Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is an effective method for nondestructive rapid element analysis in a wide range of media in situ. We use the LIBS technique for quantitative analysis of indium tin oxide (ITO) films, which are transparent conducting materials widely used in industry. The plasma is generated by focusing a Nd:YAG laser pulse with a duration of 10 ns and a wavelength of 1064 nm onto the ITO-sample surface. We perform test experiments to define optimum values of the laser-pulse energy and the time delay between the laser pulse and the beginning of the LIBS spectra acquisition. Next, by the calibration-free Boltzmann plot method, we assess the plasma temperature and finally calculate the content of In and Sn in the test ITO specimen, and this agrees well with real concentration values.  相似文献

Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopic (LIBS) technique was used to detect calcium and silicon in an unknown sample. In this method plasma was generated by Nd∶YAG laser of wavelength 1 064 nm with energy 400 mJ and pulse duration between 5~10 ns. The method was applied for the qualitative as well as quantitative analysis. In the qualitative analysis, the electron number density (Ne) of plasma containing calcium and silicon is determined showing that Ne of neutral particles is equivalent to 1016 (cm-3) whereas for ionized particles it is 1017 (cm-3). Plasma temperature is measured using Boltzmann plot method which must be greater than 10 000 k. Intensity ratio method is used for the quantitative analysis shows various elements in abundance with calcium and silicon in majority.  相似文献

激光诱导击穿光谱技术(LIBS)具有无需样品制备,原位快速分析,可进行实时控制的特点使其在钢铁冶炼控制中具有巨大的实际应用价值。本文以波长为1 064 nm的Nd∶YAG调Q固体激光器为激发光源,CCD为探测器,高合金钢GBW01605—01609系列为样品,在建立的LIBS实验装置上研究激光与合金钢之间的相互作用。系统地研究了观测距离、激光能量对高合金钢样品中激光诱导击穿谱特性的影响,并分析了LIBS信号的时间分辨特性,确定了将LIBS用于合金钢微量元素定量分析时的最佳实验条件。  相似文献

This work describes the experimental results obtained on the Cr4+:YAG crystal used as a passive Q-switch in Nd: YAG lasers. In addition, the combination of a Cr4+: YAG passive Q-switch with an acousto-optical Q-switch operating simultaneously in one cavity was investigated. More than 180 W average output in the passive Q-switched mode was obtained with the C4+: YAG crystal. The pulse-to-pulse stability was better than 1%. A mode selection occurred when the laser system operated near threshold.  相似文献

Results of single and double pulses (SP- and DP) Q-switch Nd:YAG laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) at atmospheric pressure on the structure of graphite target are reported. Various parameters, such as laser energy, placement of the focus with respect to the surface of illumination, and time delay between laser pulse and ICCD camera pulse were used as variables. This study contributes to a better understanding of the LIBS plasma dynamics of the SP- and DP effect by observing the temporal evolution of emission line of graphite. The gate width and the delay time were adjusted to achieve the best possible signal to noise ratio. Electron densities were found from Stark broadening. The temporal behavior of the last one was also estimated. It was found that the electron density for DP of 2 × 20 mJ is higher than that for SP of 40 mJ of the same total energy. The results show a faster decay of continuum, spectral lines, and a shorter plasma life.  相似文献

We propose a new method for achieving simultaneous operation of laser mode locking and the Q-switch technique using only a single acousto-optic modulator (AOM) with a traveling wave; this AOM was placed inside the cavity of a green-emission Nd:YAG laser. The further shortening of the lasing pulse duration from 40 ps to less than 3.25 ps was obtained by the formation of a Kerr lens in a doubling-frequency crystal. At average output power of 1.5 W and pulse repetition rate of the Q-switch equal to 2 kHz, the peak power in a steady-operating laser exceeded 50 MW.  相似文献

The acousto-optic repetition train was one kilohertz with generated pulse train widths 65 ns, single pulse widths 200 ps and an average power of 6.5 W. 激光诱导击穿光谱是一种基于激光的定性、定量分析化学元素的方法,可用于分析混合室中的橡胶共混物。本文采用波长为1 064 nm、脉冲能量为100 mJ的Nd: YAG激光诱导击穿光谱法检测橡胶共混物中锌的分散情况。实验表明,正确混料决定了橡胶产品的质量,较短的混合时间将会导致混料的不均匀分散;焦距等参数设置对光谱线强度影响较大。激发标定样品可产生标定曲线。通过行扫描可分析锌在橡胶共混物中的分散情况。通过估算沿着行扫描方向的强度分布,可检测由于混合时间较短和旋转速度不同而引起的锌均匀性变化。  相似文献

The Cr4+-doped saturable absorber Cr4+:YAG is used as the passive Q-switch for a conventional pulsed Nd:Sr5(VO5)3F(Nd:S-VAP) oscillator, and the short high-peak-power pulses of laser have been obtained. The laser output characteristics are investigated under the conditions of different small-signal transmittance of Cr4+:YAG and different reflectivity of the output coupler. The rate equtions of Q-switched coupling wave are given, and the numerical solutions of equations are in agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

A simple real-time resonance tracking method is described and experimentally demonstrated for stable single axial mode operation of an injection-seeded Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. We have achieved stable single axial mode operation with mW of seeding power in noisy environment over hours. The mode selectivity dependence on finite Q-switch opening time is demonstrated and quantitatively modeled for Q-switch opening time optimization.  相似文献

利用Nd∶YAG脉冲激光诱导击穿2519A铝合金产生等离子体光谱,采用光谱仪检测和记录了Al和Cu的原子谱线,并研究了不同实验参数或条件对该谱线的影响。结果表明,透镜到样品表面距离、探测角度、激光脉冲能量、观测高度和环境气压大小对实验分析性能,如谱线强度、信背比和实验可重复性等均有较大的影响,通过设置适当的实验条件可以获得最佳的实验结果。  相似文献

Output green laser characteristics, such as average power, single pulse energy, pulse width, repetition rate for different small-signal transmission of Cr4+ :YAG and different pump power, were measured. This paper presents a study of the effect of temperature in the machining of glass ceramic cooking plates by laser ablation. A Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at its fundamental wavelength of 1064 nm with pulsewidths in the nanosecond range was used. The beam was focalized and scanned over the surface covering an area of several squared millimetres. With the same irradiance and process parameters the rise of the surface temperature some hundreds of degrees changes drastically the ablation conditions. As temperature is risen the amount of particles ejected from the interaction zone diminishes, recasting over the processed area generating a white and foamy self-layer.The size of the ejected particles and the morphology, composition and microstructure of the new layer is described. This layer could be used to change the thermal conductivity of the glass ceramic plate as well as for aesthetic purposes.  相似文献

By using both V3+:YAG and Co:LMA saturable absorbers, an xenon-lamp-pumped doubly passively Q-switched and mode-locked (QML) Nd:YAG laser at 1.3 μm in a straight cavity is realized for the first time. The modulation depth of QML pulse has nearly reached 100%. The experimental results shows that the doubly passively Q-switched and mode-locked (QML) laser can generate shorter Q-switch envelope pulse with higher average peak power in comparison to the singly passively QML laser with V3+:YAG or Co:LMA saturable absorber.  相似文献

利用激光诱导击穿光谱定量分析了铝合金中多种元素的成分。采用Nd∶YAG脉冲激光器,在空气环境下烧蚀铝合金固体样品获得等离子体。利用多通道光栅光谱仪和CCD检测器对200~980 nm波长范围的光谱进行同时检测。研究了检测时延、激光脉冲能量、元素深度分布对光谱强度的影响,考虑这些因素之后对实验参数进行了优化。在优化的实验参数下对国家标准铝合金样品中的八种元素Si,Fe,Cu,Mn,Mg,Zn,Sn及Ni进行了定标,并利用定标曲线对一种铝合金样品进行了定量分析。实验结果表明,测量结果的相对标准偏差(RSD)最大为5.89%,相对误差在-20.99%~15%范围内,说明对铝合金样品成分进行定量分析,激光诱导击穿光谱是一种有效的光谱分析工具,但是分析结果的准确度仍需要提高。  相似文献

We report, for what we believe to be the first time, on remote imaging laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). Measurements have been performed by using a tripled Nd:YAG laser working at 355 nm with 170 mJ pulse energy, with an expanded beam that is focused onto a target at 60 m distance. The LIBS signal is detected by using an on-axis Newtonian telescope and an optical multichannel analyzer. The imaging is performed by scanning the laser beam on the target. The same setup is also used in demonstrations of remote laser ablation for cleaning of contaminated objects with applications toward cultural heritage.  相似文献

A quasi-continuous-wave intracavity frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser which operates at 660 nm is studied.By using a flat-flat laser cavity, 2 Kr-lamps, KTP crystal and an acousto-optically Q-switch, 2-W outputpower at 660 nm is obtained.
