Graphene/p-aminobenzoic acid composite film modified glassy carbon electrode (Gr/p-ABA/GCE) was first employed for the sensitive determination of dopamine (DA). The electrochemical behavior of DA at the modified electrode was investigated by cyclic voltametry (CV), differential pulse voltametry (DPV) and amperometric curve. The oxidation peak currents of DA increased dramatically at Gr/p-ABA/GCE. The modified electrode was used to electrochemically detect dopamine (DA) in the presence of ascorbic acid (AA). The Gr/p-ABA composite film showed excellent electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of DA in phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.5). The peak separation between DA and AA was large up to 220 mV. Using DPV technique, the calibration curve for DA determination was obtained in the range of 0.05-10 μM. The detection limit for DA was 20 nM. AA did not interfere with the determination of DA because of the very distinct attractive interaction between DA cations and the negatively Gr/p-ABA composite film. The proposed method exhibited good stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

We report a new method for selective determination of acetaminophen (AP) in physiological condition. A new hybrid film modified electrode was fabricated using inorganic semiconducting nano-TiO(2) particles and redox active polymer. Redox polymer, poly(acid yellow 9) (PAY) was electrochemically deposited onto nano-TiO(2) coated glassy carbon (GC) electrode. Surface characterizations of modified electrode were investigated by using atomic force microscope and scanning electron microscope. The PAY/nano-TiO(2)/GC hybrid electrode shows stable redox response in the pH range 1-12 and exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activities towards AP in 0.1M phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.0). Consequently, a simple and sensitive electroanalytical method was developed for the determination of AP. The oxidation peak current was proportional to the concentration of acetaminophen from 1.2 x 10(-5) to 1.20 x 10(-4)M and the detection limit was found to be 2.0 x 10(-6)M (S/N=3). Possible interferences were tested and evaluated that it could be possible to selective detection of AP in the presences of dopamine, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), ascorbic acid and uric acid. The proposed method was used to detect acetaminophen in commercial drugs and the obtained results are satisfactory.  相似文献

A beta-cyclodextrin-coated electrode incorporating carbon nanotubes was constructed and applied to the detection of uric acid in the presence of high concentration of ascorbic acid. The major obstacle of the overlapped oxidation potential of ascorbic acid was overcome owing to the distinct ability of the carbon nanotubes-modified electrode to yield a large anodic peak difference ca. 400 mV. The sensitive detection of uric acid has been further improved by the formation of a supramolecular complex between beta-cyclodextrin and uric acid. A linear calibration curve was obtained for 5 x 10(-7) to 5 x 10(-5) M in 0.2 M HAc-NaAc buffer (pH 4.5) with correlation coefficient of 0.998 and detection limit of 0.2 microM. The practical analytical application was illustrated by a selective measurement of uric acid in human urine without any preliminary treatment.  相似文献

A reliable and reproducible method for the determination of uric acid in urine samples has been developed. The method is based on the modification of a glassy carbon electrode by 3-acetylthiophene using cyclic voltammetry. The poly(3-acetylthiophene) modified glassy carbon electrode showed an excellent electrocatalytic effect towards the oxidation of uric acid in 0.1 m phosphate buffer solution (PBS) at pH 7.2. Compared with a bare glassy carbon electrode (GCE), an obvious shift of the oxidation peak potential in the cathodic direction and a marked enhancement of the anodic current response for uric acid were observed. The poly(3-acetylthiophene)/GCE was used for the determination of uric acid using square wave voltammetry. The peak current increased linearly with the concentration of uric acid in the range of 1.25 x 10(-5)-1.75 x 10(-4) M. The detection limit was 5.27 x 10(-7) M by square wave voltammetry. The poly(3-acetylthiophene)/GCE was also effective to determine uric acid and ascorbic acid in a mixture and resolved the overlapping anodic peaks of these two species into two well-defined voltammetric peaks in cyclic voltammetry at 0.030 V and 0.320 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) for ascorbic acid and uric acid, respectively. The modified electrode exhibited stable and sensitive current responses toward uric acid and ascorbic acid. The method has successfully been applied for determination of uric acid in urine samples.  相似文献

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene-co-(5-amino-2-naphthalenesulfonic acid)) (PEDOT-PANS) film modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared by electrochemical polymerization technique. The properties of modified electrode was studied. It was found that the electrochemical properties of modified electrode was very much dependent on the experimental conditions, such as monomer oxidation potential and pH. The modified electrode surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The PEDOT-PANS film modified electrode shows electrocatalytic activity toward oxidation of dopamine (DA) in acetate buffer solution (pH 5.0) and results in a marked enhancement of the current response. The linear sweep voltammetric (LSV) peak heights are linear with DA concentration from 2 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−5 M. The detection limit is 5 × 10−7 M. More over, the interferences of ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) were effectively diminished. This work provides a simple and easy approach for selective determination of dopamine in the presence of ascorbic acid and uric acid.  相似文献

Trans-3-(3-pyridyl) acrylic acid (PAA) was deposited on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by electropolymerization in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution (PBS). The poly (3-(3-pyridyl) acrylic acid) (PPAA) film modified glassy carbon electrode shows an excellent electrochemical response for dopamine (DA), ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA). The cyclic voltammetry oxidation peaks for DA and AA, DA and UA, AA and UA are separated by 150 mV, 130 mV and 280 mV, respectively. This permits the simultaneous determination of AA, DA and UA. The interference of AA with the determination of DA could be eliminated because of the electrostatic interaction between DA cations and the negatively charged PPAA film at pH 7.0. The anodic peak currents of DA, AA and UA increase linearly with concentration in the range of 1-40 micromol L(-1), 10-400 micromol L(-1) and 1.6-80 micromol L(-1), respectively, with a correlation coefficient (r) always higher than 0.998. The detection limit is 0.06 micromol L(-1), 0.8 micromol L(-1) and 1.1 micromol L(-1) for DA, AA and UA, respectively.  相似文献

This paper describes the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA) and xanthine (XN) using an ultrathin electropolymerized film of 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole (p-ATD) modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode in 0.20 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 5.0). Bare GC electrode failed to resolve the voltammetric signals of AA, DA, UA and XN in a mixture. On the other hand, the p-ATD modified electrode separated the voltammetric signals of AA, DA, UA and XN with potential differences of 110, 152 and 392 mV between AA-DA, DA-UA and UA-XN, respectively and also enhanced their oxidation peak currents. The modified electrode could sense 5 μM DA and 10 μM each UA and XN even in the presence of 200 μM AA. The oxidation currents were increased from 30 to 300 μM for AA, 5 to 50 μM for DA and 10 to 100 μM for each UA and XN, and the lowest detection limit was found to be 2.01, 0.33, 0.19 and 0.59 μM for AA, DA, UA and XN, respectively (S/N = 3). The practical application of the present modified electrode was demonstrated by the determination of AA, UA and XN in human urine samples.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective electrochemical method for the determination of norepinephrine using a poly (Evans Blue) film-modified glassy carbon electrode was developed. The polymer film-modified electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of norepinephrine (NE) in phosphate buffer solution (pH 5.0). The linear range of 5.0 × 10−7–1.8 × 10−5 M and detection limit of 3.5 × 10−8 M were observed for the determination of NE in pH 5.0 phosphate buffer solutions. The interference studies showed that the modified electrode had excellent selectivity for the determination of NE in the presence of large excess of ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA). The differences of the oxidation peak potentials for NE-AA and NE-UA were about 175 and 172 mV, respectively. The resolution is large enough to determine AA, NE and UA individually. This work provides a simple and easy approach to selective detection of NE in the presence of AA and UA in physiological samples. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

Here, we described a new method for electrochemically selective detection of dopamine (DA). In this report, for the first time, electrochemical polymerization of 4-amino-1-1'-azobenzene-3,4'-disulfonic acid (acid yellow 9 dye (AY)) was carried out onto the surface of glassy carbon (GC) electrode and indium tin oxide coated electrode (ITO) from acidic solution containing AY monomers. A polymerized film of acid yellow on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The redox response of the poly(AY) film on the GC electrode showed a couple of redox peak in 0.1M sulfuric acid solution and the pH dependent peak potential was -58mV/pH which was close to the Nernst behavior. The poly(AY) film-coated GC electrode (GC/PAY) exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidations of dopamine (DA) in 0.1M phosphate buffer solution (PBS, pH 7.0) and increased the anodic peak current three time higher than bare GC electrode. GC/PAY did not reduce the considerable overpotential for oxidation of DA when compare to bare GC electrode. However, in contrast to other polymer modified electrode, due to the strong negatively charged back bone of poly(AY) highly repelled the important interference of DA, such as ascorbic acid (AA), uric acid (UA) and reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) in 0.1M PBS (pH 7.0) and did not showed any response for oxidation of these interferences. This behavior makes the GC/PAY for selective detection of DA in the presence of higher concentrations AA, UA and NADH. Using differential pulse voltammetry the calibration curves for DA were obtained over the range of 1-100muM with good selectivity and sensitivity. The proposed method provides a simple method for selective detection of DA from its interferences.  相似文献

A highly selective dopamine quantification at a new polymer-modified electrode in the presence of large excess of ascorbic acid and 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl acetic acid (dopac) is described. The electrochemical detection was performed at a glassy carbon electrode modified with a melanin-type polymer obtained by polymerization of 3.0×10−3 M -dopa in 0.050 M phosphate buffer solution pH 7.40 by applying 1.00 V for 60 min. The polymeric film exhibits attractive permselectivity excluding anionic species such as potassium ferricyanide, ascorbic acid, dopac and uric acid. Cationic species such as epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine and neutral ones such as catechol and hydrogen peroxide can be oxidized at the polymer-modified electrode. The use of ascorbic acid in the measurement solution allows the amplification of dopamine oxidation signal due to the reduction of the electrochemically generated dopaminequinone. By using 1.0×10−3 M ascorbic acid, the detection limit for dopamine is 5.0 nM. The interference for the maximum physiological concentrations of ascorbic acid and dopac in nervous centers, i.e. 500 μM ascorbic acid and 50 μM dopac is 8.1 and 1.4%, respectively.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode modified with electropolymerized fills of isonicotinic acid was developed. The modified electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of both dopamine(DA)and epinephrine(EP).Separation of the reduction peak potentials for dopamine and epinephrine was about 357 mV in pH 5.3 phosphate buffer solution(PBS)and the character was used for the detection DA and EP simultaneously. The peak currents increase linearly with DA and EP concentration over the range of 8.0×10-5 to 7.0×10-4 mol/L and 5.0×10-6 to 1.0×10-4 mol/L with detection limits of 2 × 10-5 and 1×10-6 mol/L,respectively.The interference studies showed that the modified electrode exhibits excellent selectivity in the presence of large excess of ascorbic acid(AA).

The present study reports the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) in 0.20 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 5.0) using electropolymerized ultrathin film of 5-amino-2-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (AMT) on glassy carbon (GC) electrode. The bare GC electrode does not separate the voltammetric signals of AA, DA and UA. However, electropolymerized AMT (p-AMT) modified GC electrode not only resolved the voltammetric signals of AA, DA and UA but also dramatically enhanced their oxidation peak currents when compared to bare GC electrode. The enhanced oxidation currents for AA, DA and UA at p-AMT modified electrode are due to the electrostatic interactions between them and the polymer film. Using amperometric method, we achieved the lowest detection of 75 nM AA, 40 nM DA and 60 nM UA at p-AMT modified electrode. The amperometric current was linearly increased from 200 nM to 0.80 mM for each AA, DA and UA and the lowest detection limit was found to be 0.92, 0.07 and 0.57 nM, respectively (S/N = 3). The practical application of the modified electrode was demonstrated by the determination of DA in dopamine hydrochloride injection.  相似文献

An electrochemically prepared thin film of cobalt pentacyanonitrosylferrate (GC/CoPCNF) was used as a surface modifier for glassy carbon electrodes. The oxidation of ascorbic acid on a glassy carbon electrode modified with GC/CoPCNF as a working electrode was studied using cyclic voltammetry, rotating disk electrode (RDE) voltammetry and chronoamperometry in a 0.25 M KNO3 + 0.25 M phosphate buffer (pH 7) solution. The glassy carbon modified with CoPCNF showed good electrocatalytic activity toward ascorbic acid oxidation. The kinetics of the catalytic reaction was investigated, and the average value of the rate constant (k) for the catalytic reaction and the diffusion coefficient (D) were evaluated by different approaches for ascorbic acid, and were found to be 3.3 +/- 0.3 x 10(2) M(-1) s(-1) and 3.2 +/- 0.3 x 10(-6) cm2 s(-1), respectively.  相似文献

A poly(2-picolinic acid) chemically modified electrode (CME) for the determination of dopamine (DA) by cyclic voltammetry is described. Compared with a bare glassy carbon electrode, the CME exhibits a 200 mV shift of the oxidation potential of DA in the cathodic direction and a marked enhancement of the current response. In pH 7.0 buffer solution, a linear calibration graph is obtained over the range from 2.5 x 10(-7) to 1.0 x 10(-5) mol dm-3 with a correlation coefficient of 0.998. The detection limit is 3.0 x 10(-8) mol dm-3. The modified electrode eliminated efficiently the interference from ascorbic acid (AA) when present in a 150-fold concentration ratio. It also showed excellent stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

A dopamine polymer film was prepared ex situ on a bare gold template from a 10 mM dopamine solution in phosphate buffer, pH 7 followed by an overoxidation in 500 mM NaOH. The modified electrode was used for quantitative determination of epinephrine. A linear relationship between epinephrine concentration and current response was obtained in the range between 2 μM and 800 μM with the detection limit of 0.3 μM. The results have shown that using the overoxidized dopamine film it is possible to perform electrochemical analysis of epinephrine without interference of ascorbic and uric acids.  相似文献

A simple modified TiO(2) nanotubes electrode was fabricated by electrodeposition of Pd, Pt and Au nanoparticles. The TiO(2) nanotubes electrode was prepared using the anodizing method, followed by modifying Pd nanoparticles onto the tubes surface, offering a uniform conductive surface for electrodeposition of Pt and Au. The performance of the modified electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry methods. The Au/Pt/Pd/TiO(2) NTs modified electrode represented a high sensitivity towards individual detection of dopamine as well as simultaneous detection of dopamine and uric acid using 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.00) as the base solution. In both case, electro-oxidation peak currents of dopamine were linearly related to accumulated concentration over a wide concentration range of 5.0 × 10(-8) to 3.0 × 10(-5) M. However in the same range of dopamine concentration, the sensitivity had a significant loss at Pt/Pd/TiO(2) NTs electrode, suggesting the necessity for Au nanoparticles in modified electrode. The limit of the detection was determined as 3 × 10(-8) M for dopamine at signal-to-noise ratio equal to 3. Furthermore, the Au/Pt/Pd/TiO(2) NTs modified electrode was able to distinguish the oxidation response of dopamine, uric acid and ascorbic acid in mixture solution of different acidity. It was shown that the modified electrode possessed a very good reproducibility and long-term stability. The method was also successfully applied for determination of DA in human urine samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this paper electropolymerization of a thin film of para‐phenylenediamine (PPD) is studied at glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in sulfuric acid media by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that this polymer was conducting and had a reproducible redox couple in the potential region from 0.0 to 0.4 V in phosphate buffer solution. This modified GCE (p‐PPD‐GCE) was applied for simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The p‐PPD‐GCE in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 5.0) separated the DPV signals of AA, DA and UA with sufficient potential differences between AA–DA and DA–UA and also enhanced their oxidation peak currents. The oxidation currents were increased from 2.0 to 2000.0 µM for AA, 10.0 to 1250.0 µM for DA and 50.0 to 1600.0 µM for UA. The detection limits were evaluated as 0.4, 1.0 and 2.5 µM for AA, DA and UA, respectively (S/N=3).  相似文献

The present work reports a quercetin-modified wax-impregnated graphite electrode (Qu/WGE) prepared through an electrochemical oxidation procedure in quercetin-containing phosphate buffer solution (PBS), for the purpose of detecting uric acid (UA) in the presence of ascorbic acid (AA). During modification quercetin was oxidized to the corresponding quinonic structure, and in the blank buffer solution the electrodeposited film exhibits a voltammetric response anticipated for the surface-immobilized quercetin. Retarding effect of the film towards the reaction of anionic species was found; therefore the pH of sample solutions was selected to ensure the analyte in molecular form. At suitable pHs the Qu/WGE shows excellent electrocatalytic effect towards the oxidation of both AA and UA, and separates the voltammetric signal of UA from AA by about 280 mV, allowing simultaneous detection of these two species. A linear relation between the peak current and concentration was obtained for UA in the range of 1-50 μM in the presence of 0.5 mM AA, with a detection limit 1.0 μM (S/N = 3). This sensor was stable, reproducible and outstanding for long-term use.  相似文献
