A new series of geometrically different complexes containing ferrocenyl hydrazone ligands were synthesised by reacting suitable precursor complex [MCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)] with the ligands HL(1) or HL(2) (where M = Cu(II) or Ni(II); HL(1) = [Cp(2)Fe(CH=N-NH-CO-C(6)H(5))] (1) and HL(2) = [Cp(2)Fe(CH=N-NH-CO-C(5)H(4)N)]) (2). The new complexes of the composition [Cu(L(1))(PPh(3))(2)], (3) [Cu(L(2))(PPh(3))(2)] (4), [Ni(L(1))(2)] (5) and [Ni(L(2))(2)] (6) were characterised by various spectral studies. Among them, complexes 3 and 5 characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction showed a distorted tetrahedral structure for the former with 1:1 metal-ligand stoichiometry, but a distorted square planar geometry with 1:2 metal-ligand stoichiometry in the case of the latter. Systematic biological investigations like DNA binding, DNA cleavage, protein binding, free radical scavenging and cytotoxicity activities were carried out using all the synthesised compounds and the results obtained were explained on the basis of structure-activity relationships. The binding constant (K(b)) values of the synthesised compounds are found to be in the order of magnitude 10(3)-10(5) M(-1) and also they exhibit significant cleavage of supercoiled (SC) pUC19 DNA in the presence of H(2)O(2) as co-oxidant. The conformational changes of bovine serum albumin (BSA) upon binding with the above complexes were also studied. In addition, concentration dependent free radical scavenging potential of all the synthesised compounds (1-6) was also carried out under in vitro conditions. Assays on the cytotoxicity of the above complexes against HeLa and A431 tumor cells and NIH 3T3 normal cells were also carried out.  相似文献

Reactions of 1,1'-bis(dipheny1phosphino)cobaltocene with Co(PMe(3))(4), Ni(PMe(3))(4), Fe(PMe(3))(4), Ni(COD)(2), FeMe(2)(PMe(3))(4) or NiMe(2)(PMe(3))(3) afford a series of novel dinuclear complexes [((Me(3)P)[lower bond 1 start]Co(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2)))((Me(3)P)M[upper bond 1 end](η(5)-C(5)H(4)P[lower bond 1 end]Ph(2)))] (M = Co(1), Ni(2) and Fe(3)) [Co(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)Ni[upper bond 1 end](COD)](4), [Co(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)Ni[upper bond 1 end](PMe(3))(2)] (5) and [((Me(3)P)[lower bond 1 start]Co(Me)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2)))((Me(3)P)Fe[upper bond 1 end](Me)(η(5)-C(5)H(4)P[lower bond 1 end]Ph(2)))] (6). Reactions of 1,1'-bis(dipheny1phosphino)ferrocene with Ni(PMe(3))(4), NiMe(2)(PMe(3))(3), or Co(PMe(3))(4) gives rise to complexes [Fe(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)M[upper bond 1 end](PMe(3))(2)] (M = Ni (7), Co (8)). The complexes 1-8 were spectroscopically investigated and studied by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The possible reaction mechanisms and structural characteristics are discussed. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations strongly support the deductions.  相似文献

Four new bivalent nickel hydrazone complexes have been synthesised from the reactions of [NiCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)] with H(2)L {L = dianion of the hydrazones derived from the condensation of salicylaldehyde or o-hydroxy acetophenone with p-toluic acid hydrazide (H(2)L(1)) (1), (H(2)L(2)) (2) and o-hydroxy acetophenone or o-hydroxy naphthaldehyde with benzhydrazide (H(2)L(3)) (3) and (H(2)L(4)) (4)} and formulated as [Ni(L(1))(PPh(3))] (5), [Ni(L(2))(PPh(3))] (6), [Ni(L(3))(PPh(3))] (7) and [Ni(L(4))(PPh(3))] (8). Structural characterization of complexes 5-8 were accomplished by using various physico-chemical techniques. In order to study the influence of substitution in the ligand and its planarity on the biological activity of complexes 5-8 containing them, suitable hydrazone ligands 1-4 have been selected in this study. Single crystal diffraction data of complexes 5, 7 and 8 proved the geometry of the complexes to be distorted square planar with a 1 : 1 ratio between the metal ion and the coordinated hydrazones. To provide more insight on the mode of action of complexes 5-8 under biological conditions, additional experiments involving their interaction with calf thymus DNA (CT DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were monitored by UV-visible and fluorescence titrations respectively. Further, the ligands 1-4 and corresponding nickel(ii) chelates 5-8 have been tested for their scavenging effect towards OH and O(2)(-) radicals. The effect of complexes 5-8 to arrest the growth of HeLa and Hep-2 tumour cell lines has been studied along with the cell viability against the non-cancerous NIH 3T3 cells under in vitro conditions.  相似文献

Reaction of benzaldehyde semicarbazone (HL-R, where H is a dissociable proton and R is a substituent (R = OMe, Me, H, Cl, NO(2)) at the para position of the phenyl ring) with [Ru(PPh(3))(3)Cl(2)] and [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO2)Cl2] has afforded complexes of different types. When HL-NO(2) and [Ru(PPh(3))(3)Cl2] react in solution at ambient temperature, trans-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-NO2Cl] is obtained. Its structure determination by X-ray crystallography shows that L-NO2 is coordinated as a tridentate C,N,O-donor ligand. When reaction between HL-NO2 and [Ru(PPh(3))(3)Cl2] is carried out in refluxing ethanol, a more stable cis isomer of [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-NO2)Cl] is obtained. The trans isomer can be converted to the cis isomer simply by providing appropriate thermal energy. Slow reaction of HL-R with [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO2)Cl2] in solution at ambient temperature yields 5-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-R)(CO)Cl] complexes. A structure determination of 5-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-NO2)(CO)Cl] shows that the semicarbazone ligand is coordinated as a bidentate N,O-donor, forming a five-membered chelate ring. When reaction between HL-R and [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO2Cl2] is carried out in refluxing ethanol, the 4-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-R)(CO)Cl] complexes are obtained. A structure determination of 4-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-NO2)(CO)Cl] shows that a semicarbazone ligand is bound to ruthenium as a bidentate N,O-donor, forming a four-membered chelate ring. All the complexes are diamagnetic (low-spin d(6), S = 0). The trans- and cis-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-NO2)Cl] complexes undergo chemical transformation in solution. The 5- and 4-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-R)(CO)Cl] complexes show sharp NMR signals and intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. Cyclic voltammetry of the 5-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-R)(CO)Cl] and 4-[Ru(PPh(3))(2)(L-R)(CO)Cl] complexes show the Ru(II)-Ru(III) oxidation to be within 0.66-1.07 V. This oxidation potential is found to linearly correlate with the Hammett constant of the substituent R.  相似文献

Reaction of 2-(arylazo)phenols (H(2)ap-R; R = OCH(3), CH(3), H, Cl, and NO(2)) with [Os(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(2)(HCOO)(2)] affords a family of organometallic complexes of osmium(II) of type [Os(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)] where the 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligand is coordinated to the metal center as a tridentate C,N,O-donor. Structure of the [Os(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-H)] complex has been determined by X-ray crystallography. All the [Os(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)] complexes are diamagnetic and show characteristic (1)H NMR signals and intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. They also show emission in the visible region at ambient temperature. Cyclic voltammetry on the [Os(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)] complexes shows a reversible Os(II)-Os(III) oxidation within 0.39-0.73 V vs SCE, followed by a reversible Os(III)-Os(IV) oxidation within 1.06-1.61 V vs SCE. Coulometric oxidation of the [Os(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)] complexes generates the [Os(III)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)](+) complexes, which have been isolated as the hexafluorophosphate salts. The [Os(III)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)]PF(6) complexes are one-electron paramagnetic and show axial ESR spectra. In solution they behave as 1:1 electrolytes and show intense LMCT transitions in the visible region. The [Os(III)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(ap-R)]PF(6) complexes have been observed to serve as mild one-electron oxidants in a nonaqueous medium.  相似文献

Reactions of Fe[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) with 1 and 2 equiv of Ph(3)SiSH in hexane afforded dinuclear silanethiolato complexes, [Fe(N(SiMe(3))(2))(mu-SSiPh(3))](2) (1) and [Fe(SSiPh(3))(mu-SSiPh(3))](2) (2), respectively. Various Lewis bases were readily added to 2, generating mononuclear adducts, Fe(SSiPh(3))(2)(L)(2) [L = CH(3)CN (3a), 4-(t)BuC(5)H(4)N (3b), PEt(3) (3c), (LL) = tmeda (3d)]. From the analogous reactions of M[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) (M = Mn, Co) and [Ni(NPh(2))(2)](2) with Ph(3)SiSH in the presence of TMEDA, the corresponding silanethiolato complexes, M(SSiPh(3))(2)(tmeda) [M = Mn (4), Co (5), Ni (6)], were isolated. Treatment of 3a with (PPh(4))(2)[MoS(4)] or (NEt(4))(2)[FeCl(4)] resulted in formation of a linear trinuclear Fe-Mo-Fe cluster (PPh(4))(2)[MoS(4)(Fe(SSiPh(3))(2))(2)] (7) or a dinuclear complex (NEt(4))(2)[Fe(2)(SSiPh(3))(2)Cl(4)] (8). On the other hand, the reaction of 3a with [Cu(CH(3)CN)(4)](PF(6)) gave a cyclic tetranuclear copper cluster Cu(4)(SSiPh(3))(4) (9), where silanethiolato ligands were transferred from iron to copper. Silicon-sulfur bond cleavage was found to occur when the cobalt complex 5 was treated with (NBu(4))F in THF, and a cobalt-sulfido cluster Co(6)(mu(3)-S)(8)(PPh(3))(6) (10) was isolated upon addition of PPh(3) to the reaction system. The silanethiolato complexes reported here are expected to serve as convenient precursors for sulfido cluster synthesis.  相似文献

The tridentate bis-phosphinimine ligands O(1,2-C(6)H(4)N=PPh(3))(2)1, HN(1,2-C(2)H(4)N=PR(3))(2) (R = Ph 2, iPr 3), MeN(1,2-C(2)H(4)N=PPh(3))(2)4 and HN(1,2-C(6)H(4)N=PPh(3))(2)5 were prepared. Employing these ligands, monometallic Pd and Ni complexes O(1,2-C(6)H(4)N=PPh(3))(2)PdCl(2)6, RN(1,2-CH(2)CH(2)N=PPh(3))(2)PdCl][Cl] (R = H 7, Me 8), [HN(1,2-CH(2)CH(2)N=PiPr(3))(2)PdCl][Cl] 9, [MeN(1,2-CH(2)CH(2)N=PPh(3))(2)PdCl][PF(6)] 10, [HN(1,2-CH(2)CH(2)N=PPh(3))(2)NiCl(2)] 11, [HN(1,2-CH(2)CH(2)N=PR(3))(2)NiCl][X] (X = Cl, R = iPr 12, X = PF(6), R = Ph 13, iPr 14), and [HN(1,2-C(6)H(4)N=PPh(3))(2)Ni(MeCN)(2)][BF(4)]Cl 15 were prepared and characterized. While the ether-bis-phosphinimine ligand 1 acts in a bidentate fashion to Pd, the amine-bis-phosphinimine ligands 2-5 act in a tridentate fashion, yielding monometallic complexes of varying geometries. In contrast, initial reaction of the amine-bis-phosphinimine ligands with base followed by treatment with NiCl(2)(DME), afforded the amide-bridged bimetallic complexes N(1,2-CH(2)CH(2)N=PR(3))(2)Ni(2)Cl(3) (R = Ph 16, iPr 17) and N(1,2-C(6)H(4)N=PPh(3))(2)Ni(2)Cl(3)18. The precise nature of a number of these complexes were crystallographically characterized.  相似文献

The reaction of 9,10-phenanthrenequinone (PQ) with [M(II)(H)(CO)(X)(PPh(3))(3)] in boiling toluene leads to the homolytic cleavage of the M(II)-H bond, affording the paramagnetic trans-[M(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)X] (M = Ru, X = Cl, 1; M = Os, X = Br, 3) and cis-[M(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)X] (M = Ru, X = Cl, 2; M = Os, X = Br, 4) complexes. Single-crystal X-ray structure determinations of 1, 2·toluene, and 4·CH(2)Cl(2), EPR spectra, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations have substantiated that 1-4 are 9,10-phenanthrenesemiquinone radical (PQ(?-)) complexes of ruthenium(II) and osmium(II) and are defined as trans-[Ru(II)(PQ(?-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Cl] (1), cis-[Ru(II)(PQ(?-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Cl] (2), trans-[Os(II)(PQ(?-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO) Br] (3), and cis-[Os(II)(PQ(?-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Br] (4). Two comparatively longer C-O [average lengths: 1, 1.291(3) ?; 2·toluene, 1.281(5) ?; 4·CH(2)Cl(2), 1.300(8) ?] and shorter C-C lengths [1, 1.418(5) ?; 2·toluene, 1.439(6) ?; 4·CH(2)Cl(2), 1.434(9) ?] of the OO chelates are consistent with the presence of a reduced PQ(?-) ligand in 1-4. A minor contribution of the alternate resonance form, trans- or cis-[M(I)(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)X], of 1-4 has been predicted by the anisotropic X- and Q-band electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of the frozen glasses of the complexes at 25 K and unrestricted DFT calculations on 1, trans-[Ru(PQ)(PMe(3))(2)(CO)Cl] (5), cis-[Ru(PQ)(PMe(3))(2)(CO)Cl] (6), and cis-[Os(PQ)(PMe(3))(2)(CO)Br] (7). However, no thermodynamic equilibria between [M(II)(PQ(?-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO)X] and [M(I)(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)X] tautomers have been detected. 1-4 undergo one-electron oxidation at -0.06, -0.05, 0.03, and -0.03 V versus a ferrocenium/ferrocene, Fc(+)/Fc, couple because of the formation of PQ complexes as trans-[Ru(II)(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Cl](+) (1(+)), cis-[Ru(II)(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Cl](+) (2(+)), trans-[Os(II)(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Br](+) (3(+)), and cis-[Os(II)(PQ)(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Br](+) (4(+)). The trans isomers 1 and 3 also undergo one-electron reduction at -1.11 and -0.96 V, forming PQ(2-) complexes trans-[Ru(II)(PQ(2-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Cl](-) (1(-)) and trans-[Os(II)(PQ(2-))(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Br](-) (3(-)). Oxidation of 1 by I(2) affords diamagnetic 1(+)I(3)(-) in low yields. Bond parameters of 1(+)I(3)(-) [C-O, 1.256(3) and 1.258(3) ?; C-C, 1.482(3) ?] are consistent with ligand oxidation, yielding a coordinated PQ ligand. Origins of UV-vis/near-IR absorption features of 1-4 and the electrogenerated species have been investigated by spectroelectrochemical measurements and time-dependent DFT calculations on 5, 6, 5(+), and 5(-).  相似文献

Reaction of the potassium salts of N-thiophosphorylated thioureas of common formula RC(S)NHP(S)(OiPr)(2) [R = morpholin-N-yl (HL(a)), piperidin-N-yl (HL(b)), NH(2) (HL(c)), PhCH(2)NH (HL(d))] with Cu(PPh(3))(3)I in aqueous EtOH/CH(2)Cl(2) leads to mononuclear [Cu(PPh(3))(2)L-S,S'] complexes. Using copper(i) iodide instead of Cu(PPh(3))(3)I, polynuclear complexes [Cu(n)(L-S,S')(n)] were obtained. The structures of these compounds were investigated by ES-MS, elemental analyses, 1H and 31P NMR in solution, IR and 31P solid-state MAS NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of [Cu(3)L(3)(a)] and [Cu(PPh(3))(2)L(b)] were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Na[cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4))] (1) reacts with [NiCl(2)(PEt(3))(2)] and [PdCl(2)(PMe(2)Ph)(2)] with elimination of tBuCl and formation of the corresponding metal(0) cyclopentaphosphene complexes [Ni{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(3))}(PEt(3))(2)] (2) and [Pd{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(3))}(PMe(2)Ph)(2)] (3). In contrast, complexes with the more labile triphenylphosphane ligand, such as [MCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (M=Ni, Pd), react with 1 with formation of [NiCl{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4))}(PPh(3))] (4) and [Pd{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4))}(2)] (5), respectively, in which the cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4)) ligand is intact. In the case of palladium, the cyclopentaphosphene complex [Pd{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(3))}(PPh(3))(2)] (6) in trace amounts is also formed. However, [Ni{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4))}(2)] (7) is easily obtained by reaction of two equivalents of 1 and one equivalent of [NiCl(2)(bipy)] at room temperature. Complex 7 rearranges on heating in n-hexane or toluene to the previously unknown [Ni{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4))PtBu}{cyclo-(P(4)tBu(3))}] (8), which presumably is formed via the intermediate [Ni{cyclo-(P(5)tBu(4))}{cyclo-(P(4)tBu(3))PtBu}], which, after an unexpected and unprecedented phosphanediide migration, gives 8, but always as an inseparable mixture with 7. In the reaction of 1 with [PtCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)], ring contraction and formation of [PtCl{cyclo-(P(4)tBu(3))PtBu}(PMe(2)Ph)] (9) is observed. Complexes 3-5 and 7-9 were characterised by (31)P NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray structures were obtained for 5-9.  相似文献

Reaction of 2-(arylazo)phenols with [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] affords a family of organometallic complexes of ruthenium(II) of type [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(CNO-R)], where the 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligand (CNO-R; R = OCH(3), CH(3), H, Cl, and NO(2)) is coordinated to the metal center as tridentate C,N,O-donor. Another group of intermediate complexes of type [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(NO-R)(H)] has also been isolated, where the 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligand (NO-R) is coordinated to the metal center as bidentate N,O-donor. Structures of the [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(NO-OCH(3))(H)] and [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(CNO-OCH(3))] complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. All the complexes are diamagnetic and show characteristic (1)H NMR signals and intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. Both the [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(NO-R)(H)] and [Ru(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(CNO-R)] complexes show two oxidative responses on the positive side of SCE.  相似文献

Complexes [Pt(mu-N,S-8-TT)(PPh(3))(2)](2) (1), [Pt(mu-S,N-8-TT)(PTA)(2)](2) (2), [Pt(8-TTH)(terpy)]BF(4) (3), cis-[PtCl(8-MTT)(PPh(3))(2)] (4), cis-[Pt(8-MTT)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (5), cis-[Pt(8-MTT)(8-TTH)(PPh(3))(2)] (6), cis-[PtCl(8-MTT)(PTA)(2)] (7), cis-[Pt(8-MTT)(2)(PTA)(2)] (8), and trans-[Pt(8-MTT)(2)(py)(2)] (9) (8-TTH(2) = 8-thiotheophylline; 8-MTTH = 8-(methylthio)theophylline; PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane) are presented and studied by IR and multinuclear ((1)H, (31)P[(1)H]) NMR spectroscopy. The solid-state structure of 4 and 9 has been authenticated by X-ray crystallography. Growth inhibition of the cancer cells T2 and SKOV3 induced by the above new thiopurine platinum complexes has been investigated. The activity shown by complexes 4 and 9 was comparable with cisplatin on T2. Remarkably, 4 and 9 displayed also a valuable activity on cisplatin-resistant SKOV3 cancer cells.  相似文献

Reaction of 2-(arylazo)phenols with [Ir(PPh(3))(3)Cl] in refluxing ethanol in the presence of a base (NEt(3)) affords complexes of three different types, viz. [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(NO-R)(H)Cl] (R = OCH(3), CH(3), H, Cl and NO(2)), [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(NO-R)(H)(2)] and [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(CNO-R)(H)]. Structures of the [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(NO-Cl)(H)Cl], [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(NO-Cl)(H)(2)] and [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(CNO-Cl)(H)] complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. In the [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(NO-R)(H)Cl] and [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(NO-R)(H)(2)] complexes, the 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligands are coordinated to the metal center as monoanionic bidentate N,O-donors, whereas in the [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(CNO-R)(H)] complexes, they are coordinated to iridium as dianionic tridentate C,N,O-donors. In all three products formed in ethanol, the two PPh(3) ligands are trans. Reaction of 2-(arylazo)phenols with [Ir(PPh(3))(3)Cl] in refluxing toluene in the presence of NEt(3) affords complexes of two types, viz. [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(CNO-R)(H)] and [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(CNO-R)Cl]. Structure of the [Ir(PPh(3))(2)(CNO-Cl)Cl] complex has been determined by X-ray crystallography, and the 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligand is coordinated to the metal center as a dianionic tridentate C,N,O-donor and the two PPh(3) ligands are cis. All of the iridium(III) complexes show intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. Cyclic voltammetry shows an Ir(III)-Ir(IV) oxidation on the positive side of SCE and an Ir(III)-Ir(II) reduction on the negative side for all of the products.  相似文献

The reaction of AgClO(4) and NH(3) in acetone gave [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1). The reactions of 1 with [RhCl(diolefin)](2) or [RhCl(CO)(2)](2) (2:1) gave the bis(acetimine) complexes [Rh(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) [diolefin = 1,5 cyclooctadiene = cod (2), norbornadiene = nbd (3)] or [Rh(CO)(2)(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (4), respectively. Mono(acetimine) complexes [Rh(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) [diolefin = cod (5), nbd (6)] or [RhCl(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))] [diolefin = cod (7), nbd (8)] were obtained by reacting 2 or 3 with PPh(3) (1:1) or with Me(4)NCl (1:1.1), respectively. The reaction of 4 with PR(3) (R = Ph, To, molar ratio 1:2) led to [Rh(CO)(NH=CMe(2))(PR(3))(2)]ClO(4) [R = Ph (9), C(6)H(4)Me-4 = To (10)] while cis-[Rh(CO)(NH=CMe(2))(2)(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (11) was isolated from the reaction of 1 with [RhCl(CO)(PPh(3))](2) (1:1). The crystal structures of 5 and [Ag[H(2)NC(Me)(2)CH(2)C(O)Me](PTo(3))]ClO(4) (A), a product obtained in a reaction between NH(3), AgClO(4), and PTo(3), have been determined.  相似文献

Treatment of [Mo(N(2))(PMe(3))(5)] with two equivalents GaCp* (Cp* = η(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5)) leads to the formation of cis-[Mo(GaCp*)(2)(PMe(3))(4)] (1), while AlCp* did not react with this precursor. In addition, [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (2a), [Ni(AlCp*)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (2b), [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PCy(3))(2)] (3a), [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PMe(3))(2)] (3b), [Ni(GaCp*)(3)(PCy(3))] (4) and [Ni(GaCp*)(PMe(3))(3)] (5) have been prepared in high yields by a direct synthesis from [Ni(COD)(2)] and stoichiometric amounts of the ligands PR(3) and ECp* (E = Al, Ga), respectively. All compounds have been fully characterized by (1)H, (13)C, and (31)P NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Oxidative addition of different imidazolium cations to zerovalent group 10 metals, to afford heterocyclic carbene complexes, has been investigated by both density functional theory (DFT) and experimental studies. The theoretical analysis shows that addition of imidazoliums to Pt(0) and Ni(0) is more exothermic than to Pd(0), and Ni(0) is predicted to react with a much lower barrier than either Pt(0) or Pd(0). Strongly basic supporting ligands on the metal, as well as cis-chelating ligands, increase the exothermicity of the reaction and also lower the activation barrier. The addition of 2-H imidazoliums is easier and more exothermic than addition of 2-alkylimidazoliums, and a halo-imidazolium is expected to further lower the barrier to oxidative addition and increase the exothermicity. The DFT results show that all three of the metals should be able to oxidatively add imidazolium cations under appropriate conditions. Experimental studies confirmed that oxidative addition is possible, and a number of Pt- and Pd-carbene complexes were prepared via oxidative addition of imidazolium salts to M(0) precursors. Most significantly, oxidative addition of 2-H azolium salts was found to readily occur, and the reaction of 1,3-dimethylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate with Pt(PPh(3))(2) and Pt(PCy(3))(2) affords [PtH(dmiy)(PPh(3))(2)]BF(4) (10) and [PtH(dmiy)(PCy(3))(2)]BF(4) (11), while reaction between 3,4-dimethylthiazolium tetrafluoroborate and Pt(PCy(3))(2) yields [PtH(dmty)(PCy(3))(2)]BF(4) (12) (dmiy = 1,3-dimethylimidazolin-2-ylidene, dmty = 3,4-dimethylthiazolin-2-ylidene). Addition of 2-iodo-1,3,4,5-tetramethylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate to Pt(PPh(3))(4) or Pd(dcype)(dba) yields [PtI(tmiy)(PPh(3))(2)]BF(4) (9) and [PdI(tmiy)(dcype)]BF(4) (14), respectively (tmiy = 1,3,4,5-tetramethylimidazolin-2-ylidene, dcype = 1,3-bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)ethane)). X-ray crystal structures are reported for complexes 9 and 11 (cis and trans). These studies clearly show for the first time that oxidative addition of imidazolium and thiazolium cations is possible, and the results are discussed in terms of the ramifications for catalysis in imidazolium-based ionic liquids with both carbene-based and non-carbene-based complexes.  相似文献

Reactions between methyldiphenylphosphane selenide, SePPh(2)Me, and different group 11 metal starting materials {CuCl, [CuNO(3)(PPh(3))(2)], AgOTf, [AgOTf(PPh(3))] (OTf = OSO(2)CF(3)), [AuCl(tht)], [Au(C(6)F(5))(tht)] and [Au(C(6)F(5))(3)(tht)] (tht = tetrahydrothiophene)} were performed in order to obtain several new species with metal-selenium bonds. The new complexes [CuCl(SePPh(2)Me)] (1), [AgOTf(SePPh(2)Me)] (2), [AuCl(SePPh(2)Me)] (5), [Au(C(6)F(5))(SePPh(2)Me)] (6) and [Au(C(6)F(5))(3)(SePPh(2)Me)] (7) were isolated and structurally characterized in solution by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy ((1)H, (31)P, (77)Se and (19)F where appropriate). Solid products were isolated also from the reactions between SePPh(2)Me and [CuNO(3)(PPh(3))(2)] or [AgOTf(PPh(3))], respectively. NMR experiments, including low temperature (1)H and (31)P NMR, revealed for them a dynamic behaviour in solution, involving the transfer of selenium from PPh(2)Me to PPh(3). In case of the isolated silver(i) containing solid an equilibrium between, respectively, monomeric [AgOTf(PPh(3))(SePPh(2)Me)] (3) and [AgOTf(PPh(2)Me)(SePPh(3))] (4), and dimeric [Ag(PPh(3))(μ-SePPh(2)Me)](2)(OTf)(2) (3a) and [Ag(PPh(2)Me)(μ-SePPh(3))](2)(OTf)(2) (4a) species was observed in solution. In case of the isolated copper(i) containing solid the NMR studies brought no clear evidence for a similar behaviour, but it can not be excluded in a first stage of the reaction. However the transfer of selenium between the two triorganophosphanes takes place also in this case, but the NMR spectra suggest that the final reaction mixture contains the free triorganophospane selenides SePPh(2)Me and SePPh(3) as well as the complex species [CuNO(3)(PPh(3))(2)], [CuNO(3)(PPh(2)Me)(2)] and [CuNO(3)(PPh(3))(PPh(2)Me)] in equilibrium. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed monomeric structures for the gold(I) 6 and gold(III) 7 complexes. In case of compound 6 weak aurophilic gold(I)···gold(I) contacts were also observed in the crystal. DFT calculations were performed in order to understand the solution behaviour of the silver(I) and copper(I) species containing both P(III) and P(V) ligands, to verify the stability of possible dimeric species and to account for the aurophilic interactions found for 6. In addition, the nature of the electronic transitions involved in the absorption/emission processes observed for 6 and 7 in the solid state were also investigated by means of TD-DFT calculations.  相似文献

An uncommon coordination protocol induced by the p-tolylsulfonyl dithiocarbimate ligand (L) [L = p-CH(3)C(6)H(4)SO(2)N[double bond, length as m-dash]CS(2)(2-)] in conjunction with PPh(3) allowed the formation of novel homodimetallic, Cu(2)(PPh(3))(4)L (1), trinuclear heterometallic Cu(2)Ni(L)(2)(PPh(3))(4) (2) and heteroleptic complexes of general formula cis-[M(PPh(3))(2)L] [M = Pd(ii) (3), Pt(ii) (4)]. The complexes have been characterized by microanalysis, mass spectrometry, IR, (1)H, (13)C and (31)P NMR and electronic absorption spectra and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. 2 uniquely consists of square planar, trigonal planar and tetrahedral coordination spheres within the same molecule. In both heteroleptic complexes 3 and 4 the orientation of aromatic protons of PPh(3) ligand towards the Pd(ii) and Pt(ii) center reveals C-HPd and C-HPt rare intramolecular anagostic or preagostic interactions. These complexes exhibit photoluminescent properties in solution at room temperature arising mainly from intraligand charge transfer (ILCT) transitions. The assignment of electronic absorption bands has been corroborated by time dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations. Complexes 1 and 2 with σ(rt) values ~ 10(-6) S cm(-1) show semi-conductor properties in the temperature range 313-403 K whereas 3 and 4 exhibit insulating behaviour.  相似文献

Three new bivalent nickel hydrazone complexes have been synthesised from the reactions of [NiCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)] with H(2)L {L = dianion of the hydrazones derived from the condensation of o-hydroxynaphthaldehyde with furoic acid hydrazide (H(2)L(1)) (1)/thiophene-2-acid hydrazide (H(2)L(2)) (2)/isonicotinic acid hydrazide (H(2)L(3)) (3)} and formulated as [Ni(L(1))(PPh(3))] (4), [Ni(L(2))(PPh(3))] (5) and [Ni(L(3))(PPh(3))] (6). Structural characterization of these compounds 4-6 were accomplished by using various physico-chemical techniques. Single crystal X-ray diffraction data of complexes 4 and 5 proved their distorted square planar geometry. In order to ascertain the potential of the above synthesised compounds towards biomolecular interactions, additional experiments involving interaction with calf thymus DNA (CT DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were carried out. All the ligands and corresponding nickel(ii) chelates have been screened for their scavenging effect towards O(2)(-), OH and NO radicals. The efficiency of complexes 4-6 to arrest the growth of HeLa, HepG-2 and A431 tumour cell lines has been studied along with the cell viability test against the non-cancerous NIH 3T3 cells under in vitro conditions.  相似文献

The reactions of the hydroxo complexes [M(2)R(4)(mu-OH)(2)](2)(-) (M = Pd, R = C(6)F(5), C(6)Cl(5); M = Pt, R = C(6)F(5)), [[PdR(PPh(3))(mu-OH)](2)] (R = C(6)F(5), C(6)Cl(5)), and [[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)](2)(mu-OH)(mu-pz)](2-) (pz = pyrazolate) with H(2)S yield the corresponding hydrosulfido complexes [M(2)(C(6)F(5))(4)(mu-SH)(2)](2-), [[PdR(PPh(3))(mu-SH)](2)], and [[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)](2)(mu-SH)(mu-pz)](2-), respectively. The monomeric hydrosulfido complexes [M(C(6)F(5))(2)(SH)(PPh(3))](-) (M = Pd, Pt) have been prepared by reactions of the corresponding binuclear hydrosulfido complexes [M(2)(C(6)F(5))(4)(mu-SH)(2)](2-) with PPh(3) in the molar ratio 1:2, and they can be used as metalloligands toward Ag(PPh(3))(+) to form the heterodinuclear complex [(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(3))[S(H)AgPPh(3)]], and toward Au(PPh(3))(+) yielding the heterotrinuclear complexes [M(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(3))[S(AuPPh(3))(2)]]. The crystal structures of [NBu(4)](2)[[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(mu-SH)](2)], [Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(3))[S(H)AgPPh(3)]], and [Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(PPh(3))[S(AuPPh(3))(2)]] have been established by X-ray diffraction and show no short metal-metal interactions between the metallic centers.  相似文献
