In this paper, we investigate the dynamical properties for a model of delay differential equations, which describes a virus‐immune interaction in vivo. By analyzing corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of the equilibria for infection‐free, antibody‐free, and antibody response and the existence of Hopf bifurcation with antibody response delay as a bifurcation parameter at the antibody‐activated infection equilibrium are established, respectively. Global stability of the equilibria for infection‐free, antibody‐free, and antibody response, respectively, also are established by applying the Lyapunov functionals method. The numerical simulations are performed in order to illustrate the dynamical behavior of the model. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the diffusion is introduced to an immunosuppressive infection model with delayed antiviral immune response. The direction and stability of Hopf bifurcation are effected by time delay, in the absence of which the positive equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable by means of analyzing eigenvalue spectrum; however, when the time delay increases beyond a threshold, the positive equilibrium loses its stability via the Hopf bifurcation. The stability and direction of the Hopf bifurcation is investigated with the norm form and the center manifold theory. The stability of the Hopf bifurcation leads to the emergence of spatial spiral patterns. Numerical calculations are performed to illustrate our theoretical results. In this paper, the dynamics behavior of a delayed viral infection model with logistic growth and immune impairment is studied. It is shown that there exist three equilibria. By analyzing the characteristic equations, the local stability of the infection-free equilibrium and the immune-exhausted equilibrium of the model are established. By using suitable Lyapunov functional and LaSalle invariant principle, it is proved that the two equilibria are globally asymptotically stable. In the following, the stability of the positive equilibrium is investigated. Furthermore, we investigate the existence of Hopf bifurcation by using a delay as a bifurcation parameter. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to explain the mathematical conclusions.  相似文献

In this paper, a reaction‐diffusion predator–prey system that incorporates the Holling‐type II and a modified Leslie‐Gower functional responses is considered. For ODE, the local stability of the positive equilibrium is investigated and the specific conditions are obtained. For partial differential equation, we consider the dissipation and persistence of solutions, the Turing instability of the equilibrium solutions, and the Hopf bifurcation. By calculating the normal form, we derive the formulae, which can determine the direction and the stability of Hopf bifurcation according to the original parameters of the system. We also use some numerical simulations to illustrate our theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the dynamical behavior of a virus dynamics model with CTL immune response and time delay is studied. Time delay is used to describe the time between the infected cell and the emission of viral particles on a cellular level. The effect of time delay on stability of the equilibria of the CTL immune response model has been studied and sufficient criteria for local asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium, immune-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium and global asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium are given. Some conditions for Hopf bifurcation around immune-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium to occur are also obtained by using the time delay as a bifurcation parameter. Numerical simulation with some hypothetical sets of data has been done to support the analytical findings.  相似文献

In this paper, a two‐neuron network with both discrete and distributed delays is considered. With the corresponding characteristic equation analyzed, the local stability of the trivial equilibrium is investigated. With the discrete time delay taken as a bifurcation parameter, the existence of Hopf bifurcation is established. Moreover, formulae for determining the direction of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions are derived. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the main results and further to exhibit that there is a characteristic sequence of bifurcations leading to a chaotic dynamics, which implies that the system admits rich and complex dynamics. A delayed SVEIRS model for the transmission of worms in internet with partial immunization is proposed. The impact of the possible combination of the two delays on the model is investigated. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations and regarding the possible combination of the two delays as the bifurcation parameter, local stability of the endemic equilibrium and existence of local Hopf bifurcation at the viral equilibrium are addressed, respectively. Further, explicit formulas that determine direction and stability of the Hopf bifurcation are derived with the help of the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. Finally, some numerical simulations are carried out to verify the obtained theoretical findings.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a viral infection model with an immunity time delay accounting for the time between the immune system touching antigenic stimulation and generating CTLs. By calculation, we derive two thresholds to determine the global dynamics of the model, i.e., the reproduction number for viral infection $R_{0}$ and for CTL immune response $R_{1}$. By analyzing the characteristic equation, the local stability of each feasible equilibrium is discussed. Furthermore, the existence of Hopf bifurcation at the CTL-activated infection equilibrium is also studied. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals, we prove that when $R_{0}\leq1$, the infection-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable; when $R_{0}>1$ and $R_{1}\leq1$, the CTL-inactivated infection equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable; Numerical simulation is carried out to illustrate the main results in the end.  相似文献

A predator-prey system with disease in the prey is considered. Assume that the incidence rate is nonlinear, we analyse the boundedness of solutions and local stability of equilibria, by using bifurcation methods and techniques, we study Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation near a boundary equilibrium, and obtain a saddle-node bifurcation curve, a Hopf bifurcation curve and a homoclinic bifurcation curve. The Hopf bifurcation and generalized Hopf bifurcation near the positive equilibrium is analyzed, one or two limit cycles is also discussed.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the local stability of a positive equilibrium and the Hopf bifurcation of a delayed three-species food-chain system with the Holling type-II functional response. Some new sufficient conditions ensuring the local stability of a positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation for the system are established. Some explicit formulae are derived to determine the direction of bifurcations and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions using the normal form theory and the centre manifold theory. Numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, biological explanations and main conclusions are included.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of more general viral infection model with delayed non-lytic immune response is proposed based on some important biological meanings. The sufficient criteria for local and global asymptotic stabilities of the viral free equilibrium are given. And the stability and Hopf bifurcation of the infected equilibrium have been studied. Numerical simulations are carried out to explain the mathematical conclusions, and the effects of the birth rate of susceptible T cells and the efficacy of the non-lytic component on the stabilities of the positive equilibrium $\bar{E}$ are also studied by numerical simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, an age‐structured population model with the form of neutral functional differential equation is studied. We discuss the stability of the positive equilibrium by analyzing the characteristic equation. Local Hopf bifurcation results are also obtained by choosing the mature delay as bifurcation parameter. On the center manifold, the normal form of the Hopf bifurcation is derived, and explicit formulae for determining the criticality of bifurcation are theoretically given. Moreover, the global continuation of Hopf bifurcating periodic solutions is investigated by using the global Hopf bifurcation theory of neutral equations. Finally, some numerical examples are carried out to support the main results.  相似文献

In the paper we present known and new results concerning stability and the Hopf bifurcation for the positive steady state describing a chronic disease in Marchuk's model of an immune system. We describe conditions guaranteeing local stability or instability of this state in a general case and for very strong immune system. We compare these results with the results known in the literature. We show that the positive steady state can be stable only for very specific parameter values. Stability analysis is illustrated by Mikhailov's hodographs and numerical simulations. Conditions for the Hopf bifurcation and stability of arising periodic orbit are also studied. These conditions are checked for arbitrary chosen realistic parameter values. Numerical examples of arising due to the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions are presented.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a predator–prey system with Holling II functional response and hunting delay and gestation. By regarding the sum of delays as the bifurcation parameter, the local stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation are investigated. We obtained explicit formulas to determine the properties of Hopf bifurcation by using the normal form method and center manifold theorem. Special attention is paid to the global continuation of local Hopf bifurcation. Using a global Hopf bifurcation result of Wu [Wu JH. Symmetric functional differential equations and neural networks with memory, Trans Amer Math Soc 1998;350:4799–4838] for functional differential equations, we may show the global existence of the periodic solutions. Finally, several numerical simulations illustrating the theoretical analysis are also given.  相似文献

Inspired by a simulation specific to a delayed HIV model with stage-structure, some dynamic behaviors are studied in this paper, including global stability of disease-free equilibrium and local Hopf bifurcation when taking the delay as a parameter. The corresponding characteristic equation is a transcendental equation, with the parameters delay-dependent, thus we use the conventional analysis introduced by Beretta and Kuang to obtain sufficient conditions to the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Then some properties of Hopf bifurcation such as direction, stability and period are determined, and several examples illustrate our results.  相似文献

This paper reports the nonlinear dynamics of a novel three-scroll chaotic system. The local stability of hyperbolic equilibrium and non-hyperbolic equilibrium are investigated by using center manifold theorem. Pitchfork bifurcation, degenerate pitchfork bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation are analyzed when the parameters are varied in the space of parameter. For a suitable choice of the parameters, the existence of singularly degenerate heteroclinic cycles and Hopf bifurcation without parameters are also investigated. Some numerical simulations are given to support the analytic results.  相似文献
