利用C60与乙二胺改性的普通玻璃表面进行加成反应,得到一种新的C60自组装单层膜;在自组装单层膜的基础上,利用C60与乙二胺反应形成自组装双层膜.通过X光电子能谱、激光解吸电离飞行时间质谱等手段证实在乙二胺改性的普通玻璃表面上存在通过化学键合的C60自组装单层和双层膜.并对其光致发光性质进行了初步研究,发现在680nm附近存在一个与C60不同的宽的光致发光峰  相似文献

A TAT peptide was used to functionalize a gold surface by three different methods: adsorption from solution, microcontact printing, and dip-pen nanolithography (DPN). The composition and structure of the modified gold was characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and Fourier transform -infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (FT-IRRAS). We used two well-studied alkylthiols, mercaptohexadecanoic acid and 1-octadecanethiol, as a comparison in order to understand the structure of the TAT peptide monolayers prepared by the three methods. AFM studies allowed us to assess the homogeneity after each modification protocol. XPS was used to characterize the chemical composition of the gold surface after each functionalization procedure. The XPS results showed that surfaces modified with the TAT peptide by the three methods exhibit similar surface chemistry. Finally, FT-IRRAS experiments allowed us to conclude that the structure of the alkyl chains of the TAT peptides is fairly disordered and different after each procedure. Regardless of the type of surface functionalization method used, the monolayer of TAT peptide formed on the surface was of "liquidlike" nature.  相似文献

We have characterized self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of thiol-derivatized peptide nucleic acid (PNA) chains adsorbed on gold surfaces by using reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy (RAIRS) and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) techniques. We have found that the molecular orientation of PNAs strongly depends on surface coverage. At low coverage, PNA chains lie flat on the surface, while at high coverage, PNA molecules realign their molecular axes with the surface normal and form SAMs without the need of co-immobilization of spacers or other adjuvant molecules. The change in the molecular orientation has been studied by infrared spectroscopy and it has been confirmed by atomic force microscopy (AFM). PNA immobilization has been followed by analyzing the N(1s) XPS core-level peak. We show that the fine line shape of the N(1s) core-level peak at optimal concentration for biosensing is due to a chemical shift. A combination of the above-mentioned techniques allow us to affirm that the structure of the SAMs is stabilized by molecule-molecule interactions through noncomplementary adjacent nucleic bases.  相似文献

The well-defined structure and high stability of peptides make them attractive biotemplates for low-temperature synthesis of semiconductor nanocrystals. Adsorbed peptide monolayers could also potentially passivate semiconductors by preventing regrowth of the oxide layer. In this work, the adsorption and passivation capabilities of different collagen-binding peptides on InAs surfaces were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Before peptide functionalization, Br(2)- and HCl-based etches were used to remove the native oxide layer on the InAs surfaces. The presence of the N 1s peak for peptide-functionalized samples confirms the adsorption of peptides onto the etched InAs surfaces. Calculated coverages were similar for all peptide sequences and ranged from ~20 to 40% of a monolayer using the deconvoluted C 1s spectra and from ~2 to 5% for the N 1s spectra. The passivation ability of the peptides was analyzed by comparing the ratios of the oxide components to the nonoxide components in the XPS spectra. The thickness of the oxide layer was also approximated by accounting for the attenuation of the substrate photoelectrons through the oxide layer. We find that the oxide layer regrowth still occurs after peptide functionalization. However, the oxide layer thicknesses for peptide-functionalized samples do not reach as received levels, indicating that the peptides do have some passivation ability on InAs.  相似文献

FTIR and Raman spectroscopies have been used to characterize the structure and conformational order of dimethylchlorooctadecylsilane (DOS) covalently bonded to ultrathin silica films supported on Ag substrates. Ultrathin silica films of ca. 30 A thickness prepared from sol-gel methods are immobilized on Ag surfaces modified with a self-assembled monolayer of (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane (3MPT). This layered structure provides a unique opportunity for acquiring complementary spectral data from both FTIR and Raman spectroscopies, which are useful in elucidating alkylsilane conformation pertaining to stationary phases for reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC). Characterization of octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) layers on thin silica films of ca. 800 A thickness on 3MPT-modified Ag surfaces has been reported previously. Differences between the ultrathin silica films used in this study and the thin silica films used in this previous study are considered. The results from both FTIR and Raman spectroscopy presented here suggest that bonded DOS alkyl chains are in a disordered, liquid-like state with close to monolayer surface coverage.  相似文献

Four TAT peptide fragments were used to functionalize GaAs surfaces by adsorption from solution. In addition, two well-studied alkylthiols, mercaptohexadecanoic acid (MHA) and 1-octadecanethiol (ODT) were utilized as references to understand the structure of the TAT peptide monolayer on GaAs. The different sequences of TAT peptides were employed in recognition experiments where a synthetic RNA sequence was tested to verify the specific interaction with the TAT peptide. The modified GaAs surfaces were characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and Fourier transform infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (FT-IRRAS). AFM studies were used to compare the surface roughness before and after functionalization. XPS allowed us to characterize the chemical composition of the GaAs surface and conclude that the monolayers composed of different sequences of peptides have similar surface chemistries. Finally, FT-IRRAS experiments enabled us to deduce that the TAT peptide monolayers have a fairly ordered and densely packed alkyl chain structure. The recognition experiments showed preferred interaction of the RNA sequence toward peptides with high arginine content.  相似文献

采用强流脉冲离子束(High-intensitypulsedionbeam,HIPIB)烧蚀技术在Si(100)基体上沉积类金刚石(Diamond-likecarbon,DLC)薄膜,衬底温度的变化范围为298~673K.利用Raman光谱和X射线光电子谱(XPS)对DLC薄膜的化学结合状态与衬底温度之间关系进行研究.薄膜XPS的C1s谱的解谱分析得出薄膜中含有sp3C(结合能为285.5eV)和sp2C(结合能为284.7eV)成分,根据解谱结果评价薄膜中sp3C含量.根据XPS分析可知,衬底温度低于473K时,sp3C的含量大约为40%左右;随着沉积薄膜时衬底温度的提高,sp3C的含量降低,由298K时的42.5%降到673K时的8.1%,从573K开始发生sp3C向sp2C转变.Raman光谱表明,随着衬底温度的提高,Raman谱中G峰的峰位靠近石墨峰位,G峰的半峰宽降低,D峰与G峰的强度比ID/IG增大,说明薄膜中的sp3C的含量随衬底温度增加而减少.  相似文献

The surface coverage of phosphorylated oligonucleotides immobilized on a zirconium-phosphonate surface was analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). By quantifying the intensity of the N 1s signal originating from the oligonucleotide and the Zr 3d peak from the metal-phosphonate surface, the surface coverage of the oligonucleotide could be calculated with a modified substrate-overlayer model. We found relatively low surface coverages indicating that once covalently bound via the terminal phosphate the polymer chain further physisorbs to the surface limiting the adsorption of additional molecules.  相似文献

采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了Zr0.5Ti0.5O2固溶体薄膜,通过X-射线衍射分析(XRD)、扫描电镜分析(SEM)、紫外吸收光谱(UV-Vis)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)等方式对材料进行了表征。结果表明实验制得的材料Zr:Ti=1:1,薄膜表面平整、致密、光滑,皲裂情况较单纯的TiO2和ZrO2薄膜有明显改进;另外由于Zr的掺入,薄膜在紫外光波段有良好的吸收,吸收边较TiO2薄膜有明显的蓝移。通过标准的光刻剥离技术和磁控溅射技术在Zr0.5Ti0.5O2纳米薄膜上制作了叉指型的金属电极。在5V偏压下,样品对可见光不吸收,对260 nm的紫外光有明显的光电响应,光电流与暗电流之比近3个数量级。  相似文献

用溶胶-凝胶方法在普通玻璃基体上制备了均匀透明的TiO_2纳米薄膜,并经 500℃煅烧2h,煅烧后的TiO_2薄膜在2 mol·L~(-1)的CH_3COOH水溶液中处理24h, 最后分别在100和500℃进行第二次热处理,醋酸处理前后的薄膜分别用UV-vis, SEM, XRD和XPS进行了表征,并用甲基橙水溶液的光催化降解评价TiO_2纳米薄膜 的光催化性能,结果发现:用醋酸处理后的TiO_2纳米薄膜的光催化活性高于处理 前薄膜的的光催化活性;而且,酸处理后经500℃热处理的TiO_2纳米薄膜的光催化 活性明显高于经100℃热处理的TiO_2纳米薄膜的光催化活性。  相似文献

通过PPh~3对“非保护型”铂金属纳米簇进行表面修饰,并将其萃取至甲苯中,制备的PPh~3修饰的Pt金属钠米簇于空气中可自发地在玻璃表面生长出均匀透光的金属钠米簇薄膜。该金属钠米簇薄膜经空气中加热处理后可转化为透光导电的氧化铂半导体薄膜。考察了金属钠米簇薄膜生长过程中UV-vis吸收光谱的变化。采用SEM和TEM等方法,表征了纳米簇的粒径及膜的多孔结构,由此解释了其透光原因。研究了薄膜的导电性与处理条件的关系,并采用XPS表征了处理过程中的物质变化。初步探索了PPh~3-Pt纳米簇自发成膜过程的机理,确定了氧气在此过程中的重要作用。  相似文献

In this study, we use dipping and spinning methods to coat glass slides with sol-gel ZnO thin films, composed of zinc acetate dihydrate, monoethanolamine (MEA), de-ionized water and isopropanol. The effect of the annealing temperature on the structural morphology and optical properties of these films is investigated. These ZnO films were preheated at 275 °C for 10 min and annealed either at 350, 450 or 550 °C for 60 min. As-deposited films, formed by amorphous zinc oxide-acetate submicron particles, are transformed into a highly-oriented ZnO after thermal treatment. The surface morphology, phase structure and optical properties of the thin films were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical transmittance. Both techniques produced nanostructured ZnO thin films with well-defined orientation. The annealed films were transparent in the visible range with an absorption edge at about 375 nm and a transmittance of ca 85–90% with an average diameter of 40 nm. XRD results show the film was composed of polycrystalline wurtzite, with a preferential c-axis orientation of (002) and a single sharp XRD peak at 34.40, corresponding to the hexagonal ZnO. The grain size is increased by the annealing temperature. Both coating techniques create sol-gel ZnO films with the potential for application as transparent electrodes in optic and electronic devices.  相似文献

The initial steps in the formation of thin films have been investigated by analysis of the peak shape (both inelastic background and elastic contributions) of X‐ray photoelectron spectra. Surface coverage and averaged height of the deposited particles have been estimated for several overlayers (nanometre range) after successive deposition cycles. This study has permitted the assessment of the type of nucleation and growth mechanisms of the films. The experiments have been carried out in situ in the preparation chamber of an XPS spectrometer. To check the performance of the method, several materials (i.e. cerium oxide, vanadium oxide and cadmium sulfide) have been deposited on different substrates using a variety of preparation procedures (i.e. thermal evaporation, ion beam assisted deposition and plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition). It is shown that the first deposited nuclei of the films are usually formed by three‐dimensional particles whose heights and degree of surface coverage depend on the chemical characteristics of the growing thin film and substrate materials, as well as the deposition procedure. It is concluded that XPS peak shape analysis can be satisfactorily used as a general method to characterize morphologically the first nanometric moieties that nucleate a thin film. A modified aqueous sol-gel route was developed using ultrasonic power for the silica coating of indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles. In this approach, organosilane with an amino functional group was first used to cover the surface of as-received nanoparticles. Subsequent silica coating was initiated and sustained under power ultrasound irradiation in an aqueous mixture of surface-treated particles and epoxy silane. This process resulted in a thin but homogeneous coverage of silica on the particle surface. Particles coated with a layer of silica show better dispersability in aqueous and organic media compared with the untreated powder. Samples were characterized by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and the zeta potential.  相似文献

Ag-TiO2 thin films were prepared with a sol-gel route, using titanium isopropoxide and silver nitrate as precursors, at 0.03 and 0.06 Ag/Ti nominal atomic ratios. After drying at 80°C, the films were fired at 300°C and 500°C for 30 min. The films were analysed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) with glancing angle, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), with depth profiling of the concentration. XPS analysis showed the presence of C and N as impurities in the nanocomposite films. Their concentration decreased with increasing the firing temperature. Chemical state analysis showed that Ag was present in metallic state, except for the very outer layer where it was present as Ag+. For the films prepared with a Ag/Ti concentration of 0.06, depth profiling measurements of the film fired at 300°C showed a strong Ag enrichment at the outer surface, while composition remained almost constant within the rest of the film, at 0.019. For the films heated to 500°C, two layers were found, where the Ag/Ti ratios were 0.015 near the surface and 0.026 near the substrate.  相似文献

This study deals with the quantitative assessment of the coverage and thickness of Ni silicide films formed during annealing of SiC substrates with sputtered thin films of Ni. The analytical approach involves the use of XPS and depth profiling by means of successive ion etchings and XPS analyses. For either 3 or 6 nm initial Ni film thickness, a 10 nm Ni2Si product is formed. On top of this product, the C released is accumulated in a very thin (1–2 nm) film. In neither case, the Ni2Si covers the whole surface, although the coverage is almost complete (~90%) in the latter case. For the greater initial Ni‐film thickness of 17 nm, the thickness of the Ni2Si product corresponds well to the value of 25 nm expected from the Ni/Ni2Si stoichiometric relationship. This thickness is significantly greater than a critical level and the film covers the whole surface. Carbon is similarly accumulated in a very thin layer on the top surface, although the major part of C (~70%) is found inside the main reaction product layer. In this work, we provide a detailed study of the influence of thermal annealing on submonolayer Au nanoparticle deposited on functionalized surfaces as standalone films and those that are coated with sol-gel NiO and TiO(2) thin films. The systems are characterized through the use of UV-vis absorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and spectroscopic ellipsometry. The surface plasmon resonance peak of the Au nanoparticles was found to red-shift and increase in intensity with increasing surface coverage, an observation that is directly correlated to the complex refractive index properties of Au nanoparticle layers. The standalone Au nanoparticles sinter at 200 °C, and a relationship between the optical properties and the annealing temperature is presented. When overcoated with sol-gel metal oxide films (NiO, TiO(2)), the optical properties of the Au nanoparticles are strongly affected by the metal oxide, resulting in an intense red shift and broadening of the plasmon band; moreover, the temperature-driven sintering is strongly limited by the metal oxide layer. Optical sensing tests for ethanol vapor are presented as one possible application, showing reversible sensing dynamics and confirming the effect of Au nanoparticles in increasing the sensitivity and in providing a wavelength dependent response, thus confirming the potential use of such materials as optical probes.  相似文献
