Cs2B2S4 – A Derivative of the Dimeric Metathioboric Acid Cs2B2S4 (structure: I41/acd; a = 7.270(1) Å, c = 35.737(7) Å; Z = 8; substructure: I4/mmm; a′ = 5.141(1) Å, c′ = 17.868(4) Å, Z = 2) is prepared by the reaction of cesium sulfide with stoichiometric amounts of boron and sulfur (effective molar ratio M:B:S = 2:2:4) at 600°C and subsequent annealing. The crystal structure contains isolated [B2S4]2? groups consisting of four-membered B2S2 rings with two exocyclic sulfur atoms on each of the boron atoms. The cesium cations are nine-coordinate between these rings. The structural feature of two edge-sharing BS3 groups forming an isolated anion appears for the first time in thioborate chemistry, although it is known as a part of the polymeric network in B2S3.  相似文献

Chalcogenohalogenogallates(III) and -indates(III): A New Class of Compounds for Elements of the Third Main Group. Preparation and Structure of [Ph4P]2[In2SX6], [Et4N]3[In3E3Cl6] · MeCN and [Et4N]3[Ga3S3Cl6] · THF (X = Cl, Br; E = S, Se) [In2SCl6]2?, [In2SBr6]2?, [In3S3Cl6]3?, [In3Se3Cl6]3?, and [Ga3S3Cl6]3? were synthesised as the first known chalcogenohalogeno anions of main group 3 elements. [Ph4P]2[In2SCl6] ( 1 ) (P1 ; a = 10.876(4) Å, b = 12.711(6) Å, c = 19.634(7) Å, α = 107.21(3)°, β = 96.80(3)°, γ = 109.78(3)°; Z = 2) and [Ph4P]2[In2SBr6] ( 2 ) (C2/c; a = 48.290(9) Å, b = 11.974(4) Å, c = 17.188(5) Å, β = 93.57(3)°, Z = 8) were prepared by reaction of InX3, (CH3)3SiSSi(CH3)3 and Ph4PX (X = Cl, Br) in acetonitrile. The reaction of MCl3 (M = Ga, In) with Et4NSH/Et4NSeH in acetonitrile gave [Et4N]3[In3S3Cl6] · MeCN ( 3 ) (P21/c; a = 17.328(4) Å, b = 12.694(3) Å, c = 21.409(4) Å, β = 112.18(1)°, Z = 4), [Et4N]3[In3Se3Cl6] · MeCN ( 4 ) (P21/c; a = 17.460(4) Å, b = 12.816(2) Å, c = 21.513(4) Å, β = 112.16(2)°, Z = 4), and [Et4N]3[Ga3S3Cl6] · THF ( 5 ) (P21/n; a = 11.967(3) Å, b = 23.404(9) Å, c = 16.260(3) Å, β = 90.75(2)°, Z = 4). The [In2SX6]2? anions (X = Cl, Br) in 1 and 2 consist of two InSX3 tetrahedra sharing a common sulfur atom. The frameworks of 3, 4 and 5 each contain a six-membered ring of alternating metal and chalcogen atoms. Two terminal chlorine atoms complete a distorted tetrahedral coordination sphere around each metal atom.  相似文献

The η2‐thio‐indium complexes [In(η2‐thio)3] (thio = S2CNC5H10, 2 ; SNC4H4, (pyridine‐2‐thionate, pyS, 3 ) and [In(η2‐pyS)22‐acac)], 4 , (acac: acetylacetonate) are prepared by reacting the tris(η2‐acac)indium complex [In(η2‐acac)3], 1 with HS2CNC5H10, pySH, and pySH with ratios of 1:3, 1:3, and 1:2 in dichloromethane at room temperature, respectively. All of these complexes are identified by spectroscopic methods and complexes 2 and 3 are determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Crystal data for 2 : space group, C2/c with a = 13.5489(8) Å, b = 12.1821(7) Å, c = 16.0893(10) Å, β = 101.654(1)°, V = 2600.9(3) Å3, and Z = 4. The structure was refined to R = 0.033 and Rw = 0.086; Crystal data for 3 : space group, P21 with a = 8.8064 (6) Å, b = 11.7047 (8) Å, c = 9.4046 (7) Å, β = 114.78 (1)°, V = 880.13(11) Å3, and Z = 2. The structure was refined to R = 0.030 and Rw = 0.061. The geometry around the metal atom of the two complexes is a trigonal prismatic coordination. Systematic studies on quaternary thio‐ and selenoborates containing heavier alkaline earth metal cations led to the two new isotypic crystalline phases Sr4.2Ba2.8(BS3)4S and Ba7(BSe3)4Se. Both compounds consist of trigonal‐planar BQ3 (Q = S, Se) units, isolated Q2– anions and the corresponding counter‐ions. The two new chalcogenoborates were prepared in solid state reactions from the metal sulfides (selenides), amorphous boron and sulfur (selenium). Evacuated carbon coated silica tubes were used as reaction vessels since temperatures up to 870 K were applied. Sr4.2Ba2.8(BS3)4S and Ba7(BSe3)4Se crystallize in the monoclinic space group C2/c (no. 15) with a = 9.902(3) Å, b = 23.504(9) Å, c = 9.884(3) Å, β = 90.01(3)° and Z = 4 in the case of the thioborate, while for the selenoborate the lattice parameters a = 10.513(2) Å, b = 25.021(5) Å, c = 10.513(2) Å, β = 90.10(3)° were determined. X‐ray powder patterns are compared to calculated diffraction data obtained from single crystal X‐ray structure determination.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Adducts [DB-18C6] · CH3CN · CH3CSOH and [DC-18C6](CH3CSOH)2 as well as of the Salt-like Compounds [Cs(B-15C5)2]CH3CSS and [Cs(DB-18C6)]2S5(DMF)21) The reaction products of crown ethers, cesium, and sulfur in aprotic solvents like acetonitrile and dimethylformamide strongly depend on the reaction conditions. Using CH3CN as a solvent, sometimes neutral host-guest adducts crystallize only, e.g., [dibenzo-18C6] · CH3CN · CH3CSOH (monoclinic, S. G. P21/c, Z = 4, a = 9.73(1) Å, b = 22.03(1) Å, c = 11.86(1) Å, β = 91.8(1)°) or [dicyclohexyl-18C6](CH3CSOH)2 (monoclinic, S. G. P21/n, Z = 2, a = 7.75(1) Å, b = 10.32(1) Å, c = 17.73(1) Å, β = 95.7(1)°). The monothioacetic acid, CH3CSOH, must be regarded as the first product of the hydrolysis of CH3CN. Furthermore, another product of this kind of hydrolysis, CH3CSSH, is obtained too. Therefore, we also obtain the salt-like compound [Cs(benzo-15C5)2]CH3CSS (monoclinic, S. G. C2/c, Z = 4, a = 16.05(1) Å, b = 16.73(1) Å, c = 13.11(1) Å, β = 106.3(1)°). If the solvent DMF is used, the pentasulfide [Cs(dibenzo-18C6)]2S5(DMF)2 crystallizes (monoclinic, S. G. P21/n, Z = 4, a = 14.79(1) Å, b = 14.24(1) Å, c = 25.74(1) Å, β = 92.7(1°. The S52? anions show the cis-conformation.  相似文献

The new compounds K6Nb4S22 and K6Ta4S22 ( I ) have been synthesised by the reaction of NbS2 or Ta metal in a K2S3 flux. Using TaS2 as educt a second modification of K6Ta4S22 ( II ) is obtained. K6Nb4S22 and K6Ta4S22 (form I ) crystallise in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 35.634 (2)Å, b = 7.8448 (4)Å, c = 12.1505 (5)Å, β = 100.853 (5)°, V = 3335.8 (3)Å3, and Z = 4 for K6Nb4S22 and a = 35.563 (7) Å, b = 7.836 (2)Å, c = 12.139 (2)Å, β = 100.56 (3)°, V = 3325.5 (2)Å3, and Z = 4 for K6Ta4S22 ( I ). The second modification K6Ta4S22 (form II ) crystallises in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 7.5835 (6)Å, b = 8.7115 (5)Å, c = 24.421 (2)Å, β = 98.733 (9)°, V = 1594.6 (2)Å3, and Z = 2. The structures consist of [M4S22]6— anions composed of two M2S11 sub‐units which are linked into M4S22 units via terminal sulfur ligands. The anions are well separated by the K+ cations. Differences between the structures of the title compounds and those with the heavier alkali cations Rb+ and Cs+ are caused by the different arrangement of the [M4S22]6— anions around the cations and the different S2—/S22— binding modes. The thermal behaviour of both modifications was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). From these investigations there is no hint for a polymorphic transition between the two forms. After heating crystals of form II above the melting point and cooling the melt to room temperature a crystalline powder of form I can be isolated.  相似文献

Sr3(BS3)2 and Sr3(B3S6)2: Two Novel Non‐oxidic Chalcogenoborates with Boron in a Trigonal‐Planar Coordination The thioborates Sr3(BS3)2 and Sr3(B3S6)2 were prepared from strontium sulfide, amorphous boron and sulfur in solid state reactions at a temperature of 1123 K. In a systematic study on the structural cation influence on this type of ternary compounds, the crystal structures were determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. Sr3(BS3)2 crystallizes in the monoclinic spacegroup C2/c (No. 15) with a = 10.187(4) Å, b = 6.610(2) Å, c = 15.411(7) Å, β = 102.24(3)° and Z = 4. The crystal structure of Sr3(B3S6)2 is trigonal, spacegroup R3¯ (Nr. 148), with a = 8.605(1) Å, c = 21.542(4) Å and Z = 3. Sr3(BS3)2 contains isolated [BS3]3— anions with boron in a trigonal‐planar coordination. The strontium cations are found between the layers of orthothioborate anions. Sr3(B3S6)2 consists of cyclic [B3S6]3— anions and strontium cations, respectively.  相似文献

Three Novel Selenoborato- closo -dodecaborates: Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Rb8[B12(BSe3)6], Rb4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6], and Cs4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] The three selenoborates Rb8[B12(BSe3)6] (P1, a = 10.512(5) Å, b = 10.450(3) Å, c = 10.946(4) Å, α = 104.53(3)°, β = 91.16(3)°, γ = 109.11(3)°, Z = 1), Cs4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] (P1, a = 9.860(2) Å, b = 10.740(2) Å, c = 11.078(2) Å, α = 99.94(3)°, β = 90.81(3)°, γ = 115.97(3)°, Z = 1), and Rb4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] (P1, a = 9.593(2) Å, b = 10.458(2) Å, c = 11.131(2) Å, α = 99.25(3)°, β = 91.16(3)°, γ = 116.30(3)°, Z = 1) were prepared from the metal selenides, amorphous boron and selenium by solid state reactions at 700 °C. These new chalcogenoborates contain B12 icosahedra completely saturated with six trigonal-planar BSe3 entities functioning as bidentate ligands to form a persubstituted closo-dodecaborate anion. The two isotypic compounds Rb4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] and Cs4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] are the first selenoborate structures containing a transition metal which are characterized by single crystal diffraction.  相似文献

Four new thioantimonate(III) compounds with the general formula [TM(tren)]Sb4S7, TM = Mn 1 , Fe 2 , Co 3 and Zn 4 , were synthesized under solvothermal conditions by reacting elemental TM, Sb and S in an aqueous solution of tren (tren = tris(2‐aminoethyl)amine). All compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/n with four formula units in the unit cell. Single crystal X‐ray analyses of 1 [a = 8.008(2), b = 10.626(2), c = 25.991(5) Å, β = 90.71(3)°, V = 2211.4(8) Å3], 2 [a = 8.0030(2), b = 10.5619(2), c = 25.955(5) Å, β = 90.809(3)°, V = 2193.69(8) Å3], 3 [a = 7.962(2), b = 10.541(2), c = 25.897(5) Å, β = 90.90(3)°, V = 2173.0(8) Å3] and 4 [a = 7.978(2), b = 10.625(2), c = 25.901(5) Å, β = 90.75(3)°, V = 2195.2(8) Å3] reveal that the compounds are isostructural. The [Sb4S7]2‐ anions are composed of three SbS3 trigonal pyramids and one SbS4 unit as primary building units (PBU). The PBUs share common edges and corners to form semicubes (Sb3S4) which may be regarded as secondary building units (SBU). The SBUs and SbS3 pyramids are joined in an alternating fashion yielding the equation/tex2gif-stack-1.gif[Sb4S7] anionic chain which is directed along [100]. Weaker Sb‐S bonding interactions between neighbored chains lead to the formation of layers within the (001) plane which contain pockets that are occupied by the cations. The TM2+ ions are in a trigonal bipyramidal environment of four N atoms of the tren ligand and one S atom of the thioantimonate(III) anion. The optical band gaps depend on the TM2+ ion and amount to 3.11 eV for 1 , 2.04 eV for 2 , 2.45 eV for 3 , and 2.60 eV for 4 .  相似文献

The orthothioborates Na3BS3, K3BS3 and Rb3BS3 were prepared from the metal sulfides, amorphous boron and sulfur in solid state reactions at temperatures between 923 and 973 K. In a systematic study on the structural cation influence on this type of ternary compounds, the crystal structures were determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction experiments. Na3BS3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15) with a = 11.853(14) Å, b = 6.664(10) Å, c = 8.406(10) Å, β = 118.18(2)° and Z = 4. K3BS3 and Rb3BS3 are monoclinic, space group P21/c (No. 14) with a = 10.061(3) Å, b = 6.210(2) Å, c = 12.538(3) Å, β = 112.97(2) and a = 10.215(3) Å, b = 6.407(1) Å, c = 13.069(6) Å, β = 103.64(5)°, Z = 4. The potassium and rubidium compounds are not isotypic. All three compounds contain isolated [BS3]3– anions with boron in a trigonal‐planar coordination. The sodium cations in Na3BS3 are located between layers of orthothioborate anions, in the case of K3BS3 and Rb3BS3 stacks of [BS3]3– entities are connected via the corresponding cations. X‐ray powder patterns were measured and compared to calculated ones obtained from single crystal X‐ray structure determinations.  相似文献

Peroxodiphosphates of alkali metals can be prepared from K4P2O8, which is synthesized by electrolysis, in metathesis reactions with the corresponding perchlorates. Single crystals have been obtained by diffusion of methanol into aqueous solutions of the peroxodiphosphates. The crystal structures of Li4P2O8·4H2O (P21/n; a = 8.057(2) Å, b = 5.074(1) Å, c = 12.288(3) Å, β = 100.53(2)°; V = 493.9(2) Å3; Z = 2), Na4P2O8·18H2O (at 130 K: P61; a = 9.0984(14) Å, c = 49.926(13) Å; V = 3579.2(12) Å3; Z = 6) and K4P2O8 (P21/c; a = 5.9041(15) Å, b = 10.254(2) Å, c = 7.356(2) Å, β = 99.05(3)°; V = 439.79(18) Å3; Z = 2) have been determined by X‐ray diffraction. In the Li salt the cations are tetrahedrally coordinated by one water molecule and three oxygen atoms of the anions, whereas the Na salt is characterized by binuclear [Na2(H2O)9]2+ complexes. At low temperatures, the latter undergoes a phase transition from a structure with disordered anions to a completely ordered phase. K4P2O8 is solvent‐free and exhibits irregular cation coordination. The structure of the peroxodiphosphate anion is very similar in all compounds; the mean O–O distance is 1.49(1) Å. In addition, the structure determination of K4(HPO4)2·3H2O2 (P21/n; a = 6.076(1) Å, b = 6.579(1) Å, c = 17.215(2) Å, β = 99.73(1)°; V = 678.26(17) Å3; Z = 2), which can be mistaken for K4P2O8, is presented.  相似文献

The structures are composed of discrete mononuclear molecules. The polyhedra of the Zn atoms are distorted trigonal bipyramids N2S3 formed by coordination of the N atoms of Phen or 2,2′-Bipy molecules and sulfur atoms of the monodentate and cyclic bidentate xanthogenate ligand. In structures I and II, dimer assemblies are formed by π-π interactions of Phen or 2,2′-Bipy molecules.  相似文献

Systematic studies on thio‐ and selenoborates containing heavier metal cations led to the new crystalline phase EuB2S4. The crystal structure of the europium metathioborate reveals polymeric [(B2S4)2—]n anions and divalent Eu‐cations which are connected via ionic interactions. The building blocks of the anions consist of BS4‐tetrahedra. Condensation of these BS4‐tetrahedra leads to corner‐ and edge‐sharing 2D‐networks running parallel to (1 0 0). Evacuated carbon coated silica tubes were used as reaction vessels since temperatures up to 990 K were applied. EuB2S4 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c (no. 14) with a = 6.4331(6)Å, b = 14.099(1)Å, c = 6.0731(6)Å, β = 110.55(8)° and Z = 4.  相似文献

The Perthioborates RbBS3, TIBS3, and Tl3B3S10 . RbBS3 (P21/c, a=7.082(2) Å, b=11.863(4) Å, c=5.794(2) Å, β=106.54(2)°) was prepared as colourless, plate-shaped crystals by reaction of stoichiometric amounts of rubidium sulfide, boron, and sulfur at 600°C and subsequent annealing. TlBS3 (P21/c, a=6.874(3) Å, b=11.739(3) Å, c=5.775(2) Å, β=113.08(2)°) which is isotypic with RbBS3 was synthesized from a sample of the composition Tl2S · 2 B2S3. The glassy product which was obtained after 7 h at 850°C was annealed in a two zone furnace for 400 h at 400→350°C. Yellow crystals of TlBS3 formed at the warmer side of the furnace. Tl3B3S10 (P1 , a=6.828(2) Å, b=7.713(2) Å, c=13.769(5) Å, α=104.32(2)°, β=94.03(3)°, γ=94.69(2)°) was prepared as yellow plates from stoichiometric amounts of thallium sulfide, boron, and sulfur at 850°C and subsequent annealing. All compounds contain tetrahedrally coordinated boron. The crystal structures consist of polymeric anion chains. In the case of RbBS3 and TlBS3 nonplanar five-membered B2S3 rings are spirocyclically connected via the boron atoms. To obtain the anionic structure of Tl3B3S10 every third B2S3 ring of the polymeric chains of MBS3 is to be substituted by a six-membered B(S2)2B ring.  相似文献

The new compound K6Ti6S18O was prepared by the reaction of stoichiometric amounts of K2S5, Ti, TiO, and S at 400 °C. It crystallises in the triclinic space group P1 with a = 9.602(2) Å, b = 9.682(2) Å, c = 9.856(2) Å, α = 104.78(1)°, β = 107.04(3)°, γ = 112.56(1)°, V = 735.6(3) Å3, Z = 1. The structure is comprised of discrete [Ti6S18O]6– anions separated by K+ cations. The main structural feature is a Ti6 octahedron which is centred by an interstitial oxygen atom yielding the Ti6O unit. This unit is surrounded by a S8 cube and every Ti atom is bound to terminal S2– or S22– anions. The anion may be described as {[Ti6(O)Si8](S2–)a2(S22–)a4}6–.  相似文献

Na2B2Se7, K2B2S7, and K2B2Se7: Three Perchalcogenoborates with a Novel Polymeric Anion Network Na2B2Se7 (I 2/a; a = 11.863(4) Å, b = 6.703(2) Å, c = 13.811(6) Å, β = 109.41(2)°; Z = 4), K2B2S7 (I 2/a; a = 11.660(2) Å, β = 6.827(1) Å, c = 12.992(3) Å, β = 106.78(3)°; Z = 4), and K2B2Se7 (I 2/a; a = 12.092(4) Å, b = 7.054(2) Å, c = 13.991(5) Å, β = 107.79(3)°; Z = 4) were prepared by reaction of stoichiometric amounts of sodium selenide (potassium sulfide) with boron and sulfur or of potassium selenide and boron diselenide, respectively, at 600°C with subsequent annealing. The crystal structures consist of polymeric anion chains of composition ([B2S7]2?)n or ([B2Se7]2?)n formed by spirocyclically connected five-membered B2S3 (B2Se3) rings and six-membered B2S4 (B2Se4) rings. The nine-coordinate alkaline metal cations are situated in between.  相似文献

The chelate complex (C5H5)2TiS2C6H4 crystallizes in the centrosymmetric monoclinic soace group P21/c with the cell dimensions a = 14.366 Å, b = 15.380 Å, c = 12.736 Å, β = 90.2° and Z = 8. The S2C6H4 plane of the molecule is folded out of the TiS2 plane by an angle of 46°. The coordination polyhedron around the titanium atom defined by the cyclopentadienyl ring centroids and the sulfur atoms is a distorted tetrahedron of nearly mm2? C2v symmetry. The distances Ti? S and S? C are shorter, then those of single bonds of these atoms. The cyclopentadienyl rings are in staggered or eclipsed arrangement with respect to each another.  相似文献
