Catalytic properties of ZSM-5 zeolite samples pretreated with NaOH solution have been investigated. The samples are characterized by XRD, SEM, chemical analysis, and N2 adsorption.The results indicate that mesopores are created in ZSM-5 crystals under alkali treatment without change the microporous structure and acidic strength of the zeolite, but the crystallinity is greatly decreased under severe treatment. IR indicates that the concentration of silanol is greatly enriched by alkali treatment. The etherification activities of ZSM-5 zeolites are greatly increased byalkali-treatment. The noticeably improved catalytic activity of treated samples is ascribed to the formation of mesopores and greatly enriched silanol group.  相似文献

Olefin alkylation of thiophenic sulfur process was carried out in model gasoline, using Hβ zeolites with different Si/Al2 ratios as catalysts. In particular, the influence of acid properties of Hβ zeolites on its catalytic ability for the thiophene alkylation, xylene alkylation and hexene oligomerization was investigated. The results showed that the acidity of the Hβ zeolite was increased with the decrease of Si/Al2 ratio, but its catalytic ability was not always increased. In fact, it reached the maximal catalytic ability at Si/Al2 ratio of 66, and under the reaction conditions of 60 ℃, 1.5 MPa, WHSV 3.0 h^-1 and time on stream 2 h. At the ratio, the conversion of thiophene, xylene, and oligomerized hexene were 96.6%, 2.7% and 2.8%, respectively. An optimal Si/Al2 ratio exists for the catalytic performance of Hβ zeolite. By investigating the coke deposition of the used Hβ zeolite catalysts, it has been found that the optimal Si/Al2 ratio is attributed to the combined effect of the carbocation activation capability and the hydrogen transformation capability of the Hβ zeolite catalyst.  相似文献

Adsorption isotherms of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrogen (N2) on Hβ and sodium exchanged β-zeolite (Naβ) were volumetrically measured at 273 and 303 K. The results show that all isotherms were of Brunauer type Ⅰ and well correlated with Langmuir-Freundlich model. After sodium ions exchange, the adsorption amounts of three adsorbates increased, while the increase magnitude of CO2 adsorption capacity was much higher than that of CH4 and N2. The selectivities of CO2 over CH4 and CO2 over N2 enhanced after sodium exchange. Also, the initial heat of adsorption data implied a stronger interaction of CO2 molecules with Na+ ions in Naβ. These results can be attributed to the larger electrostatic interaction of CO2 with extraframework cations in zeolites. However, Naβ showed a decrease in the selectivity of CH4 over N2, which can be ascribed to the moderate affinity of N2 with Naβ. The variation of isosteric heats of adsorption as a function of loading indicates that the adsorption of CO2 in Naβ presents an energetically heterogeneous profile. On the contrary, the adsorption of CH4 was found to be essentially homogeneous, which suggests the dispersion interaction between CH4 and lattice oxygen atoms, and such interaction does not depend on the exchangeable cations of zeolite.  相似文献

A series of Mo-impregnated Hβ samples, with MoO3 loading in Hβ zeolite in the mass fraction range of 0. 5%-6.0%, were studied by means of XRD and IR in order to characterize their structures. Mo/Hβ samples' crystallinity almost linearly decreases with increasing the amount of MoO3 loaded. The IR spectra and XRD patterns suggest that the progressive destabilization of the Hβ zeolite structure is caused by increasing Mo loading in (MoO3 Hβ zeolite). During the calcination, Al2(MoO4)3 formed from the dealumination of Hβ zeolite, causes the substantially partial breakdown of the zeolite framework when the Mo loading in MoO3 Hβ is relatively high.  相似文献

A natural CXN zeolite (stilbite, type code-STI) discovered in China was modified with NH4^ exchange by using ammonium salt and calcinations (procedure Ⅰ), or with NH4 exchange followed by treatment with acid (procedure Ⅱ). The coordination state of Si and A1 atoms in the framework, the property of ion exchange, and the adsorption of the H-STI zeolite samples prepared by different modification procedure were investigated with XRD,EDX,^29Si and ^27Al MAS NMR, Ag^ ion exchange and Ne adsorption. The results of the investigations indicate that different procedure of the modification made variety on the distribution of the framework Si atoms and A1 atoms,the content of non-framework aluminum, and the blocking channels and the shielding effect to the positions of the exchangeable cations. The H-STI zeolite prepared by the procedure Ⅱ possesses high ion exchange capacity, open and perfect pore system, and high thermal stability.  相似文献

The effect of pure and high silica Hβ zeolites on the catalytic performance of toluene combustion over Pd/Hβ catalyst was evaluated.Pure and high silica β zeolites were prepared by direct synthesis procedures,then 0.1 wt% of palladium was impregnated on different Hβ zeolites via in-cipient wetness technique using palladium nitrate as the Pd source.The Pd/Hβ catalysts were characterized by XRD,N2 adsorption/desorption,H2O adsorption,NH3-TPD,H2-TPR and XPS techniques.With increasing the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of β zeolite,the activity of the Pd/Hβ catalysts for toluene combustion increased clearly and the pure silica β zeolite supported Pd catalyst showed the best catalytic activity.The superior catalytic performance of Pd/β catalyst prepared from pure silica β zeolite was attributed to its high hydrophobicity and the preserving ability for PdO active species.  相似文献

A series of 3. OMo/(Hβ γ-Al2O3) samples with γ-Al2O3 contents in the range of 0-100% (mass fraction) was studied by means of XRD, NH3-TPD, TPR and BET determinations for characterizing their structures. The Hβ zeolite structure in the 3.0Mo/Hβ sample can be effectively stabilized by adding some γ-Al2O3 to Hβ zeolite. γ-Al2O3 mainly favors the formation of polymolybdate or multilayered Mo oxide, while Hβ mainly forms the Al2(MoO4)3 species, as evaluated by the TPR technique. When used as the catalyst for the metathesis of butylene-2 and ethylene to propylene, there exists a close correlation between the specific surface area and stability of the catalyst. The specific surface area of the catalyst shows the maximum when (Hβ γ-Al2O3) contains 30%γ-Al2O3, which is in agreement with that of the time needed for the reaction stablization. In the case of maximum surface area, the rate of coke deposition is the minimum.  相似文献

ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolites with different content of ZSM-5 have been synthesized by adding different amount of ZSM-5 to the synthetic system of β zeolite with NaAlO2, silica sol as the source of aluminum and silica, respectively, and TEA as the template under controlled condition of the synthesis. The ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite was studied by XRD, SEM, BET and NH3-TPD. The reaction activity of toluene alkylation was investigated with a mixture of toluene-methanol as the feedstock in a pulse micro-reactor over the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite. It is found that ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite has two kinds of zeolite structure including ZSM-5 and β zeolite, not in the form of a physical mixture. The pore structure of ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolites is different from that for β zeolite, ZSM-5 and their physical mixture. In addition, the peaks of both high and low temperature desorption of ammonia over the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite shift 23 ℃ to lower temperatures and the acid amount of its strong acid is 3% more than the physical mixture. So the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite produces the highest content of xylene, which is 10.4% higher than the physical mixture. And the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite has better selectivity for toluene alkylation and weaker de-methylation than β zeolite, ZSM-5 and their physical mixture.  相似文献

Adsorption isotherms of carbon dioxide were measured on cation-exchanged (Li+, Na+, K+, Cs+) MCM-22 zeolite with the molar ratio of Si/Al=15 and series of Na-MCM-22 of Si/Al molar ratios varying in the range from 15 to 40 at 273, 293, 313 and 333 K. Based on the known temperature dependence of CO2 adsorption, isosteric heats of adsorption were calculated. The obtained dependences of isosteric heats related to the amount of CO2 adsorbed have provided detailed insight into the interaction of carbon dioxide molecule with alkali metal cations.  相似文献

Ion exchange was made on MCM-22 and MCM-49 zeolites with different Si/Al molar ratios, with Li+, Na+, K+, and Cs+ ions and the study of the influence of alkali metal cations on CO2 adsorption properties was performed. The degree of ion-exchange decreased for larger cations (Cs+) apparently due to steric hindrances. The exchange with different cations led to a decrease in the surface area and the micropore volume. Our study shows that the adsorption capacity of the tested zeolites depends significantly on the nature and the concentration of the charge-compensating cations. The highest CO2 adsorption capacity was obtained on the MWW zeolites with the lowest Si/Al molar ratio and the Li+ or K+ cations.  相似文献

Ion-exchange experiments were conducted at 25°C between the zeolite mineral clinoptilolite and aqueous solutions of Na+/Sr2+ (0.005, 0.05, and 0.5 N), K+/Sr2+ (0.05N), and K+/Ca2+ (0.05 N). The isotherm data were used to derive equilibrium constants and Gibbs energies for the ion-exchange reactions and Margules parameters for the zeolite solid solution. The Margules model, in combination with the Pitzer equations for activity coefficients of aqueous ions, was used to predict isotherms for ion exchange involving clinoptilolite and aqueous solutions of Na+/Sr2+, K+/Sr2+, and K+/Ca2+ over wide ranges of solution composition and concentration. The ion-exchange isotherms are strongly dependent on the total solution concentration. For Na+/Sr2+ ion exchange, isotherm values at 0.005 and 0.5 N predicted using thermodynamic parameters derived from the 0.05 N data showed excellent agreement with measured values. The model was also applied to calculations of aqueous composition based on the chemistry of coexisting zeolite phases. The results show that the aqueous composition can be predicted well from the composition of the zeolite, at least for systems that involved binary (two-cation) exchange. Because the thermodynamic model can be easily extended to ternary and more complicated mixtures, it may be useful for modeling ion-exchange equilibria in multicomponent systems.  相似文献

Adsorption of CO2 as probe molecule on alkali-metal zeolites of MFI structure was investigated by joint volumetry–calorimetry. Consideration was given to the interpretation of the heat evolved when a probe molecule is adsorbed on the surface. In particular, the number and the strength of adsorption sites are discussed as functions of zeolite structure, concentration, and nature of extra-framework cation. The adsorption heats (q iso) of CO2 interaction with alkali-metal cations decrease for MFI zeolite with high Si/Al in the sequence Li+ > Na+ > K+ from 54 kJ/mol to 49 and 43 kJ/mol, respectively. In addition, the adsorption heats are influenced by concentration of Al in the framework. This phenomenon is attributed to formation of bridged CO2 adsorption complexes formed between two cations. On the base of quantitative analysis of adsorption processes, presence of geminal adsorption complexes was suggested for adsorption at higher equilibrium pressures.  相似文献

From extraction experiments and γ-activity measurements, the extraction constant corresponding to the equilibrium H+ (aq) + NaL+ (nb) = HL+ (nb) + Na+ (aq) taking place in the two-phase water-nitrobenzene system (L = valinomycin, aq = aqueous phase, nb = nitrobenzene phase) was evaluated as log Kex (H+, NaL+) = −1.1 ± 0.1. Further, the stability constant of the valinomycin-proton complex in nitrobenzene saturated with water was calculated as log βnb(HL+) = 5.3 ± 0.1. Finally, the stability constants of complexes of some univalent cations with valinomycin were summarized and discussed.  相似文献

The new L ‐lysine alkali‐metal salts 1 – 5 (M+=Na+ and K+) with different alkyl groups at the Nα‐position were easily synthesized, and their hydro‐ and organogelation properties were investigated. All compounds were H2O‐soluble, and some salts, especially the potassium salts, functioned as a hydrogenator that could gel water below 2 wt‐%. Inorganic lithium permselective ion exchange membranes were prepared on a microporous alumina substrate by dip-coating solution containing Si(OC2H5)4, LiOC2H5, Mn(OC2H5)2 and C2H5OH. The membranes showed ion-selectivity for cation over anion and permselectivity for Li+ over Na+. The static transport number for cation [K+] is 0.75 and the permselectivity for Na+ over Li+ is 0.29, comparing 2.57 for ordinary organic ion exchange membrane.  相似文献
