We theoretically introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled resources, i.e., coherent photon-added two-mode squeezed thermal states (CPA-TMSTS), by successively performing coherent photon addition operation to the two-mode squeezed thermal states. The normalization factor related to bivariate Hermite polynomials is obtained. Based upon it, the nonclassicality and decoherence process are analyzed by virtue of the Wigner function. It is shown that the coherent photon addition operation is an effective way in generating partial negative values of Wigner function, which clearly manifests the nonclassicality and non-Gaussianity of the target states. Additionally, the fidelity in teleporting coherent states using CPA-TMSTS as entangled resource is quantified both analytically and numerically. It is found that the CPA-TMSTS is an entangled resource of high-efficiency and high-fidelity in quantum teleportation.  相似文献

We introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled state, which can be obtained by operating a non-local coherent photon-subtraction operation on a two-mode squeezed vacuum. It is found that its normalization factor is only related to the Legendre polynomials, which is a compact expression. Its statistical properties are discussed by the negative region Wigner function with the analytical expression. As an application, the quantum teleportation for coherent states is considered by using the non-Gaussian state as an entangled channel. It is found that the teleportation fidelity can be enhanced by this non-Gaussian operation.  相似文献

基于单-双模组合压缩真空态一定范围内能够获得压缩增强的效果,引入单-双模组合压缩热态(DSMST),讨论其纠缠性质.利用Weyl编序算符在相似变换下的不变性,简洁方便地导出了DSMST的纠缠度-负对数值,并给出了当热效应存在时保持纠缠的条件.研究表明:与通常的双模压缩态相比,随着参数的增加,DSMST的纠缠度增加.作为DSMST的应用,利用其实现相干态的量子隐形传输.结果表明:不同于纠缠度随压缩参数增加,保真度获得改善是有条件的,该条件恰好就是一正交分量涨落出现压缩增强的参数区域.此外,解析推导了有效隐形传输保真度(1/2)的条件.  相似文献

Using the two-mode two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model, entanglement transfer between atoms and field is studied. It is found that when the field is in state constructed from the two-mode photon number states |00〉,|11〉 or the two-mode squeezed vacuum states, full entanglement exchange can be attained no matter the atoms are initially in pure or mixed states. These investigations show that CV entangled states can act as perfectly as the entangled number states in entangling initially separable atoms. The two-mode two-photon atom-field interaction also provides a simple way for the quantum teleportation of atomic or field states.  相似文献

Using the entangled state representation, we convert a two-mode squeezed number state to a Hermite polynomial excited squeezed vacuum state. We first analytically derive the photon number distribution of the two-mode squeezed thermal states. It is found that it is a Jacobi polynomial; a remarkable result. This result can be directly applied to obtaining the photon number distribution of non-Gaussian states generated by subtracting from (adding to) two-mode squeezed thermal states.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the quantum enhanced metrology using two-mode squeezed twin-Fock states and parity detection. Our results indicate that, for a given initial squeezing parameter, compared with the two-mode squeezed vacuum state, both phase sensitivity and resolution can be enhanced when the two-mode squeezed twin-Fock state is considered as an input state of a Mach–Zehnder interferometer. Within a constraint on the total photon number, although the two-mode squeezed vacuum state gives the better phase sensitivity when the phase shift φ to be estimated approaches to zero, the phase sensitivity offered by these non-Gaussian entangled Gaussian states is relatively stable with respect to the phase shift itself. When the phase shift slightly deviates from φ= 0, the phase sensitivity can be still enhanced by the two-mode squeezed twin-Fock state over a broad range of the total mean photon number where the phase uncertainty is still below the quantum standard noise limit. Finally, we numerically prove that the quantum Cramer–Rao bound can be approached with the parity detection.  相似文献

A quantum channel consisting of continuous variable quantum teleportation based on the standard protocol is investigated. It is shown that a quantum channel for continuous variable teleportation by an aribitrary entangled state is equivalent to a generalized thermalizing channel. We also study the transmission of nonclassical states by a teleportation channel with a two-mode squeezed-vacuum state in a noisy environment. The transmisson performance is evaluated by using the Glauber-Sudarshan P function and the nonclassical depth. Finally, we compare the results obtained to those of a noisy direct transmission channel. It is shown that the teleportation channel performs better than the direct transmission channel in a certain region.  相似文献

Starting from the new expression of two-mode squeezing operator in entangled states representation, the normalization factor is obtained, which is directly related to bivariate Hermite polynomials. The sub-Poissonian photon statistics, cross-correlation between two modes, partial negative Wigner function are observed, which fully reflect the nonclassicality of the target states. The negative Wigner function often display non-Gaussian distribution meanwhile. The investigations may provide experimentalists with some better references in quantum engineering.  相似文献

We describe an entanglement purification protocol to generate maximally entangled states with high efficiencies from two-mode squeezed states or from mixed Gaussian continuous entangled states. The protocol relies on a local quantum nondemolition measurement of the total excitation number of several continuous variable entangled pairs. We propose an optical scheme to do this kind of measurement using cavity enhanced cross-Kerr interactions.  相似文献

Quantum teleportation of one- and two-photon superposition states based on EPR entanglement of continuous-wave two-mode squeezed state is discussed. The fidelities of teleportation axe deduced for two different input quantum states. The dependence of the fidelity on the parameters of EPR entanglement and the gain of the classical channels are shown numerically. Comparing with the teleportation of Fock state and coherent state, it is pointed out that for given EPR entanglement and classical gain, the higher the nonclassicality of the input state, the lower the accessible fidelity of teleportation.  相似文献

Using a non-Gaussian operation—photon subtraction from two-mode squeezed thermal state (PS-TMSTS), we construct a kind of entangled state. A Jacobi polynomial is found to be related to the normalization factor. The negativity of Wigner function (WF) is used to discuss its nonclassicality. The investigated entanglement properties turn out that the symmetrical PS-TMSTS may be more effective than the non-symmetric for quantum teleportation. Then the time evolution of WF is used to examine the decoherence effect, which indicates that the characteristic time of single PS-TMSTS depends not only on the average photon number of environment, but also on the average photon number of thermal state and the squeezing parameter.  相似文献

We present a realistic scheme for the entanglement swapping of continuous variable, in which a two-mode squeezed vacuum state serves as a quantum channel. The position sum and momentum difference of two local modes are measured. By taking the input entangled state also as a two-mode squeezed vacuum state, we investigate the average fidelity and the von Neumann entropy of the output state. The results show that the perfect teleportation can be achieved by increasing the squeezing of the quantum channel and that any nonzero squeezing in both the quantum channel and the input entangled state is sufficient to swap the entanglement.  相似文献

We introduce a new method to calculate the Wigner function when its corresponding Husimi function is given. A new formula is derived for calculating conveniently the Wigner function in two-mode entangled state representation. We propose a feasible optical setup allowing for a loophole-free Bell test with efficient homodyne detection. A non-Gaussian entangled state is generated from a two-mode squeezed vacuum by subtracting a single photon from each mode, using beam splitters and standard low-efficiency single-photon detectors. A Bell violation exceeding 1% is achievable with 6 dB squeezed light and a homodyne efficiency around 95%. A detailed feasibility analysis, based upon the recent experimental generation of single-mode non-Gaussian states, suggests that this method opens a promising avenue towards a complete experimental Bell test.  相似文献

Gaussian quantum discord is a measure of quantum correlations in Gaussian systems. Using Gaussian discord, we quantify the quantum correlations of a bipartite entangled state and a separable two-mode mixture of coherent states. We experimentally analyze the effect of noise addition and dissipation on Gaussian discord and show that the former noise degrades the discord, while the latter noise for some states leads to an increase of the discord. In particular, we experimentally demonstrate the near death of discord by noisy evolution and its revival through dissipation.  相似文献
