The influence of iodine on the electrical properties of sandwich structures of magnesium phthalocyanine (Mg Pc) thin films with gold and aluminium electrodes has been investigated. The various electrical properties and different electrical parameters of the iodine-doped Mg Pc thin film devices have been estimated and compared with the values of normal Mg Pc devices from the analysis of the current-voltage characteristics. Generally samples showed an asymmetric conductivity both under forward and reverse bias. From our study we found that iodine doped Mg Pc films showed an enhanced electrical conductivity of nearly ten times that of typical Mg Pc. At low voltages the films showed an ohmic conduction with a hole concentration of P0 = 6.34 × 1018 m−3 and hole mobility μ = 9.16 × 10−5 m 2 V−1 s−1, whereas at higher voltage levels the conduction is dominated by space charged limited conduction (SCLC) with a discrete trapping level of 1.33 × 1022 m−3 at 0.63 eV above the valance band edge. The ratio of the free charges to trapped charges (trapping factor) for the doped samples was found to be 1.07 × 10−7. Furthermore the reverse conduction mechanisms have also been investigated. From the current limitations in the reverse condition a strong rectifying behaviour was evident which was attributed to Poole-Frankel emission with a field-lowering coefficient of value 2.24 × 10−5 eV m1/2 V−1/2.  相似文献

We report our results on the nonlinear optical and optical limiting properties of two alkoxy phthalocyanines namely 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis-(heptyloxy) phthalocyanine and 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis-(heptyloxy) phthalocyanine zinc(II) studied at a wavelength of 532 nm using 6 ns pulses. Using the standard Z-scan technique we observed that both the phthalocyanines exhibited negative nonlinearity as revealed by the signature of closed aperture data. The magnitude of the nonlinear refractive index n2 evaluated from the closed aperture data was ∼ 1.61×10-11 cm2/W for the free-base phthalocyanine and ∼ 1.56×10-11 cm2/W for the metallic phthalocyanine. Open aperture Z-scan data indicates strong nonlinear absorption in both the phthalocyanines with measured nonlinear coefficients of ∼ 1650 cm/GW and ∼ 1850 cm/GW respectively. We also report optical limiting properties of these phthalocyanines with limiting thresholds (I1/2) of ∼ 0.5 J/cm2. Our studies suggest that these phthalocyanines are one of the best molecules for nonlinear optical applications studied recently. PACS 42.65.-k; 42.70.Jk, 42.65.Jx  相似文献

An organic/inorganic heterojunction p-VOPc/n-Si was fabricated and its electrical properties were investigated. Temperature-dependent dark current–voltage (IV) characteristics of the heterojunction exhibited rectification behaviour with a rectification ratio of 405 at ±1 V and room temperature. The current–voltage characteristics of the cell showed ohmic conduction at low voltages followed by a space charge-limited current (SCLC) conduction dominated by an exponential trap distribution at higher voltages. At room temperature, the series and shunt resistances were found to be approximately 1.4 and 100 kΩ, respectively. Diode ideality factor n was found to be 3.2 at room temperature and dropped to 1.9 at 363 K. Room temperature mobility of vanadyl phthalocyanine (VOPc) was extracted from the IV characteristics in the SCLC region and was found approximately 15.5 × 10−3 cm2 V−1 s−1. The effective barrier height, ФB, was estimated as 0.77 eV. The effect of temperature, on various heterojunction parameters was recorded under dark conditions and at temperatures ranging from 300 to 363 K.  相似文献

The self-luminescence emission spectra of several fluorite-structure halides doped with 0.1 cation % 244Cm or 249Bk were measured in the range 14 × 105 to 50 × 105 m-1 (200–700 nm) between 295 and 600 K. The hosts studied included CaF2, SrF2, BaF2, and SrCl2 (for Cm) and BaF2 and SrCl2 (for Bk). The room-temperature spectra of the Cm-doped samples all have relatively sharp peaks at approximately 16.5 × 105 m-1 and broad, asymmetric bands with maxima near 35 × 105 m-1 (fluorides) or 28 × 105 m-1 (SrCl2). The sharp peaks are attributed to the Cm dopant and are stable to at least 600 K, while the broad bands appear to be associated with host anion centers and disappear on sample heating. The room-temperature spectrum of Bk-doped BaF2 also displays an anion- related band at 35 × 105 m-1, while that of Bk-doped SrCl2 has both an anion band at 28 × 105 m-1 and a peak at 19 × 105 m-1 (believed to be an additional host effect). The luminescence intensity of all samples decreased with room-temperature storage, but could be partially restored by annealing.  相似文献

The third-order optical nonlinearity of two sandwich-type phthalocyaninato and porphyrinato europium com- plexes, including double- and triple-deckers (Eu[Pc(OC5H11)8]2, Eu2(Pc)(TPP)2, Pc=phthalocyanine, TPP=5, 10, 15, 20- tetraphenylporphyrinate), was investigated by using the femtosecond time-resolved optical Kerr gate method at 830 nm wavelength. Their second-order hyperpolarizability is estimated to be 0.74× 10^-30esu and 3.0× 10^-3esu respectively. This exhibits an evident enhancement in comparison with 0.47×10^-30esu for one-decker Eu(Pc)(acac) (acac=acetylacetonate), which is also measured under the same conditions. The enhancement is attributed to the introduction of lanthanide metal to the large π-conjugated system, intermacrocycle interaction and two-photon resonance etc.  相似文献

用溶胶-凝胶法制备1.0%mol Mn,Cr,Co掺杂 BaTiO3(BTO)粉体,在1350℃下烧结成多晶陶瓷样品.X射线衍射和差示扫描量热分析表明,室温下掺杂BaTiO3具有四方钙钛矿结构;居里点和相变潜热随Cr,Mn,Co掺杂逐渐降低.将掺杂BaTiO3与Tb1-xDyxFe2-y(TDF)胶合制成双层磁电复合材料,并研究了Cr:BTO-TDF,Mn∶BTO-TDF,Co:BTO-TDF层状复合材料中的磁电效应.实验表明,在340×80 A·m-1偏置磁场下, Cr:BTO-TDF的横向磁电电压系数达到最大值586 mV·cm-1·(80 A·m-1)-1.在400×80 A·m-1偏置磁场下,Mn∶BTO-TDF和Co:BTO-TDF的横向磁电电压系数的最大值分别为480 mV·cm-1·(80 A·m-1)-1和445mV·cm-1·(80 A·m-1)-1.研究表明掺杂BaTiO3-TDF层状复合材料中具有较强的磁电耦合.作为无铅压电材料,掺杂BaTiO3制备的磁电效应器件颇具应用前景. 关键词: 磁电效应 双层复合材料 3')" href="#">掺杂BaTiO3 1-xDyxFe2-y')" href="#">Tb1-xDyxFe2-y  相似文献

The dark electrical conductivity of β-metal free phthalocyanine single crystals has been investigated over the temperature range 273–600°K, at a reduced pressure of 10?7 torr. The results obtained are in accordance with the model proposed by Barbe and Westgate[5] for this material, in which the energy gap between the top of the valence band and the bottom of the conduction band is determined to be 2·00 eV. At temperatures below about 410°K, the conduction process is consistent with the presence of an electron trapping level located 0·32 eV below the conduction band edge, with a density of 7×1016 cm?3, and a donor level of density 2×107 cm?3 at the same energy. Above about 410°K, there is evidence to suggest that the conduction process is intrinsic.  相似文献

The inhibition effect of metal-free phthalocyanine (H2Pc), copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) and copper phthalocyanine tetrasulfuric tetrasodium salt (CuPc·S4·Na4) on mild steel in 1 mol/l HCl in the concentration range of 1.0 × 10−5 to 1.0 × 10−3 mol/l was investigated by electrochemical test, scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM/EDS) and quantum chemical method. The potentiodynamic polarization curves of mild steel in hydrochloric acid containing these compounds showed both cathodic and anodic processes of steel corrosion were suppressed, and the Nyquist plots of impedance expressed mainly as a capacitive loop with different compounds and concentrations. For all these phthalocyanines, the inhibition efficiency increased with the increase in inhibitor concentration, while the inhibition efficiencies for these three phthalocyanines with the same concentration decreased in the order of CuPc·S4·Na4 > CuPc > H2Pc according to the electrochemical measurement results. The SEM/EDS analysis indicated that there are more lightly corroded and oxidative steel surface for the specimens after immersion in acid solution containing 1.0 × 10−3 mol/l phthalocyanines than that in blank. The quantum chemical calculation results showed that the inhibition efficiency of these phthalocyanines increased with decrease in molecule's LUMO energy, which was different from the micro-cyclic compounds.  相似文献

The transition probabilities of two Ar(I) lines and one Ar(II) line have been measured in emission on wall-stabilized argon arc plasmas (0·5×105?p, Nm-2?3×105; 10,000?T, K?20,000; 1022?Ne, m-3?5×1023) using the “method of best fit (MBF)”. The results (without line-wing correction) are for Ar(I) at 714·7 nm, Anm=5·66×105 s-1±5%; for Ar(I) at 430·0 nm, Anm=3·40×105 s-1±5%; for Ar(II) at 480·6 nm, Anm=8·82×107 s-1±7%. These values were not influenced by deviations from LTE, which have been observed at electron number densities ne?1023 m-3. The small uncertainties were achieved after careful corrections of different sources of error.  相似文献

将生长得到的Cd0.9Zn0.1Te晶体在Cd气氛下及不同的温度条件下进行了退火处理. 借助已建立的退火处理过程中Cd1-xZnxTe晶体材料电阻率及导电类型变化和扩散杂质的扩散系数之间关系的模型,结合实验数据,获得了1073K,973K和873K下Cd在Cd0.9Zn0.1Te晶体中的扩散系数,并估算了其激活能. 通过使用获得的扩散系数,研究了在不同温度及饱和Cd气氛下,退火时间对Cd0.9Zn0.1Te晶体电阻率分布及导电类型等的变化的影响.  相似文献

We report identical double fluorescence lifetimes of τ = 3·7 and 6·3 ns for the 0-0 fluorescences of each of the two tautomeric species of metal-free phthalocyanine (H2Pc) in a mixed solvent matrix of α-chloronaphthalene and n-octane at 4·2K. Such double lifetime feature has not been reported previously for this molecule nor, to our knowledge, for any of the related phthalocyanines and porphyrins.  相似文献

The electrical properties of flexible organic-inorganic bistable devices fabricated with aluminum (Al) sandwiched between tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq3) and zinc selenide (ZnSe) layers were investigated. Current–voltage (I–V) measurements were conducted under conditions before, during, and after bending while changing the bending distance of the base plastic polyethylene terephthalate (PET) systematically. The maximum ON/OFF current ratios of the flexible bistable devices at flat and bent conditions were approximately 2.7×104 and 1.9×104, respectively. The conduction mechanisms in both ON and OFF states were analyzed by a theoretical model.  相似文献

Thin films of 4-tricyanovinyl-N,N-diethylaniline (TCVA) with different thickness were prepared using thermal evaporation technique. A relative permittivity, ?r, of 3.04 was estimated from the dependence of capacitance on film thickness. The current density-voltage (J-V) characteristics of TCVA thin films have been investigated at different temperatures. At low-voltage region, the current conduction in the Au/TCVA/Au sandwich structures obeys Ohm's law. At the higher-voltage regions, the charge transport phenomenon appears to be space-charge-limited current (SCLC) dominated by an exponential distribution of traps with total trap concentration of 1.21 × 1022 m−3. A large number of individual single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) were obtained by dilution of nanotube dispersions in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). Up to 70% individual SWNTs are contained in the NMP dispersions with concentrations of less than 4.0×10-3 mg/mL. The nonlinear optical and optical limiting properties of SWNT dispersions were studied by using the Z-scan technique at 532 nm. As the concentration of SWNTs is increased, the nonlinear extinction (NLE) and optical limiting effects improve significantly, while the limiting thresholds decrease gradually. The individual SWNTs show similar NLE effect to zinc phthalocyanine nanoparticles, while also exhibiting larger NLE coefficients than Mo6S4.5I4.5 nanowires.  相似文献

The electric quadrupole moments of carbon dioxide and carbon disulphide have been measured through the birefringence induced in gaseous samples over a range of temperature. The value for CO2, Θ = (-14·98 ± 0·50) × 10-40 C m2, is consistent with earlier measurements, showing that the temperature-independent hyperpolarizability contribution to the birefringence is insignificant. For CS2, Θ = (+12·0 ± 0·6) × 10-40 C m2. The positive sign reflects the increased importance of the π electron contribution to Θ in CS2.  相似文献

本文研究了Lisicon(锗酸锌锂)单晶的Li+离子电导率。发现各结晶学方向电导率之间的关系为σb≤σa≤σc≤σ[110],但各向异性不强。晶体中Li含量对电导率有明显的影响,当Li/Zn比率由6.7变到9.2时,300℃a方向电导率由4.3×10-2Ω-1·cm-1增加到1.25×10-1Ω-1·cm-1,logσT对1/T的曲线显示出三个转变点,分别在~80℃,~140℃和~300℃。电导的激活能分别为0.50—0.58eV(25—80℃),0.92eV(~80—140℃),0.64eV(~140—300℃)和0.36eV(>300℃),极化实验表明单晶的电子电导可以忽略。 关键词:  相似文献

Three novel tri-dimensional phthalocyanine polymers, with lanthanum (LaPPc), gadolinium (GdPPc) and ytterbium (YbPPc) as centric atoms, have been synthesized from a tetranuclear phthalonitrile. Third-order optical nonlinearities of these compounds in DMF solution are measured by a picosecond Z-sacn technique at 532 nm. It is found that all the compounds show reverse saturation absorption and nonlinear self-focus refraction effect. The second-order molecular hyperpolarizabilities are calculated to be 1.82×10^-23, 1.48×10^-23 and 1.45×10^-23 esu for LaPPc, GdPPc and YbPPc, respectively. The differences among their nonlinear optical properties are attributed to the special tri-dimensional structure and the variation in rare earth atoms.  相似文献

Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3:Eu ferroelectric films were deposited on quartz substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The linear absorption coefficient and the linear refractive index calculated from the transmission spectrum at 532 nm were found to be 1.67×104 cm?1 and 1.82 respectively. The room temperature photoluminescence shows the characteristic emission of Eu3+ ions. The nonlinear optical properties of the film were investigated by a single beam Z-scan setup. The negative nonlinear refractive index and two photon absorption coefficient was found to be ?1.508×10?6 m2/GW and 240 m/GW respectively. The real and imaginary part of the third order susceptibility of the thin films is 2.58×10?17 m2/V2 and 1.16×10?16 m2/V2 respectively. The BST:Eu thin films show good optical limiting property.  相似文献

We report the successful growth of an electroholographic crystal, potassium sodium tantalate niobate (KNTN), by a top-seeded solution growth method. Both blue and colorless crystals were obtained. The structure, optical absorption, and refractive dispersion properties of the as-grown crystals have been investigated. Furthermore, the Kerr coefficients R11 and R12 of paraelectric K0.95Na0.05Ta0.61Nb0.39O3 single crystal were determined by using an automated scanning Mach–Zehnder interferometer. The crystal has large Kerr coefficients with R11= 2.8×10-16 m2/V2 and R12= -0.3×10-16 m2/V2 at the wavelength of 632.8 nm near its cubic–tetragonal phase boundary. PACS 81.10.Dn; 42.70.Nq  相似文献
