Four new oligosaccharides (1–4), one new pregnane glycoside (5), and one new cardiac glycoside (6) were isolated from the roots of Periploca forrestii Schltr. (Asclepiadaceae), a traditional Chinese medicine used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and wounds. A preparative separation method using macroporous absorptive resin coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography was developed for the separation of six fractions of the 80% ethanol extract of Periploca forrestii Schltr. The six ethanol fractions (5–95; A, B, C, D, E, and F) obtained were carefully analyzed to locate the corresponding peaks in the high‐performance liquid chromatography chromatogram of the total extract, which was established in a previous study. Furthermore, the biological activities, including antioxidant activities, acetyl cholinesterase inhibitory capacities, antihyaluronidase activities, and anti‐inflammatory effects, were evaluated in MH7A cells. The results demonstrated that fraction E could significantly prevent oxidation and inhibit hyaluronidase and acetyl cholinesterase. Finally, the main flavonoids in fractions A and E from P. forrestii Schltr. were purified, and the compounds were identified as chlorogenic acid, quercetin‐3‐O‐α‐L‐arabinopyranoside, and quercetin‐7‐O‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside. The chemical structures were confirmed by mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Furthermore, the inhibitory effects of these compounds against complete Freund's adjuvant‐induced secondary immune arthritis in rats were evaluated.  相似文献

Two new steroidal glycosides 1 and 2, along with three known ones (35), were isolated from the 95% ethanol extract of the roots of Cynanchum limprichtii Schltr. The structure of the new compounds was elucidated as 3-O-α-L-diginopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-digitoxopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-cymaropyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-thevetopyranosyl-14, 16:15, 20:18, 20-triepoxy-14, 15-secopregn-4, 6, 8 (14)-triene (1) and 3-O-α-L-cymaropyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-digitoxopyranosyl- (1→4)-β-D-3-demethyl-2-deoxythevetopyranosyl-14, 16: 15, 20: 8, 20-triepoxy-14, 15-secopregn-5, 8 (14)-diene (2) on the basis of spectroscopic analysis together with acidic hydrolysis. All compounds showed cytotoxic activity against the human cancer cell line HL60, with IC50 values of 55.36, 65.41, 17.88, 17.68 and 33.5 μM, respectively. While, only compound 3 showed cytotoxicity against the Caco-2 cell line, with an IC50 value of 67.47 μM.  相似文献

Rhodiola rosea L. (Golden Root) has been used for a long time as an adaptogen in Chinese traditional medicine and is reported to have many pharmacological properties. Along its known secondary metabolites tyrosol (1), salidroside (rhodioloside) (2), rosin (3), rosarin (4), rosavin (5), sachaliside 1 (6) and 4-methoxy-cinnamyl-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (7), four compounds were isolated from aqueous methanol extract of the plant and identified as cinnamyl-(6'-O-beta-xylopyranosyl)-O-beta-glucopyranoside (8), 4-methoxy-cinnamyl-(6'-O-alpha-arabinopyranosyl)-O-beta-glucopyranoside (9), picein (10) and benzyl-O-beta-glucopyranoside (11) by UV, MS and NMR methods. Compounds 8 and 9 are new natural compounds whereas compounds 10 and 11 were isolated first time from R. rosea. Also the compounds 6 and 7 are isolated earlier only from the callus cultures of the plant but not from the differentiated plant.  相似文献

Two new compounds, 7'-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl)-N-[(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]propenamide (4), and 7'-(4'-hydroxy,3'-methoxyphenyl)-N-[(4-butylphenyl)ethyl]propenamide (5) have been isolated from Cuscuta reflexa along with five known compounds, 6,7-dimethoxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one (1), 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-propen-1-ethanoate (2), 6,7,8-trimethoxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one (3), 3-(4-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-2-propen-1-ol (6), 2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy-7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside-4H-1-benzopyrane-4-one (7), reported for the first time from this species. Structures of these compounds were determined by spectral analysis. These compounds showed strong inhibitory activity against alpha-glucosidase.  相似文献

提出了球形主体分子的设计思想,把具有球形结构的分子柏木醇(1)、马钱子碱(2)、三乙烯二胺(1,4-二氮-二环[2.2.2]辛烷(3)作为主体分子,把酚类化合物,诸如苯酚(4)、邻甲苯酚(5)、间甲苯酚(6)、对甲苯酚(7)、对氯苯酚(8)和对硝基苯酚(11)等作为客体分子,进行了主客体分子相素作用实验,采用粉末X射线衍射、1^HNMR等分析手段确认了包结化合物的形成及主客体分子的摩尔比,摩尔比(H/G)分别为(1)+(4)1:1,(1)+(5)1:1,(1)+(6)1:1,(1)+(7)1:1,(1)+(11)1:2,(2)+(11)1:1,(3)+(4)1:2,(3)+(5)1:3,(3)+(6)1:2,(3)+(7)1:2,(3)+(8)1:2,(3)+(11)1:2,对典型包结化合物的单晶,诸如柏木醇和邻甲苯酚、马钱子碱和对硝基苯酚以及三乙烯二胺和对硝基苯酚,进行了四圆X射线衍射结构分析,结果表明,包结化合物的堆砌结构特征随主体分子的体积大小而改变,从隧道型如(1)+(5)和(2)+(11)转变为夹层型如(3)+(11)。用Nd:YAG激光测试晶体的SHG效应,结果表明,大部分包结物晶体具有非线性光学性质。  相似文献

A rapid high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) method was used to isolate five minor compounds from rhizome of Sparganium stoloniferum namely San Leng in Chinese, including two phenylpropanoid glycosides, sparganiaside A (1) and 1-O-feruloyl-3-p-coumaroylglycerol (2), and three aromatic acids, vanillic acid (3), p-hydroxylcinnamic acid (4), and p-hydroxybenzoic acid (5), of which, compound 1 was a new one. Five compounds were preparatively enriched at top efficiency by one-step HSCCC operation in the isolation procedure. A suitable solvent system composed of chloroform-methanol-water (4:3.5:1.8, v/v/v) was used. And the operation time was less than 4 h. The purities of compounds (1-5) in the enriched fractions were determined to be 75.8%, 66.3%, 90.6%, 79.9%, and 98.2%, respectively. The mean recoveries of the five compounds were 84.8%, 87.3%, 81.8%, 90.3%, and 92.7%, respectively. Compounds 1-4 were further purified by semi-preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). This is the first report on the use of HSCCC as a fractionation tool for preparative isolation of minor compounds from S. stoloniferum. The method was proved to be rapid, convenient, high yield, and low cost. HSCCC was shown to be a quick and effective tool in isolation of natural products even though the compounds were not abundant.  相似文献

Three new compounds: 2R,3R-pterosin L 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1), beta-D-xylopyranosyl(1-->2)-7-O-benzoyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2) and 4-O-benzoyl-beta-D-xylo-pyranosyl(1-->2)-7-O-benzoyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), together with nine known compounds, were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of Pteris ensiformis. 5-[2-Hydroxyethylidene]-2(5H)-furanone (4), which had been synthesized, was isolated from natural sources for the first time. The structures of all isolated compounds were determined on the basis of mass and spectroscopic evidence. Compound 1 and pterosin B (5) show cytotoxicity against HL 60 cells (human leukemia) with the IC(50) values of 3.7 and 8.7 microg/mL, respectively.  相似文献

A new flavonol glycoside together with five known phenolic compounds were isolated from the whole herb of Callianthemum taipaicum. The compounds were identified as isorhamnetin-3-O-α-L-arabinoside-7-O-β-D-glucoside (1), isorhamnetin-3-O-β-D-glucoside (2), dibutyl phthalate (3), (+)-1-hydroxylpinoresinol-4'-β-D-glucoside (4), pinoresinol-4'-O-β-D-glucoside (5) and 2-phenylethyl-β-primeveroside (6). Compound 1 was identified as a new flavonol glycoside. The compound 6 was isolated for the first time as natural product. All compounds were isolated for the first time from the Callianthemum genus. Furthermore, the 2D-NMR data of the four known compounds 2-5 are given for the first time in this paper. All the structures were identified on the basis of detailed spectral analysis. The compounds 1 and 4 exhibited certain antifungal activity.  相似文献

A new sesquiterpene (1), and a halogenated C15 acetogenin (2), a stereoisomer of neoisoprelaurefucin were isolated from Laurencia obtusa. Four known compounds laurencienyne (3), rogiolenyne B (4), obtusenol (5), and (3E)-dactomelyne (6) were also isolated from this alga. Rogiolenyne B (4) and (3E)-dactomelyne (6) were found for the first from this species. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The unambiguous assignments of the 1H and 13C NMR spectral data of (5) and 13C NMR data of (6) were also reported for the first time.  相似文献

Three new phenyl ether derivatives, 3‐hydroxy‐5‐(3‐hydroxy‐5‐methylphenoxy)benzoic acid ( 1 ), 3,4‐dihydroxy‐5‐(3‐hydroxy‐5‐methylphenoxy)benzoic acid ( 2 ), 3‐[3‐hydroxy‐5‐(hydroxymethyl)phenoxy]‐5‐methylphenol ( 3 ), and three known compounds 4 – 6 were obtained from the fermentation broth of Aspergillus carneus HQ889708, which was isolated from sea water from South China Sea. The structures of compounds 1 – 3 were established on the basis of spectroscopic methods including ESI‐MS and NMR. Compounds 4 – 6 were reported before as synthesized products, herein, they are reported from nature for the first time.  相似文献

A new phenolic glycoside, dryopteroside (1), was isolated from the rhizomes of Dryopteris crassirhizoma (Dryopteridaceae), together with five known compounds, 4beta-carboxymethyl-(-)-epicatechin (2), isobiflorin (3), biflorin (4), 1-beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy-3-methoxy-5-hydroxybenzene (5) and (+)-catechin-6-C-beta-D-glucopyranoside (6). The new compound was elucidated to be 1-butanoyl-3-C-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-5-methyl-phloroglucinyl-6-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) by chemical and various spectroscopic analyses. The known compounds 2-6 were first reported from the genus Dryopteris.  相似文献

Nine compounds have been isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of C. sinensis, namely protocatechuic acid (1), trans-caffeic acid (2), methyl rosmarinate (3), rosmarinic acid (4), kaempferide-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (6), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7), kaempferide-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside (8) and kaempferol-3-O-α-L-rhamno-pyranosyl (1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside (9), all reported for the first time from this species. The structures of these compounds were deduced on the basis of spectroscopic studies, including 1D and 2D NMR techniques. Compounds 1-9 were investigated for biological activity and showed significant anti-inflammatory activity in the carrageen induced rat paw edema test. The antioxidant activities of isolated compounds 1-9 were evaluated by the DPPH radical scavenging test, and compounds 1, 2, 4 and 7-9 exhibited marked scavenging activity compared to the standard BHA. These compounds were further studied for their anti-glycation properties and some compounds showed significant anti-glycation inhibitory activity. The purity of compounds 2-5, 8 and 9 was confirmed by HPLC. The implications of these results for the chemotaxonomic studies of the genus Cordia have also been discussed.  相似文献

Bioassay guided isolation of an antibacterial extract prepared from the fermentation broth of a Micromonospora sp. P1068 led to the isolation of eight compounds identified as (3R) 3,4',7-trihydroxy-isoflavanone (1), 3-hydroxydehydrodaidzein, daidzein (2), 3-methyl-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid (3), 1H-indole-3-carboxaldehyde (4), 3-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-N-methylpropionamide, N-methylphloretamide (5), phenyl acetic acid (6), 2-hydroxy phenyl acetic acid (7) and 4-hydroxy-5-methoxy-benzoic acid (8). Compounds 1 and 5 were found to be novel chemical entities while 3 was isolated from a natural source for the first time. All compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial activities against a panel of clinically significant microorganisms. Compound 4 was active against Staphylococcus aureus (MIC, 32 microg/ml), Enterococcus faecium (MIC, 32 microg/ml) and Escherichia coli (MIC, 64 microg/ml).  相似文献

Two new compounds, namely taenialactam C and globorin A (1 and 2), as well as six known compounds, cornoside (3), 2-phenylethyl-b-D-glucoside (4), 3-isopropyl-5-acetoxycyclohexene-2-one-1 (5), 4-methyl-phenol (6), 5-[(2S)-2-aminobutyl]-2-methyl-phenol (7), and 1-(4-methylphenyl)-1-propanone (8) were isolated from wild Phaeocystis globosa. The structures of the new compounds were established by detailed spectroscopic analysis and by comparison with spectral data of related known compounds. The structures of the known compounds were identified by comparing their spectroscopic data with those reported in the literature. This paper also reports toxicity properties of the eight compounds against the brine shrimp Artemia salina and juvenile Epinephelus akaara fish. Some of these compounds showed significant lethality on the brine shrimp A. salina and the juvenile E. akaara fish.  相似文献

The in vitro inhibitory activity of five new progesterone derivatives: 17alpha-hydroxy-16beta-methylpregna-1,4,6-triene-3,20-dione 1; 16beta-methyl-17alpha-toluoyloxypregna-1,4,6-triene-3,20-dione 2; 17alpha-hydroxy-6-methylenepregn-4-ene-3,20-dione 3; 6-methylene-17alpha-toluoyloxypregn-4ene-3,20-dione 4 and 17alpha-(p-bromobenzoyloxy)-6-methylenepregn-4-ene-3,20-dione 5 was determined. These compounds were evaluated as 5alpha-reductase inhibitors as well as antagonists for the androgen receptor. Compounds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 showed the following inhibitory activity for the 5alpha-reductase enzyme with IC(50) values of: 1 (1.65 microM), 2 (10 microM), 3 (19 nM), 4 (100 nM) and 5 (100 nM). The results of this study also showed the effect of increasing concentrations of the novel steroids upon [(3)H]dihydrotestosterone binding to androgen receptors from male hamster prostate. The K(i) values for compounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and dihydrotestosterone showed the following order of affinity for the androgen receptor: 4>5>dihydrotestosterone>2>3>1. The overall data indicated that all synthesized compounds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are inhibitors of the 5alpha-reductase enzyme present in the hamster prostate. In addition compounds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 also presented an affinity for the androgen receptor.  相似文献

Allergy-preventive activity was demonstrated for an extract of resins from Xanthorrhoea hastilis R. BR. in a search for allergy-preventive substances from natural sources. By bioassay-directed fractionation of this plant extract, a new flavanone, 3',5'-dihydroxy-7,4'-dimethoxyflavanone (1), and two new chalcones, 3,5,2'-trihydroxy-4,4'-dimethoxychalcone (2) and 5,2'-dihydroxy-3,4,4'-trimethoxychalcone (3), were isolated together with five known compounds, 5'-hydroxy-7,3',4'-trimethoxyflavanone (4), 3'-hydroxy-7,4'-dimethoxyflavanone (5), liquiritigenin 7-methyl ether (6), 4,2'-dihydroxy-4'-methoxychalcone (7) and sakuranetin (8). The structures of 1, 2 and 3 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. All of these compounds showed allergy-preventive effects.  相似文献
