The purpose of the present paper is to solve an active control problem of nonlinear continuous system parametric vibrations excited by the fluctuating force. The problem is solved using the concept of distributed piezoelectric sensors and actuators with a sufficiently large value of velocity feedback. The direct Liapunov method is proposed to establish criteria for the almost sure stochastic stability of the unperturbed (trivial) solution of the shell with closed-loop control. The distributed control is realized by the piezoelectric sensor and actuator, with the changing widths, glued to the upper and lower shell surface. The relation between the stabilization of nonlinear problem and a linearized one is examined. The fluctuating axial force is modeled by the physically realizable ergodic process. The rate velocity feedback is applied to stabilize the shell parametric vibrations.  相似文献

A nonlinear adaptive vibration absorber to control the vibrations offlexible structures is investigated. The absorber is based on thesaturation phenomenon associated with dynamical systems possessingquadratic nonlinearities and a two-to-one internal resonance. Thetechnique is implemented by coupling a second-order controller with thestructure through a sensor and an actuator. Energy is exchanged betweenthe structure and the controller and, near resonance, the structure'sresponse saturates to a small value.Experimental results are presented for the control of a rectangularplate and a cantilever beam using piezoelectric ceramics andmagnetostrictive alloys as actuators. The control technique isimplemented using a digital signal processing board and a modelingsoftware. The control strategy is made adaptive by incorporating anefficient frequency-measurement technique. This is validated bysuccessfully testing the control strategy for a nonconventionalproblem, where nonlinear effects hinder the application of thenonadaptive controller.  相似文献

This paper aims to study the nonlinear-forced vibrations of a viscoelastic cantilever with a piecewise piezoelectric actuator layer on its top surface using the method of Multiple Scales. The governing equation of motion is a second-order nonlinear ordinary differential equation with quadratic and cubic nonlinearities which appear in stiffness, inertia, and damping terms. The nonlinear terms are due to the piezoelectricity, viscoelasticity, and geometry of the system. Forced vibrations of the system are investigated in the cases of primary resonance and non-resonance hard excitation including subharmonic and superharmonic resonances. Analytical expressions for frequency responses are derived, and the effects of different parameters including damping coefficient, thickness to width ratio of the beam, length and position of the piezoelectric layer, density of the beam, and the piezoelectric coefficient on the frequency-response curves are discussed for each case. It is shown that in all these cases, the response of the system follows a softening behavior due to the existence of the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layer provides an effective tool for active control of vibration. In addition, the effect of the viscoelasticity of the beam on passive control of amplitude of vibration is illustrated.  相似文献

A coupled dynamic problem of thermoelectromechanics for thin-walled multilayer elements is formulated based on a geometrically nonlinear theory and the Kirchhoff–Love hypotheses. In the case of harmonic loading, an approximate formulation is given using the concept of complex moduli to characterize the cyclic properties of the material. The model problem on forced vibrations of sandwich beam, whose core layer is made of a passive physically nonlinear material, and face layers, of a viscoelastic piezoactive material, is considered as an example to demonstrate the possibility of damping the vibrations by applying harmonic voltage to the oppositely polarized layers of the beam. Substantiation is given for a linear control law with a complex coefficient for the electric potential, which provides damping of vibrations in the first symmetric mode at the linear and nonlinear stages of deformation. In this work, bifurcation control using a piezoelectric actuator isimplemented to stabilize the parametric resonance induced in acantilever beam. The piezoelectric actuator is attached to the surfaceof the beam to produce a bending moment in the beam. The dimensionlessequation of motion for the beam with the piezoelectric actuator on itssurface is derived and the modulation equations for the complexamplitude of an approximate solution are obtained using the method ofmultiple scales. We then acquire the bifurcation set that expresses theboundary of the stable and unstable regions. The bifurcation set ischaracterized by the modulation equations. Next, we determine the orderof feedback gains to modify these modulation equations. By actuating thepiezoelectric actuator under the appropriate feedback, bifurcationcontrol is carried out resulting in the shift of the bifurcation set andthe expansion of the stable region. The main characteristic of thestabilization method introduced above is that the work done by thepiezoelectric actuator is zero in the state where the parametricresonance is stabilized. Thus zero power control is realized in such astate. Experimental results show the validity of the proposedstabilization method for the parametric resonance induced in thecantilever beam.  相似文献

研究压电弯曲执行器在强电场作用下的非线性动力行为.考虑电致伸缩和电致弹性的非线性压电效应,导出了压电悬臂执行器变刚度的弯曲振动控制方程.利用非定常振动的渐近理论,讨论了弯曲压电执行器的动力特征.根据目前的非线性模型可以计算压电悬臂执行器的固有共振频率与电场的变化关系.结果表明压电执行器端头挠度谐振幅度随作用电场振幅的增大而增大,以及力学品质因数随电场振幅的增大而减少,并且与实验结果非常吻合.通过数值比较得到在电场频率随时间变化非常缓慢的情况下非定常振动问题可以近似地用定常振动来处理.  相似文献

The Wiener–Hopf technique is used to construct an analytical solution of the problem of vibrations of a semiinfinite elastic floating plate under periodic external loading. The solution is obtained in explicit form ignoring draft. The dependences of the amplitudes of surface waves and iceplate deflection on the loading distribution and frequency, ice thickness, and liquid depth are studied numerically. It is established that for some types of acting load, no waves propagate in the plate and liquid and the plate vibrations are standing waves localized near the loading region. An example of such vibrations is given and a condition for the occurrence of localized vibrations is found.  相似文献

The forced monoharmonic bending vibrations and dissipative heating of a piezoelectric circular sandwich plate under monoharmonic mechanical and electrical loading are studied. The core layer is passive and viscoelastic. The face layers (actuators) are piezoelectric and oppositely polarized over the thickness. The plate is subjected to harmonic pressure and electrical potential. The viscoelastic behavior of the materials is described by complex moduli dependent on the temperature of heating. The coupled nonlinear problem is solved numerically. A numerical analysis demonstrates that the natural frequency, amplitude of vibrations, mechanical stresses, and temperature of dissipative heating can be controlled by changing the area and thickness of the actuator. 采用状态空间法分析了两边简支的含压电夹层的功能梯度梁的静力弯曲和自由振动问题.为了考虑中间压电层与上、下功能梯度层之间的粘结效果,采用线性弹簧模型以模拟界面性能.假设上下功能梯度层的材料参数沿厚度连续变化,而压电层则是均匀材料,并且它们都是正交各向异性的.由于功能梯度梁的不均匀性使得直接求解比较困难,文中用层合模型来进行近似.数值算例中,分别考虑了压电层用于传感器或作动器的情形,分析了粘结界面完美程度对组合梁静力弯曲和自由振动频率的影响.  相似文献

研究压电弯曲执行器在强电场作用下的非线性弯曲行为。考虑电致伸缩和电致弹性的非线性压电效应,导出了压电悬臂执行器自由端挠度或激励力和作用电场之间的非线性关系。结果表明,考虑非线性压电效应在很大的电场范围内都与实验结果吻合得很好,而线性压电效应只适合于低电场的情况。  相似文献

对旋转运动柔性梁的时滞主动控制进行实验研究,验证时滞反馈控制的有效性. 实验中采用交流伺服电机带动柔性梁旋转运动,柔性梁上粘贴有压电作动器,用于控制梁的弹性振动. 实验研究考虑如下3种情况:(1)仅使用电机扭矩进行控制,电机扭矩存在时滞;(2)使用电机扭矩和压电作动器同时控制,仅压电作动器存在时滞;(3)使用电机扭矩和压电作动器同时控制,电机和压电作动器存在不同的时滞量. 重点通过实验验证时滞反馈控制的可行性和有效性.   相似文献

This paper aims at modeling and developing vibration control methods for a flexible piezoelectric beam. A collocated sensor/actuator placement is used. Finite element analysis (FEA) method is adopted to derive the dynamics model of the system. A back propagation neural network (BPNN) based proportional-derivative (PD) algorithm is applied to suppress the vibration. Simulation and experiments are conducted using the FEA model and BPNN-PD control law. Experimental results show good agreement with the simulation results using finite element modeling and the neural network control algorithm.  相似文献

Nonlinear modal interactions in the forced vibrations of a thermally loaded pre-buckled annular plate with clamped–clamped immovable boundary conditions are investigated. The mechanism responsible for the interaction is a combination internal resonance involving the natural frequencies of the three lowest axisymmetric modes. The in-plane thermal load acting on the plate is assumed to be axisymmetric and the plate is externally excited by a harmonic force. The nonlinear von Kármán plate equations along with the heat conduction equation are combined to model the behavior of the system. An analytical/numerical approach is used to examine the plate vibrations to a harmonic excitation near primary resonance of one of the modes.  相似文献

研究了上下表面粘贴压电层的功能梯度材料Timoshenko梁在升温及电场作用下的过屈曲行为。在精确考虑轴线伸长和一阶横向剪切变形的基础上,建立了压电功能梯度Timoshenko层合梁在热-电-机械载荷作用下的几何非线性控制方程。其中,假设功能梯度的材料性质沿厚度方向按照幂函数连续变化,压电层为各向同性均匀材料。采用打靶法数值求解所得强非线性边值问题,获得了在均匀电场和横向非均匀升温场内两端固定Timoshenko梁的静态非线性屈曲和过屈曲数值解。并给出了梁的变形随热、电载荷及材料梯度参数变化的特性曲线。结果表明,通过施加电压在压电层产生拉应力可以有效地提高梁的热屈曲临界载荷,延缓热过屈曲发生。由于材料在横向的非均匀性,即使在均匀升温和均匀电场作用下,也会产生拉-弯耦合效应。但是对于两端固定的压电-功能梯度材料梁,在横向非均匀升温下过屈曲变形仍然是分叉形的。  相似文献

The paper describes the use of active structures technology for deformation and nonlinear free vibrations control of a simply supported curved beam with upper and lower surface-bonded piezoelectric layers, when the curvature is a result of the electric field application. Each of the active layers behaves as a single actuator, but simultaneously the whole system may be treated as a piezoelectric composite bender. Controlled application of the voltage across piezoelectric layers leads to elongation of one layer and to shortening of another one, which results in the beam deflection. Both the Euler–Bernoulli and von Karman moderately large deformation theories are the basis for derivation of the nonlinear equations of motion. Approximate analytical solutions are found by using the Lindstedt–Poincaré method which belongs to perturbation techniques. The method makes possible to decompose the governing equations into a pair of differential equations for the static deflection and a set of differential equations for the transversal vibration of the beam. The static response of the system under the electric field is investigated initially. Then, the free vibrations of such deformed sandwich beams are studied to prove that statically pre-stressed beams have higher natural frequencies in regard to the straight ones and that this effect is stronger for the lower eigenfrequencies. The numerical analysis provides also a spectrum of the amplitude-dependent nonlinear frequencies and mode shapes for different geometrical configurations. It is demonstrated that the amplitude–frequency relation, which is of the hardening type for straight beams, may change from hard to soft for deformed beams, as it happens for the symmetric vibration modes. The hardening-type nonlinear behaviour is exhibited for the antisymmetric vibration modes, independently from the system stiffness and dimensions.
