径向惯性对薄壁圆管中弹塑性复合应力波传播的影响   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
弹塑性压扭复合应力波在薄壁管中的传播特性,已得到较为深入的研究,但为得到简单波解,大部分研究忽略了薄壁圆管中与径向惯性有关的周向应力σθ的影响。该文采用便于动态数值方法应用的增量型弹塑性本构关系,应用有限差分数值方法,计算了考虑径向惯性效应的弹塑性薄壁管中复合应力波的演化规律和传播特性,并与无径向惯性效应的计算结果作了对比,结果表明薄壁管中的径向惯性效应对弹塑性复合应力的传播有较大的影响。  相似文献

材料在复合应力下的拉压或扭转行为常常与单轴拉压或者单轴扭转应力下不同,拉压以及扭转常体现出相互影响的特点。而复合应力下的塑性波可以有效地反映材料在复合应力下的本构行为特点。本文通过对霍普金森压杆进行改造,建立了一套薄壁管预扭冲击拉伸的实验装置,可以在薄壁管内产生拉扭耦合塑性波,并对率相关材料304不锈钢进行了薄壁管预扭拉伸实验研究,得到了该材料的拉扭耦合塑性波。结果表明,304不锈钢薄壁管的拉扭耦合塑性波具有明显的耦合快波和耦合慢波的双波结构,并且快波慢波之间没有恒值区间隔。同时也表明,该装置可以实现预期效果,并且可以有效避免薄壁管屈曲的产生。  相似文献

The propagation of harmonic waves through a system formed of coaxial tubes filled with incompressible continua is considered as a model of arterial pulse propagation in the craniospinal cavity. The inner tube represents a blood vessel and is modelled as a thin-walled membrane shell. The outer tube is assumed to be rigid to account for the constraint imposed on the vessels by the skull and the vertebrae. We consider two models: in the first model the annulus between the tubes is filled with fluid; in the second model the annulus is filled with a viscoelastic solid separated from the tubes by thin layers of fluid. In both models, the elastic tube is filled with fluid. The motion of the fluid is described by the linearized form of the Navier–Stokes equations, and the motion of the solid by classical elasticity theory. The results show that the wave speed in the system is lower than that for a fluid-filled elastic tube free of any constraint. This is due to the stresses generated to satisfy the condition that the volume in the system has to be conserved. However, the effect of the constraint weakens as the radius of the outer tube is increased, and it should be insignificant for the typical physiological parameter range.  相似文献

The stress waves produced by rapid piston deceleration are a fundamental feature of free-piston driven expansion tubes, and wave propagation has to be considered in the design process. For lower enthalpy test conditions, these waves can traverse the tube ahead of critical flow processes, severely interfering with static pressure measurements of the passing flow. This paper details a new device which decouples the driven tube from the free-piston driver, and thus prevents transmission of stress waves. Following successful incorporation of the concept in the smaller X2 facility, it has now been applied to the larger X3 facility, and results for both facilities are presented.  相似文献

The incremental constitutive relation and governing equations with combined stresses for phase transition wave propagation in a thin-walled tube are established based on the phase transition criterion considering both the hydrostatic pressure and the deviatoric stress. It is found that the centers of the initial and subsequent phase transition ellipses are shifted along the σ-axis in the στ-plane due to the tension-compression asymmetry induced by the hydrostatic pressure. The wave solution offers the "fast" and "slow" phase transition waves under combined longitudinal and torsional stresses in the phase transition region. The results show some new stress paths and wave structures in a thin-walled tube with phase transition, differing from those of conventional elastic-plastic materials.  相似文献

Pliable tubes are tubular membranes of low rigidity and may collapse or substantially deform easily. The governing equations of these tubes are nonlinear because the tube shape depends on the internal pressure and the deformation of the tube can be very large. In the present study, a semi-analytical approach for the nonlinear analysis of the fluid-filled thin-walled pliable tubes with different load distributions and boundary conditions is developed. Both geometric and equilibrium relations of the tube element are used to obtain the tube profile in explicit closed form. Several applications of the pliable tubes are considered and the equilibrium shape and wave propagation velocity in these tubes are also obtained. The validity of the present semi-analytical approach is confirmed by comparing the results with those obtained from the literature. It is shown that the present formulation is an appropriate method and a new approach to predict the nonlinear behavior of the pliable tubes with a good accuracy.  相似文献

In the axial tensile failure process of intraply hybrid composites, the breakage of some fibers may lead to interfacial damage, thus directly influencing the local stress concentrations near the sites of breakage. A modified shear-lag model, in which the interfacial damage is considered, is proposed. Based on the model, the influence of interfacial shear strength on the stress concentrations and the lengths of interfacial damage zone is first studied. The present results also provide an important theoretical basis for investigating the failure mechanism and hybrid effects for such kind of composites. 现有的圆柱孔扩张理论已可为诸如石油工程中井筒稳定性鉴定、 及旁压和圆锥贯入实验分析等提供理论依据, 但在非饱和地基压力注浆, 复合地基处理等实际工程问题中却鲜有应用. 基于弹塑性理论和非饱和土力学原理, 采用统一强度理论, 对非饱和土中柱形小孔扩张问题进行了解析研究. 首先将柱孔周围土体分为弹性区和塑性区, 并考虑在弹性区遵循小应变理论, 在塑性区遵循大应变理论, 同时考虑了中间主应力及粒间吸力对非饱和土体强度的影响. 其次应用有效应力表示的统一强度准则, 在本构关系、几何方程、动量平衡方程等基本方程的基础上, 结合相应的边界条件, 最终获得了不同排水条件下柱孔扩张时周围弹塑性区域内的应力场、应变场、位移场及极限扩孔压力的解析表达式. 通过数值算例和参数分析, 在与现有的饱和及非饱和土中柱孔扩张理论进行退化验证的同时, 分析了吸力、剪胀参数、中主应力效应参数及初始径向有效应力等对弹塑性区域内的应力场、应变场及位移场的影响规律, 验证了本文理论的正确性及有效性, 以期为实际工程问题提供合理的理论依据.   相似文献

The generalized self-consistent finite-element iterative averaging method was adopted toanalyze the elasto-plastic tensile properties of SiC whiskers reinforced aluminum matrix composites.The effects of varying fiber's aspect ratio and volume fraction on the macroscopic elasto-plastic defor-mation of the composites were studied.By the analysis of microscopic stress fields,the relation be-tween the propagation of the elasto-plastic region in the matrix and the macroscopic elasto-plastic de-formation of composites was discussed.It was found that the propagation of the plastic region in thematrix between the fiber's ends would affect prominently the elasto-plastic tensile behaviour of thecomposites.It was shown that the characterization of the stress-strain response in terms of the 0.2%offset yield strength is incomplete.  相似文献

The propagation of stress waves in pyramids was studied photoelastically with the application of a laser-photomultiplier tube system and an internal polariscope for recording moving fringes. Dispersion and attenuation of stress waves were considered in a straight bar, a 5-deg pyramid, and a 20-deg pyramid made of Hysol 4290 epoxy plastic. In the straight bar and 5-deg pyramid, longitudinal waves propagate without any dispersion even though the waves attenuate as they progress down the models; in the 20-deg pyramid, however, the dispersion of the stress waves is quite significant. The distributions of the axial and radial stresses and the photoelastic fringe patterns obtained on the 20-deg pyramid show that the stress wave front is spherical with the maximum stress along the central axis of the pyramid. A one-dimensional theory of wave propagation without correction factors in a small-angle infinite cone compares well with the experimental results.  相似文献

采用分离式霍普金森杆实验技术,对表面加工后不同粗糙度的6061铝合金薄壁圆柱管进行动态膨胀断裂冻结回收实验,并对薄壁金属圆柱管动态膨胀断裂过程中裂纹萌生、扩展情况以及最终断裂模式等进行了研究。结果表明:相同冲击压力条件下,薄壁金属圆柱管表面粗糙度越大,材料越容易发生膨胀破裂;裂纹萌生于外壁面,由外向内扩展,并且裂纹的扩展主要受裂纹处应力状态的影响;薄壁金属圆柱管的断裂模式由拉伸和剪切断裂机制起主导作用,其断口为拉剪混合型断口。  相似文献

The effect of the non-linearity of the governing equations on the propagation of waves in fluid filled elastic tubes is investigated. Results are obtained by the method of characteristics for a particular form of pressure pulse applied at the end of a semi-infinite initially uniform tube. An expression is obtained for the distance along the tube at which shock formation is predicted. Two different hyperelastic materials whose elastic properties model those of biological tissue are considered for the tube walls. Numerical results are presented in graphical form.  相似文献

The free vibration of a functionally graded material hollow sphere submerged in a compressible fluid medium is exactly analyzed. The sphere is assumed to be spherically isotropic with material constants being inhomogeneous along the radial direction. By employing a separation technique as well as the spherical harmonics expansion method, the governing equations are simplified to an uncoupled second-order ordinary differential equation, and a coupled system of two such equations. Solutions to these equations are given when the elastic constants and the mass density are power functions of the radial coordinate. Numerical examples are finally given to show the effect of the material gradient on the natural frequencies. Propagating bending waves are studied in three different composite tubes by holographic interferometry. A conical mirror is placed axially inside the tubes. Axial illumination and observation directions make it possible to view the circumference of the tube, with a high sensitivity to radial deformation. It is shown how the deformation field can be numerically evaluated using a phase stepping and unwrapping technique. Transient bending waves in the tubes are both generated and recorded by the same pulsed laser, which makes the experiments easy to perform. Finite element simulations of the impacted tubes are compared to corresponding experiments. Both the geometry and the material properties of the tubes affect the wave propagation. For unidirectional composite tubes, the 0-deg and 90-deg directions have different dynamic behavior. The proposed method could be used in nondestructive testing of tubes.  相似文献

通过对9个薄壁圆钢管再生混凝土短柱和9个薄壁方钢管再生混凝土短柱进行的轴压试验研究,比较了三种方法测定试件轴向变形的差异,分析了不同取代率和不同截面形式薄壁钢管再生混凝土的破坏变形特征,并运用不同设计规程对薄壁钢管再生混凝土的承载力强度进行了计算分析。得出薄壁钢管再生混凝土的变形破坏形式与普通薄壁钢管混凝土相似,及再生混凝土取代率对试件极限承载力和变形能力有一定影响的结论。另外根据计算比较,得到各规程在计算薄壁钢管再生混凝土极限承载力时的适用性。  相似文献

为了改进单管爆炸烧结装置所得成品诸多缺陷,本实验对烧结装置进行双管设计且添加轴芯的方法,以消除聚心滑移爆轰驱动单管压实过程中常伴随的裂纹及马赫孔现象;同时,由于外管在间隙中飞行所实现的聚能效果使碰撞压力较高,且应力波在双管及轴芯之间的传播、反射使其较之于单管情形而言,烧结体更致密、均匀.最后通过对钨、铜、镍、钴混合金属粉末的烧结体进行分析,其相对密度达98.3%;宏观硬度测试结果表明块体沿径向洛氏硬度非常接近,因而可以推知其强度、密度沿径向分布较为均匀.  相似文献

Instability of a thin-walled stainless steel tube with a crack-shaped defect under combined loading is studied in this paper. Furthermore, the effects of the tube length, crack orientation, and crack length on the buckling behavior of tubes are investigated. The behavior of tubes subjected to combined is analyzed by using the finite element method (by Abaqus software). For cracked tubes with a fixed thickness, the buckling load decreases as the tube length and the ratio of the tube length to its diameter increase. Moreover, the buckling load of cracked tubes under combined loading also decreases with increasing crack length.  相似文献
