大涡模拟是研究湍流的非定常特性的重要方法.但解析壁面层的大涡模拟所需的计算量与直接数值模拟相当,是大涡模拟在高雷诺数壁湍流数值模拟中所面临的主要困难.解析壁面层所需的网格尺度与壁面黏性长度同量级,是引起壁湍流大涡模拟计算量增加的主要原因.壁模型通过模化近壁流动避免了完全解析壁面层,可以显著地降低壁湍流大涡模拟的计算量,是克服上述困难的有效方法.本文介绍了大涡模拟壁模型的主要类型;详细讨论了常用的壁面应力模型,特别是平衡层模型和双层模型的构建思路和特点;基于近壁流动的特征讨论了应力边界条件的必要性和适用性;指出了壁面应力模型的局限性以及考虑非平衡效应修正的各种方法;讨论了壁面应力模型的研究历史、最新进展和发展趋势,给出了常用的壁面应力模型的分支与发展关系图;并基于Werner-Wengle模型实现了周期山状流的大涡模拟.  相似文献

采用滑移速度壁模型实现了浸入边界方法与壁模型相结合的大涡模拟.本文首先分别采用平衡层模型和非平衡壁模型对周期山状流进行数值模拟,以考查在壁模型中考虑切向压力梯度的作用.数值结果表明,流场的压力对本文所采用的壁模型形式并不敏感,但是考虑切向压力梯度可以显著改进壁面摩擦力的计算结果,并且能够准确的预测强压力梯度区以及分离区内的流动平均统计特性.不考虑压力梯度效应的平衡层模型显著低估了壁面摩擦力的分布,同时无法准确预测分离区内的平均速度剖面.非平衡模型的修正项正比于切向压力梯度和壁面法向距离,因此在强压力梯度区或者网格较粗时,计算得到的平均压力和摩擦力分布以及流动的低阶统计量均与参考的实验和计算结果吻合.在此基础上,通过回转体绕流的大涡模拟考查了该方法用于模拟高雷诺数壁湍流的适用性,非平衡壁模型可以准确地捕捉流动的物理结构并较准确地预测其水动力学特性.结果表明,将浸入边界方法与非平衡滑移速度壁模型相结合的大涡模拟,有望成为数值模拟复杂边界高雷诺数壁湍流的工具.   相似文献

在湍流数值模拟方法中,大涡模拟方法可以提供丰富的大涡旋信息,已逐渐成为复杂湍流问题数值研究的重要方法。而大涡模拟中,最重要的一环是尽量准确地构建能反映流场物理本质特征的亚格子应力模型。基于该思想,将一种新型的大涡模拟亚格子应力模型-Vreman亚格子应力模型用于高雷诺数三维后台阶流动的求解,计算结果与实验结果进行对比分析结果较吻合,验证了该模型的可靠性。这是对该模型用于无任何均匀流动方向的高雷诺数复杂湍流非定常流动的首次检验,计算结果优于基于传统的Smagorinsky涡粘性的动态亚格子模型。  相似文献

本文用大涡模拟预测了以不同转速做展向旋转的槽道湍流流动,统计平均的流向速度型在壁面附近与已有实验数据符合很好,在通道中部的预测差异也能给出合理解释,对比不同转速的计算结果,表明展向旋转通道的湍流应力和壁面摩擦力在压力面附近提高、在吸力面附近降低,这些高阶湍流统计量的变化规律可以结合湍流应力输运方程加以解释,漩涡识别技术显示了近壁条带结构,其形态和猝发率受旋转附加力的影响发生改变,进而影响壁面摩擦速度的数值和分布,进一步考察垂直流动方向的截面内速度分布,发现旋转引起了垂直壁面方向的流动,形成正负相间排列的流向涡对,并随着转速的增加向压力面靠近。   相似文献

从三维不可压缩雷诺时均Navier-Stokes方程出发,对90°弯曲管道内湍流流动进行数值模拟。网格划分采用六面体网格,湍流模型为RNGk-ε模型,在近壁区采用两层壁面模型进行修正,流场的计算结果与实验数据吻合较好。在此基础上,本文数值研究了来流方向对流场结构和流动特性的影响。得出在弯管流场中发生了分离现象,且随着来流侧滑角的增大,分离区范围增大。此外,随着来流从同一侧滑角变换至同一攻角时,横截面的二次流图像中也从具有两个对称主涡变成只具有一个主涡的现象。  相似文献

为实现碳达峰、碳中和“3060”目标, 风能将在我国能源体系发挥重要作用. 风力机尾迹是影响风电性能和度电成本的关键因素, 需在风力机布置和控制设计中充分考虑. 本文首先介绍风力机尾迹的数值模拟方法, 包括解析模型、低阶模型、大涡模拟和来流湍流生成方法. 解析模型和低阶模型可快速计算风力机尾迹, 但依赖于模型参数, 且不能或不能准确预测尾迹湍流特性. 结合风力机参数化模型的大涡模拟可准确预测尾迹蜿蜒等湍流特征, 是流动机理研究的有力工具, 可为发展快速预测模型提供数据和理论支撑. 接着, 本文介绍了叶尖涡、中心涡和尾迹蜿蜒并讨论其产生机理. 对于湍流来流, 叶尖涡主要存在于近尾迹. 蜿蜒是远尾迹的主要特征, 影响下游风力机的来流特征. 尾迹蜿蜒的产生有两种机制: 来流大尺度涡和剪切层失稳. 数值和观测结果显示两种机制共同存在. 机舱和中心涡对尾迹蜿蜒有重要影响. 采用叶片和机舱的致动面模型可准确预测尾迹蜿蜒. 研究显示不同风力机尾迹间的湍流特征存在相似性, 为发展尾迹湍流的快速预测模型提供了理论依据. 当前研究多关注平坦地形上的风力机尾迹, 复杂地形和海洋环境下的大气湍流和风力机尾迹的机理复杂, 现有工程模型无法准确预测, 有待深入研究.   相似文献

提出了湍流边界层的一种简单、快速计算方法, 用以求解强吸气作用下旋转圆筒表面边界层流动. 首先, 理论分析了同心圆筒间的旋转流体运动, 外筒静止、内筒旋转且为多孔吸气条件. 强吸气情况下旋转流动主要表现为内筒壁面附近的边界层流动, 基于这一事实得到了周向速度分布的解析表达式. 其次, 通过引入新参数扩展Cebeci-Smith代数湍流模型, 使其能考虑流线曲率、壁面吸气、低Reynolds数效应等因素. 针对这些因素的综合影响, 采用解析修正和经验参数对模型进行调整. 同时, 基于Reynolds应力湍流模型的仿真结果, 校准代数湍流模型中的经验参数. 最后, 给出基于广义Cebeci-Smith湍流模型的旋转壁面边界层流动的迭代算法, 该算法适用于需要特殊迭代过程的轴向及周向流动均匀情况. 计算了不同旋转速度和吸气强度组合工况下的边界层流动, 其周向速度和湍流强度分布与基于Reynolds应力湍流模型的计算结果非常接近. 并且表明, 当Reynolds应力湍流模型数值模拟预测内筒边界层为稳定层流时, 该方法也再现了相同初始条件下的层流边界层.   相似文献

对槽道湍流的展向振荡电磁力控制进行了实验和数值研究. 实验通过PIV系统和浮动床阻力测试系统记录近壁区的条带变化和壁面阻力变化. 计算时, 利用谱方法直接模拟电磁力控制下的近壁流场. 实验和计算结果定性一致, 皆表明展向振荡电磁力可以减少壁面阻力, 并使条带倾斜. 计算结果还进一步揭示了电磁力减阻的机理. 电磁力诱导产生的流向涡与壁湍流的相互作用, 在近壁处形成负的脉动展向涡, 该涡将导致流向涡的倾斜和振荡, 从而抑制湍流, 减少壁面阻力.   相似文献

雷诺切应力是壁湍流高摩擦阻力的重要来源, 有理论认为可以通过壁面生成负雷诺应力(数值上为正)的方式来削弱湍流流场中雷诺应力的分布, 以此获得流动减阻. 而通过对雷诺平均运动方程的法向二次积分, 可以发现壁面生成正雷诺应力(数值上为负)对壁面摩擦阻力系数才有负贡献. 文中在湍流边界层流动的控制区域下边界设置一系列倾斜狭缝, 利用该装置通过周期性吹吸的方法产生壁面生成正(负)雷诺应力, 并采用直接数值模拟方法考察和验证上文提到的减阻理论. 文中采用的湍流边界层流动模型, 其流动雷诺数(基于外流速度及动量损失厚度)从300 发展到860. 文中通过多组数值模拟算例, 考察了射流强度和频率对壁面摩擦阻力系数的影响, 并对比了壁面生成正或负雷诺应力对流动的影响. 研究表明, 壁面生成正雷诺应力控制的减阻率能达到3.26, 而壁面生成负雷诺应力控制的减阻效果较壁面生成正雷诺应力控制的要差; 壁面生成的正雷诺应力对壁面摩擦阻力有负贡献, 而壁面生成的负雷诺应力对壁面摩擦阻力有正贡献; 通过考察控制的收支比, 发现控制方案不能获得能量净收益.   相似文献

In order to reduce the high computational effort of wall-resolved large-eddy simulations (LES), the present paper suggests a hybrid LES–RANS approach which splits up the simulation into a near-wall RANS part and an outer LES part. Generally, RANS is adequate for attached boundary layers requiring reasonable CPU-time and memory, where LES can also be applied but demands extremely large resources. Contrarily, RANS often fails in flows with massive separation or large-scale vortical structures. Here, LES is without a doubt the best choice. The basic concept of hybrid methods is to combine the advantages of both approaches yielding a prediction method, which, on the one hand, assures reliable results for complex turbulent flows, including large-scale flow phenomena and massive separation, but, on the other hand, consumes much fewer resources than LES, especially for high Reynolds number flows encountered in technical applications. In the present study, a non-zonal hybrid technique is considered (according to the signification retained by the authors concerning the terms zonal and non-zonal), which leads to an approach where the suitable simulation technique is chosen more or less automatically. For this purpose the hybrid approach proposed relies on a unique modeling concept. In the LES mode a subgrid-scale model based on a one-equation model for the subgrid-scale turbulent kinetic energy is applied, where the length scale is defined by the filter width. For the viscosity-affected near-wall RANS mode the one-equation model proposed by Rodi et al. (J Fluids Eng 115:196–205, 1993) is used, which is based on the wall-normal velocity fluctuations as the velocity scale and algebraic relations for the length scales. Although the idea of combined LES–RANS methods is not new, a variety of open questions still has to be answered. This includes, in particular, the demand for appropriate coupling techniques between LES and RANS, adaptive control mechanisms, and proper subgrid-scale and RANS models. Here, in addition to the study on the behavior of the suggested hybrid LES–RANS approach, special emphasis is put on the investigation of suitable interface criteria and the adjustment of the RANS model. To investigate these issues, two different test cases are considered. Besides the standard plane channel flow test case, the flow over a periodic arrangement of hills is studied in detail. This test case includes a pressure-induced flow separation and subsequent reattachment. In comparison with a wall-resolved LES prediction encouraging results are achieved.   相似文献

We present a novel approach to hybrid Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS)/ large eddy simulation (LES) wall modeling based on function enrichment, which overcomes the common problem of the RANS-LES transition and enables coarse meshes near the boundary. While the concept of function enrichment as an efficient discretization technique for turbulent boundary layers has been proposed in an earlier article by Krank & Wall (A new approach to wall modeling in LES of incompressible flow via function enrichment. J Comput Phys. 2016;316:94-116), the contribution of this work is a rigorous derivation of a new multiscale turbulence modeling approach and a corresponding discontinuous Galerkin discretization scheme. In the near-wall area, the Navier-Stokes equations are explicitly solved for an LES and a RANS component in one single equation. This is done by providing the Galerkin method with an independent set of shape functions for each of these two methods; the standard high-order polynomial basis resolves turbulent eddies, where the mesh is sufficiently fine and the enrichment automatically computes the ensemble-averaged flow if the LES mesh is too coarse. As a result of the derivation, the RANS model is applied solely to the RANS degrees of freedom, which effectively prevents the typical issue of a log-layer mismatch in attached boundary layers. As the full Navier-Stokes equations are solved in the boundary layer, spatial refinement gradually yields wall-resolved LES with exact boundary conditions. Numerical tests show the outstanding characteristics of the wall model regarding grid independence, superiority compared to equilibrium wall models in separated flows, and achieve a speed-up by two orders of magnitude compared to wall-resolved LES.  相似文献

A novel method is proposed to combine the wall-modeled large-eddy simulation(LES) with the diffuse-interface direct-forcing immersed boundary(IB) method.The new developments in this method include:(i) the momentum equation is integrated along the wall-normal direction to link the tangential component of the effective body force for the IB method to the wall shear stress predicted by the wall model;(ii) a set of Lagrangian points near the wall are introduced to compute the normal component of the effective body force for the IB method by reconstructing the normal component of the velocity. This novel method will be a classical direct-forcing IB method if the grid is fine enough to resolve the flow near the wall. The method is used to simulate the flows around the DARPA SUBOFF model. The results obtained are well comparable to the measured experimental data and wall-resolved LES results.  相似文献

A Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of turbulent flow over an airfoil near stall is performed. Results of the LES are compared with those of Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) simulations using two well-known turbulence models, namely the Baldwin-Lomax model and the Spalart-Allmaras model. The subgrid scale model used for the LES is the filtered structure function model. All simulations are performed using the same structured multi-block code. In order to reduce the CPU time, an implicit time stepping method is used for the LES. The purpose of this study is to show the possibilities and limitations of LES of complex flows associated with aeronautical applications using state of the art simulation techniques. Typical flow features are captured by the LES such as the adverse-pressure gradient and flow retardation. Visualization of instantaneous flow fields shows the typical streaky structures in the near-wall region.  相似文献

The gridless smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method is now commonly used in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and appears to be promising in predicting complex free‐surface flows. However, increasing flow complexity requires appropriate approaches for taking account of turbulent effects, whereas some authors are still working without any turbulence closure in SPH. A review of recently developed turbulence models adapted to the SPH method is presented herein, from the simplistic point of view of a one‐equation model involving mixing length to more sophisticated (and thus realistic) models like explicit algebraic Reynolds stress models (EARSM) or large eddy simulation (LES). Each proposed model is tested and validated on the basis of schematic cases for which laboratory data, theoretical or numerical solutions are available in the general field of turbulent free‐surface incompressible flows (e.g. open‐channel flow and schematic dam break). They give satisfactory results, even though some progress should be made in the future in terms of free‐surface influence and wall conditions. Generalized Lattice Boltzmann equation (GLBE) was used for computation of turbulent channel flow for which large eddy simulation (LES) was employed as a turbulence model. The subgrid‐scale turbulence effects were simulated through a shear‐improved Smagorinsky model (SISM), which is capable of predicting turbulent near wall region accurately without any wall function. Computations were done for a relatively coarse grid with shear Reynolds number of 180 in a parallelized code. Good numerical stability was observed for this computational framework. The results of mean velocity distribution across the channel showed good correspondence with direct numerical simulation (DNS) data. Negligible discrepancies were observed between the present computations and those reported from DNS for the computed turbulent statistics. Three‐dimensional instantaneous vorticity contours showed complex vortical structures that appeared in such flow geometries. It was concluded that such a framework is capable of predicting accurate results for turbulent channel flow without adding significant complications and the computational cost to the standard Smagorinsky model. Prediction of the characteristics of turbulent flows with strong streamline curvature, such as flows in turbomachines, curved channel flows, flows around airfoils and buildings, is of great importance in engineering applications and poses a very practical challenge for turbulence modeling. In this paper, we analyze qualitatively the curvature effects on the structure of turbulence and conduct numerical simulations of a turbulent Uduct flow with a number of turbulence models in order to assess their overall performance. The models evaluated in this work are some typical linear eddy viscosity turbulence models, nonlinear eddy viscosity turbulence models (NLEVM) (quadratic and cubic), a quadratic explicit algebraic stress model (EASM) and a Reynolds stress model (RSM) developed based on the second-moment closure. Our numerical results show that a cubic NLEVM that performs considerably well in other benchmark turbulent flows, such as the Craft, Launder and Suga model and the Huang and Ma model, is able to capture the major features of the highly curved turbulent U-duct flow, including the damping of turbulence near the convex wall, the enhancement of turbulence near the concave wall, and the subsequent turbulent flow separation. The predictions of the cubic models are quite close to that of the RSM, in relatively good agreement with the experimental data, which suggests that these models may be employed to simulate the turbulent curved flows in engineering applications.  相似文献

Thermally stratified shear turbulent channel flow with temperature oscillation on the bottom wall of the channel is calculated to investigate the behavior of turbulent flow and heat transfer by use of large eddy simulation (LES) approach coupled with dynamic subgrid-scale (SGS) models. The objective of this study is to deal with the effect of the temperature oscillation on turbulent behavior of thermally stratified turbulent channel flow and to examine the effectiveness of the LES technique for predicting statistically unsteady turbulent flow driven by time-varying buoyancy force. To validate the present calculation, thermally stratified shear turbulent channel flow is computed and compared with available data obtained by direct numerical simulation (DNS), which confirm that the present approach can be used to predict thermally stratified turbulent channel flow satisfactorily. Further, to illustrate the effect of the temperature oscillation with different Richardson numbers and periods of the oscillation on turbulence characteristics, the phase-averaged mean value and fluctuation of the resolved velocities and temperature, and instantaneous velocity fluctuation structures are analyzed.  相似文献
