The reactions π+ p→π+(K + K ? π+ π? p andpp→p(K + K ? π+ π?)p where the (K + K ? π+ π?) system is centrally produced have been studied at 85 GeV/c. 48% of the final state proceeds through single or double vector meson resonant production i.e.,K *0(890) (37%), ? (4%),ρ 0 (7%). Evidence is found for associatedK *0 (890) \(\bar K\) *o (890) production (6.4±1.1%) with a cross section ten times higher than that found for associated ? ? production in the same experiment. 相似文献

Based on the two nucleon pion absorption mechanism, the reaction (π+d) is studied. The formula of the differential cross section for (π+d) reaction is obtained for S-wave πN interaction. A calculation is also performed for 12C(π+d)10C(0+,2+) at the incident energy of 49.3MeV by using the plane wave approximation. The results indicate that the effect of the D-wave component in the deutron wave function is quite important. The antisymmetric space structure of the neutron pair participated in the process is as the important as symmetric one. 相似文献

It is interesting to study the characteristics of the whole family of B c which contains two different heavy flavors.LHC and the proposed Z 0 factory provide an opportunity because a large database of the B c family will be achieved.B c and its excited states can be identified via their decay modes. As suggested by experimentalists,B-c (ns) → B c +γ is not easy to be clearly measured, instead, the trajectories of π + and π- occurring in the decay of B c (ns) → B c (ms) + π + π( n m ) can be unambiguously identified, thus the measurement seems easier and more reliable;therefore this mode is more favorable at the early running stage of LHCb and the proposed Z 0 factory. In this work,we calculate the rate of B c (ns) → B c (ms) + π + π-in terms of the QCD multipole-expansion and the numerical results indicate that the experimental measurements with the luminosity of LHC and Z 0 factory are feasible. 相似文献

The reaction γp → pπ 0γ′ has been measured with the Crystal Ball/TAPS detectors using the energy-tagged photon beam at the electron accelerator facility MAMI-B. Energy and angular differential cross-sections for the emitted photon γ′ and angular differential cross-sections for the π0 have been determined with high statistics in the energy range of the Δ+ (1232)-resonance. Cross-sections and the ratio of the cross-section to the nonradiative process γp → pπ 0 are compared to theoretical reaction models, having the anomalous magnetic moment κ Δ as free parameter. As the shape of the experimental distributions is not reproduced in detail by the model calculations, currently no extraction of κ Δ is feasible. 相似文献

The isospin-violating decay f
1(1285) → π+π-π0 has been studied at the VES facility. This study is based on the statistics acquired in π-
Be interactions at 27, 36.6 and 41 GeV/c in the diffractive reaction π-
N → (f
1π-)N . The f
1(1285) → π+π-π0 decay is observed. The preliminary ratio of decay probabilities BR(f
1(1285) → π+π-π0) to BR(f

A new rotational band has been identified and assigned to 188Au for the first time using the 173Yb(19F,4nγ) reaction at the beam energies of 86 and 90 MeV. This band is proposed to be built on the πh9/2 νi13/2 configuration by comparing the band properties with known bands in neighboring nuclei. The prolate-to-oblate shape transition through triaxial shape has been proposed to occur around 188Au for the πh9/2 νi13/2 bands in odd-odd Au isotopes on the basis of total Routhian surface (TRS) calculations. 相似文献

We calculate the processes \(D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + s\bar s\) and D s + → π+resonance, respectively, in the spectator and W-annihilation mechanisms. The data on the reaction D s + → π+ρ0, which is due to the W-annihilation mechanism only, point to a negligibly small contribution of the W annihilation to the production of scalar-isoscalar resonances D s + ?π+f0. As to spectator mechanism, we evaluate the \(1^3 P_0 s\bar s\) component in the resonances f0(980), f0(1300), and f0(1500) and broad state f0(1200–1600) on the basis of data on the decay ratios D s + ?π+f0/(D s + ?π+θ). The data point to a large \(s\bar s\) component in the \(f_0 (980):40 \lesssim s\bar s \lesssim 70\% \). Nearly 30% of the \(1^3 P_0 s\bar s\) component flows to the mass region 1300–1500 MeV, being shared by f0(1300), f0(1500), and broad state f0(1200–1600): the interference of these states results in a peak near 1400 MeV with the width around 200 MeV. Our calculations show that the yield of the radial-excitation state\(2^3 P_0 s\bar s\)is relatively suppressed, \({{\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (2^3 P_0 s\bar s))} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (2^3 P_0 s\bar s))} {\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (1^3 P_0 s\bar s))}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (1^3 P_0 s\bar s))}} \lesssim 0.05\). 相似文献

We analyze the extraction of weak phases from CP-violation in B → π+π- decays. We propose to determine the unitarity triangle
by combining the information on mixing-induced CP-violation in B → π+π-, S, with the precision observable sin2β obtained from the CP-asymmetry in B → ψKS. It is then possible to write down exact analytical expressions for
and
as simple functions of the observables S and sin2β and of the penguin parameters r and ϕ. As an application clean lower bounds on
and
can be derived as functions of S and sin2β, essentially without hadronic uncertainty. Computing r and ϕ within QCD factorization yields precise determinations of
and
since the dependence on r and ϕ is rather weak. It is emphasized that the sensitivity to the phase ϕ enters only at second order and is extremely small
for moderate values of this phase, predicted in the heavy-quark limit. Transparent analytical formulas are further given and
discussed for the parameter C of direct CP-violation in B → π+π-. Predictions and uncertainties for r and ϕ in QCD factorization are examined in detail. It is pointed out that a simultaneous expansion in 1/mb and 1/N leads to interesting simplifications. At first order infrared divergences are absent, while the most important effects are
retained. Independent experimental tests of the factorization framework are briefly discussed.

The isospin symmetry-breaking (ISB) decay f 1(1285) → π+π?π0 has been studied at the VES facility. The branching ratio is measured: $\frac{{BR\left( {f_1 \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \pi ^0 } \right)}} {{BR\left( {f_1 \to \eta \pi ^ + \pi ^ - } \right)}} = 0.86 \pm 0.16_{ - 0.20}^{ + 0.70} \%Low-energy resonances in 31P(p, α 28Si and 35Cl(p, α)32S were studied directly in order to gain a better understanding of reaction cycling in the Si-Ar region in novae. New resonance strengths at E c.m. = 600 and 622 keV in 31P(p, α)28Si were measured (ωγ p, α = (2.2#x00B1;0.7) × 10?2 eV and ωγ p, α = (0.99±0.08) eV, respectively) as well as the E c.m. = 610 keV resonance in 35Cl(p, α)32S [ωγ p, α = (1.2±0.2) × 10?2 eV], the lowest energy that any resonance in this reaction has been observed, directly or indirectly. The strengths of these resonances were found to be lower than previously determined, resulting in even weaker cycling in the Si-Ar region. 相似文献

Within the minimal SU(3)C ? SU(3)L ? U(1)N model, the lepton-flavor-violating decay π+→μ?νμ e + e + is calculated without directly invoking lepton mixing. The branching ratio for this rare pion-decay mode is found to be much smaller than the current experimental upper limit. If the anomalous interactions are discarded, this result coincides with the result of the previous calculation. 相似文献

A search is performed for the lepton number violating decay B+ → h- μ+ μ+, where h- represents a K- or a π-, using an integrated luminosity of 36 pb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector. The decay is forbidden in the standard model but allowed in models with a Majorana neutrino. No signal is observed in either channel and limits of B(B+ → K- μ+ μ+) < 5.4×10(-8) and B(B+ → π- μ+ μ+) < 5.8×10(-8) are set at the 95% confidence level. These improve the previous best limits by factors of 40 and 30, respectively. 相似文献

We report the first observation of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decays D(+)→K(+)η((')) using a 791 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The ratio of the branching fractions of doubly Cabibbo-suppressed relative to singly Cabibbo-suppressed D(+)→π(+)η((')) decays are B(D(+)→K(+)η)/B(D(+)→π(+)η)=(3.06±0.43±0.14)% and B(D(+)→K(+)η')/B(D(+)→π(+)η')=(3.77±0.39±0.10)%. From these, we find that the relative final-state phase difference between the tree and annihilation amplitudes in D(+) decays, δ(TA), is (72±9)° or (288±9)°. We also report the most precise measurements of CP asymmetries to date: A(CP)(D(+)→π(+)η)=(+1.74±1.13±0.19)% and A(CP)(D(+)→π(+)η')=(-0.12±1.12±0.17)%. 相似文献

Using the isospin- and momentum-dependent hadronic transport model IBUU04, the effects of symmetry energy on the π^-/π^+ ratio are studied. Our investigations are based on the calculations of the ^132 Sn+^124Sn semi-central collisions at beam energies of 400/AMeV, 600/A MeV and 800/A MeV. It is found that both the transverse momentum and kinetic energy distributions of the π^-/π^+ ratio are rather sensitive to the symmetry energy, especially around the Coulomb peaks. The position of the Coulomb peak is shown to be nearly independent of beam energy. The sensitivity of the π^-/π^+ ratio to the symmetry energy decreases as the beam energy increases from 600/A MeV to 800/A MeV. 相似文献
