The lowest-energy structures and the electronic properties of Mo2nNn(n=1-5) clusters have been studied by using the density functional theory(DFT) simulating package DMol 3 in the generalized gradient approximation(GGA).The resulting equilibrium geometries show that the lowest-energy structures are dominated by central cores which correspond to the ground states of Mo n(n = 2,4,6,8,10) clusters and nitrogen atoms which surround these cores.The average binding energy,the adiabatic electron affinity(AEA),the vertical electron affinity(VEA),the adiabatic ionization potential(AIP) and the vertical ionization potential(VIP) of Mo2nNn(n=1-5) clusters have been estimated.The HOMO-LUMO gaps reveal that the clusters have strong chemical activities.An analysis of Mulliken charge distribution shows that charge-transfer moves from Mo atoms to N atoms and increases with cluster size.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论(DFT)中的B3LYP方法,在LANL2DZ基组水平上对WnNim(n+m=8)团簇的各种可能构型进行了几何参数全优化,得到了它们的基态构型;并对基态构型的偶极距、极化率、红外光谱和拉曼光谱性质进行了分析,结果表明:团簇WnNim(n+m=8)都具有极性,富W团簇非线性光学效应强,容易被外加场极化;振动频率主要分布在0-350 cm-1范围内,团簇W4Ni4因其振动方式的特殊性,红外光谱和拉曼光谱在频率421.971 cm-1处,都有明显强峰;团簇W5Ni3因其结构的高对称性在振动光谱中出现多处共振现象.  相似文献

Employing the density functional theory, we investigate the lowest-energy geometric, the stable and the electronic properties of Agn-1Y (n=2-10) clusters in this paper. The structural optimization and the frequency analysis are performed at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ level. Meanwhile, the differences in geometry, stability and electronic properties between Agn and Agn-1Y (n=2-10) clusters are also studied. The results show that for the doping of the yttrium atoms, the structures and the average binding lengths of the Agn clusters are greatly changed. In addition, the thermodynamic stabilities of the Agn clusters are enhanced generally with the doping of the Y atoms. In addition, the chemical stabilities of the Agn-1Y clusters are still improved compared with that of the three-dimensional Agn clusters.  相似文献

利用密度泛函理论在B3LYP/6-311G*水平上对叠氮化合物(HMgN3)n(n=1–5)团簇各种可能构型进行了几何优化,预测了各团簇的最稳定结构. 并对最稳定结构的成键特性、电荷分布、振动特性及稳定性进行理论研究. 结果表明:HMgN3团簇最稳定结构为直线型;(HMgN3)n(n=2,5)团簇最稳定结构为叠氮基中N原子和金属原子相连构成Mg–N–Mg结构;(HMgN3)n(n=3,4)团簇最稳定结构为叠氮基与Mg原子相互链接形成的环状结构. 团簇最稳定结构中金属Mg原子均显示正电性,H原子均显示负电性,叠氮基中间的N原子显示正电性、两端的N原子显示负电性,且与Mg原子直接作用的N原子负电性更强. Mg–N键和Mg–H键为典型的离子键,叠氮基内N原子之间是共价键. 团簇最稳定结构的红外光谱分为三部分,其最强振动峰均位于2258–2347 cm-1,振动模式为叠氮基中N–N键的反对称伸缩振动. 叠氮基在团簇和晶体中结构不变,始终以直线型存在. 稳定性分析显示,(HMgN3)3团簇相对于其他团簇更为稳定. 关键词: 3)n(n=1–5)团簇')" href="#">(HMgN3)n(n=1–5)团簇 叠氮基 密度泛函理论 结构与性质  相似文献

Using the meta-generalized gradient approximation (meta-GGA) exchange correlation TPSS functional, the geo- metric structures, the relative stabilities, and the electronic properties of bimetallic Ag n X (X=Au, Cu; n=1–8) clusters are systematically investigated and compared with those of pure silver clusters. The optimized structures show that the transition point from preferentially planar to three-dimensional structure occurs at n = 6 for the Ag n Au clusters, and at n = 5 for Ag n Cu clusters. For different-sized Ag n X clusters, one X (X=Au or Cu) atom substituted Ag n+1 structure is a dominant growth pattern. The calculated fragmentation energies, second-order differences in energies, and the highest occupied molecular orbital–lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (HOMO–LUMO) energy gaps show interesting odd–even oscillation behaviours, indicating that Ag 2,4,6,8 and Ag 1,3,5,7 X (X=Au, Cu) clusters keep high stabilities in comparison with their neighbouring clusters. The natural population analysis reveals that the charges transfer from the Ag n host to the impurity atom except for the Ag 2 Cu cluster. Moreover, vertical ionization potential (VIP), vertical electronic affinity (VEA), and chemical hardness (η) are discussed and compared in depth. The same odd–even oscillations are found for the VIP and η of the Ag n X (X=Au, Cu; n=1–8) clusters.  相似文献

We investigate the area distribution of clusters (loops) for the honeycomb O(n) loop model by means of worm algorithm with n=0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2. At the critical point, the number of clusters, whose enclosed area is greater than A, is proportional to A-1 with a proportionality constant C. We confirm numerically that C is universal, and its value agrees well with the predictions based on the Coulomb gas method.  相似文献

The notions of D-computable state and D-concurrence are generalized to the C M C N system. A class of D-computable state on C M C N is given and the calculating method of the lower bound of D-concurrence is provided. The obvious expression of the lower bound of D-concurrence for the state mixed by two D-pure states is derived. The reaction cross-sections of 124Xe(n, 2n)123Xe, 126Xe(n, 2n)125Xe, 128Xe(n, 2n)127Xe, 130Xe(n, 2n)129mXe, 132Xe(n, 2n)131mXe, 130Xe(n, p)130I, 131Xe(n, p)131I, and 132Xe(n, p)132I were measured at the 13.5, 13.8, 14.1, 14.4, and 14.8 MeV neutron energies. The monoenergetic neutrons were generated via the 3H(d,n)4He reaction at the China Academy of Engineering Physics using the K-400 Neutron Generator with a solid 3H-Ti target. A high-purity germanium detector was employed to measure the activities of the product. The reactions 93Nb(n, 2n)92mNb and 27Al(n, α)24Na were adopted for neutron flux calibration. The cross sections of the (n, 2n) and (n, p) reactions of the xenon isotopes were obtained within the 13–15 MeV neutron energy range. These cross-sections were then compared with the IAEA-exchange format (EXFOR) database-derived experimental data, together with the evaluation results of the CENDL-3, ENDF/B-VIII.0, JENDL-4.0, RUSFOND, and JEFF-3.3 data libraries, as well as the theoretical excitation function obtained using the TALYS-1.95 code. The cross-sections of the reactions (except for the 124Xe(n, 2n)123Xe and 132Xe(n, p)132I) at 13.5, 13.8, and 14.1 MeV are reported for the first time in this study. The obtained results are beneficial in providing better cross-section constraints for the reactions in the 13–15 MeV region, thus improving the quality of the corresponding database. Meanwhile, these data can also be used for the verification of relevant nuclear reaction model parameters.  相似文献

The equilibrium structures and the electronic, spectroscopic and thermodynamic properties of small Pun (n=2-5) molecules are systematically investigated using the methods of general gradient approximation (GGA) of density functional theory (DFT). The results show that the bond length of the lowest-energy structure of Pu2 is 2.578 AA. The ground state structure of Pu3 is a triangle with D3h symmetry, whereas for Pu4, the ground state structure is a square (D4h) and the spin polarization of 16 for molecule Pu5 with square geometry (D4h) is the most stable structure. For the ground state structures, the vibrational spectra as well as thermodynamic parameters are worked out. In addition, the values for the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) along with the energy gap of all the Pu2-5 structures are presented. The relevant structural and chemical stabilities are predicted.  相似文献

The geometries of MgnNi2 (n=1-6) clusters are studied by using the hybrid density functional theory (B3LYP) with LANL2DZ basis sets. For the ground-state structures of MgnNi2 clusters, the stabilities and the electronic properties are investigated. The results show that the groundstate structures and symmetries of Mg clusters change greatly due to the Ni atoms. The average binding energies have a growing tendency while the energy gaps have a declining tendency. In addition, the ionization energies exhibit an odd-even oscillation feature. We also conclude that n=3, 5 are the magic numbers of the MgnNi2 clusters. The Mg3 Ni2 and Mg5Ni2 clusters are more stable than neighbouring clusters, and the Mg4Ni2 cluster exhibits a higher chemical activity.  相似文献

This paper investigates the lowest-energy structures,stabilities and electronic properties of (BAs) n clusters (n=1-14) by means of the density-functional theory.The results show that the lowest-energy structures undergo a structural change from two-dimensional to three-dimensional when n=4.With the increase of the cluster size (n 6),the (BAs) n clusters tend to adopt cage-like structures,which can be considered as being built from B 2 As 2 and six-membered rings with B-As bond alternative arrangement.The binding energy per atom,second-order energy differences,vertical electron affinity and vertical ionization potential are calculated and discussed.The caculated HOMO-LUMO gaps reveal that the clusters have typical semiconductor characteristics.The analysis of partial density of states suggests that there are strong covalence and molecular characteristics in the clusters.  相似文献

The quasi-two-dimensional magnetism in the layered transition metal compound (CnH2n+1NH3)2CuCl4 (n=10, 14) was investigated by means of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and superconducting quantum interference device measurements. A general formula for phonon-assisted n-photon absorption in solids is obtained by (n+1)-th order perturbation technique. The complicated calculation process for transition element of n-photon absorption is simply demonstrated by a diagram approach that is proposed in this work. We find that the transition element for the n-photon absorption has a simple form, i.e., it is just the first term of the n-th order fist kind Bessel function.  相似文献

Signals from ions forming in a supersonic molecular beam consisting of an argon-water vapor mixture are measured as functions of the exciting electron energy in the range to 120 eV. The thresholds of electron impact excitation of (H2O) n − 1H+ and Ar n (H2O m + clusters are determined for the first time. It is found that the proton-hydroxyl group binding energy decreases considerably both in the case of water molecule clustering and when mixed Ar n (H2O) m clusters arise.  相似文献

Recently the replica limit n = 0 of the U(n) and models have attracted interest since they describe the Anderson localization behaviour in the band-centre of a two-sublattice model. For n ≠ 0 the theories can be decomposed into one with symmetry U(1) and one for SU(n) and . This does not no longer hold for n = 0. We show how the beta-functions and zeta-functions for operators without derivatives can be obtained in this limit from those of SU(n) and and draw consequences for these functions in this limit.  相似文献

利用密度泛函理论和非平衡格林函数方法, 本文对小尺寸团簇Tan(B3N3H6)n+1 (n ≤ 4)的磁性和量子输运性质进行了系统的研究. 计算结果表明, 此类体系采用三明治结构作为其基态并且具有较高的稳定性. 体系的磁矩随团簇尺寸的增大而线性增大. 当把Tan(B3N3H6)n+1团簇耦合到Au电极上时, 形成的Au-Tan(B3N3H6)n+1-Au体系在有限偏压下展示出了较强的自旋过滤能力, 因而可以被看做是一类新型的低维自旋过滤器.  相似文献

This paper uses the density functional theory to analyse the stabilities,bond characters,static linear polarisabilities,and aromaticities of the ’in-out’ isomerism H n-60 @C n H 60 (n=70,72,74).The binding energies,C-H bond energies,and energy gaps explore that the ’in-out’ isometric perhydrogenation of C n (n=70,72,74) can remarkably improve the stabilities.The static linear polarisabilies of H n-60 @C n H 60 (n=70,72,74) are indeed relative to their shapes,while they show almost nonaromatic character.This study can suggest that the ’in-out’ isometric perhydrogenation of fullerenes could lead to the invention of entirely novel potential hydrogen storage nanomaterials.  相似文献

M2 is now widely used to characterize the quality of laser radiation. In the paraxial approach the inequality M21 holds, if M2 is defined by the second moments. Nevertheless, in some publications M2<1 is presented, either theoretically or experimentally (Wang et al., Optik 1995;100(1):8; Lu et al., Optik 1995;100(2):91; Wang et al., Optics and Laser Technology 1999;31:151). In particular, it is stated that for a superposition of axially shifted Gaussian spherical beams, M2 can become smaller than one (Wang et al., Optics and Laser Technology 1999;31:151).
