MAXIMAL ELEMENTS FOR GB-MAJORIZED MAPPINGS IN PRODUCT G-CONVEX SPACES AND APPLICATIONS (Ⅰ)

A new family of set-valued mappings from a topological space into generalized convex spaces was introduced and studied. By using the continuous partition of unity theorem and Brouwer fixed point theorem, several existence theorems of maximal elements for the family of set-valued mappings were proved under noncompact setting of product generalized convex spaces. These theorems improve, unify and generalize many important results in recent literature. By applying existence theorems of maximal elements for a family of G_B-majorized mappings in a product space of G-convex spaces, some coincidence theorem, Fan-Browder type fixed point theorem and some existence theorems of solutions for a system of minimax inequalities are proved under noncompact setting of G-convex spaces. These theorems improve and generalize many important known results in literature. Generalized H-KKM Type Theorems in H-Metric Spaces with Applications

The new notions of H-metric spaces and generalized H-KKM mappings were introduced. Some generalized H-KKM type theorems for generalized H-KKM mappings with finitely metrically compactly closed values and finitely metrically compactly open values were established in H-metric spaces. These theorems generalized recent results of Khamsi and Yuan. As applications, some Ky Fan type matching theorems for finitely metrically compactly open covers and finitely metrically compactly closed covers, fixed point theorems and minimax inequality are obtained in H-metric spaces. These results generalize a number of know results in recent literature. New collectively fixed point theorems and applications inG-convex spaces

By applying the technique of continuous partition of unity and Tychonoff’s fixed point theorem, some new collectively fixed point theorems for a family of set-valued mappings defined on the product space of noncompact G-convex spaces are proved. As applications, some nonempty intersetion theorems of Ky Fan type for a family of subsets of the product space of G-convex spaces are proved; An existence theorem of solutions for a system of nonlinear inequalities is given in G-convex spaces and some equilibrium existence theorems of abstract economies are also obtained in G-convex spaces. Our theorems improve, unify and generalized many important known results in recent literature.

ON THE CRITICAL POINTS OF THE MAP Fp:X→‖AXB-C‖pp

Suppose A,B and C are the bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space H, when A has a generalized inverse A^- such that (AA^-)^*=AA^- and B has a generalized inverse B^- such that (B^-B)^*=B^-B,the general characteristic forms for the critical points of the map F_p:X^→‖AXB-C‖_p^p(1p=2. Similarly, the same question has been discussed for several operators.     

MODAL SYNTHESIS METHOD FOR NORM COMPUTATION OF H∞ DECENTRALIZED CONTROL SYSTEMS （II）

When using H∞ techniques to design decentralized controllers for large systems, the whole system is divided into subsystems, which are analysed using H∞ control theorybefore being recombined. An analogy was established with substructural analysis instructural mechanics, in which H∞ decentralized control theory corresponds to substructuralmodal synthesis theory so that the optimal H∞ norm of the whole system corresponds to thefundamental vibration frequency of the whole structure. Hence, modal synthesismethodology and the extended Wittrick-Williams algorithm were transplanted from structuralmechanics to compute the optimal H∞ norm of the control system. The orthogonality and theexpansion theorem of eigenfunctions of the subsystems H~ control are presented in part (I)of the paper. The modal synthesis method for computation of the optimal H∞ norm ofdecentralized control systems and numerical examples are presented in part (Ⅱ).

K-ε-T model of dense liquid-solid two-phase turbulent flow and its application to the pipe flow

To predict the characteristics of dense liquid-solid two-phase flow, K-ε-T model is established, in which the turbulent flow of fluid phase is described with fluid turbulent kinetic energy K_f and its dissipation rate ε_f, and the particles random motion is described with particle turbulent energy K_p and its dissipation rate ε_p and pseudothermal temperature T_p. The governing equations are also derived. With K-ε-T model, numerical study of dense liquid-solid two-phase turbulent up-flow in a pipe is performed. The calculated results are in good agreement with experimental data of Alajbegovic et al. (1994), and some flow features are captured.     

Constrained multiobjective games in locally convex<Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis>-spaces

A new class of constrained multiobjective games with infinite players in noncompact locally convex H-spaces without linear structure are introduced and studied. By applying a Fan-Glicksberg type fixed point theorem for upper semicontinuous set-valued mappings with closed acyclic values and a maximum theorem, several existence theorems of weighted Nath-equilibria and Pareto equilibria for the constrained multiobjective games are proved in noncompact locally convex H-spaces. These theorems improve, unify and generalize the corresponding results of the multiobjective games in recent literatures. ON THE CONVERGENCE PROBLEMS OF ISHIKAWA AND MANN ITERATIVE PROCESSES WITH ERROR FOR Φ-PSEUDO CONTRACTIVE TYPE MAPPINGS

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of Φ-pseudo contractive type mapping and to study the convergence problem of Ishikawa and Mann iterative processes with error for this kind of mappings. The results presented in this paper improve and extend many authors’recent results.     

MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHODS FOR THE SHALLOWWATER EQUATIONS INCLUDING CURRENT AND SILTSEDIMENTATION （Ⅱ）——THE DISCRETE-TIMECASE ALONG CHARACTERISTICS

The mixed finite element(MFE) methods for a shallow water equation systemconsisting of water dynamics equations, silt transport equation, and the equation of bottomtopography change were derived. A fully discrete MFE scheme for the discrete-time alongcharacteristics is presented and error estimates are established. The existence andconvergence of MFE solution of the discrete current velocity, elevation of the bottomtopography, thickness of fluid column, and mass rate of sediment is demonstrated.     

g-η-Monotone mapping and resolvent operator technique for solving generalized implicit variational-like inclusions

A new class of g-η-monotone mappings and a class of generalized implicit variational-like inclusions involving g-η-monotone mappings are introduced. The resolvent operator of g-η-monotone mappings is defined and its Lipschitz continuity is presented. An iterative algorithm for approximating the solutions of generalized implicit variational-like inclusions is suggested and analyzed. The convergence of iterative sequences generated by the algorithm is also proved.     

On the Mann and Ishikawa iterative approximation of solutions to variational inclusions with accretive type mappings in Banach spaces

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study the existence of solutions and convergence of Mann and Ishikawa iterative processes for a class of variational inclusions with accretive type mappings in Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results by Chang, Ding, Hassouni, Kazmi, Siddiqi, Zeng et al. A NOTE ON BIFURCATIONS OF u″+μ(u-uk)=0(4≤k∈Z+)

Bifurcations of one kind of reaction-diffusion equations, u″+μ(u-u^k)=0(μ is a parameter,4≤k∈Z⁺), with boundary value condition u(0)=u(π)=0 are discussed. By means of singularity theory based on the method of Liapunov-Schmidt reduction, satisfactory results can be acquired.     

Maximal elements and generalized games involving condensing mappings in locally FC-uniform spaces and applications （II）

This paper is a continuum of the preceding paper of author. Some new systems of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems involving condensing mappings are introduced and studied in locally FC-uniform spaces. By applying the existence theorem of maximal elements of condensing set-valued mappings in locally FC-uniform spaces obtained by author in the preceding paper, some new existence theorems of solutions for the systems of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems are proved in locally FC-uniform spaces. These results improve and generalize some known results in literature to locally FC-uniform spaces.
