This paper is focused on investigation of coordination polymers constructed by Cu(II) and rigid pyridyl ligands, such as 4,4′‐bipyridyl‐1,2,4‐triazole (Hpytz) and 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen) from a mononuclear precursor [Cu(DMF)4(NCS)2] ( 1 ). As expected, the complex was self‐assembled with phen to form a 1D double‐stranded chain of [Cu(phen)(µ‐SCN)2] ( 2 ), with Hpytz to form 1D zigzag chain of [Cu2(µ‐Hpytz)2(NCS)2(DMF)2(µ‐SCN)2] ( 3 ) in which thiocyanate anion linked the Cu‐µ‐Hpytz‐Cu chain into an infinite 2D network via weak Cu···S interaction. To treat 3 with the bridged anion dca, a novel 3D framework [Cu(µ‐Hpytz)(µ‐dca)(µ‐SCN)] ( 4 ) was obtained in which Cu‐µ‐Hpytz‐Cu chain is preserved and both thiocyanate anion and dicyanamide (dca) act as bridging ligands. In addition, complex 3 was applied as a metal catalyst in polymerization of MMA in aqueous solution at room temperature.  相似文献

E.p.r. spectra of [Cu(et2dtc)2], Na[Cu(asp/glut)(et2dtc)] and Na2[Cu(asp/glut)(et2dtc)2] in the polycrystalline state have been recorded and discussed. The complexes display an antiferromagnetic exchange interaction, increasing in the order: Na2[Cu(asp/glut)(et2dtc)2] < Na[Cu(asp/glut)(et2dtc)] < [Cu(et2dtc)2] This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

A series of the first coordination polymers using the [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion as a building block has been prepared. The planar tetracyanoaurate anion uses one, two, or four cyano groups to bridge to Ni(II) or Cu(II) centers and exhibits weak Au(III)-N(cyano) interactions between anions. Ni(en)(2)[Au(CN)(4)](2).H(2)O (1, en = ethylenediamine) is a molecular compound with the two [Au(CN)(4)](-) anions coordinating in a trans orientation to Ni(II) without further cyanide coordination. Cu(dien)[Au(CN)(4)](2) (2, dien = diethylenetriamine) forms a similar molecular complex; however, the dimensionality is increased through weak intermolecular Au-N(cyano) interactions of 3.002(14) A to form a 1-D zigzag chain. Cu(en)(2)[Au(CN)(4)](2) (3) also forms a molecular complex similar to 1, but with elongated axial bonds. The complex further aggregates through Au-N(cyano) interactions of 3.035(8) A to form a 2-D array. In [Cu(dmeda)(2)Au(CN)(4)][Au(CN)(4)] (4, dmeda = N,N-dimethylethylenediamine) one [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion coordinates via two cis-N(cyano) donors to the axial sites of two Cu(II) centers to form a 1-D zigzag chain of alternating [Cu(dmeda)(2)](2+) and [Au(CN)(2)](-) units; the other [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion forms a 1-D chain via Au-N(cyano) interactions. In [Cu(bipy)(H(2)O)(2)(Au(CN)(4))(0.5)][Au(CN)(4)](1.5) (5, bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine) one [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion uses all four cyano moieties to bridge four different Cu(II) centers, creating a 1-D chain.  相似文献

The complex (HNEt(3))[MoCl(NCMe)(Calix)] (1), prepared from the reaction of [MoCl(4)(NCMe)(2)] with p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene, H(4)Calix, in the presence of triethylamine, has been used as a source of the d(2)-[Mo(NCMe)(Calix)] fragment. Complex 1 is readily oxidized with PhICl(2) to afford the molybdenum(VI) dichloro complex [MoCl(2)(Calix)] (2). Both complexes are a convenient entry point into molybdenum(VI) and molybdenum(IV) calixarene chemistry. The reaction of 1 with trimethylphosphine and pyridine in the presence of catalytic amounts [Ag(OTf)] led to the formation of neutral d(2) complexes [Mo(PMe(3))(NCMe)(Calix)] (3) and [Mo(NC(5)H(5))(NCMe)(Calix)] (4). The role of the silver salt in the reaction mixture is presumably the oxidation of the chloromolybdate anion of 1 to give a reactive molybdenum(V) species. The same reactions can also be initiated with ferrocenium cations such as [Cp(2)Fe](BF(4)). Without the presence of coordinating ligands, the dimeric complex [[Mo(NCMe)(Calix)](2)] (5) was isolated. The reaction of 1 with Ph(2)CN(2) led to the formation of a metallahydrazone complex [Mo(N(2)CPh(2))(NCMe)(Calix)] (6), in which the diphenyldiazomethane has been formally reduced by two electrons. Molybdenum(VI) complexes were also obtained from reaction of 1 with azobenzene and sodium azide in the presence of catalytic amounts of silver salt. The reaction with azobenzene led under cleavage of the nitrogen nitrogen bond to an imido complex [Mo(NPh)(NCMe)(Calix)] (7), whereas the reaction with sodium azide afforded the mononuclear molybdenum(VI) nitrido complex (HNEt(3))[MoN(Calix)] (8).  相似文献

The solvatochromic indicator [Cu(acac)(tmen)(H 2O)].PF 6 ( 1.H 2O) has been synthesized and crystallographically characterized. 1.H 2O binds an H 2O molecule at the Cu(II) axial site, while the PF 6 (-) anion is coordination free. The binding properties of [Cu(PF 6)(acac)(tmen)] ( 1) and [Cu(BF 4)(acac)(tmen)] ( 2) have been investigated in solution and the solid state. The donor number of the PF 6 (-) anion (DN PF6) was determined from the UV-vis spectra of 1 in 1,2-dichloroethane. The value of DN PF6 of the PF 6 (-) anion is slightly larger than that of the tetraphenylborate anion (BPh 4 (-)), which is known as a noncoordinating anion. In the solid state, 1 and 2 reversibly bind and release H 2O molecules at the Cu(II) axial sites. The coordinated H 2O molecules in 2 are more easily removed than those in 1 because of the strong Lewis basicity of the BF 4 (-) anion compared to the PF 6 (-) ion. The lower melting point of 1 versus 2 is attributed to the loose binding of the PF 6 (-) anions to the Cu(II) centers, which induces the dynamic nature of the crystal.  相似文献

The reaction between 2-hydrazinopyridine and ethylisothiocyanate produced 4-ethyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl) thiosemicarbazide (HEPTS). Its reaction with copper fluoride, chloride, bromide, acetate, nitrate, perchlorate, sulfate, carbonate, hydroxide and copper metal produced 15 Cu(II) complexes. The copper metal is easily oxidized in aqueous-ethanol solution of HEPTS giving [Cu(2)(EPTS)(H(2)O)(3)(OH)(3)]EtOH. Different complexes for the same anion were synthesized by controlling the heating time. Characterization by elemental, thermal, magnetic and spectral (electronic, IR, mass and ESR) studies showed the formation of mono-, di-, tri- and tetra nuclear complexes. The room temperature solid state ESR spectra of the complexes show an axial spectrum with d(x)(2)-y(2) ground state, suggesting distorted tetragonal geometry around Cu(II) center. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters for the different decomposition steps in the complexes were calculated. HEPTS and its Cu(II) complexes showed high activity against gram negative bacteria; [Cu(3)(EPTS)(2)(EtOH)(2)Br(4)] has more activity.  相似文献

[K(2)(P(4)Mes(4))] (1) or [Na(2)(THF)(4)(P(4)Mes(4))] (2) (Mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2)) reacts with one equivalent of HCl and subsequently with 0.5 equivalents of [{RhCl(cod)}(2)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) to give a mixture of rhodium complexes, from which [Rh(P(4)HMes(4))(cod)] (3) and the secondary product [Rh(2)(micro-P(2)HMes(2))(mu-PHMes)(cod)(2)] (4) were isolated and characterised by X-ray diffraction studies. Alternatively, the reaction of [K(2)(P(4)Ph(4))] (5) or [Na(2)(THF)(5)(P(4)Ph(4))] (6) with one equivalent of HCl and subsequently with one equivalent of [CuCl(PCyp(3))(2)] (Cyp = cyclo-C(5)H(9)) gave the complex [Cu(4)(P(4)Ph(4))(2)(PH(2)Ph)(2)(PCyp(3))(2)] (7), presumably via disproportionation of the monoanion (P(4)HPh(4))(-).  相似文献

The reaction of bis(3‐cyano‐2,4‐pentanedionato)copper(II), [Cu(NC‐acac)2] with the nitrogenous base N,N‐dimethyl, N′‐ethyl‐1,2‐ethylenediamine (dmeen) in the presence of Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O, afforded a new cationic mixed‐ligand chelate [Cu(CN‐acac)(dmeen)]+. Its structure was characterized spectroscopically (IR, UV/Vis, EPR) and verified by X‐ray diffraction studies as [Cu(CN‐acac)(dmeen)(H2O)]ClO4. The coordination of CN‐acac as bridging ligand leads to a polymeric helical chain, which extends in the crystallographic c axis. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest that in the solid state the anion CN‐acac binding is envisaged through the nitrogen atom of the cyanido group, establishing an octahedral arrangement around copper, whereas in solution, the square‐planar arrangement is prevailed, in accordance with the EPR findings.  相似文献

Four new complexes of [Cu(bpm)(ox)(H2O)] ( 1 ), [Cu(tpd)(dca)(H2O)] ( 2 ), [Cu(bppz)(N3)2] ( 3 ), and [Cu(bpm)21,3‐N3)(N3)] ( 4 ) (bpm = 2,2′‐bipyrimidine, bppz = 2,3‐bis(2‐pyridyl)pyrazine, tpd = 4‐terpyridone, dca = dicyanamide, ox = oxalate) have been prepared and characterized by X‐ray single‐crystal analysis and variable‐temperature magnetic measurements. Compounds 1–4 are essentially mononuclear Cu(II) complexes. However, in complex 1 , Cu(II) it was found that intermolecular hydrogen bonding through between H2O and ox formed 1‐D chain structure. In complex 2 it was found that the hydrogen bonding between H2O and tpd of the next molecule led to for a binuclear Cu(II) complex. In complex 3 , two nitrogen atoms, one of the pyridyl group of bppz and one of N3? ligands, are weakly coordinated to neighbor Cu(II) ion thus leading to formation of a 1‐D chain structure. In complex 4 , one nitrogen atom of terminated N3? is weakly coordinated to the neighbor Cu(II) site to form a 1‐D polymeric structure. The magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that complex 1 and 4 exhibit a weak antiferromagnetic interaction whereas a ferromagnetic coupling has been established for complexes 2 and 3 .  相似文献

Four copper complexes with hydroxylated bipyridyl-like ligands, namely [Cu(2)(ophen)(2)] (1), [Cu(4)(ophen)(4)(tp)] (2), [Cu(4)(obpy)(4)(tp)] (3), and [Cu(4)(obpy)(4)(dpdc)].2H(2)O (4), (Hophen=2-hydroxy-1,10-phenanthroline, Hobpy=6-hydroxy-2,2'-bipyridine, tp=terephthalate, dpdc=diphenyl-4,4'-dicarboxylate) have been synthesized hydrothermally. X-ray single-crystal structural analyses of these complexes reveal that 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) or 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) ligands are hydroxylated into ophen or obpy during the reaction, which provides structural evidence for the long-time argued Gillard mechanism. The dinuclear copper(I) complex 1 has three supramolecular isomers in the solid state, in which short copper-copper distances (2.66-2.68 A) indicate weak metal-metal bonding interactions. Each of the mixed-valence copper(i,ii) complexes 2-4 consists of a pair of [Cu(2)(ophen)(2)](+) or [Cu(2)(obpy)(2)](+) fragments bridged by a dicarboxylate ligand into a neutral tetranuclear dumbbell structure. Dinuclear 1 is an intermediate in the formation of 2 and can be converted into 2 in the presence of additional copper(II) salt and tp ligands under hydrothermal conditions. In addition to the ophen-centered pi-->pi* excited-state emission, 1 shows strong emissions at ambient temperature, which may be tentatively assigned as an admixture of copper-centered d-->s,p and MLCT excited states.  相似文献

Synthetic methods for [Et(4)N](4)[W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (1), [Et(4)N](4)[Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (2), [W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (3), and [Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (4) are described. [Et(4)N](2)[MS(4)], [Et(4)N](2)[MS(2)O(2)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and KBH(4) (or Et(4)NBH(4)) were used as starting materials for the synthesis of 1 and 2. Compounds 3 and 4 were produced by reaction of [Et(4)N](2)[WOS(3)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN and by reaction of [Me(4)N](2)[MO(2)O(2)S(8)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN, respectively. Crystal structures of compounds 1-4 were determined. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.264(5) ?, b = 32.833(8) ?, c = 14.480(3) ?, beta = 118.66(2) degrees, V = 5950.8(5) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 14.288(5) ?, b = 32.937(10) ?, c = 14.490(3) ?, beta = 118.75(2) degrees, V = 5978.4(7) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 2. Compounds 3 and 4 crystallized in the trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 13.836(6) ?, c = 29.81(1) ?, V = 4942(4) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 3 and a = 13.756(9) ?, c = 29.80(2) ?, V = 4885(6) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 4. The cluster cores have approximate C(2v) symmetry. The anions of 1 and 2 may be viewed as consisting of two butterfly-type [CuMOS(3)Cu] fragments bridged by two [MOS(3)](2-) groups. Eight metal atoms in the anions are arranged in an approximate square configuration, with a Cu(4)M(4)S(12) ring structure. Compounds 3 and 4 can be considered to consist of one [M(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)](4-) (the anions of 1 and 2) unit capped by Cu(TMEN)(+) groups on each M atom; the Cu(TMEN)(+) groups extend alternately up and down around the Cu(4)M(4) square. The electronic spectra of the compounds are dominated by the internal transitions of the [MOS(3)](2-) moiety. (95)Mo NMR spectral data are investigated and compared with those of other compounds.  相似文献

The tricoordinated cationic Cu(I) complex [Cu(kappa2-P,P'-DPEphos)(kappa1-P-DPEphos)][BF4] (1) (DPEphos = bis(2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl) ether) containing a dangling phosphorus center was synthesized from the reaction of [Cu(CH3CN)4][BF4] with DPEphos in a 1:2 molar ratio in dichloromethane. When complex 1 is treated with MnO2, elemental sulfur, or selenium, the uncoordinated phosphorus atom undergoes oxidation to form a P=E bond resulting in the formation of complexes of the type [Cu(kappa2-P,P'-DPEphos)(kappa2-P,E-DPEphos-E)][BF4] (2, E = O; 3, E = S; 4, E = Se) containing a Cu-E bond. The zigzag polymeric CuI complex [Cu(kappa2-P,P'-DPEphos)(micro-4,4'-bpy)]n[BF4]n (5) was prepared by the reaction of [Cu(CH3CN)4][BF4] with DPEphos and 4,4'-bipyridine in an equimolar ratio. The stereochemical influences of DPEphos on its coordination behavior are examined by density functional theory calculations.  相似文献

Deprotonation of the tridentate isoindoline ligand 1,3-bis[2-(4-methylpyridyl)imino]-isoindoline, 4'-MeLH, and reaction with hydrated zinc(II) perchlorate produces an unexpected trinuclear Zn(II) complex, [Zn(3)(4'-MeL)(4)](ClO(4))(2).5H(2)O (1), whereas reaction with hydrated copper(II) perchlorate in methanol produces the expected mononuclear product, [Cu(4'-MeL)(H(2)O)(2)]ClO(4) (2). X-ray diffraction shows that the trinuclear Zn(II) complex (1) contains a linear zinc backbone, and the arrangement of ligands about the outer chiral zinc(II) atoms is helical. The two terminal zinc ions exhibit approximate C(2) site symmetry, with tetrahedral coordination by two pyrrole and two pyridyl nitrogen atoms of the potentially tridentate isoindoline ligands. The central zinc ion exhibits approximate tetrahedral symmetry, with coordination by four pyridyl nitrogen atoms of four different isoindoline ligands. Pyridyl-pyrrole intramolecular pi-stacking interactions contribute to the stability of the trinuclear cation. The structure of the mononuclear copper(II) complex cation in 2 is best described as a distorted trigonal bipyramid. The isoindoline anion binds Cu(II) in both axial positions and one of the equatorial positions; water molecules occupy the other two equatorial positions.  相似文献

A series of tetraalkynylplatinate(II) complexes, (NBu(4))(2)[Pt(Ctbd1;CR)(4)] (R = C(6)H(4)N-4, C(6)H(4)N-3, and C(6)H(3)N(2)-5), and the diynyl analogues, (NBu(4))(2)[Pt(Ctbd1;CCtbd1;CR)(4)] (R = C(6)H(5) and C(6)H(4)CH(3)-4), have been synthesized. These complexes displayed intense photoluminescence, which was assigned as metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) transitions. Reaction of (Bu(4)N)(2)[Pt(Ctbd1;CC(5)H(4)N-4)(4)] with 4 equiv of [Pt((t)Bu(3)trpy)(MeCN)](OTf)(2) in methanol did not yield the expected pentanuclear platinum product, [Pt(Ctbd1;CC(5)H(4)N)(4)[Pt((t)Bu(3)trpy)](4)](OTf)(6), but instead afforded a strongly luminescent 4-ethynylpyridine-bridged dinuclear complex, [Pt((t)Bu(3)trpy)(Ctbd1;CC(5)H(4)N)Pt((t)Bu(3)trpy)](PF(6))(3,) which has been structurally characterized. The emission origin is assigned as derived from states of predominantly (3)MLCT [d(pi)(Pt) --> pi((t)Bu(3)trpy)] character, probably mixed with some intraligand (3)IL [pi --> pi(Ctbd1;C)], and ligand-to-ligand charge transfer (3)LLCT [pi(Ctbd1;C) --> pi((t)()Bu(3)trpy)] character. On the other hand, reaction of (Bu(4)N)(2)[Pt(Ctbd1;CCtbd1;CC(6)H(4)CH(3)-4)(4)] with [Ag(MeCN)(4)][BF(4)] gave a mixed-metal aggregate, [Pt(2)Ag(4)(Ctbd1;CCtbd1;CC(6)H(4)CH(3)-4)(8)(THF)(4)]. The crystal structure of [Pt(2)Ag(4)(Ctbd1;CCtbd1;CC(6)H(4)CH(3)-4)(8)(THF)(4)] has also been determined. A comparison study of the spectroscopic properties of the hexanuclear platinum-silver complex with its precursor complex has been made and their spectroscopic origins were suggested.  相似文献

The complex [Cu(L‐Phe)(TATP)(H2O)]ClO4.0.5H2O has been synthesized and investigated by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, spectroscopic and X‐ray diffraction methods, where TATP= 1,4,8,9‐tetraazatriphenylene and L‐phe = L‐phenylaninate group. The complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group PI with two molecules in a unit cell of dimensions a=0.5730(l), b = 1.0190(2), c = 2.1430(4), α= 97.50 (1)°, β = 95.33(3)°, γ= 102.85(1)°, V= 1.1998(4) nm3, R1 = 0.0360, wR2 = 0.0400. The crystal contains two independent [Cu(L‐Phe) (TATP)(H2O)]+ complexes Cu1 and Cu2, having essentially the same distorted square‐pyramidal structure, where each Cu(II) ion coordinates two nitrogen atoms of TATP and the amino nitrogen and carboxylate oxygen atoms of L‐Phe in the equatorial positions and one water oxygen at an axial position.  相似文献

The reactions of the binuclear oxomolybdenum(V) complex [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;-OEt)(2)(&mgr;-HOEt)Mo(O)Cl(2)] (1) with Me(3)Si(allyl) and SbF(3) produce the compounds [Mo(6)O(6)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(6)(&mgr;(2)-Cl)(2)] (2) and [Mo(8)O(8)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(4)(OH)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OH)(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(4)] (3), respectively. Treatment of 1 with the Lewis base PMe(3) affords the tetrameric complex [Mo(4)O(4)Cl(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(2)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)] (4), which represents another link in the chain of clusters produced by the reactions of 1 and simulating the build-up of polymeric molybdenum oxides by sol-gel methods. The crystal structure of 4 has been determined [C(12)H(32)Cl(4)Mo(4)O(12), triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 7.376(2) ?, b = 8.807(3) ?, c = 11.467(4) ?, alpha = 109.61(1) degrees, beta = 92.12(3) degrees, gamma = 103.75(2) degrees, Z = 1]. By contrast, reaction of 1 with the nitrogen base NEt(3), followed by treatment with [PPN]Cl.2H(2)O ([PPN](+) = [Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)](+)), gives the complex [PPN](+)[Et(3)NH](+)[Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-) (6) in 90% yield. Its crystal structure [C(36)H(30)Cl(4)MoNOP(2), triclinic, Pna2(1), a = 21.470(6) ?, b = 16.765(2) ?, c = 9.6155(14) ?, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 90 degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 16] includes the anion [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-), which is a charged derivative of the species forming the gels in sol-gel processes starting from chloromolybdenum ethoxides. Furthermore, compound 1 is found to be catalytically active in esterification and dehydration reactions of alcohols.  相似文献

Treatment of [CuCl(2)(bppyH(2))] (1, bppyH(2) = 2,6-di(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine) with 2 equiv. of AgNO(3) in DMF gave rise to a binuclear Cu(II) complex [Cu(2)(bppyH)(2)(NO(3))(2)] (bppyH = 2-(pyrazol-3-yl)-6-(pyrazolate)pyridine) (2). Complex 2 was characterized by elemental analysis, IR and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 2 has a dimeric structure in which the two Cu(ii) centers are bridged by a couple of the in situ-generated bppyH(-) anions. Each Cu(II) center is further coordinated by one O atom of a NO(3)(-) anion and three N atoms of one bppyH(-) anion. Complex 2 exhibited a higher catalytic activity in the polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) than the precursor complex 1. Even though the ratio of catalyst to MMA was raised up to 1 : 1500, the PDI for 2 (reaction time was fixed at 4 h) is 1.63 and the conversion is up to 72%. The effects of solvent, reaction temperature and the ratio of MMA to catalyst were also investigated.  相似文献

Three novel copper(II) complexes, [Cu(Gly‐l ‐Val)(HPBM)(H2O)]·ClO4·H2O ( 1 ), [Cu(Gly‐l ‐Val)(TBZ)(H2O)]·ClO4 ( 2 ) and [Cu(Gly‐l ‐Val)(PBO)(H2O)]·ClO4 ( 3 ) (Gly‐l ‐Val = glycyl‐l ‐valine anion, HPBM = 5‐methyl‐2‐(2′‐pyridyl)benzimidazole, TBZ = 2‐(4′‐thiazolyl)benzimidazole, PBO = 2‐(2′‐pyridyl)benzoxazole), have been prepared and characterized with elemental analyses, conductivity measurements as well as various spectroscopic techniques. The interactions of these copper complexes with calf thymus DNA were explored using UV–visible, fluorescence, circular dichroism, thermal denaturation, viscosity and docking analyses methods. The experimental results showed that all three complexes could bind to DNA via an intercalative mode. Moreover, the cytotoxic effects were evaluated using the MTT method, and the antimicrobial activity of these complexes was tested against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The results showed that the activities are consistent with their DNA binding abilities, following the order of 1 > 2 > 3 .  相似文献

Reactions of a tungsten trisulfido complex of hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate (Tp*) [Et4N][Tp*WS3] (1) with 3 equiv of CuCl in CHCl3 afforded a tetranuclear anionic cluster [Et4N][Tp*W(mu3-S)3(CuCl)3] (2), while that of 1 with 3 equiv of CuNCS in MeCN produced a decanuclear neutral cluster (major product) [Tp*W(mu3-S)3Cu3(mu-NCS)3(CuMeCN)]2 (3) along with a binuclear anionic cluster (minor product) [Et4N][Tp*WO(mu-S)2(CuNCS)] (4). Solvothermal reactions of 1 with 3 equiv of CuCN in MeCN at 80 degrees C for 48 h followed by slowly cooling it to ambient temperature gave rise to a polymeric cluster [Tp*W(mu3-S)(mu-S)2Cu2(MeCN)(mu-CN)]n (5). Compounds 2-5 were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-vis, 1H NMR, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The cluster anion of 2 has a [Tp*WS3Cu3] incomplete cube with one Cl atom coordinated at each Cu center. 3 is composed of an unprecedented centrosymmetric W2Cu8 cluster core in which each void of the two single incomplete cubane-like [Tp*W(mu3-S)3Cu3(mu-NCS)]+ cations is partially filled with an extra [Cu(MeCN)(mu-NCS)2]- anion via a pair of Cu-mu-NCS-Cu bridges. The cluster anion of 4 contains one WS2Cu core that is formed by an oxidized [Tp*WO(mu-S)2] species and one CuNCS fragment. 5 consists of butterfly shaped [Tp*W(mu3-S)(mu-S)2Cu2(MeCN)] fragments that are interconnected via cyanide bridges to form a 1D spiral chain extending along the c axis. The successful synthesis of 2-5 from 1 suggests that 1 may be an excellent synthon to the W/Cu/S clusters. In addition, the third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of 1-3 in solution were also investigated by femtosecond degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) technique with a 80 fs pulse width at 800 nm. Although 2 was not detected to have NLO effects, 1 and 3 exhibited relatively good optical nonlinearities with the nonlinear refractive index n2 and the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility chi(3) values being 0.79 x 10(-13) and 0.38 x 10(-14) esu (1) and 2.08 x 10(-13) and 1.00 x 10(-14) esu (3), respectively. Four Cu(I) complexes were synthesized with a family of pyridylmethylamide ligands, HL(R) [HL(R) = N-(2-pyridylmethyl)acetamide, R = null; 2,2-dimethyl-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)propionamide, R = Me(3); 2,2,2-triphenyl-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)acetamide, R = Ph(3))]. Complexes 1-3 were synthesized from the respective ligand and [Cu(CH(3)CN)(4)]PF(6) in a 2 : 1 molar ratio: [Cu(HL)(2)]PF(6) (1), [Cu(2)(HL(Me3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2), [Cu(HL(Ph3))(2)]PF(6) (3). Complex 4, [Cu(HL)(CH(3)CN)(PPh(3))]PF(6), was synthesized from the reaction of HL with [Cu(CH(3)CN)(4)]PF(6) and PPh(3) in a 1 : 1 : 1 molar ratio. X-Ray crystal structures reveal that complexes 1, 3 and 4 are mononuclear Cu(I) species, while complex 2 is a Cu(I) dimer. The copper ions are four-coordinate with geometries ranging from distorted tetrahedral to seesaw in 1, 2, and 4. Complexes 1 and 2 are very air sensitive and they display similar electrochemical properties. The coordination geometry of complex 3 is nearly linear, two-coordinate. Complex 3 is exceptionally stable with respect to oxidation in the air, and its cyclic voltammetry shows no oxidation wave in the range of 0-1.5 V. The unusual inertness of complex 3 towards oxidation is attributed to the protection from bulky triphenyl substituent of the HL(Ph3) ligand. A new geometric parameter for four-coordinate compounds, tau(4), is proposed as an improved, simple metric for quantitatively evaluating the geometry of four-coordinate complexes and compounds.  相似文献
