EXACT SOLUTIONS OF SOME FIFTH——ORDER NONLINEAR EQUATIONS

Abstract. To solve the nonlinear partial differential equations is changed into solving some alge-braic equations by using the function U to be expressed as linear independent functions. Thenew soliton and periodic solutions of some fifth-order nonlinear partial differential equations areobtained.     

THE NUMBER OF NONTRIVIAL SOLUTIONS TO HAMMERSTEIN NONLINEAR INTEGRAL EQUATIONS

In this paper,the author improves some results of Rabinowitz about the existence ofinfinitely many nontrivial solutions to Hammerstein nonlinear integral equations andgives some applications to the two-point boundary value problems for nonlinear ordinarydifferential equations.     

OSCILLATION FOR NONLINEAR SECOND-ORDER DYNAMIC EQUATIONS ON TIME SCALES

Through the use of generalized Riccati transformation techniques, we establish some oscillation criteria for one type of nonlinear dynamic equation on time scales. Several examples, including a semilinear dynamic equation and a nonlinear Emden-Fowler dynamic equation, are also given to illustrate these criteria and to improve the results obtained in some references.     

PERMANENCE AND GLOBAL STABILITY TO A NONAUTONOMOUS NONLINEAR DISCRETE SINGLE SPECIES SYSTEM

In this paper,we study some permanence and global stability to a nonau- tonomous nonlinear discrete single species system,and obtain some sufficient condition of global stability to the system.     

A CLASS OF SINGULAR FOURTH-ORDER THREE-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS

This paper studies the existence of nontrivial solution to a nonlinear fourthorder three-point boundary value problem, where the nonlinear term is a strong Carathodory function and contains all order derivatives of unknown function. By introducing a height function of nonlinear term on some bounded set and considering the integration of the height function, some existence results are obtained.     

Solitary Wave Solutions of Some Nonlinear Physical Models Using Riccati Equation Approach

Riccati equation approach is used to look for exact travelling wave solutions of some nonlinear physical models.Solitary wave solutions are established for the modified KdV equation,the Boussinesq equation and the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation.New generalized solitary wave solutions with some free parameters are derived.The obtained solutions,which includes some previously known solitary wave solutions and some new ones,are expressed by a composition of Riccati differential equation solutions followed by a polynomial.The employed approach,which is straightforward and concise,is expected to be further employed in obtaining new solitary wave solutions for nonlinear physical problems.     

A Reaction-diffusion system with nonlinear absorption terms and boundary flux

This paper deals with a reaction-diffusion system with nonlinear absorption terms and boundary flux. As results of interactions among the six nonlinear terms in the system, some sufficient conditions on global existence and finite time blow-up of the solutions are described via all the six nonlinear exponents appearing in the six nonlinear terms. In addition, we also show the influence of the coefficients of the absorption terms as well as the geometry of the domain to the global existence and finite time blow-up of the solutions for some cases. At last, some numerical results are given.     

The Asymptotic Behavior of the Stochastic Nonlinear Schrdinger Equation With Multiplicative Noise

The nonlinear Schrdinger equation is one of the basic models for nonlinear waves.In some circumstances,randomness has to be taken into account and it often occurs through a random potential.Here,we consider the following equation     

GENERAL DECAY FOR A QUASILINEAR SYSTEM OF VISCOELASTIC EQUATIONS WITH NONLINEAR DAMPING

In this paper, we consider a system of coupled quasilinear viscoelastic equations with nonlinear damping. We use the perturbed energy method to show the general decay rate estimates of energy of solutions, which extends some existing results concerning a general decay for a single equation to the case of system, and a nonlinear system of viscoelastic wave equations to a quasilinear system.     

Regularity for minimizing sequences of some variational integrals

This paper deals with regularity properties for minimizing sequences of some integral functionals related to the nonlinear elasticity theory. Under some structural conditions, we derive that the minimizing sequence and the derivatives of the sequences have some regularity properties by using the Ekeland variational principle.     

Extended tanh-function Metho d for Solving Traveling Wave Solutions of Nonlinear Kundu Equation

In this paper, by using the balancing method and the extended tanh-function method, we obtain the exact traveling wave solutions of Kundu equation with fifth-order nonlinear term. Applications of this method to some other nonlinear partial differential equations are also presented.

We prove some new retarded nonlinear integral inequality and present its applications to the global existence of differential equations with delay.     

ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF HIGHER ORDER NONLINEAR INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH DEVIATING ARGUMENTS

In this paper, we study a class of higher order nonlinear integro-diferential equations with deviating arguments. With the aid of the integral inequality, we obtain some sufcient conditions under which all solutions to the equation have some asymptotic behavior.     

A New Kind of Iteration Method for Finding Approximate Periodic Solutions to Ordinary Differential Equations

In this paper, a new kind of iteration technique for solving nonlinear ordinary differential equations is described and used to give approximate periodic solutions for some well-known nonlinear problems. The most interesting features of the proposed methods are its extreme simplicity and concise forms of iteration formula for a wide range of nonlinear problems.

Abstract. A modified Bates and Watts geometric framework is proposed for quasi-likelihoodnonlinear models in Euclidean inner product space. Based on the modified geometric framework,some asymptotic inference in terms of curvatures for quasi-likelihood nonlinear models is stud-ied. Several previous results for nonlinear regression models and exponential family nonlinearmodels etc. are extended to quasi-likelihood nonlinear models.     

EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF ANTI-PERIODIC SOLUTIONS TO AN nTH-ORDER NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION WITH MULTIPLE DEVIATING ARGUMENTS

In this paper,we use the Leray-Schauder degree theory to establish some new results on the existence and uniqueness of anti-periodic solutions to an nth-order nonlinear differential equation with multiple deviating arguments.

Using perturbation results on the sums of ranges of nonlinear accretive mappings of Calvert and Gupta, we present some abstract results for the existence of the solutions of nonlinear Neumann elliptic systems which is related to the so-called generalized （p, q）-Laplacian in this paper. The systems discussed in this paper and the method used extend and complement some of the previous work.

The paper studies a class of nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations on a compact Riemannian manifold (M,g) with some curvature restriction.The authors try to prove some uniqueness and nonexistent results for the positive solutions of the equations concerned.     

ELASTIC MEMBRANE EQUATION WITH MEMORY TERM AND NONLINEAR BOUNDARY DAMPING:GLOBAL EXISTENCE,DECAY AND BLOWUP OF THE SOLUTION

In this paper we consider the Elastic membrane equation with memory term and nonlinear boundary damping.Under some appropriate assumptions on the relaxation function h and with certain initial data,the global existence of solutions and a general decay for the energy are established using the multiplier technique.Also,we show that a nonlinear source of polynomial type is able to force solutions to blow up in finite time even in presence of a nonlinear damping.
