Catalytic carbonylation of quaternary ammonium salts under anhydrous conditions was investigated using palladium catalyst. The carbonylation of tetramethylammonium iodide was chosen as a model reaction and studied systematically. Ligand‐free PdCl2 showed efficient catalytic performance for this transformation. A palladium catalyst loading as low as 0.05 mol% was sufficient for high yield (96.9%) of N,N‐dimethylacetamide, corresponding to a turnover frequency of 242 h?1. Under optimum conditions, several other quaternary ammonium halides were also carbonylated to corresponding tertiary amides in moderate to excellent yields. The catalytic activity of commercial palladium on activated carbon (Pd/C) catalyst was also evaluated. The Pd/C catalyst exhibited high activity for this carbonylation reaction and could be recycled six times with a slight decrease in activity. Furthermore, mechanistic considerations concerning Pd‐catalyzed carbonylation of quaternary ammonium halides were also discussed. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The ethylenediamine-functionalized resin-supported Pd(0)complex was prepared from PdCl_2 and ethylenedia-mine-functionalized chloromethylated polystyrene, followed by reduction with KBH_4.The complex was character-ized by FT-IR,XRD,BET,SEM and EDS.The resin-supported catalyst exhibited high catalytic activity in theHeck reaction and could be reused up to 17 times in NMP or 16 times in DMF at 90 ℃ in the Heck reaction of io-dobenzene with acrylic acid. The leaching investigation disclosed that the palladium leaching was caused by the in-teraction of iodobenzene with the metal Pd(0)on supported catalyst. The leached palladium species in filtrate wasvery stable and could be reused five times after the solid catalyst was filtered off.A cross-transfer test in recyclingin the presence of additional carbon disclosed that the soluble leached palladium species had much higher catalyticactivity than supported and/or adsorbed palladium in solid-solution heterogeneous Heck reaction.  相似文献

A Pd(II) Schiff base complex as an efficient and highly heterogeneous catalyst was developed by immobilization of a palladium complex on the surface of modified Fe3O4 magnetite nanoparticles. These surface‐modified nanoparticles were characterized using various techniques such as transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometry, elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The palladium catalyst exhibited efficient catalytic activity in Suzuki and Heck coupling reactions. This method has notable advantages such as excellent chemoselectivity, mild reaction conditions, short reaction times and excellent yields. The yields of the products were in the range 85–100%. Also, the nanocatalyst can be easily recovered with a permanent magnet and reused at least five times without noticeable leaching or loss of its catalytic activity. The sulfonated palladium(II) N‐heterocyclic carbene complex PdII(NHC)SO3?, supported on poly(4‐vinylpyridinium chloride), was used as a heterogeneous, recyclable and active catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction. This catalyst was applied for coupling of various aryl halides with phenylboronic acid and the corresponding products were obtained in excellent yields and short reaction times. The catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared and diffuse reflectance UV–visible spectroscopies, scanning electron microscopy and elemental analysis. After each reaction, the catalyst was recovered easily by simple filtration and reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. Novel catalytic system based on palladium nanoparticles supported on poly (N-vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) grafted silica was prepared. Aminopropylsilica was reacted with acryloyl chloride to form acrylamidopropylsilica, and onto this functionalized silica vinylpyrrolidone monomer was polymerized by free-radical polymerization. The complexation of PVP-grafted silica with PdCl2 was carried out to obtain the heterogeneous catalytic system. X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image showed that palladium dispersed through the support in nanometer size. This catalytic system exhibited excellent activity in cross-coupling reactions of aryl iodides, bromides and also chlorides with olefinic compounds in Heck-Mizoraki reactions in short reaction time and high yields. Elemental analysis of Pd by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technique and hot filtration test showed low leaching of the metal into solution from the supported catalyst. The catalyst can be reused several times in repeating Heck reaction cycles without considerable loss in its activity.  相似文献

New fluorinated aromatic poly (ether ketone amide)s containing cardo structures were prepared by a heterogeneous palladium‐catalyzed polycondensation of fluorinated aromatic diiodides with ether ketone units, aromatic diamines containing cardo groups, and CO. Polymerizations were conducted in N,N‐dimethylacetamide at 120°C using 6 mol% of magnetic nanoparticles‐supported bidentate phosphine palladium (II) complex [Fe3O4@SiO2‐2P‐PdCl2] as catalyst and 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5,4,0]‐7‐undecene as base and resulted in fluorinated cardo poly (ether ketone amide)s with inherent viscosities up to 0.75 dL/g. All the polymers were readily soluble in many organic solvents and could afford transparent, flexible, and strong films by solution casting. These polymers showed good thermal stability with the glass transition temperature of 237°C–258°C, the temperature at 5% weight loss of 462°C–477°C in nitrogen. These polymer films also exhibited good mechanical properties, excellent electrical and dielectric performance, and high optical transparency. The incorporation of bulky fluorinated groups and cardo structures into polymer backbone has played an important role in the improvement of solubility, dielectric performance, and optical properties. Importantly, the heterogeneous palladium catalyst can easily be recovered from the reaction mixture by simply applying an external magnet and recycled up to 7 times without significant loss of catalytic activity.  相似文献

Heterogeneous palladium catalysts anchored on functionalized silica were prepared by sol–gel methods and their catalytic properties for the oxidative carbonylation of phenol to diphenyl carbonate (DPC) were investigated. The catalysts were characterized by means of IR, XPS, EA and BET. The Pd loading in the heterogeneous catalysts and leaching in solution were detected by atomic absorption. The effects of different reaction parameters such as temperature, solvent and inorganic cocatalyst on the yield of DPC and Pd leaching were also studied. It was found that Cu2O and tetrahydrofuran (THF) were the best partners with these heterogeneous catalysts. In the presence of 3 Å molecular sieves as dehydrating agent, the heterogeneous palladium catalyst prepared from 2‐acylpyridine revealed excellent catalytic performance and stability at 110 °C for 5 h, giving 13.7% yield of DPC based on phenol and 4.0% Pd loss in solution. The heterogeneous catalyst was more active and stable compared with traditional supported Pd? C catalyst under the same reaction conditions. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A porous rtl metal–organic framework (MOF) [Mn5L(H2O)6?(DMA)2]?5DMA?4C2H5OH ( 1? Mn) (H10L=5,10,15,20‐tetra(4‐(3,5‐dicarboxylphenoxy)phenyl)porphyrin; DMA=N,N′‐dimethylacetamide) was synthesized by employing a new porphyrin‐based octacarboxylic acid ligand. 1? Mn exhibits high MnII density in the porous framework, providing it great Lewis‐acid heterogeneous catalytic capability for the cycloaddition of CO2 with epoxides. Strikingly, 1? Mn features excellent catalytic activity to the cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides, with a remarkable initial turnover frequency 400 per mole of catalyst per hour at 20 atm. As‐synthesized 1? Mn also exhibits size selectivity to different epoxide substrates on account of their steric hindrance. The high catalytic activity, size selectivity, and stability toward the epoxides on catalytic cycloaddition of CO2 make 1? Mn a promising heterogeneous catalyst for fixation and utilization of CO2.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of magnetically recoverable MIL‐101 was investigated in the oxidation of alkenes to carboxylic acids and cyanosilylation of aldehydes. MIL‐101 was treated with Fe3O4 and the prepared catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, N2 adsorption measurements, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy and inductively coupled plasma analysis. The catalytic active sites in this heterogeneous catalyst are Cr3+ nodes of the MIL‐101 framework. This heterogeneous catalyst has the advantages of excellent yields, short reaction times and reusability several times without significant decrease in its initial activity and stability in both oxidation and cyanosilylation reactions. Its magnetic property allows its easy separation using an external magnetic field.  相似文献

A new generation of N-heterocyclic carbene palladium(II) complexes containing vinyl groups in different positions in the backbone of the N-heterocycle have been developed. The fully characterised monomers were copolymerised with divinylbenzene to fabricate robust polymer supported NHC-PdII complexes and these polymers were applied as heterogeneous catalysts in directed C−H halogenation of arenes with a pyridine-type directing group. The catalysts demonstrated medium-high catalytic activity with up to 90 % conversion and 100 % selectivity in chlorination. They are heterogeneous and recyclable (at least six times) with no significant leaching of palladium in batch mode catalysis. The best catalyst was also applied under continuous flow conditions where it disclosed an exceptional activity (90 % conversion) and 100 % selectivity for the mono-halogenated product for at least six days, with no leaching of palladium, no loss of activity and an ability to maintain the original oxidation state of PdII.  相似文献

An improved and eco‐friendly procedure has been developed to generate mesoporous silica‐supported palladium nanoparticles (SiO2@PdNP) that could be used as a sustainable heterogeneous Pd catalyst for phosphine‐free Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck coupling reactions with excellent turnover number and turnover frequency. The presence of Pd on the silica surface was detected by X‐ray diffraction and the structural morphology of SiO2@PdNP was obtained by transmission electron microscopy. The heterogeneous catalytic system is recyclable and leaching of the metal after the reaction is not apparently observed. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A simple synthetic strategy of polyamide was described from melamine and terephalic acid via one‐step polycondensation. PdCl2 was then immobilized on the polyamide (denoted as Pd/MPA). Melamine and terephalic acid not only acted as monomers but also provided the ligand sites to help the polyamide to coordinate with Pd(II). The Pd/MPA catalyst was characterized by FT‐IR, TGA, SEM, TEM, XPS, N2 adsorption‐desorption and atomic absorption spectroscopy. The catalyst was used in Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reaction of various aryl halides, including less reactive chlorobenzene and benzyl chloride, to give the coupling products in moderate to excellent yields. High turnover frequencies (TOF) up to 29400 h‐1 can be also obtained. In addition, it behaved truly as a heterogeneous catalyst with high reusability after being recycled 6 times and palladium leaching was negligible during the process. This work provides a practical polyamide support to develop heterogeneous palladium catalysts with simple synthetic procedure and low cost.  相似文献

In this work, the design and synthesis of a heterogeneous catalyst based on functionalization of manganese ferrite nanoparticles encapsulated in a silica layer with Schiff base and subsequent incorporation of copper is presented. The fabricated hybrid material was characterized by employing Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, differential thermal gravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometry and inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry techniques. The prepared organic–inorganic hybrid material was successfully used as an efficient and recoverable catalyst for the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridines and N-arylquinolines under mild and green reaction conditions. The results showed that the catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity under optimum reaction conditions and the desired products were obtained in good to excellent yields. The new 1,4-dihydropyridines and N-arylquinolines were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H NMR and Elemental analysis of Carbon, Hydrogen and Nitrogen (CHN) analyses. Study of the catalyst reusability confirmed that the catalyst could be recycled for five reaction runs with slight loss of the catalytic activity and negligible copper leaching.  相似文献

A novel, effective 1‐glycyl‐3‐methyl imidazolium chloride–palladium(II) complex ([Gmim]Cl–Pd(II)) was synthesized and studied as an organocatalyst for the Sonogashira coupling reaction under solvent‐free conditions at 25 °C. The hydrophobic group on amino acid favors reagent diffusion toward the chloroglycine moiety, increasing the catalytic activity of supported palladium complex. By this protocol, different aryl halides (Cl, Br and I) were reacted with phenylacetylene in good to excellent yields with turnover number 8.0 × 102 to 9.6 × 102. The catalyst was recycled for the reaction of bromobenzene with phenylacetylene for eight runs without appreciable loss of its catalytic activity and negligible metal leaching. A functionalized periodic mesoporous organosilica with incorporated chiral bis(cyclohexyldiamine)‐based NiII complexes within the silica framework was developed by the co‐condensation of (1R,2R)‐cyclohexyldiamine‐derived silane and ethylene‐bridge silane, followed by the complexation of NiBr2 in the presence of (1R,2R)‐N,N′‐dibenzylcyclohexyldiamine. Structural characterization by XRD, nitrogen sorption, and TEM disclosed its orderly mesostructure, and FTIR and solid‐state NMR spectroscopy demonstrated the incorporation of well‐defined single‐site bis(cyclohexyldiamine)‐based NiII active centers within periodic mesoporous organosilica. As a chiral heterogeneous catalyst, this functionalized periodic mesoporous organosilica showed high catalytic activity and excellent enantioselectivity in the asymmetric Michael addition of 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds to nitroalkenes, comparable to those with homogeneous catalysts. In particular, this heterogeneous catalyst could be recovered easily and reused repeatedly up to nine times without obviously affecting its enantioselectivity, thus showing good potential for industrial applications.  相似文献

We report a unique strategy to obtain the bifunctional heterogeneous catalyst TBB‐Bpy@Salen‐Co (TBB=1,2,4,5‐tetrakis(bromomethyl)benzene, Bpy=4,4’‐bipyridine, Salen‐Co=N,N’‐bis({4‐dimethylamino}salicylidene)ethylenediamino cobalt(III) acetate) by combining a cross‐linked ionic polymer with a CoIII–salen Schiff base. The catalyst showed extra high activity for CO2 fixation under mild, solvent‐free reaction conditions with no requirement for a co‐catalyst. The synthesized catalyst possessed distinctive spherical structural features, abundant halogen Br? anions with good leaving group ability, and accessible Lewis acidic Co metal centers. These unique features, together with the synergistic role of the Co and Br? functional sites, allowed TBB‐Bpy@Salen‐Co to exhibit enhanced catalytic conversion of CO2 into cyclic carbonates relative to the corresponding monofunctional analogues. This catalyst can be easily recovered and recycled five times without significant leaching of Co or loss of activity. Moreover, based on our experimental results and previous work, a synergistic cycloaddition reaction mechanism was proposed.  相似文献

New aromatic poly(ether ketone amide)s containing 4‐aryl‐2,6‐diphenylpyridine units were prepared by the heterogeneous palladium‐catalyzed carbonylative polymerization of aromatic diiodides with ether ketone units, aromatic diamines bearing pyridine groups, and carbon monoxide. Polymerizations were performed in N,N‐dimethyl‐ acetamide (DMAc) at 120°C in the presence of a magnetic nanoparticles‐supported bidentate phosphine palladium complex [Fe3O4@SiO2‐2P‐PdCl2] as catalyst with 1,8‐diazabicycle[5,4,0]‐7‐undecene (DBU) as base and generated poly(ether ketone amide)s with inherent viscosities up to 0.79 dL/g. All the polymers were soluble in many organic solvents. These polymers showed glass transition temperatures between 219°C and 257°C and 10% weight loss temperatures ranging from 467°C to 508°C in nitrogen. These polyamides could be cast into transparent, flexible, and strong films from DMAc solution with tensile strengths of 86.4 to 113.7 MPa, tensile moduli of 2.34 to 3.19 GPa, and elongations at break of 5.2% to 6.9%. These polymers also exhibited good optical transparency with an ultraviolet‐visible absorption cut‐off wavelength in the 371 to 384‐nm range. Importantly, the new heterogeneous palladium catalyst can easily be recovered from the reaction mixture by simply applying an external magnet and recycled at least 8 times without significant loss of activity. Our catalytic system not only avoids the use of an excess of PPh3 and prevents the formation of palladium black, but also solves the basic problems of palladium catalyst recovery and reuse.  相似文献

A novel palladium(II) carboxymethylcellulose (CMC‐PdII) was prepared by direct metathesis from sodium carboxymethylcellulose and PdCl2 in aqueous solution. Its catalytic activities were explored for Heck–Matsuda reactions of aryldiazonium tetrafluoroborate with olefins, and Suzuki–Miyaura couplings of aryldiazonium tetrafluoroborate with arylboronic acid. Both reactions proceeded at room temperature in water or aqueous ethanol media without the presence of any ligand or base, to provide the corresponding cross‐coupling products in good to excellent yields under atmospheric conditions. The CMC‐PdII and carboxymethylcellulose‐supported palladium nanoparticles (CMC‐Pd0) formed in situ in the reactions were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, and scanning and transmission electron microscopies. The homogeneous nature of the CMC‐Pd0 catalyst was confirmed via Hg(0) and CS2 poisoning tests. Moreover, the CMC‐Pd0 catalyst could be conveniently recovered by simple filtration and reused for at least ten cycles in Suzuki–Miyaura reactions without apparently losing its catalytic activity. The catalytic system not only overcomes the basic drawbacks of homogeneous catalyst recovery and reuse but also avoids the need to fabricate palladium nanoparticles in advance. A hybrid material of palladium supported on diaminoglyoxime‐functionalized Fe3O4 was used as an effective and recyclable catalyst in Mizoroki–Heck coupling reactions. The catalyst was very effective for the Mizoroki–Heck reaction of aryl halides with styrene and conversion was in most cases excellent. The yields of the products were in the range 75–98%. The catalyst showed good stability and could be recovered and reused for six reaction cycles without significant leaching and loss its catalytic activity. A green palladium‐based catalyst supported on Artemisia abrotanum extract‐modified graphene oxide (Pd NPs/RGO‐A. abrotanum) hybrid material has been used as a recoverable and heterogeneous nanocatalyst for the catalytic reduction of various dyes, including methylene blue, methyl orange and rhodamine B, in the presence of NaBH4 as reducing agent in aqueous medium at room temperature. With the help of UV–visible spectroscopy, the catalytic reactions were investigated. According to the results, these reactions followed the pseudo‐first‐order rate equation.  相似文献
