We present a theoretical model to analyse the propagation of a Gaussian laser beam through double-sided nonlinear media. This model is based on the Huygens--Fresnel diffraction integral method. This theoretical model is not only consistent with the cascade structure model for a small nonlinear phase-shift but also can be used for a large nonlinear phase-shift. It has been verified that it is suitable to characterize the double-sided nonlinear media compared with the cascade structure model. A good agreement between the experimental data and the results from the theoretical model is obtained. It will be useful for the design of multi-sided nonlinear materials.  相似文献

主要研究在波长间隔50GHz的密集波分复用系统中,112Gbit/s偏分复用差分四相移键控信号在不同速率的相邻信道影响下经过长距离传输后的非线性容忍度。实验结果表明,112Gbit/s信号结合43Gbit/s信号或者10Gbit/s信号传输时系统得到较好的非线性容忍度,验证了在严重的非线性效应存在的情况下同步传输系统的可行性。  相似文献

A simple self-consistent mean-field theory is used to study the nonlinear composites consisting of linear and strongly nonlinear materials or strongly nonlinear materials with different nonlinear exponents. The effective nonlinear response obtained is compared with simulation data. Good agreement is found. Meanwhile, we study the effect of granular shapes (depolarization factor g) in different external applied fields on the nonlinear response of nonlinear random composites. It is found that the factor g affects the effective nonlinear response greatly in certain conditions.  相似文献

相移控制能有效的避免孤子间的相互作用.通过利用符号计算和双线性方法,本文解析研究用于描述色散渐变光纤传输特点的非线性Schr?dinger方程,并得到该方程的双孤子解.基于所得到的双孤子解,通过研究发现,当色散渐变光纤中的群速度色散呈Gauss型变化时,可以利用该类光纤实现孤子相移控制,从而避免孤子相互作用,提高光通信系统中信号传输质量.此外,本文还将讨论色散渐变光纤中各类参数对相移控制的影响.本文结论还有助于逻辑门和全光开光的研究.  相似文献

In this paper, by using the parity operator as well as the nonlinear displacement-type operator, we define new operators which by the action of them on the vacuum state of the radiation field, superposition of two nonlinear coherent states and two-mode entangled nonlinear coherent states are generated. Also, we show that via the generalization of the presented method, the superposition of more than two nonlinear coherent states and n-mode entangled nonlinear coherent states can be generated.  相似文献

A perturbative approach is used to study the AC response of nonlinear compostie media,which obey a current-field relation of the form J=σE χ|E|^2E with comp[onents having nonlinear response at finite frequencies.For a sinusoidal applied field,we extend the local potential in terms of sinusoidal components at fundamental frequency and high-order harmonic frequencies to treat the nonlinear comosites.For nonlinear composite media with a low concentrations of spherical inclusions,we give the formulae of the nonlinear effective AC susceptibility χ3ω at the third harmonic frequency.  相似文献

We have demonstrated nonlinear cross-phase modulation in electro-optic crystals using intense, single-cycle terahertz (THz) radiation. Individual THz pulses, generated by coherent transition radiation emitted by subpicosecond electron bunches, have peak energies of up to 100 microJ per pulse. The time-dependent electric field of the intense THz pulses induces cross-phase modulation in electro-optic crystals through the Pockels effect, leading to spectral shifting, broadening, and modulation of copropagating laser pulses. The observed THz-induced cross-phase modulation agrees well with a time-dependent phase-shift model.  相似文献

引入基于对非线性动力学局部线性拟合的局部投影非线性降噪方法对Spragure-Dawley大鼠的皮层脑电进行降噪.为了提高降噪效果,利用返回图法对皮层脑电降噪时所需要的最佳局部邻域尺度进行了估计.首先以被50%的高斯白噪声污染的Lorenz方程x轴为例进行降噪,说明根据降噪理论所编写的计算程序的正确性.然后将此降噪方法分别应用于被麻醉的大鼠的皮层脑电和青霉素溶液诱发癫痫发作的皮层脑电时间序列,并采用非线性预报分析说明降噪的效果. 关键词: 皮层脑电 返回图法 非线性降噪 非线性预报  相似文献

在线性光学范畴内,人们已经通过亚波长尺度的超薄超构表面成功实现了对光的众多新颖特性的调控功能.其主要理念是通过对具有亚波长尺度且空间方向变化的超构功能基元进行特定的排列,从而实现对光的偏振、相位和振幅的有效控制.近来,超构表面上的非线性光学特性也引起了大家的广泛关注.在本综述中,我们对非线性光学超构表面的设计、超构功能单元的材料和对称性选择、非线性手性光学、非线性贝里几何相位和非线性波前整形等内容进行了总结;最后对非线性光学超构表面在调控光与物质的相互作用中面临的挑战和前景进行了展望.  相似文献

The bandwidth and the duration of incident pulsed beam are proved to play important roles in modifying the nonlinear image of amplitude-type scatterer.It is found that the initially positive chirp-type bandwidth can suppress the nonlinear image,while the negative one can enhance it,and that both effects are inversely proportional to the incident pulse duration.Numerical simulations further demonstrate that the location of nonlinear image is at the conjugate plane of the scatterer and that,for negatively pre-chirped pulsed beam,the nonlinear image peak intensity can be higher than that in the corresponding monochromatic case under certain conditions.Moreover the effect of group velocity dispersion on nonlinear image is found to be similar to that of chirp-type bandwidth.  相似文献

Under alternating current electric field, effective response of granular nonlinear composites with spherical coated inclusions is investigated in the dilute limit by using the perturbation approach. For an external sinusoidal applied field with finite frequency ω, the local fields and potentials of composites in general consist of components at all harmonics for cubic nonlinear constitutive relationships. We derive the local potentials of spherical coated composites at harmonics. Moreover, we give the formulae of the nonlinear effective AC susceptibility at the third harmonic frequency.  相似文献

利用琼斯矩阵理论,研究了基于偏振移相技术的激光干涉仪中1/4波片和1/2波片的非理想因素导致非线性误差的产生机理和变化规律.理论研究表明:在导致波片处于非理想状态的各个因素中,干涉仪中两个1/4波片的差模延迟角误差Δεq所产生的恒定偏置误差和接收装置中1/4波片的延迟角误差εq3所引起的一次谐波非线性误差,是组成干涉仪非线性误差的最主要的两个部分;波片各种误差源非理想因素导致的非线性误差在小误差情况下经线性叠加后由干涉仪最终输出.  相似文献

介绍了一种新型基于相空间重构和返回图法的非线性降噪方法——搜索平均法,首先将该方法应用于被高斯白噪声所污染的Henon映射时间序列,说明根据降噪理论所编写的计算程序的正确性;然后应用于中国气象局公布全国435站1960—2000年的逐日气温观测时间序列,并利用非线性预报方法衡量降噪的效果,验证了该方法的有效性.  相似文献

Unique dispersion characteristics and enhanced nonlinearity make the small-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) an ideal candidate for nonlinear optical devices to telecommunication applications. Some technical reasons behind great research interest of highly nonlinear PCFs in optical communication components are reviewed. Nonlinear effects in highly nonlinear PCFs and their research progress are presented. Several typical applications including WDM sources, optical amplification, optical switching, wavelength conversion, optical regeneration and all-optical demultiplexing etc are introduced, together with state-of-the art performances. Nonlinear coupled-mode equations governing the modal coupling of a two-mode coupled system (such as twin core couplers) are integrable; power swapping in such a system follows a periodical manner and can be expressed analytically. When three or more modes (for systems such as multiple-core couplers) are involved, the nonlinear coupled-mode equations are no longer integrable and chaotic power swapping is expected. A numerical approach is required, in general, to solve such nonlinear coupled systems involving the coupling of three or more modes. We find, however, that for certain structural configurations, such as triple-core couplers with the cores arranged in the shape of an isosceles triangle, the nonlinear coupled-mode equations for multiple-core couplers can be solved analytically under a resonant condition. The analytical solution indicates that power swapping among, for example, the three cores placed in the shape of an isosceles triangle can be aperiodic at high power, although power may flow from core to core periodically at low power.  相似文献

 在40 Gbit/s相干偏振复用正交相移键控(QPSK)传输系统中,为了补偿由于光纤中非线性效应引起的传输信号损伤,采用了基于Manakov方程的反向传播非线性补偿算法.传统的基于标量非线性薛定谔方程(NLSE)的反向传播算法忽略了偏振模色散(PMD)的作用,因此在偏振复用系统中不能补偿由于PMD引起的信号损伤|而基于Manakov方程的数字信号处理方法能够对PMD与克尔非线性效应的耦合作用进行补偿.从仿真与实验两个方面对此方法在40 Gbit/s相干偏振复用QPSK传输系统中的补偿效果进行了验证.结果均表明,与NLSE相比,基于Manakov方程的反向传播算法在400 km长距离QPSK传输中显示出更好的性能.在光信噪比(OSNR)为18 dB时,基于Manakov方程的反向传播算法得到的Q值与NLSE相比提高约3dB.  相似文献

We introduce the three-mode nonlinear Bogoliubov transformations based on the work of Siena et al. (Phys. Rev. A 64:063803, 2001) and Ying Wu (Phys. Rev. A 66:025801, 2002) about nonlinear Bogoliubov transformations. We show that three-mode nonlinear Bogoliubov transformations can be constructed by the combination of two unitary transformations, a coordinate-dependent displacement followed by the standard squeezed transformation. Such decomposition turns all the nonlinear canonic coordinate-dependent Bogoliubov transformations into essentially linear problems as we shall prove and hence greatly facilitate calculations of the properties and the quantities related to the nonlinear transformations.  相似文献
