry shape of the blade's surface and the existence of solutions of the equations for the Gateaux derivative of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry of the boundary.  相似文献

In this paper, sufficient criteria are established for the existence of periodic solutions of some functional dynamic equations with infinite delays on time scales, which generalize and incorporate as special cases many known results for differential equations and for difference equations when the time scale is the set of the real numbers or the integers, respectively. The approach is mainly based on the Krasnosel’ski? fixed point theorem, which has been extensively applied in studying existence problems in differential equations and difference equations but rarely applied in studying dynamic equations on time scales. This study shows that one can unify such existence studies in the sense of dynamic equations on general time scales.  相似文献

The fractional stochastic differential equations have wide applications in various fields of science and engineering. This paper addresses the issue of existence of mild solutions for a class of fractional stochastic differential equations with impulses in Hilbert spaces. Using fractional calculations, fixed point technique, stochastic analysis theory and methods adopted directly from deterministic fractional equations, new set of sufficient conditions are formulated and proved for the existence of mild solutions for the fractional impulsive stochastic differential equation with infinite delay. Further, we study the existence of solutions for fractional stochastic semilinear differential equations with nonlocal conditions. Examples are provided to illustrate the obtained theory.  相似文献

The aims of this paper are to discuss global existence and uniqueness of strong solution for a class of isentropic compressible navier-Stokes equations with non-Newtonian in one-dimensional bounded intervals. We prove two global existence results on strong solutions of isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The first result shows only the existence. And the second one shows the existence and uniqueness result based on the first result, but the uniqueness requires some compatibility condition.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of discrete-time backward non-linear equations defined on some ordered Hilbert spaces of symmetric matrices is considered. The problem of the existence of some global solutions is investigated. The class of considered discrete-time non-linear equations contains, as special cases, a great number of difference Riccati equations both from the deterministic and the stochastic framework. The results proved in the paper provide the sets of necessary and sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of some special solutions of the considered equations as: the maximal solution, the stabilizing solution and the minimal positive semi-definite solution. These conditions are expressed in terms of the feasibility of some suitable systems of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). One shows that in the case of the equations with periodic coefficients to verify the conditions that guarantee the existence of the maximal or the stabilizing solution, we have to check the solvability of some systems of LMI with a finite number of inequations. The proofs are based on some suitable properties of discrete-time linear equations defined by the positive operators on some ordered Hilbert spaces chosen adequately. The results derived in this paper provide useful conditions that guarantee the existence of the maximal solution or the stabilizing solution for different classes of difference matrix Riccati equations involved in many problems of robust control both in the deterministic and the stochastic framework. The proofs are deterministic and are accessible to the readers less familiarized with the stochastic reasonings.  相似文献

We study the existence of traveling wave solutions for reaction-diffusion equations with nonlocal delay, where reaction terms are not necessarily monotone. The existence of traveling wave solutions for reaction-diffusion equations with nonlocal delays is obtained by combining upper and lower solutions for associated integral equations and the Schauder fixed point theorem. The smoothness of upper and lower solutions is not required in this paper.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study solvability of two classes of functional equations and a class of system of functional equations arising in dynamic programming of multistage decision processes. By using fixed point theorems, a few existence and uniqueness theorems of solutions and iterative approximation for solving these classes of functional equations are established. Under certain conditions, some existence theorems of coincidence solutions for the class of system of functional equations are shown. Some examples are given to demonstrate the advantage of our results than existing ones in the literature.  相似文献

Non-linear singular integral equations are investigated in connection with some basic applications in two-dimensional fluid mechanics. A general existence and uniqueness analysis is proposed for non-linear singular integral equations defined on a Banach space. Therefore, the non-linear equations are defined over a finite set of contours and the existence of solutions is investigated for two different kinds of equations, the first and the second kind. Moreover, the existence of solutions is further studied for non-linear singular integral equations over a finite number of arbitrarily ordered arcs. An application to fluid mechanics theory is finally given for the determination of the form of the profiles of a turbomachine in two-dimensional flow of an incompressible fluid.  相似文献

In this papier, a homotopy index (Conley index) which can be applied to non-autonomous differential equations is defined. It is proved that the index is well defined, and several theorems concerning its basic properties are established. The second part of this paper is concerned with the application of this index to (non-autonomous) ordinary differential equations as well as (non-autonomous) semilinear parabolic equations. Finally, several existence results for bounded solutions of asymptotically linear non-autonomous equations are proved. In this paper, we study a class of nonlinear operator equations with more extensive conditions in ordered Banach spaces. By using the cone theory and Banach contraction mapping principle, the existence and uniqueness of solutions for such equations are investigated without demanding the existence of upper and lower solutions and compactness and continuity conditions. The results in this paper are applied to a class of abstract semilinear evolution equations with noncompact semigroup in Banach spaces and the initial value problems for nonlinear second-order integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces. The Kirchhoff equations without any growth and Ambrosetti–Rabinowitz conditions are considered in this paper. By using the cutoff function, we get the existence of nontrivial solutions to revised equation.
