研究了高阶贝塞尔脉冲光束通过色散光阑透镜的光谱和时间空间特性.结果表明:脉冲光束在几何焦面上会出现光谱开关,透镜色散使产生光谱开关的临界位置向z轴移动|透镜一阶色散使几何焦面上峰值光强减小,并使脉冲波形产生显著时间移动和展宽,而二阶和高阶色散的影响较小.此外,光束阶数n和空间参量α也会影响横向光强分布.  相似文献

The spatiotemporal effects generated in the wake of a laser filament propagating in nitrogen are investigated. At suitable time delays, a probe light pulse propagating along the wake experiences a strong spatial confinement and a noticeable spectral broadening at the same time. Numerical simulations, well reproducing the experimental findings, show the key role of the impulsive rotational Raman response in the observed phenomena.  相似文献

利用三五阶非线性效应下的扩展非线性薛定谔方程,在忽略光纤色散的情况下,计算模拟了以二阶情形为例的啁啾超高斯光脉冲的啁啾和频谱。结果表明,脉冲无预啁啾时,正五阶非线性增大啁啾量,负五阶非线性在减小啁啾量的同时还改变啁啾曲线的形状。当预啁啾与五阶非线性系数同(异)号时,总啁啾增加(减小)。随着超高斯脉冲阶次的增大,总啁啾量增大,脉冲中心附近无啁啾的范围变宽,整个有啁啾的范围变小,总啁啾中预啁啾所占比重增大。脉冲无预啁啾时,正负五阶非线性分别可以增大和减小频谱展宽。预啁啾若增强非线性所致啁啾,则可能使频谱峰值结构加强,谱峰数目增多。当超高斯光脉冲的阶次或最大非线性相移增大时,在某些宽大的频谱峰上还可能出现许多精细谱峰。  相似文献

用实验和数值模拟两种方法研究了高非线性光子晶体光纤中飞秒激光脉冲的传输特性和超连续谱的产生机理,给出了抽运脉冲在三种不同中心波长情况下输出光谱展宽并形成超连续谱的实际测量及理论模拟结果.研究表明:在零色散波长抽运时,光谱展宽以自相位调制为主,同时三阶色散的影响明显,传输脉冲在时域内出现振荡次峰.而在反常色散区抽运时,光谱展宽的初期以自相位调制为主,随后根据抽运功率的不同孤子自频移、高阶光孤子的裂变和四波混频效应会逐渐增强,进而成为光谱展宽的主要原因.与此相应,在时域中能明显看到孤子的形成和红移,飞秒传输脉 关键词: 光子晶体光纤 高非线性光子晶体光纤 飞秒脉冲激光 超连续谱  相似文献

An experimental study has been made of the combustion and evaporation of miscible binary fuels on a heated surface at elevated pressures. Photographic observation was made for elucidating how the binary fuel droplets or films behaved on the heated surface and for obtaining the characteristic lifetime as a function of the surface temperature, the ambient pressure and the initial concentration of highly volatile component of the fuels. The binary fuels tested were mixtures of n-hexane and n-decane. The results showed that the lifetime curve both for the combustion and for the evaporation of n-hexane/n-decane on the heated surface had two peaks at lower pressures, the first peak in the film-type evaporation region and the second peak in the spheroid-type evaporation region. The preferential evaporation of the highly volatile component was responsible for the appearance of the first peak in the film-type evaporation region. The second peak corresponded to Leidenfrost point. The increase in the ambient pressure caused a shift of the lifetime curve toward higher surface temperature and a decrease in the lifetime at two peaks. The lifetime curve decreased monotonically with increasing the surface temperature and the spheroid-type evaporation was not observed at higher pressures. The increase in the initial concentration of highly volatile component caused a shift of the first peak toward higher surface temperature, a decrease in its lifetime and a slight shift of the second peak toward lower surface temperature. The combustion caused a remarkable decrease in the lifetimes around the first peak and in the spheroid-type evaporation region and a slight increase in the surface temperature at the first peak, while the surface temperature at the second peak remained almost unchanged.  相似文献

The influence of depletable amplification, group velocity dispersion and self-phase modulation due to Kerr-type nonlinearity on pulse shaping in femtosecond pulse amplification has been calculated. With gain depletion which is typical for the last stage of multi-stage amplifiers, spectral broadening occurs which, under certain conditions, can be utilized for pulse compression. This spectral broadening as well as a predicted spectral shift is compared with experimental results.  相似文献

Arrays of single‐crystalline Si nanowires (NWs) decorated with arbitrarily shaped Si nanocrystals (NCs) are grown by a metal‐assisted chemical etching process using silver (Ag) as the noble metal catalyst. The metal‐assisted chemical etching‐grown Si NWs exhibit strong photoluminescence (PL) emission in the visible and near infrared region at room temperature. Quantum confinement of carriers in the Si NCs is believed to be primarily responsible for the observed PL emission. Raman spectra of the Si NCs decorated on Si NWs exhibit a red shift and an asymmetric broadening of first‐order Raman peak as well as the other multi‐phonon modes when compared with that of the bulk Si. Quantitative analysis of confinement of phonons in the Si NCs is shown to account for the measured Raman peak shift and asymmetric broadening. To eliminate the laser heating effect on the phonon modes of the Si NWs/NCs, the Raman measurement was performed at extremely low laser power. Both the PL and Raman spectral analysis show a log‐normal distribution for the Si NCs, and our transmission electron microscopy results are fully consistent with the results of PL and Raman analyses. We calculate the size distribution of these Si NCs in terms of mean diameter (D0) and skewness (σ) by correlating the PL spectra and Raman spectra of the as‐grown Si NCs decorated on Si NWs. 从光纤中扩展的耦合非线性薛定谔方程组出发,在饱和非线性光纤零色散附近,研究了不同二、四阶色散参量下交叉相位调制不稳定性增益谱及其临界扰动频率、谱宽和谱峰随两光波入射功率的演化特点.研究表明,随色散参量不同,增益谱随两光波入射功率的增大可能出现三种演化形式:一是始终是两个分离的谱区;二是由开始时的两个合成一个,最后再分离成两个;三是始终是一个谱区.饱和非线性的存在则使每个谱区的谱宽、谱峰及远离零点的临界扰动频率,随两光波入射功率的增大可能呈现出先增大后减小的特点,使第二谱区靠近零点的临界扰动频率呈现先减小后增大的特点,从而可能出现两个不同的输入功率对应同一个增益峰值和谱宽的情形.色散参量对增益谱的谱峰影响小,对谱宽影响大.越靠近零色散区,每个谱区谱宽越大,越易连成一个谱区.  相似文献

A theoretical study of super generation in photonic crystal fiber and its application to pulse compression is presented. The evolution of the spectrum can be divided into three stages: initial broadening below a certain threshold propagation distance, dramatic broadening to a supercontinuum at a threshold distance, and, finally, saturation of the spectral width on propagation. It is found that the group delay and group-delay dispersion of the supercontinum are sensitive to the input pulse peak power after further propagation at the third stage. Fluctuations from the input pulse are amplified and translated into fluctuations and time shift of the compressed pulses. There exists an optimum compressed distance at which compressed pulses with negligible fluctuation and time shift can be obtained.  相似文献

We present a new scheme to report on Goos–Hänchen (GH) shift experienced by the Gaussian light beam interacting with an optical cavity filled with four-level sodium atomic medium in the spectral hole burning region with and without Doppler broadening effect. Theoretical atomic density-matrix formalism is employed to obtain the susceptibility of atomic medium while the stationary-phase-theory is used to compute the GH shift in the reflected and transmitted probe beams subjected to control fields. A steep normal slope of dispersion is observed with a maximum and zero probability of transmission and reflection coefficients, respectively, at the regions of the spectral holes burning. In the normal dispersion spectrum at the region of spectral hole burning, positive and negative GH shift is observed, respectively, in the transmitted and reflected light beams. However, at anomalous dispersive regions negative GH shift in the transmission beam and positive GH shift in the reflection beam is observed. The reflection and transmission coefficients as well as the spatial GH shift are the functions of probe detuning, collective phase of control fields, beam incident angle and inverse Doppler broadening effect in the spectral hole burning region. The position and number of spectral holes also depend on the same spectral parametrs as stated above. The study is expected to be useful for optoelectronic devices and optical-clocking applications.  相似文献

Time-to-frequency converters are devices that transfer the intensity of a light pulse to its spectrum. The two architectures of these converters are studied: a dispersive line followed by a phase modulator and a single time lens operating in the spectral Fraunhofer regime. These two configurations are shown not to be equivalent in general: the first one provides an incoherent time-to-frequency mapping, whereas the second depends on the degree of coherence of the pulse. In this case, the recorded spectrum is the intensity of a partially coherent residually dispersed pulse, and the spectral Fraunhofer condition is the requirement of negligible residual dispersion. Converters operated outside the spectral Fraunhofer limit can achieve a subpicosecond resolution with moderate time-lens phase factors. Their use for pulse characterization is briefly analyzed.  相似文献

A new mathematical method is presented which allows a systematic construction of the radial profiles of emissivity, angular frequency, and temperature from a measured two-dimensional intensity distribution function I(λ, x) whose spectral part is determined by line shift and line broadening due the Doppler-effect. 对激光诱导等离子体参数进行诊断有多种方法,其中采用发射光谱法对其诊断是一种重要的方法。文中采用Nd∶YAG固态激光器,输出波长1 064 nm红外激光与铝合金样品相互作用,深入研究了铝合金等离子体产生早期(<1 μs)谱线轮廓、谱线强度、线背比、谱线半峰宽及位移等随时间演变规律。研究表明,激光与物质相互作用早期,电子数密度非常大,电子与离子及原子之间的相互作用非常强烈,谱线的Stark展宽效应非常明显,导致多重谱线重叠在一起,随时间演变,电子数密度及电子温度的降低,多重谱线的半峰宽越来越窄且谱线轮廓对称性越来越好。MgⅠ285.212 6 nm谱线强度早期逐渐增强,大约100 ns左右谱线强度达到最大值,然后谱线强度呈逐渐减小的趋势,这是由于等离子体产生早期,电子及离子占主导地位,故早期原子谱线强度较弱,随时间演变,电子与离子之间的复合,原子数密度逐渐增加,故原子谱线逐渐增强,达到最大值之后,由于等离子体激发温度的降低,故谱线强度逐渐减弱。以NIST波长位置为参考,等离子体产生的早期谱线发生了红移,连续背景强度随时间演变呈幂函数形式急剧递减,与之相反,谱线的连续背景强度与谱线强度相比,连续背景衰减的速度更为迅速,故导致谱线信背比随时间演变呈增大趋势,本研究对等离子体早期这些现象从理论角度进行了深入探讨。  相似文献

飞秒激光成丝超连续辐射具有高强度和高时空相干性等优点,作为一种超宽带光源在很多领域都具有广泛的应用前景.本文提出一种结合微透镜阵列的空间调制和基于液晶空间光调制器的时域整形的飞秒激光脉冲整形方式,利用基于遗传算法的反馈优化控制,实现了飞秒激光在熔融石英中成丝产生的超连续辐射强度的调制,得到了在一定范围内光谱强度可控的超连续辐射光谱;光谱的能量密度可以从0.03μJ/nm调制到0.09μJ/nm,其能量密度变化达到了初始值的3倍.计算了典型迭代代数对应的整形脉冲时域包络,分析了超连续光谱随迭代代数的演化趋势,结果表明,脉冲包络的峰值强度和波形分布是影响超连续光谱展宽和强度的主要物理原因.  相似文献

We discuss the sharp spectral lines emitted by a gas of particles with rest mass m at all temperatures. By treating the problem as fully relativistic we obtain the exact expressions for line shape and total intensity in the two cases where the gas is confined in a box or freely expanding. At all temperatures the Doppler broadening leads to asymmetric shapes with a blue shift of the peak of the line. For relativistic temperatures of the order kT mc2 the line shapes and total intensities are completely different and the free case gives rise to a spectacular increase in total intensity proportional to (4kT/mc2)2. For temperatures of kT > mc2/4 the line shape changes dramatically and for still higher temperatures the infinitely sharp line emitted in the rest frame of the particles gives rise to a black body spectrum.  相似文献

Comprehensive model and computer simulations of the supercontinuum generation in bulk media are presented. Using water and air as representative condensed and gaseous media, the standard model for white-light generation is put to test. It is shown that besides the intensity clamping and plasma-induced frequency blue shift, the linear chromatic dispersion plays an important role. Efficient frequency conversion of 5 ps-pulses from a cavity dumped Rh6G-dye laser by stimulated-Raman-scattering (SRS) into the first and second Stokes order has been achieved. The simulateneously produced asymmetric spectrical broadening of the pump pulses leads to double peaks in the Raman spectrum. By means of spectrally resolved cross-correlation measurements with 2 ps pulses from a second synchronized dye laser, the relative arrival time of the various spectral components is measured. Furthermore it is shown that the effect of a reduction of the pump peak power by SPM is partially compensated by the temporal broadening of the pump pulses leading to a longer interaction length for SRS.  相似文献

The dependence of the rms spectral width of a light pulse consisting of several light-field oscillations on the distance passed in an optical waveguide with arbitrary dispersion and nonresonant electronic nonlinearity has been derived. This dependence allows one to rapidly predict the scenarios of the initial evolution of the spectrum (broadening, distance independence, or compression) by using the input pulse parameters and waveguide characteristics. It is shown that the pulse spectral width increases when the enrichment of the spectrum due to the generation of multiple harmonics is taken into account. In this case, for pulses with the spectrum in the region of the anomalous group dispersion of the waveguide, there is the intensity range for which the self-narrowing of the main spectral peak around the central radiation frequency is characteristic.  相似文献

We present the first demonstration of a new mechanism for temporal compression of ultrashort light pulses that operates at high (i.e., ionizing) intensities. By propagating pulses inside a hollow waveguide filled with low-pressure argon gas, we demonstrate a self-compression from 30 to 13 fs, without the need for any external dispersion compensation. Theoretical models show that 3D spatiotemporal reshaping of the pulse due to a combination of ionization-induced spectral broadening, plasma-induced refraction, and guiding in the hollow waveguide are necessary to explain the compression mechanism.  相似文献
