A new kind of excited even q-coherent states (aq^-1)^m|α〉q^e and excited odd q-coherent states (aq^-1)^m|α〉q^o is constructed by acting with inverse boson operators on the even and odd q-coherent states. The m dependence of the kth-order antibunching effect is numerically studied for k = 2, 3, 4, 5. It is shown that the kth-order antibunching effect enhances as m increases. The larger k, the quicker the antibunching effect enhances.  相似文献

In this work, we analyze the positive parity of states of odd-A Eu isotopes within the framework of interacting boson fermion model (IBFM-1). The result of an IBFM-1 multilevel calculation with the 3s1/2, 2d3/2, 2d5/2, and 1g7/2 single panicle orbits is reported for the positive parity states of the odd-A Eu isotopes. A/so, an IBM-1 calculation is presented for the low-lying states in the even-even 152-154Sm core nucleus. The energy levels and B(E2) transition probabilities are calculated and compared with the experimental data. It is found that the calculated positive parity low spin state energy spectra of the odd-A Eu isotopes agree quite well with the experimental data.  相似文献

The ground state of the one-dimensional hard-core boson Hubbard model with a superlattice potential is studied by quantum Monte Carlo methods. We demonstrate that besides the CDW phase and the Mott insulator phase, the supersolid phase emerges due to the presence of the superlattice potential, which reflects the competition with the hopping term. We also study the densities of sublattices and have a clear idea about the distribution of the bosons on the lattice.  相似文献

Considering the process pp→VH +X(V = W or Z) is a significant channel for searching for a light Higgs boson, we calculate the contributions of the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (called LHT model) to its production cross section. We find that, in most of the parameter space, the value of the relative correction parameter R is very small. However, with reasonable values of the free parameters, its value can be significantly larger.  相似文献

The left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model predicts the existence of three additional Higgs bosons: one neutral Higgs φo and a pair of charged Higgs bosons φ±. In this paper, we study two pair production processes of these new particles at the next generation eγ colliders, i.e., e-γ → e-φ+φ- , and e-γ→vRφ-φ0. We find that the production cross section of the process e-γ → e-φ+φ- are at the level of several tens fb, the production cross section of the process e-γ→vRφ-φ0 can reach 0.35 fb with the reasonable parameter values. As long as the charged Higgs bosons are not too heavy, we conclude that these processes might be used to test for the left-right twin Higgs model in future high-energy linear collider experiments.  相似文献

We present the results of a search for standard model Higgs boson production with decay to WW*, identified through the leptonic final states e+ e- nu nu,+/-mu -/+nu nu and mu+ mu- nu nu. This search uses 360 pb -1 of data collected from pp collisions at square root of s =1.96 TeV by the upgraded Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF II). We observe no signal excess and set 95% confidence level upper limits on the production cross section times branching ratio for the Higgs boson to WW* or any new scalar particle with similar decay products. These upper limits range from 5.5 to 3.2 pb for Higgs boson masses between 120 and 200 GeV/c2.  相似文献

The top-pair production in association with a Z0-boson at a photon-photon collider is an important process in probing the coupling between top-quarks and vector boson and discovering the signature of possible new physics. We describe the impact of the complete supersymmetric QCD (SQCD) next-to-leading order (NLO)radiative corrections on this process at a polarized or unpolarized photon collider, and make a comparison between the effects of the SQCD and the standard model (SM) QCD. We investigate the dependence of the lowest-order (LO) and QCD NLO corrected cross sections in both the SM and minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) on colliding energy s1/2 in different polarized photon collision modes. The LO, SM NLO, and SQCD NLO corrected distributions of the invariantmass of t\bar{t}-pair and the transverse momenta of final Z0-boson are presented. Our numerical results show that the pure SQCD effects in γγ→t\bar{t}z0 process can be more significant in the + + polarized photon collision mode than in other collision modes, and the relative SQCD radiative correction in unpolarized photon collision mode varies from 32.09\% to -1.89\% when s1/2 goes up from 500 GeV to 1.5 TeV.  相似文献

We present a new search for H0V production, where H0 is a scalar Higgs boson decaying into bb with branching ratio beta, and V is a Z0 boson decaying into e+e-, mu+mu-, or nunu. This search is then combined with previous searches for H0V where V is a W+/- boson or a hadronically decaying Z0. The data sample consists of 106 +/- 4 pb(-1) of pp collisions at square root of s = 1.8 TeV accumulated by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. Observing no evidence of a signal, we set 95% Bayesian credibility level upper limits on sigma(pp --> H0V) x beta. For H0 masses of 90, 110, and 130 GeV/c2, the limits are 7.8, 7.2, and 6.6 pb, respectively.  相似文献

We study Higgs boson production and decay in a certain class of little Higgs models with T-parity in which some T-parity partners of the Standard Model (SM) fermions gain their masses through Yukawa-type couplings. We find that the Higgs boson production cross section of a 120 GeV Higgs boson at the CERN LHC via gg fusion process at one-loop level could be reduced by about 45%, 35% and 20%, as compared to its SM prediction, for a relatively low new particle mass scale f=600, 700 and 1000 GeV, respectively. On the other hand, the weak boson fusion cross section is close to the SM value. Furthermore, the Higgs boson decay branching ratio into di-photon mode can be enhanced by about 35% in small Higgs mass region in certain case, for the total decay width of Higgs boson in the little Higgs model is always smaller than that in the SM.  相似文献

An investigation of the properties of the Cd and Te isotopes is performed in the framework of the interacting boson approximation. Particular attention is paid to the presence of “intruder” 0+ and 2+ states at the energy of the two-phonon triplet in the middle-shell Cd isotopes. It is suggested that these states originate from two-particle two-hole proton excitations across the shell gap at Z = 50. The behaviour of these states is studied as a function of the neutron number. No clear evidence of similar phenomena is observed in the Te isotopes. The collectives features of these nuclei are found to be in satisfactory agreement with the predictions of the neutron-proton interacting boson model.  相似文献

We study the signals and backgrounds for a heavy Higgs boson in the processes γγWWWW, γWWZZ at the proton linear collider. The results are based on the complete tree-level SM calculation for these reactions. We show that the invariant mass spectrum of central WW, ZZ pairs is sensitive to the signal from Higgs boson with a mass up to 1 TeV linear collider for integrated luminosity of 300 fb−1. At 1.5 TeV PLC Higgs boson with a mass up to 700 GeV can be studied. The nonresonant longitudinal gauge boson scattering (mH = ∞) can be detected in photon-photon collisions at e+e center-of-mass energy of 3 TeV.  相似文献

We report an upper limit on the fraction of V+A current, fV+A, in top-quark decays, using approximately 700 pb-1 of pp[over ] collisions at sqrts=1.96 TeV acquired by the upgraded Collider Detector at Fermilab. For the decay t-->Wb-->lnub (where l=e or micro), the invariant mass of the charged lepton and the bottom quark jet is sensitive to the polarization of the W boson. We determine fV+A=-0.06+/-0.25 given a top-quark mass of 175 GeV/c2. We set an upper limit on fV+A of 0.29 at the 95% confidence level, an improvement by a factor of 2 on the previous best direct limit.  相似文献

We report the results of a search for a W' boson produced in pp; collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.8 TeV using a 106 pb(-1) data sample recorded by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. We observe no significant excess of events above background for a W' boson decaying to a top and bottom quark pair. In a model where this boson would mediate interactions involving a massive right-handed neutrino (nu(R)) and have standard model strength couplings, we use these data to exclude a W' boson with mass between 225 and 536 GeV/c(2) at 95% confidence level for M(W')>M(nu(R)) and between 225 and 566 GeV/c(2) at 95% confidence level for M(W')相似文献

In the SU(3) simple group model, the new neutral gauge boson Z' couples to pairs of SM fermions with couplings fixed in terms of the SM gauge couplings and depending only on the choice of the fermion embedding. In this paper, we calculate the contributions of this new particle to the processes e^+e^-→l^+l^-, bb^-, and cc^- and study the possibility of detecting this new particle via these processes in the future high-energy linear e^+e^- collider(LC) experiments with √s= 500 GeV and £int= 340 fb^-1. We find that the new gauge boson Z' is most sensitive to the process e^+e^-→b^+b^-. As long as Mz,≤2 TeV , the absolute values of the relative correction parameter are larger than 5%. We calculate the forward-backward asymmetries and left-right asymmetries for the process e^+e^-→c^+c^-, with both the universal and anomaly-free fermion embeddings. Bounds on Z' masses are also estimated within 95% confidence level.  相似文献

In this paper, charged Higgs pair production through l^+l^- → H^+ H^-, where l = e or μ, is studied within the framework of a general Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM). The analysis is relevant to a future e^+e^- or μ^+ μ^- collider operating at center of mass energy of √s = 500 GeV. Two different scenarios of small and large a values are studied. Here a is the parameter, which diagonMizes the neutral CP-even Higgs boson mass matrix. Within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), cross section of this process is almost the same at e+ e- and #+#- colliders. It is shown that at e^+e^- eolliders within a general 2HDM, cross section is not sensitive to the mass of neutral Higgs bosons, however, it can acquire large values up to several picobarn at μ^+μ^- colliders with the presence of heavy neutral Higgs bosons. A scan over Higgs boson mass parameter space is performed to analyze the effect of large masses of neutral Higgs bosons involved in the s-channel propagator and thus in the total cross section of this process.  相似文献

We present a detailed study of the central exclusive production of the standard model Higgs boson in the WW decay channel at the LHC. We include estimates of the experimental acceptance, including that of the proposed proton tagging detectors at 220 m and 420 m around either ATLAS and/or CMS, and the level 1 trigger acceptances. We give first estimates of the photon-photon and glue-glue background processes in the semi-leptonic and fully leptonic decay channels. We find that there will be a detectable signal for Higgs masses between 140 GeV and 200 GeV, and that the backgrounds should be controllable. Arrival of the final proofs: 1 December 2005  相似文献

In the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), we study the light Higgs boson radiation off a light-chargino pair in the process at linear colliders with GeV. We analyze cross sections in the regions of the MSSM parameter space where the process cannot proceed via on-shell production and subsequent decay of either heavier charginos or the pseudoscalar Higgs boson A. Cross sections up to a few fb are allowed, according to present experimental limits on the Higgs boson, chargino and sneutrino masses. Using the technique of integration within ordered product (IWOP) of operators and the Schwinger boson representation for the angular momentum theory as well as the coherent state's method, we evaluate the Feynman transformation matrix element for the angular momentum system whose Hamiltonian is H = AJx + BJy + CJx (A, B, C real). In the framework of T2HDM, we calculated the new physics contributions involving neutral Higgs bosons to the branching ratios of B_(s,d)~0→e~+e~-(e=e,μ) decays. Comparing the theoretical predictions with the experimental upper-limits, we found that (a) The data of Br(B_d~0→e~+e~-)give the upper bound on tanβ: tanβ≤ 22, while Br(B_s~0→e~+e~-)give tanβ≤12 for fixed δ = 0°, m_H+=350 GeV, m_Ho = 160 GeV, m_Ho= 115 GeV and m_Ao=120 GeV; (b) A light neutral Higgs boson mass m_Ho (m_Ao) less than 50 GeV (120 GeV) is excluded by the data of branching ratios for B_(s,d)~0→e~+e~-(e=μ) decays with tanβ=10; (c) The bounds on m_(h~0) and tanβ, or m_(A~0) and tanβ are strongly correlated: a smaller (larger) tanβ means a lighter (heavier) neutral Higgs boson.  相似文献
