The aim of this review is to highlight the rich chemistry of α-haloamides originally mainly used to discover new C−N, C−O and C−S bond forming reactions, and later widely employed in C−C cross-coupling reactions with C(sp3), C(sp2) and C(sp) coupling partners. Radical-mediated transformations of α-haloamides bearing a suitable located unsaturated bond has proven to be a straightforward alternative to access diverse cyclic compounds by means of either radical initiators, transition metal redox catalysis or visible light photoredox catalysis. On the other hand, cycloadditions with α-halohydroxamate-based azaoxyallyl cations have garnered significant attention. Moreover, in view of the important role in life and materials science of difluoroalkylated compounds, a wide range of catalysts has been developed for the efficient incorporation of difluoroacetamido moieties into activated as well as unactivated substrates.  相似文献

Enolonium species/iodo(III)enolates of carbonyl compounds have been suggested to be intermediates in a wide variety of hypervalent iodine induced chemical transformations of ketones, including α‐C−O, α‐C−N, α‐C−C, and α‐carbon–halide bond formation, but they have never been characterized. We report that these elusive umpoled enolates may be made as discrete species that are stable for several minutes at −78 °C, and report the first spectroscopic identification of such species. It is shown that enolonium species are direct intermediates in C−O, C−N, C−Cl, and C−C bond forming reactions. Our results open up chemical space for designing a variety of new transformations. We showcase the ability of enolonium species to react with prenyl, crotyl, cinnamyl, and allyl silanes with absolute regioselectivity in up to 92 % yield.  相似文献

Most of compounds containing more than one reactive groups may produce several byproducts during the coupling process. Selective carbon‐heteroatom coupling reactions, which have merits of high synthetic efficiency and step economy, are the best choice to resolve the problem. Although they have made great progress, they deserve further exploration. This review discusses their recent advances and intend to inspire the research in the future. It is organized on the basis of selective carbon‐heteroatom coupling reaction types, including selective C−N and C−N, C−N and C−O, C−O and C−O, C−C and C−N coupling reactions.  相似文献

Methods that enable the direct C−H alkoxylation of complex organic molecules are significantly underdeveloped, particularly in comparison to analogous strategies for C−N and C−C bond formation. In particular, almost all methods for the incorporation of alcohols by C−H oxidation require the use of the alcohol component as a solvent or co-solvent. This condition limits the practical scope of these reactions to simple, inexpensive alcohols. Reported here is a photocatalytic protocol for the functionalization of benzylic C−H bonds with a wide range of oxygen nucleophiles. This strategy merges the photoredox activation of arenes with copper(II)-mediated oxidation of the resulting benzylic radicals, which enables the introduction of benzylic C−O bonds with high site selectivity, chemoselectivity, and functional-group tolerance using only two equivalents of the alcohol coupling partner. This method enables the late-stage introduction of complex alkoxy groups into bioactive molecules, providing a practical new tool with potential applications in synthesis and medicinal chemistry.  相似文献

An unprecedented method that makes use of the cooperative interplay between molecular iodine and photoredox catalysis has been developed for dual light-activated intramolecular benzylic C−H amination. Iodine serves as the catalyst for the formation of a new C−N bond by activating a remote C −H bond (1,5-HAT process) under visible-light irradiation while the organic photoredox catalyst TPT effects the reoxidation of the molecular iodine catalyst. To explain the compatibility of the two involved photochemical steps, the key N−I bond activation was elucidated by computational methods. The new cooperative catalysis has important implications for the combination of non-metallic main-group catalysis with photocatalysis.  相似文献

Insights into the naphthoquinone photoredox reactions have been gained from the reactions of a C-glycosyl naphthoquinone. The retentiveness comes from the balance of the lifetime of intermediary zwitterionic species relative to the conformational change to bring about the stereo-mutating C−C bond rotation.  相似文献

Nitrogen-rich carbon nitride (CN x , x >/= 1) network materials have been produced as disordered structures by a variety of precursor-based methods, many that involve solid-state thermolysis at or above 500 degrees C. One popular precursor building block is the triazine unit (C 3N 3), and most postulated amorphous CN x network structures are based on cross-linked triazine units. Since hydrogen is most often observed in the product, these materials are usually more appropriately described as CN x H y materials. Results from recent carbon nitride studies using larger conjugated heptazine (C 6N 7) precursors and from rigorous structural investigations of triazine to heptazine thermal conversion processes have prompted a reexamination of likely local structures present in amorphous carbon nitride networks formed by triazine thermolysis reactions. In the present study, the formation and local structure of a CN x H y material formed via the rapid and exothermic decomposition of a reactive triazine precursor, C 3N 3(NHCl) 3, was examined by byproduct gas mass spectrometry, NMR and IR spectroscopy, base hydrolysis, and crystallographic analysis. The combined results clearly indicate that the moderate-temperature ( approximately 400 degrees C) self-sustaining decomposition of trichloromelamine results in ring fragmentation and reorganization into a CN x H y product that contains predominantly larger heptazine-like structural building blocks. These results may have applicability to many other disordered carbon nitride materials that are formed via triazine thermolysis. It also provides clearer and more accurate structural guidance in the use of these carbon nitrides as photoactive materials or coordination supports for metal and nonmetal species.  相似文献

L-methionine (L−Me) deficiency in human body leads to several complications. In the present work, graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets (GCN−S) modified glassy carbon electrode (GC/GCN−S) was developed as a cost effective electrochemical sensor for L−Me. The oxidation of L−Me at bare GC electrode shows an ill-defined peak and it was unstable whereas a well-defined stable oxidation peak was obtained at GC/GCN−S electrode. While increasing L−Me concentration from 100 nM to 0.2 mM, the amperometric current increases linearly with R2=0.9901 and LOD was found to be 0.32 nM (S/N=3). Finally, GC/GCN−S electrode was used to determine L−Me in blood serum samples.  相似文献

While carbon–heteroatom cross-coupling reactions have been extensively studied, many methods are specific and limited to a particular set of substrates or functional groups. Reported here is a general method that allows for C−O, C−N and C−S cross-coupling reactions under one general set of conditions. We propose that an energy transfer pathway, in which an iridium photosensitizer produces an excited nickel(II) complex, is responsible for the key reductive elimination step that couples aryl bromides, iodides, and chlorides to 1° and 2° alcohols, amines, thiols, carbamates, and sulfonamides, and is amenable to scale up via a flow apparatus.  相似文献

A combination of nickel and photoredox catalysts promoted novel cross‐coupling reactions of aryl halides with 4‐alkyl‐1,4‐dihydropyridines. 4‐Alkyl‐1,4‐dihydropyridines act as formal nucleophilic alkylation reagents through a photoredox‐catalyzed carbon–carbon (C?C) bond‐cleavage process. The present strategy provides an alternative to classical carbon‐centered nucleophiles, such as organometallic reagents.  相似文献

Developing methods that activate C−H bonds directly with high selectivity for C−C bond formation in complex organic synthesis has been a major chemistry challenge. Recently it has been shown that photoactivation of weakly polarized C−H bonds can be carried out inside a cationic water-soluble nanocage with visible light-mediated host-guest charge transfer (CT) chemistry. Using this novel photoredox activation paradigm, here we demonstrate C−C bond formation to photo-generate 1,3-diynes at room temperature in water from terminal aromatic alkynes for the first time. The formation of cavity-confined alkyne radical cation and the proton-removed neutral radical species highlight the unique C−C coupling step driven by supramolecular preorganization.  相似文献

The direct catalytic C−H amination of arenes is a powerful synthetic strategy with useful applications in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and materials chemistry. Despite the advances in catalytic C−H functionalization, the use of aliphatic amine coupling partners is limited. Described herein is the construction of C−N bonds, using primary amines, by direct C−H functionalization with an acridinium photoredox catalyst under an aerobic atmosphere. A wide variety of primary amines, including amino acids and more complex amines are competent coupling partners. Various electron‐rich aromatics and heteroaromatics are useful scaffolds in this reaction, as are complex, biologically active arenes. We also describe the ability to functionalize arenes that are not oxidized by an acridinium catalyst, such as benzene and toluene, thus supporting a reactive amine cation radical intermediate.  相似文献

The rational design of highly active hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) catalysts at the atomic level is urgent for aerobic reactions. Herein, a doping impurity atom strategy is adopted to increase its catalytic activities. A series of doping systems involving O, C impurities and B, N antisites are constructed and their catalytic activities for molecular O2 have been studied by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. It is demonstrated that O2 is highly activated on ON and BN defects, and moderately activated on CB and CN defects, however, it is not stable on NB and OB defects. The subsequent application in oxidative desulfurization (ODS) reactions proves the ON and C-doped (CB, CN) systems to be good choice for sulfocompounds oxidization, especially for dibenzothiophene (DBT). While the BN antisite is not suitable for such aerobic reaction due to the extremely stable B−O*−B species formed during the oxidation process.  相似文献

Herein, we report on the potential multifunctional spintronic action of half-metallic graphitic carbon nitride (g-C4N3). We observed electrostatic spin-crossover action at an applied electric field of −0.77 V nm−1, which eventually leads to spin-switching action and change in sign of bias dependent spin injection coefficient. The system also acts as a spin polarized charge current rectifier with rectification ratio of 65.41 in spin-up channel only. This electric field-controlled spin switching action and simultaneous existence of rectification action makes graphitic carbon nitride a perfect multifunctional spintronic system-an ideal material for quantum logic gate design. Results obtained have been substantiated through transmission spectra and transmission pathways analyses. An analysis of projected device density of states of the system and molecular projected self consistent Hamiltonian states analysis reveals that the electron flow of the system is mainly facilitated by 2p orbitals of C and N atoms.  相似文献

High-performance and low-cost bifunctional catalysts are crucial to energy conversion and storage devices. Herein, a novel oxygen electrode catalyst with high oxygen evolution reaction and oxygen reduction reaction (OER/ORR) performance is reported based on bimetal FeNi nanoparticles anchored on N-doped graphene-like carbon (FeNi/N−C). The complete 2D ultrathin carbon nanosheet is induced by etching and stripping of molten sodium chloride and its ions in the carbonization process at suitable temperature. The obtained FeNi/N−C catalyst exhibits rapid reaction kinetics for OER, efficient four electron transfer for ORR, and outstanding bifunctional performance with reversible oxygen electrode index of 0.87 V for OER/ORR. Zn-air batteries with a high open-circuit voltage of 1.46 V and a stable discharge voltage of 1.23 V are assembled using liquid electrolytes, zinc sheet as Zn-electrode and FeNi/N−C coating on carbon cloth as air-electrode. The specific capacity is as high as 816 mAh g−1 and there is extremely little decay after charge-discharge cycle time of 275 h for the FeNi/N−C as oxygen electrode catalyst in Zn-air battery, which are much better than that assembled with Pt/C−RuO2 catalyst.  相似文献

Carbon-fluorine bonds are stable and have demonstrated sluggishness against various chemical manipulations. However, selective transformations of C−F bonds can be achieved by developing appropriate conditions as useful synthetic methods in organic chemistry. This review focuses on C−C bond formation at monofluorinated sp3-hybridized carbons via C−F bond cleavage, including cross-coupling and multi-component coupling reactions. The C−F bond cleavage mechanisms on the sp3-hybridized carbon centers can be primarily categorized into three types: Lewis acids promoted F atom elimination to generate carbocation intermediates; nucleophilic substitution with metal or carbon nucleophiles supported by the activation of C−F bonds by coordination of Lewis acids; and the cleavage of C−F bonds via a single electron transfer. The characteristic features of alkyl fluorides, in comparison with other (pseudo)halides as promising electrophilic coupling counterparts, are also discussed.  相似文献

Expanding the toolbox of C−H functionalization reactions applicable to the late-stage modification of complex molecules is of interest in medicinal chemistry, wherein the preparation of structural variants of known pharmacophores is a key strategy for drug development. One manifold for the functionalization of aromatic molecules utilizes diazo compounds and a transition-metal catalyst to generate a metallocarbene species, which is capable of direct insertion into an aromatic C−H bond. However, these high-energy intermediates can often require directing groups or a large excess of substrate to achieve efficient and selective reactivity. Herein, we report that arene cation radicals generated by organic photoredox catalysis engage in formal C−H functionalization reactions with diazoacetate derivatives, furnishing sp2–sp3 coupled products with moderate-to-good regioselectivity. In contrast to previous methods utilizing metallocarbene intermediates, this transformation does not proceed via a carbene intermediate, nor does it require the presence of a transition-metal catalyst.  相似文献

Graphitic carbon nitride can be imprinted with a twisted hexagonal rod‐like morphology by a nanocasting technique using chiral silicon dioxides as templates. The helical nanoarchitectures promote charge separation and mass transfer of carbon nitride semiconductors, enabling it to act as a more efficient photocatalyst for water splitting and CO2 reduction than the pristine carbon nitride polymer. This is to our knowledge a unique example of chiral graphitic carbon nitride that features both left‐ and right‐handed helical nanostructures and exhibits unique optical activity to circularly polarized light at the semiconductor absorption edge as well as photoredox activity for solar‐to‐chemical conversion. Such helical nanostructured polymeric semiconductors are envisaged to hold great promise for a range of applications that rely on such semiconductor properties as well as chirality for photocatalysis, asymmetric catalysis, chiral recognition, nanotechnology, and chemical sensing.  相似文献

Owing to their non-toxic, stable, inexpensive properties, carboxylic acids are considered as environmentally benign alternatives as coupling partners in various organic transformations. Electrochemical mediated decarboxylation of carboxylic acid has emerged as a new and efficient methodology for the construction of carbon-carbon or carbon-heteroatom bonds. Compared with transition-metal catalysis and photoredox catalysis, electro-organic decarboxylative transformations are considered as a green and sustainable protocol due to the absence of chemical oxidants and strong bases. Further, it exhibits good tolerance with various functional groups. In this Minireview, we summarize the recent advances and discoveries on the electrochemical decarboxylative transformations on C−C and C−heteroatoms bond formations.  相似文献

Photocatalytic Diels–Alder (D–A) reactions with electron rich olefins are realized by graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) under visible‐light irradiation and aerobic conditions. This heterogeneous photoredox reaction system is highly efficient, and the apparent quantum yield reaches a remarkable value of 47 % for the model reaction. Dioxygen plays a critical role as electron mediator, which is distinct from the previous reports in the homogeneous RuII complex photoredox system. Moreover, the reaction intermediate vinylcyclobutane is captured and monitored during the reaction, serving as a direct evidence for the proposed reaction mechanism. The cycloaddition process is thereby determined to be the combination of direct [4+2] cycloaddition and [2+2] cycloaddition followed by photocatalytic rearrangement of the vinylcyclobutane intermediate.  相似文献
