给出了稳态条件下光折变聚合物中的小振幅空间孤子的演化方程,得到了方程的暗、亮孤子解析解,并且给出了小振幅聚合孤子的宽度表达式结果表明,光折变聚合物中存在着双曲正切形式的小振幅暗空间孤子和双曲正割形式的小振幅亮空间孤子,小振幅聚合孤子的宽度与外加电场成反比关系. 相似文献

对外加电场光折变有机聚合物串联回路中独立空间孤子对进行了理论研究,导出了在光折变有机聚合物串联回路中两光束传播的耦合方程,证明了串联回路中存在暗-暗、明-暗和明-明三种独立空间孤子对.在光束的空间展宽远小于有机聚合物宽度的极限条件下,暗-暗孤子对之间孤子入射光强的改变可相互影响到对方的包络和动态演化.对于明-暗孤子对,暗孤子通过光电流能影响明孤子,但明孤子不能影响暗孤子.明-明孤子对之间没有影响.

对光折变有机聚合物中的双色光空间孤子进行了理论分析,证明双色信号光的两个频率成分相互作用可以在折射率改变为正的光折变有机聚合物中形成暗暗和亮暗空间孤子,在折射率改变为负的光折变有机聚合物中形成亮亮和亮暗空间孤子。与单色光孤子的情况不同,对于双色光孤子情况,通过与一形成暗孤子的频率成分相互作用,另一频率成分在折射率改变为正的有机聚合物中也可形成亮孤子;通过与一形成亮孤子的频率成分相互作用,另一频率成分在折射率改变为负的材料中也可形成暗孤子。 相似文献

We discuss the nonlinear Schr6dinger equation with variable coefficients in 21) graded-index waveguides with different distributed transverse diffractions and obtain exact bright and dark soliton solutions. Based on these solutions, we mainly investigate the dynamical behaviors of solitons in three different diffraction decreasing waveguides with the hyperbolic, Gaussian and Logarithmic profiles. Results indicate that for the same parameters, the amplitude of bright solitons in the Logarithmic profile and the amplitude of dark solitons in the Gaussian profile are biggest respectively, and the amplitude in the hyperbolic profile is smallest, while the width of solitons has the opposite case. 相似文献

We investigate theoretically the time behavior of spatial solitons in biased centrosymmetric photorefractive crystals. A one-dimensional time-dependent wave propagation equation in biased centrosymmetric photorefractive crystals is presented. It is shown that the bright solitons exist in both quasi-steady-state and steady-state regimes for high saturation values. When the intensity ratio is smaller than unity, the bright soliton width decreases monotonically to a minimum value toward steady state. Moreover, the time-dependent nonlinear wave equation exhibits only steady-state screening dark spatial solitons. 相似文献

研究了晶体损耗对屏蔽光伏空间孤子在加偏压的光伏光折变晶体中演化特性的影响.结果表明,损耗除了造成屏蔽光伏孤子光波振幅的减小外,还造成了孤子横截面的改变.对于明孤子,当入射波光强较低时,横截面随传播距离的增长而不断增大;而当入射波光强较高时,起初横截面不断压缩,而后再膨胀,并在某一传播距离上孤子横截面恢复到入射时的尺寸.对于暗孤子,不论入射光孤子光强的高低,横截面都随传播距离的增长而不断增大.虽然在传播距离足够短时,可以不考虑损耗的影响,但距离较大时,损耗将最终导致孤子崩溃.

A new type of spatial solitons i.e. pyroelectric photovoltaic spatial solitons based on the combination of pyroelectric and photovoltaic effect is predicted theoretically. It shows that bright, dark and grey spatial solitons can exist in unbiased photovoltaic photorefractive crystals with appreciable pyroelectric effect. 给出了中心对称光折变晶体中屏蔽孤子的高阶空间电荷场.当高阶项可以忽略时,这个电荷场就变为早前在中心对称光折变晶体中研究的屏蔽孤子的空间电荷场.研究了中心对称光折变晶体中屏蔽孤子的高阶非线性波动方程.在适当的条件下,这个非线性波动方程能够展示明暗空间光孤子.这类晶体不同于非中心对称晶体,其非线性折射率的改变来源于二次电光效应,而不是一般的线性电光效应.应用光束传播的方法,对这些孤子的稳定性进行了讨论.表明在小的微扰下这类孤子是稳定的,不会发生分裂. 相似文献

The conditions necessary for obtaining holographic solitons in centrosymmetric photorefractive crystals are discussed. When both the intensity modulation of the two interacting waves and the angle between the vector of each beam and the longitudinal axis are small, centrosymmetric photorefractive crystals with a positive (or negative ) effective quadratic electro-optic coefficient are able to support bright (or dark) holographic solitons. The intensity width at half maximum of bright and dark solitons is inversely proportional to the external bias field. The holographic solitons can also exit in dissipative centrosymmetric photorefractive crystals when the applied external bias field is large enough. 相似文献

It is shown theoretically that the dark–dark, bright–bright and dark–bright Manakov soliton pairs can exist in biased photorefractive materials with both the linear and quadratic electro-optic effect under steady-state conditions. These soliton pairs can be generated provided that the total intensity of the two mutually inherent, with the same wavelength optical beams is much lower than the sum of the background intensity and the dark irradiance. It is also found that the intensity full width at half maximum of these Manakov solitons is inversely proportional to the square root of a quadratic polynomial of the external bias field. Moreover, the linear and quadratic electro-optic effects can be enhanced, decreased, even offset under appropriate conditions. 相似文献

The low-amplitude spatial solitons in biased photovoltaic photorefractive crystals are investigated theoretically. The analytical solutions for both the bright and the dark low-amplitude screening-photovoltaic spatial solitons in photorefractive crystals are obtained. The expressions for the width of these solitons are given.
