An internal Brewster guided-mode resonance (GMR) filter is designed. For this kind of GMR filter, the Brewster reflection occurs at the interface of grating/waveguide layers rather than at the interface of air/grating layers. At Brewster angle of 60~, the GMR filter owns almost 100% reflection at the resonance wavelength of 800 nm with the full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of 0.2 nm. Its angle response changing with the fabrication deviation is also discussed.  相似文献

受抑全反射结构中,反射光束和透射光束的古斯汉欣(Goos-Hanchen)位移同时存在,对称双棱镜结构的受抑全反射古斯汉欣位移通常只有波长量级,在实验中很难测量。计算了在入射角大于棱镜与空气界面的临界角小于棱镜与薄膜界面临界角时,镀有电介质膜的对称双棱镜的受抑全反射过程中入射光束的反射系数和透射系数的复数表达式。利用稳态相位法计算得出透射光束和全反射光束的古斯汉欣位移。结果表明,反射光束和透射光束古斯汉欣位移量相同,与入射角大小、薄膜厚度以及空气层厚度有关。在入射角小于但接近棱镜与薄膜界面的临界角,薄膜厚度和空气层厚度一定时,古斯汉欣位移量共振增强达到波长的数百倍。  相似文献

A perpendicular dual-grating (PDG) guided-mode resonance filter was constructed by placing two identical waveguide gratings close to and their grooves perpendicular to each other. Multilayer waveguide theory was used to estimate the resonant wavelength for the TE and TM polarization incidences, and the rigorous coupled wave analysis (RCWA) was used to investigate the resonant wavelength, the lineshape and linewidth of the resonant peaks for arbitrary polarization incidences. The filter presents identical spectral characteristics for normally incident wave with arbitrary polarization. The separation of the resonant reflection peaks corresponding to the TE0 and TM0 split modes were realized by properly selecting the geometrical and material parameters of the grating layers and the waveguide layers. Measurement of the nano air gap between 0 and 0.4 p by determining one of the two resonant reflection peaks of the TE0/TM0 split modes was achieved without being interfered by the TM0/TE0 split modes.  相似文献

Transmission and reflection coefficients of hybrid modes in the sliding waveguide are discussed on the basis of mode matching method and multi-mode network theory. It is confirmed that the decrease in power of < 0.2% at 84 GHz is obtained for 2 cm in gap of the sliding waveguide which is composed of the corrugated waveguide with 88.9 mm diam. and the smooth-wall waveguide with 110 mm diam. At the sliding length near multi-half-wavelength in vacuum, transmission and reflection powers in the sliding waveguide change slightly, because the very small amount of standing wave in high higher-mode is produced resonantly in the gap.  相似文献

A new type of optical filter is predicted theoretically and verified experimentally. The filter operates under guided-mode resonance conditions in a thin-film waveguide grating. A high-efficiency reflection filter response is produced at the Brewster angle at which TM reflection is classically prohibited. Low-reflectance sidebands are obtained that are adjacent to the resonance peak induced by the Brewster effect in the neighborhood of the resonance peak. A double-layer waveguide grating yields 94% experimental reflectance at the thin-film Brewster angle for a Gaussian laser beam with TM polarization at the 1064-nm wavelength.  相似文献

用传输矩阵法研究一维光子晶体G(AB)mC(AB)mH的能带特性及电场分布,结果发现:随着m的增大,在830—883nm波长范围内,光子晶体G(AB)mC(AB)mH禁带中的导带透射率逐渐趋于零,即光被禁止通过,实现全反射镜功能,且随着入射角的增大,光子晶体的禁带逐渐向短波方向移动。随着介质层G、H的折射率增大,光子晶体在833.6—879.1nm波长范围内出现大的禁带,亦实现全反射镜功能。光子晶体G(AB)5C(AB)5H内部存在很强的局域电场,即在光子晶体内传输的光,被强烈局域在禁带范围内,并在缺陷层C处达到极大值,而且随着m的增大,局域强度增强。这些光学传输特性,为研究、设计新型光学器件全反射镜、滤波器等提供指导。  相似文献

设计了一种可用于太阳能电池反射器的二维三角晶格光子晶体异质结结构.采用传输矩阵法对该结构在可见至近红外波长范围入射电磁波的反射率进行了模拟计算,并比较了不同入射方向下反射率的变化.结果表明,光线垂直入射时,该结构光子晶体对近红外波段入射光可实现完全反射|随着偏转角度的增大,在整个可见-近红外波段均显示出极高的反射特性.该结构有望用于制作覆盖整个可见光-近红外波段的高效全方位反射器.  相似文献

In this article, the reflection properties in one-dimensional dielectric-dielectric photonic band gap (PBG) structure have been studied. We have used SiO2 as material of low refractive index and Te as a high refractive index material. Reflectivity of proposed PBG structure is plotted as a function of wavelength and angle of incidence and omni-directional PBGs are computed theoretically. To obtain reflectance, we used transfer matrix method for solving Maxwell’s equations for electromagnetic wave in PBG structures. For a large range of frequency, the PBG structure is found to exhibit omni-directional reflection which can be exploited in devices such as optical resonators, mirrors, etc.  相似文献

In this letter, a guided-mode resonance (GMR) filter with the same material for both the grating layer and the waveguide layer is designed, and its optical properties are investigated. The GMR filter owns almost 100% reflection at the resonance wavelength of 800 nm with the full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of 20 nm, and its sideband reflection from 700 to 1000 nm is less than 5%. As the resonance wavelength is influenced by more than one parameter during the fabrication process, GMR filter with the same resonance wavelength can be obtained by adjusting other parameters or even one parameter to deviate from the design value.  相似文献

光子晶体的禁带特性是该新兴材料的最根本特征。本文运用平面波展开法(PWE)计算了一种正方晶格Si光子晶体材料的禁带特性,并基于该材料设计出一种红外波段的线缺陷光子晶体波导结构。运用时域有限差分法(FDTD)研究了线缺陷二维光子晶体波导宽度对通频带、电场强度及透射能量的影响,研究结果为二维光子晶体波导器件的开发和利用提供了理论支撑。  相似文献

 基于漏波波导行波天线辐射理论,设计了一种X波段基于漏波波导的高功率微波(HPM)天线。采用微扰法和横向谐振法对天线的辐射特性进行分析,结合数值模拟优化给出了一种基于漏波波导的X波段HPM天线的设计方案。数值模拟表明:该天线在9.6 GHz时增益为26.2 dBi,口径效率大于70%,反射系数小于-20 dB。通过理论分析与数值模拟得到该天线的功率容量大于200 MW,在最大增益点上对ns量级短脉冲的远场响应波形不存在畸变,验证了该天线在HPM条件下使用的可行性。  相似文献

提出了一种工作在C波段的高功率平板波导螺旋阵列天线。以平板波导馈电,降低了馈电复杂性和馈电结构高度;对基本的电探针结构进行改进,通过控制扇形缝隙的圆心角大小来调整耦合量,并采用上下脊结构消除反射;设计了短螺旋天线结构,通过分离的参数分别优化轴比和反射,得到天线的轴比在?7°~7°的范围内小于0.5 dB;构建了一个20单元的直线馈电阵列,通过电探针结构从平板波导中耦合能量,实现了20单元的等幅馈电。最后仿真了一个工作在4.3 GHz,包含20×20个单元的螺旋阵列天线,结果表明:该天线的增益为31.6 dB,口径效率为74%,在4.11~4.43 GHz的频带范围内反射小于?16 dB,功率容量3.6 GW。  相似文献

A high spectral resolution analysis of narrowband reflection filters based on resonant grating waveguide structures is presented. A tunable high-performance dye laser with ∼ 0.15 cm-1 line width and a beam analyzing system consisting of three simultaneously controlled CCD cameras were used to investigate grating waveguide resonances at wavelengths in the 694 nm and 633 nm ranges. A reflectivity of ∼ 91% and a line width of ∼ 0.55 nm were measured and theoretically modeled for a resonant reflection filter specifically designed for the ruby laser wavelength 694.2 nm. For a second grating waveguide structure, designed for the helium-neon laser emission wavelength 632.8 nm, we observed a thermal shift of its spectral resonance position of several nanometers, when increasing the sample temperature by some degrees. An inverse thermal shift was observed when the structure was subsequently cooled down to room temperature. Our results suggest implementation of grating waveguide devices combining a narrow line width with a tunability of the resonant response into innovative concepts for reflection filter and sensor applications.  为X波段高峰值功率速调管功率合成输出结构设计了一个工作在9 GHz的转向波导,用于连接功率合成器和速调管输出腔。转向波导结构由中心矩形谐振腔、两个矩形耦合孔和两边的输入输出波导组成;输入和输出波导由速调管输出腔和功率合成器确定,分别工作在TE10和TE01模式,它们相互垂直并偏离矩形谐振腔的中心;中间的矩形谐振腔工作在TM110,TE101和TE011混合模式。这种转向波导结构的3个反射零点构成了较宽的传输通带。将连接转向波导结构的功率合成器加载到速调管输出腔,计算了功率合成器加载后速调管输出腔的间隙阻抗。计算结果表明:功率合成器的加载对输出腔间隙阻抗影响不大。设计的转向波导结构很好地应用到了速调管功率合成输出结构中。  相似文献

为了研究一维光子晶体中光波的全反射贯穿效应,利用传输矩阵法计算了TE波和TM波在大于全反射角入射一维光子晶体的透射率.在透射波中发现了全反射贯穿效应,得出了全反射贯穿效应随入射角的变化规律、全反射贯穿效应的波长特性以及全反射贯穿效应随介质光学厚度的变化规律.利用波的量子理论和渐逝波的理论对一维光子晶体的全反射贯穿效应作出了理论解释.  相似文献

The design of a vertical directional coupler between a three-dimensional plasmonic slot waveguide and a silicon waveguide is theoretically investigated in detail. It consists of two steps: the design of isolated plasmonic slot waveguide and silicon waveguide and the determination of the gap between the two waveguides and the length of a coupling region. The designed structure transfers 70.8% of the power carried by the silicon waveguide mode to the plasmonic slot waveguide mode when the gap is 150 nm and the coupling length is 2.14 μm. The wavelength dependence of our vertical directional coupler is also studied. The analysis shows that the amount of the transferred power changes slightly over a very wide wavelength range between 1.40 μm and 1.61 μm. Moreover, if we employ the fabrication technology for silicon photonics, it is quite tolerant to the variation of the length of its coupling section. Finally, the vertical directional coupler is considered for a polarizer.  相似文献

在金属-电介质结构的基础上提出了一种基于金属狭缝阵列的各向异性偏振分束器,并采用有限元法研究了横磁(TM)和横电(TE)偏振光入射后结构所表现出的负反射和镜面反射等特性.计算结果表明,当偏振光的入射角设定在20?—70?时,入射的TM光发生强烈的负反射,而TE光的负反射很弱,并随着波长的增加而急剧下降.分析可得偏振分束光栅的理想负反射点和反射面的完美对称响应效果.通过仿真得到了理想负反射点的取值范围.结合严格耦合波法软件,计算不同偏振光入射时负反射和镜面反射条件下的反射率,其消光比高达10~6.  相似文献

A novel technique is used to measure the concentration of glycerol in blood-hemoglobin-glycerol (B–H–G) solution using 3D photonic crystal structure is presented in this paper. Glycerol concentration is estimated accurately by measuring the intensities of transmitted light. Here, reflection as well as absorption losses is considered to measure the transmitted intensity of light having wavelength 540 nm. The principle of measurement is based on the linear variation of photonic band gap with respect to glycerol concentration. Simulations for photonic band gap are made using plane wave expansion (PWE) method. An experimental set up is theoretically designed to measure the concentration of glycerol at different hemoglobin concentration.  相似文献

A new regime of the sliding propagation of microwave radiation in plasma waveguides in atmospheric air has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. A plasma waveguide whose radius is much larger than the radiation wavelength has been created by the photoionization of an easily ionized impurity by the ultraviolet radiation of a KrF laser. The transfer of a 35.3-GHz microwave signal to a distance of 60 m has been demonstrated. The transfer mechanism is due to the total internal reflection of the wave on the optically less dense walls of the plasma waveguide.  相似文献
