Fluorinated acrylate latex was successfully prepared by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization of dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate (DFMA) with butyl acrylate (BA), methyl methacrylate (MMA) initiated by potassium persulfate in the water. The resultant latexes and their films are characterized with Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometry, contact angle determinator, dynamic light scattering detector and surface tension determinator. Effect of different surfactants on colloidal and polymer properties of fluorinated acrylate latex was studied. Results show that the latex prepared with sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate surfactant has the smallest particle size and contact angle but the moderate surface tension. The latex prepared with perfluorooctanesulfonic acid potassium surfactant has the smallest surface tension, moderate particle size but the biggest contact angle. The latex prepared with sodium 2-hydroxy-3-(methacryloyloxy) prop- ane-1-sulfonate surfactant has the biggest particle size and surface tension but moderate contact angle. In addition, the latex prepared with sodium 2-hydroxy-3-(methacryloyloxy) prop- ane-1-sulfonate has higher electrolyte stability.  相似文献

The novel poly (AN-BA-DFMA) was prepared via semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization. The resultant novel latex is characterized with FTIR and DSC. The reaction conditions for preparing the novel latex are optimized and studied in detail. Results show that the novel latex with small particle size and good stability and hydrophobicity can be obtained when the amount of emulsifiers is 6.0%, the mass ratio of OP-10 to SDBS is 2.0:1.0, and the amount of initiator and DFMA is 2.5% and 20%, respectively. Under such conditions, the conversion rate is high and the coagulation percentage is low.  相似文献

Emulsifier-free latex of fluorinated acrylate copolymer   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Emulsifier-free latices of fluorinated acrylate copolymers were prepared by semicontinuous polymerization method, with perfluoroalkylethyl methacrylate (Zonyl TM) as a fluoromonomer. Ultrasonic at 40 kHz was adopted to help monomers disperse well in water. The relationships of polymerization conditions between the final conversion and polymerization stability were discussed in detail and the optimal polymerization condition was given. A fluorinated acrylate copolymer was finally obtained and its Tg was 54 °C. The average particle size of the latex was about 601 nm and the particle size distribution of the latex was narrow. The latex film exhibited a low surface free energy and good surface property. By using 6% Zonyl TM, the water contact angle of the film-air interface increased significantly and reached to 110.2°. Compared with the latex film of fluorine-free polyacrylate prepared under the similar polymerization condition, the fluorinated latex film had a better water-resistance and thermal stability.  相似文献

系统研究了MMA EA AA三元无皂乳液聚合体系中各种因素对乳胶粒大小及分布的影响 ,制得了单分散、粒径在 30 0~ 6 0 0nm可控聚合物乳胶粒 .结果表明 ,在过硫酸铵用量一定的条件下 ,聚合初期加入大量引发剂可同时提高单体转化率和乳胶粒的单分散性 ;随着引发剂和AA用量的增加以及聚合温度的升高 ,胶粒粒径逐渐减小 ,转化率逐渐升高 ;随着NH4 HCO3用量的增加 ,粒径逐渐增大 ,当NH4 HCO3用量达到 0 5g以后 ,转化率逐渐降低 ;搅拌速率为 30 0r min左右时 ,单体转化率最高 ,所得乳胶粒粒径最均一 .  相似文献

功能性聚合物乳液的性能与其功能基的含量密切相关. 采用完全无皂种子乳液聚合技术合成了具有不同羧基含量并且粒径分布均一的交联型聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯-丙烯酸乙酯因为甲基丙烯酸 [P(MMA-EA-MAA)]乳胶粒, 然后通过碱后处理, 制备出了高羧基含量的无皂多孔P(MMA-EA-MAA)乳胶粒. 系统研究了MAA对聚合反应、胶粒特性及胶粒多孔结构形态的影响. 结果表明: 在交联剂二乙烯基苯用量一定(0.3 g)的条件下, 随着MAA用量从4.0 mol%增加到 10.0 mol%, 聚合物交联程度(Px)从28.26%迅速增大至90.95%, 当其用量超过10.0 mol%后Px增大趋势变缓; 随着MAA用量的增加, 处理后胶粒体积膨胀百分率(ΔV)逐渐增大, 在MAA用量为12.0 mol%时ΔV达到42.1%的最大值, 当MAA用量增大到14.0 mol%时, 尽管Px高达95.44%, 胶粒仍具有完好的孔状结构.  相似文献

Composite latex particles of acrylate and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) with high PDMS content was prepared by emulsion copolymerization and characterized by particle size analyzer, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). With gemini surfactant as the co-emulsifier in the system, the PDMS content in the system reached 50%, which was far higher than the other reported values. Through the characterization of the particle size analyzer, the particle size augmented with the increase of the amount of PDMS, which could be said that the polysiloxane had participated into the reaction and had been introduced into the colloid particle. The results of FTIR indicated that almost all the monomer had been exhausted in the reaction because there was no C=C and D4 characteristic peaks in the spectrum. Besides the surface properties also were measured by surface tension analysis, water absorption, and the static contact angle, it could be found that with the increase of polysiloxane content, the excellent properties acquired by PDMS were clearly revealed by the findings, such as the decrease of surface tension and water absorption, and the increase of static contact angle. All the measurements were consistent with the conclusion that the composite latex particles of polysiloxane and acrylate with high siloxane content had been prepared successfully.  相似文献

以甲基丙烯酸、丙烯酸乙酯、邻苯二甲酸二烯丙酯和不同量的功能单体二十二烷基聚氧乙烯醚甲基丙烯酸酯(BEM)为原料,采用半连续乳液聚合方法合成了疏水改性碱溶性缔合型增稠剂乳液.测定了增稠剂乳液的粘度、透光率、乳胶粒粒径及其分布等性能,考察了不同固含量下乳液粘度和透光率随pH的变化情况.结果表明随着BEM用量的增加,乳胶粒粒径逐渐增大.随着pH值的增加,乳液的粘度首先迅速升高,然后缓慢下降.与不含BEM的增稠剂乳液相比,当乳液固含量大于0.5%,BEM含量占单体量低于5.0wt%时,该缔合型增稠剂的增稠效果和抗剪切性有显著提高,BEM含量较高(8.0wt%或更高)时反而使增稠效果和抗剪切性变差.在此基础上研究了增稠剂对苯丙乳液的增稠效应,结果显示BEM含量占单体量的2.5wt%时,对苯丙乳液的增稠作用最好.与使用功能单体三苯乙基苯酚聚氧乙烯醚甲基丙烯酸酯改性的增稠剂相比,含BEM的增稠剂在BEM用量较少的情况下就能起到明显的增稠效果.  相似文献

A novel approach to synthesize narrow particle size distribution cationic latex particles based on styrene and butyl acrylate was proposed. The effect of monomer/water ratios, surfactant (cetyltrimethylammonium chloride) concentrations, and monomer compositions on the evolution of particle size, distribution, number, and morphology as a function of monomer conversion was concerned in order to confirm the optimum polymerization condition. As expected, the particle size of the ultima latex increased with monomer/water ratios and styrene contents decreased with increasing surfactant concentrations. Continuous nucleation phenomena occurred when monomer/water ratio was lesser than 30/70, resulting in a gradual increase in the number of particles in the whole polymerization process. Combined with the previous work (Colloid and Polymer Science, 2014, 292: 519–525), it was concluded that particle coagulation easily took place in cationic emulsion polymerization of styrene. Thus, the narrow particle size distribution cationic latexes with particle scale between 50 nm and 80 nm, 30 wt% solid content could be prepared in a short reaction time.  相似文献

Cationic fluorinated polyacrylate soap-free latex (CFMBD) was synthesized by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization of dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate (DFMA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), butyl acrylate (BA), and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DM) with a novel cationic polymerizable emulsifier, maleic acid double ester-octadecyl poly(ethyleneoxy)20 ether-ethylene trimethyl ammonium chloride (R303), and 2,2′- azobis (2 - methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride (VA-50) was utilized as the initiator. Effects of some factors, such as VA-50 amount, R303 amount and DFMA amount, on stability and average particle size of the CFMBD were discussed in detail, and the optimal polymerization condition was obtained. In addition, the emulsion and its film were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometry, thermogravimetry analysis (TGA), contact angle goniometer, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), respectively. FTIR confirmed the structure of the CFMBD. With the increasing of DFMA amount, water absorption of the film decreased and water contact angle of the film increased. While the DFMA amount was more than 6 g in the recipe, the water contact angle (107.5°) and the water absorption (7.8 wt%) of the film showed no more changes. Meanwhile, thermal stability of the copolymer was greatly improved with the increasing of DFMA amount. XPS analysis indicated the fluoroalkyl groups had the tendency to enrich at the film-air interface.  相似文献

The emulsifier-free core–shell interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) fluorinated polyacrylate latex particles with fluorine rich in shell were prepared by emulsifier-free seeded emulsion polymerization with water as the reaction medium. The fluorinated copolymer could be fixed on the particle surface due to the formation of interpenetrating polymer network. The resultant core–shell particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS) analysis, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The core–shell particles possessed very narrow monomodal particle size distributions. XPS analysis of the latex film displayed that perfluoroalkyl groups had the tendency to enrich at surface and there was a gradient concentration of fluorine in the structure of the latex film from the film–air interface to the film–glass interface. In addition, compared with the latex film of crosslinked polyacrylate prepared under the same condition, the emulsifier-free core–shell IPN-fluorinated polyacrylate latex film showed better thermal stability, higher contact angle and lower water uptake.  相似文献

The novel cationic polyacrylate latex containing fluorine silicon was successfully prepared via soap-free emulsion polymerization of butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, vinyltriethoxysilane and hexafluorobutylmethacrylate in water phase, which were initiated with water soluble azo initiator and emulsified with the mixed surfactants polymerizable emulsifier and OP-10. The films of the resultant latex were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and contact angle (CA) determinator, respectively. In comparison with the conventional polyacrylate latex, the thermal stability and water resistance of novel latex film are improved. The conditions of preparing the novel cationic acrylate latexes were optimized. The optimum conditions of preparing the novel latex are as follows: the amount of emulsifiers and the initiator are 6.0% and0.3%, respectively; both the amount of VETS and amount of HFMA are 6.0%. In this case, the conversion is high and the polymerization stability is good.  相似文献

A kind of emulsifier-free latex (FL) was successfully synthesized from styrene (St) and butyl acrylate (BA) with 2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid (AMPS) as a reactive emulsifier. The particle size of latex particles, stability against electrolytes, minimum film forming temperature (MFT) and water contact angle (CA) were evaluated and compared with a conventional latex (CL). Test results show that FL has larger particle size, better stability against electrolytes and lower MFT value compared with CL; higher AMPS content leads to smaller particle size and smaller water CA.  相似文献

采用XPS和界面张力仪分别测定了含氟丙烯酸酯聚合物乳胶膜表面的组成及水在其表面的动态接触角, 并用状态逼近方程模型计算了含氟聚合物乳胶膜的表面张力, 考察了温度对乳胶膜润湿性的影响. 结果表明, 含氟聚合物乳胶膜表层较深处的F 1s信号强度比近表面要弱, 乳胶膜表面张力随表面氟原子浓度增加在一定程度上呈现线性下降;含氟侧链(Rf)较长(碳原子数n>6)的含氟聚合物, 其表面张力随Rf单元含量增加而下降的趋势显著高于Rf较短(n≤6)的含氟聚合物, 而水在含氟聚合物乳胶膜表面上的后退接触角θr随n增大出现急剧上升, n≥10 时, θr值几乎恒定不再随n增大而改变. 此外, 参与共聚的非氟丙烯酸酯酯基碳链较短时, 水在共聚物乳胶膜表面的θr随氟单元含量增加而增加的趋势更显著;温度超过40 ℃后, 水对聚合物乳胶膜的润湿性随温度上升略有改善.  相似文献

A core–shell fluorine‐containing polyacrylate emulsion was successfully prepared by UV‐initiated seeded emulsion polymerization in two stages in the presence of two photoinitiators. The water‐soluble photoinitiator for the core polymerization and the oil‐soluble photoinitiator was used for the shell polymerization. Both of the two stage polymerizations could be completed within 15 min and displayed a conversion above 94%. The emulsion and the films were characterized by Fourier transformed infrared spectrometry, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), contact angle (CA), and thermogravimetry analysis, respectively. The analysis results indicated that the fluorine‐containing latex particles had very small particle size (40 nm) with a core–shell structure and a narrow particle size distribution. XPS analysis revealed that a gradient concentration of fluorine excited in fluorine‐containing emulsion film from the film–air interface to the film–glass interface. In addition, the film formed from the fluorine‐containing emulsion exhibited not only higher thermal stability but also better hydrophobicity than that of the fluorine‐free emulsion. Silicone-acrylate copolymer latex was prepared through three different polymerization processes, i.e., the batch process, preemulsified monomer addition and the monomer addition process. The results revealed that the monomer addition process is a desirable approach to produce narrow particle size distribution latex with higher polymerization conversion and less amount of coagulum. The effect of silicone content on the glossiness and water absorption of latex film was investigated and the results showed that the glossiness of latex film is improved up to a silicone content of 10% of total monomers, but becomes impaired thereafter, whereas water absorption is reduced accordingly.  相似文献

以偶氮二异丙基脒盐酸盐(V50)为引发剂,采用4-乙烯吡啶(4-VP)/丙烯酸丁酯(BA)为混合单体,分别以二乙烯苯(DVB)或双甲基丙烯酸乙二醇酯(EGDMA)为交联剂,用无皂乳液聚合的方法合成了一系列正电性共聚乳液,并用扫描电镜(SEM)、Zeta电位测定仪详细研究了单体配比、交联剂种类和交联度对粒径大小及其分布、粒子形态和乳液电性能的影响,并探讨了该三元无皂乳液聚合的成核机理。结果表明:4VP/BA的无皂乳液聚合遵循均相成核机理。当BA含量低或者微球交联度较小时,高分子亲水性强,临界链长度大,生成粒子数目少,所以粒径大;随着BA含量的增加或者交联度的增大,高分子疏水性增强,临界链长度沽小,生成粒子数目增多,粒径变小,当BA/4VP=1/4(g/g)时,得到单分散共聚乳胶,少量BA与4VP共聚可以明显提高乳液的稳定性。  相似文献

借助JC2000A静态接触角测量仪和XPS对所制备的自交联含氟乳液涂膜进行表征及分析, 分别利用实验法和基团贡献法计算涂膜的表面自由能, 探讨含氟侧链在自交联含氟乳胶膜的排列. 结果表明, 增加含氟单体的用量, 可以降低含氟聚合物涂膜的表面自由能, 但当含氟单体用量超过20.3%时, 涂膜的表面自由能的变化不大, 含氟乳胶膜具有良好的自我恢复性能. 进一步的研究结果表明, 含氟聚合物乳液成膜后含氟侧链在涂膜表面的排列是一种无规则排列.  相似文献

Monodisperse cationic thermosensitive latex microgels have been prepared by radical-initiated precipitation polymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide, methylene bisacrylamide using 2,2′-azobis(2-amidinopropane hydrochloride) as an initiator and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) as a cationic monomer. The final microgel latexes were characterized with respect to water-soluble polymer formation, particle size and size distribution. Adding cationic monomer (DMAEMA) was found to drastically affect the particle size, but not the size distribution as observed both by transmission electron microscopy and quasielastic light scattering (QELS). However, too high a DMAEMA concentration in the feed composition led to enhanced formation of water-soluble polymer. The volume phase-transition temperature of cleaned microgels examined by QELS (particle size versus temperature) was found to be around 32 °C and was slightly dependent on the concentration of the cationic monomer. The volume phase-transition temperature range becomes broader with increasing cationic monomer concentration. Cationic poly(styrene-co-N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) (P(St-co-DMAEMA)) latexes were prepared in the absence of surfactant by using 2,2’ -azobis (2-methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride (AIBA) as the initiator. The effects of the AIBA concentration, HCl/DMAEMA molar ratio and DMAEMA amount on the emulsion polymerization and the latex properties were investigated. The particle morphology and size, the zeta potential and the amino distribution of the P(St-co-DMAEMA) latexes were characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS) and conductometric titration, respectively. Results showed that the emulsion polymerization performed smoothly with high monomer conversion and narrow particle size distribution under the optimized conditions with AIBA concentration of 1 wt%, HCl/DMAEMA molar ratio of 1.2 and DMAEMA content of 5 wt%. The diameter of the dried latex particles decreased and the density of amino groups on the particle surfaces increased with increasing the DMAEMA content. The zeta potential of the P(St-co-DMAEMA) latexes was pH-dependent and the zero point was around at pH 7.2. A facile method was developed to fabricate P(St-co-DMAEMA)/laponite hybrid nanoparticles via electrostatic adsorption, in which the loading capacity of laponite platelets reached 17.7 wt%, and the resultant hybrid nanoparticles showed good thermal stability.  相似文献

以St-MMA-AA三元无皂共聚胶粒作载体,用物理吸附和共价偶联两方法固载日本血吸虫虫卵可溶性抗原(Sj-SEA)。探讨了胶粒性质对Sj-SEA固载量及活性的影响,研究结果表明,胶粒表面疏水性强或胶乳表面张力大,则物理吸附量大,但致敏胶乳的效价并不一定高;胶粒表面羧基密度大,共价偶联量多,但共价偶联量太大时,致敏乳效价低;在共价偶联量较小时,致敏胶乳的效价随固载的Si-SEA密度增大而提高。  相似文献
