带非局部源的退化半线性抛物方程的解的爆破性质   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper deals with the blow-up properties of the positive solutions to the nonlocal degenerate semilinear parabolic equation u t − (x a u x ) x =∫ 0 a f(u)dx in (0,a) × (0,T) under homogeneous Dirichlet conditions. The local existence and uniqueness of classical solution are established. Under appropriate hypotheses, the global existence and blow-up in finite time of positve solutions are obtained. It is also proved that the blow-up set is almost the whole domain. This differs from the local case. Furthermore, the blow-up rate is precisely determined for the special case: f(u)=u p , p>1.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the global existence, uniqueness and L estimates of weak solutions to quasilinear parabolic equation of m-Laplacian type u t − div(|∇u| m−2u) = u|u| β−1Ω |u| α dx in Ω × (0,∞) with zero Dirichlet boundary condition in tdΩ. Further, we obtain the L estimate of the solution u(t) and ∇u(t) for t > 0 with the initial data u 0L q (Ω) (q > 1), and the case α + β < m − 1.  相似文献

This paper considers the existence and large time behavior of solutions to the convection-diffusion equation u t −Δu+b(x)·∇(u|u| q −1)=f(x, t) in ℝ n ×[0,∞), where f(x, t) is slowly decaying and q≥1+1/n (or in some particular cases q≥1). The initial condition u 0 is supposed to be in an appropriate L p space. Uniform and nonuniform decay of the solutions will be established depending on the data and the forcing term. This work is partially supported by an AMO Grant  相似文献

The equationx (n)(t)=(−1) n x(t) k withk>1 is considered. In the casen≦4 it is proved that solutions defined in a neighbourhood of infinity coincide withC(t−t0)−n/(k−1), whereC is a constant depending only onn andk. In the general case such solutions are Kneser solutions and can be estimated from above and below by a constant times (t−t 0)−n/(k−1). It is shown that they do not necessarily coincide withC(t−t0)−n/(k−1). This gives a negative answer to two conjectures posed by Kiguradze that Kneser solutions are determined by their value in a point and that blow-up solutions have prescribed asymptotics. We consider the fast diffusion equation (FDE) u t = Δu m (0 < m < 1) on a nonparabolic Riemannian manifold M. Existence of weak solutions holds. Then we show that the validity of Euclidean–type Sobolev inequalities implies that certain L p L q smoothing effects of the type ∥u(t)∥ q Ct −αu 0γ p , the case q = ∞ being included. The converse holds if m is sufficiently close to one. We then consider the case in which the manifold has the addition gap property min σ(−Δ) > 0. In that case solutions vanish in finite time, and we estimate from below and from above the extinction time.   相似文献

We study the existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic behavior of blow-up solutions for a general quasilinear elliptic equation of the type −Δ p u = a(x)u m b(x)f(u) with p >  1 and 0 <  mp−1. The main technical tool is a new comparison principle that enables us to extend arguments for semilinear equations to quasilinear ones. Indeed, this paper is an attempt to generalize all available results for the semilinear case with p =  2 to the quasilinear case with p >  1.  相似文献

This article deals with a class of nonlocal and degenerate quasilinear parabolic equation u t = f(u)(Δu + aΩ u(x, t)dx ? u) with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. The local existence of positive classical solutions is proved by using the method of regularization. The global existence of positive solutions and blow-up criteria are also obtained. Furthermore, it is shown that, under certain conditions, the solutions have global blow-up property. When f(s) = s p , 0 < p ≤ 1, the blow-up rate estimates are also obtained.  相似文献

We consider the existence and uniqueness of singular solutions for equations of the formu 1=div(|Du|p−2 Du)-φu), with initial datau(x, 0)=0 forx⇑0. The function ϕ is a nondecreasing real function such that ϕ(0)=0 andp>2. Under a growth condition on ϕ(u) asu→∞, (H1), we prove that for everyc>0 there exists a singular solution such thatu(x, t)→cδ(x) ast→0. This solution is unique and is called a fundamental solution. Under additional conditions, (H2) and (H3), we show the existence of very singular solutions, i.e. singular solutions such that ∫|x|≤r u(x,t)dx→∞ ast→0. Finally, for functions ϕ which behave like a power for largeu we prove that the very singular solution is unique. This is our main result. In the case ϕ(u)=u q, 1≤q, there are fundamental solutions forq<p*=p-1+(p/N) and very singular solutions forp-1<q<p*. These ranges are optimal. Dedicated to Professor Shmuel Agmon  相似文献

IfA=A *≥0 on the real Hilbert spaceH=L 2 (Ω, dμ) withKerA=A −1 ({0})∈0, (I+A)−1 compact andf(u)=c|u| p−1 u withc>0,p>1, the solutions ofu”+u’+Au+f(u)=0 tend to 0 in norm at least liket −1/(p−1) ast→∞. Here it is shown that the set of initial data of those solutions tending to 0 exponentially fast has near 0 the structure of a manifold with codimension dim(Ker A). If, in addition,A=−Δ with Neumann homogeneous boundary conditions, we show that the following alternative holds true: eitheru(t) tends to 0 exponentially fast, or ‖u(t)‖≥γt −1/(p−1) with γ>0 fort≥1.  相似文献

We are interested in stability/instability of the zero steady state of the superlinear parabolic equation u t + Δ2 u = |u| p-1 u in , where the exponent is considered in the “super-Fujita” range p > 1 + 4/n. We determine the corresponding limiting growth at infinity for the initial data giving rise to global bounded solutions. In the supercritical case p > (n + 4)/(n−4) this is related to the asymptotic behaviour of positive steady states, which the authors have recently studied. Moreover, it is shown that the solutions found for the parabolic problem decay to 0 at rate t −1/(p-1).  相似文献

In the paper, we obtain the existence of symmetric or monotone positive solutions and establish a corresponding iterative scheme for the equation (ϕ p (u′))′+q(t)f(u) = 0, 0 < t < 1, where ϕ p (s):= |s| p−2 s, p > 1, subject to nonlinear boundary condition. The main tool is the monotone iterative technique. Here, the coefficient q(t) may be singular at t = 0; 1.  相似文献

We study the problem of existence of periodic and almost periodic solutions of the scalar equation x′ (t) = − δx(t) + pmax u∈[th, t] x(u) + f(t) where δ, pR, with a periodic (almost periodic) perturbation f(t). For these solutions, we establish conditions of global exponential stability and prove uniqueness theorems. We give new finite time blow-up results for the non-linear parabolic equations ut−Δu = up and ut−Δu+μ∣∇uq = up. We first establish an a priori bound in Lp+1 for the positive non-decreasing global solutions. As a consequence, we prove in particular that for the second equation on ℝN, with q = 2p/(p+1) and small μ>0, blow-up can occur for any N≥1, p>1, (N−2)p<N+2 and without energy restriction on the initial data. Incidentally, we present a simple model in population dynamics involving this equation.  相似文献

We consider nonnegative solutions of initial-boundary value problems for parabolic equationsu t=uxx, ut=(um)xxand (m>1) forx>0,t>0 with nonlinear boundary conditions−u x=up,−(u m)x=upand forx=0,t>0, wherep>0. The initial function is assumed to be bounded, smooth and to have, in the latter two cases, compact support. We prove that for each problem there exist positive critical valuesp 0,pc(withp 0<pc)such that forp∃(0,p 0],all solutions are global while forp∃(p0,pc] any solutionu≢0 blows up in a finite time and forp>p csmall data solutions exist globally in time while large data solutions are nonglobal. We havep c=2,p c=m+1 andp c=2m for each problem, whilep 0=1,p 0=1/2(m+1) andp 0=2m/(m+1) respectively. We investigate thc close relations existing between certain geometric properties of domains Ω of RN, the validity of Poincark inequalities in Ω, and the behavior of solutions of semilinear parabolic equations. For the equation ut-△u=|u|p-1 we obtain a purely geometric, necessary and sufficient condition on Ω, for the 0 solution to be asymptotically (and exponentially) stable in Lr(ω)1<r<∞ when r is supercritical(r>N(p-1)/2 . The condition is that the inradius of Ω be finite. The result is different for r critical. For the equation ut-△u=up-μ|u|q,q≥p>1,μ>0 we prove that the finiteness of the inradius is a necessary and sufficient condition for global existence and boundedness of all nonnegative solutions.  相似文献

On the Blow-up Criterion of Smooth Solutions to the MHD System in BMO Space   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper we study the blow-up criterion of smooth solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamics system in BMO space. Let (u(x,t),b(x,t)) be smooth solutions in (0, T). It is shown that the solution (u(x, t), b(x, t)) can be extended beyond t = T if (u(x,t), b(x, t)) ∈ L^1 (0, T; BMO) or the vorticity (rot u(x, t), rot b(x, t)) ∈ L^1 (0, T; BMO) or the deformation (Def u(x, t), Def b(x, t)) ∈ L^1 (0, T; BMO).  相似文献

In this paper we consider the boundary blow-up problem Δpua(x)uq in a smooth bounded domain Ω of \mathbbRN{\mathbb{R}}^N, with u = +∞ on ∂Ω. Here Dpu = div(|?u|p-2?u)\Delta_{p}u = {\rm div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u) is the well-known p-Laplacian operator with p > 1, qp − 1, and a(x) is a nonnegative weight function which can be singular on ∂Ω. Our results include existence, uniqueness and exact boundary behavior of positive solutions.  相似文献

Abstract

In this work we analyze the existence of solutions that blow-up in finite time for a reaction–diffusion equation u t  ? Δu = f(x, u) in a smooth domain Ω with nonlinear boundary conditions ?u/?n = g(x, u). We show that, if locally around some point of the boundary, we have f(x, u) = ?βu p , β ≥ 0, and g(x, u) = u q then, blow-up in finite time occurs if 2q > p + 1 or if 2q = p + 1 and β < q. Moreover, if we denote by T b the blow-up time, we show that a proper continuation of the blowing up solutions are pinned to the value infinity for some time interval [T, τ] with T b  ≤ T < τ. On the other hand, for the case f(x, u) = ?βu p , for all x and u, with β > 0 and p > 1, we show that blow-up occurs only on the boundary.  相似文献

The Blow-up Locus of Heat Flows for Harmonic Maps   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
Abstract Let M and N be two compact Riemannian manifolds. Let u k (x, t) be a sequence of strong stationary weak heat flows from M×R + to N with bounded energies. Assume that u ku weakly in H 1, 2(M×R +, N) and that Σt is the blow-up set for a fixed t > 0. In this paper we first prove Σt is an H m−2-rectifiable set for almost all tR +. And then we prove two blow-up formulas for the blow-up set and the limiting map. From the formulas, we can see that if the limiting map u is also a strong stationary weak heat flow, Σt is a distance solution of the (m− 2)-dimensional mean curvature flow [1]. If a smooth heat flow blows-up at a finite time, we derive a tangent map or a weakly quasi-harmonic sphere and a blow-up set ∪t<0Σt× {t}. We prove the blow-up map is stationary if and only if the blow-up locus is a Brakke motion. This work is supported by NSF grant  相似文献
