Artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm invented recently by Karaboga is a biological-inspired optimization algorithm, which has been shown to be competitive with some conventional biological-inspired algorithms, such as genetic algorithm (GA), differential evolution (DE) and particle swarm optimization (PSO). However, there is still an insufficiency in ABC algorithm regarding its solution search equation, which is good at exploration but poor at exploitation. Inspired by PSO, we propose an improved ABC algorithm called gbest-guided ABC (GABC) algorithm by incorporating the information of global best (gbest) solution into the solution search equation to improve the exploitation. The experimental results tested on a set of numerical benchmark functions show that GABC algorithm can outperform ABC algorithm in most of the experiments.  相似文献

Artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) is a relatively new optimization technique which has been shown to be competitive to other population-based algorithms. However, there is still an insufficiency in ABC regarding its solution search equation, which is good at exploration but poor at exploitation. To address this concerning issue, we propose an improved ABC (IABC) by using a modified search strategy to generate a new food source in order that the exploration and exploitation can be well balanced and satisfactory optimization performances can be achieved. In addition, to enhance the global convergence, when producing the initial population, both opposition-based learning method and chaotic maps are employed. In this paper, the proposed algorithm is applied to control and synchronization of discrete chaotic systems which can be formulated as both multimodal numerical optimization problems with high dimension. Numerical simulation and comparisons with some typical existing algorithms demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Swarm intelligence is a research branch that models the population of interacting agents or swarms that are able to self-organize. An ant colony, a flock of birds or an immune system is a typical example of a swarm system. Bees’ swarming around their hive is another example of swarm intelligence. Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm is an optimization algorithm based on the intelligent behaviour of honey bee swarm. In this work, ABC algorithm is used for optimizing multivariable functions and the results produced by ABC, Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Algorithm (PSO) and Particle Swarm Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm (PS-EA) have been compared. 本文给出了一种离散的人工蜂群算法(HDABC)用于求解混合流水车间调度(HFS)问题。采用工件排序的编码方式,并设计了四种邻域结构。雇佣蜂依次分派到解集中每个解,采用结合问题特征的局部搜索策略完成挖掘搜索工作。跟随蜂随机选择两个解并挑选较优者作为当前解,完成进一步的探优过程。侦察蜂采用三种策略跳出局部极小。通过34个同构并行机HFS问题和2个异构并行机HFS实际调度问题的实验,并与当前文献中的典型算法对比,验证了本文提出的算法无论在算法时间还是在求解质量上,都具备良好的性能。  相似文献

本文研究了遗传算法易发生"早熟"以及人工蜂群算法在搜索初期寻优速度慢的问题.基于将遗传算法与人工蜂群算法融合以实现二者互补的思想,提出遗传-人工蜂群融合算法(G-ABCA),利用马尔可夫理论对其收敛性进行了理论分析,证明其适应度函数值序列(即优化解满意值序列)是单调且收敛的,并利用四个经典的多峰测试函数对遗传-人工蜂群融合算法、改进的遗传算法以及人工蜂群算法进行了对比实验分析,结果表明:遗传-人工蜂群融合算法不仅收敛,而且其寻优性能显著优于其它两种算法.  相似文献

针对人工蜂群算法早熟收敛问题,基于元胞自动机原理和人工蜂群算法,提出一种元胞人工蜂群算法.该算法将元胞演化和人工蜂群搜索相结合,利用元胞及其邻居的演化提高了种群多样性,避免陷入局部最优解.经一系列典型0-1规划问题实例的仿真实验和与其他算法对比,验证了本算法的效果和效率,获得了满意的结果.  相似文献

University course timetabling is concerned with assigning a set of courses to a set of rooms and timeslots according to a set of constraints. This problem has been tackled using metaheuristics techniques. Artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm has been successfully used for tackling uncapaciated examination and course timetabling problems. In this paper, a novel hybrid ABC algorithm based on the integrated technique is proposed for tackling the university course timetabling problem. First of all, initial feasible solutions are generated using the combination of saturation degree (SD) and backtracking algorithm (BA). Secondly, a hill climbing optimizer is embedded within the employed bee operator to enhance the local exploitation ability of the original ABC algorithm while tackling the problem. Hill climbing iteratively navigates the search space of each population member in order to reach a local optima. The proposed hybrid ABC technique is evaluated using the dataset established by Socha including five small, five medium and one large problem instances. Empirical results on these problem instances validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Our work also shows that a well-designed hybrid technique is a competitive alternative for addressing the university course timetabling problem.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel discrete artificial bee colony (DABC) algorithm for solving the multi-objective flexible job shop scheduling problem with maintenance activities. Performance criteria considered are the maximum completion time so called makespan, the total workload of machines and the workload of the critical machine. Unlike the original ABC algorithm, the proposed DABC algorithm presents a unique solution representation where a food source is represented by two discrete vectors and tabu search (TS) is applied to each food source to generate neighboring food sources for the employed bees, onlooker bees, and scout bees. An efficient initialization scheme is introduced to construct the initial population with a certain level of quality and diversity. A self-adaptive strategy is adopted to enable the DABC algorithm with learning ability for producing neighboring solutions in different promising regions whereas an external Pareto archive set is designed to record the non-dominated solutions found so far. Furthermore, a novel decoding method is also presented to tackle maintenance activities in schedules generated. The proposed DABC algorithm is tested on a set of the well-known benchmark instances from the existing literature. Through a detailed analysis of experimental results, the highly effective and efficient performance of the proposed DABC algorithm is shown against the best performing algorithms from the literature.  相似文献

针对柔性作业车间调度问题,提出一种新型两阶段动态混合群智能优化算法.算法初始阶段采用动态邻域的协同粒子群进行粗搜索,第二阶段提出了基于混沌算子的蜂群进行细搜索,既增强了种群多样性,又提高了算法搜索精度,实现了全局搜索与局部搜索能力的有效平衡.针对柔性作业车间调度问题特点,采用独特的编码方式和位置更新策略来避免不合法解的产生.最后将此算法在不同规模的实例上进行了仿真测试,并与最近提出的其他几种具有代表性的算法进行了比较,验证了算法的有效性和优越性.  相似文献

Traveling salesman problem is a fundamental combinatorial optimization model studied in the operations research community for nearly half a century, yet there is surprisingly little literature that addresses uncertainty and multiple objectives in it. A novel TSP variation, called uncertain multiobjective TSP (UMTSP) with uncertain variables on the arc, is proposed in this paper on the basis of uncertainty theory, and a new solution approach named uncertain approach is applied to obtain Pareto efficient route in UMTSP. Considering the uncertain and combinatorial nature of UMTSP, a new ABC algorithm inserted with reverse operator, crossover operator and mutation operator is designed to this problem, which outperforms other algorithms through the performance comparison on three benchmark TSPs. Finally, a new benchmark UMTSP case study is presented to illustrate the construction and solution of UMTSP, which shows that the optimal route in deterministic TSP can be a poor route in UMTSP.  相似文献

This paper presents the modified ant colony optimization (MACO) based algorithm to find global optimum. Algorithm is based on that solution space of problem is restricted by the best solution of the previous iteration. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm is that variables of problem are optimized concurrently. This algorithm was tested on some standard test functions, and successful results were obtained. Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) is a well known optimization approach to solve nonlinear and complex problems. It is relatively a simple and recent population based probabilistic approach for global optimization. Similar to other population based algorithms, ABC is also computationally expensive due to its slow nature of search process. The solution search equation of ABC is significantly influenced by a random quantity which helps in exploration at the cost of exploitation of the search space. In the solution search equation of ABC due to the large step size the chance of skipping the true solution is high. Therefore, in this paper, to balance the diversity and convergence capability of the ABC, Lévy Flight random walk based local search strategy is proposed and incorporated with ABC along with opposition based learning strategy. The proposed algorithm is named as Opposition Based Lévy Flight ABC. The experiments over 14 un-biased test problems of different complexities and five well known engineering optimization problems show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the basic ABC and its recent variants namely Gbest guided ABC, Best-So-Far ABC, and Modified ABC in most of the experiments.  相似文献

The Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm is one of the most recent swarm intelligence based algorithms which simulates the foraging behavior of honey bee colonies. In this work, a particle swarm inspired multi-elitist ABC algorithm named PS-MEABC is proposed and applied for real-parameter optimization. In this modified version, the global best solution and an elitist randomly selected from the elitist archive are used to modify parameters of each food source in either onlooker bees or employed bees phases. PS-MEABC is compared with 5 state-of-the-art swarm based algorithms on CEC05 and BBOB12 benchmark functions in terms of four metrics: the mean error, the best error, the success rate (SR) and the expected running time (ERT). Wilcoxon signed ranks test results on the mean and the best error show that the performance of PS-MEABC is significantly better than or at least similar to these algorithms, and PS-MEABC has wider application range in terms of the success rate and faster convergence speed in terms of the expected running time. Our algorithm is comparable to its competitors with a fewer control parameters to be tuned.  相似文献

为了克服人工蜂群算法蜜源更新过程中的随机性并保留蜜源中个体序列合理的组合形式,通过分析基本蜂群算法更新公式的机理,提出一种改进GA(Genetic A1gorithm)机制融合的二进制蜂群算法.算法以二进制编码,首先依概率对任意两蜜源进行"去同存异"操作后随机排列,将排列结果放入到其中某个体中形成新个体.然后依概率进行二进制个体的"翻转"操作,上述两种操作从其本质上相当于GA的类交叉和类变异操作;其次利用GA机制收敛性的证明方式在理论上证明算法是收敛的.最后通过应用不同特性的多维基准函数和算法之间的比较验证改进蜂群算法具有良好的收敛能力和鲁棒性.  相似文献

Image thresholding is an important technique for image processing and pattern recognition. Many thresholding techniques have been proposed in the literature. Among them, the maximum entropy thresholding (MET) has been widely applied. In this paper, a new multilevel MET algorithm based on the technology of the honey bee mating optimization (HBMO) is proposed. This proposed method is called the maximum entropy based honey bee mating optimization thresholding (MEHBMOT) method. Three different methods such as the particle swarm optimization (PSO), the hybrid cooperative-comprehensive learning based PSO algorithm (HCOCLPSO) and the Fast Otsu’s method are also implemented for comparison with the results of the proposed method. The experimental results manifest that the proposed MEHBMOT algorithm can search for multiple thresholds which are very close to the optimal ones examined by the exhaustive search method. In comparison with the other three thresholding methods, the segmentation results using the MEHBMOT algorithm is the best and its computation time is relatively low. Furthermore, the convergence of the MEHBMOT algorithm can rapidly achieve and the results validate that the proposed MEHBMOT algorithm is efficient.  相似文献
