In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient second order optimality conditions for multiobjective problems using second order directional derivatives. We propose the notion of second order KT-pseudoinvex problems and we prove that this class of problems has the following property: a problem is second order KT-pseudoinvex if and only if all its points that satisfy the second order necessary optimality condition are weakly efficient. Also we obtain second order sufficient conditions for efficiency.  相似文献

In this paper, we study optimal control problems for quasi-linear elliptic–parabolic variational inequalities with time-dependent constraints. We prove the existence of an optimal control that minimizes the nonlinear cost functional. Moreover, we apply our general results to some model problems. In particular, we show the necessary condition of optimal pair for a problem of partial differential equation (PDE) with a non-homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a class of Optimal Control problems involving first boundary value problems of parabolic type. A strong variational algorithm has been obtained for solving this class of optimal control problems in a paper by the author and D. W. Reid. It was also shown that any L∞ accumulation points of control sequences generated by the algorithm satisfy a necessary condition for optimality. Since such accumulation points need not exist, it is shown in this paper that control sequences generated by the algorithm always have accumulation points in the sense of control measure, and these accumulation points satisfy a necessary condition for optimality for the corresponding relaxed control problem.  相似文献

In this paper we study an optimal control problem with nonsmooth mixed state and control constraints. In most of the existing results, the necessary optimality condition for optimal control problems with mixed state and control constraints are derived under the Mangasarian-Fromovitz condition and under the assumption that the state and control constraint functions are smooth. In this paper we derive necessary optimality conditions for problems with nonsmooth mixed state and control constraints under constraint qualifications based on pseudo-Lipschitz continuity and calmness of certain set-valued maps. The necessary conditions are stratified, in the sense that they are asserted on precisely the domain upon which the hypotheses (and the optimality) are assumed to hold. Moreover necessary optimality conditions with an Euler inclusion taking an explicit multiplier form are derived for certain cases.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider problems of eigenvalue optimization for elliptic boundary-value problems. The coefficients of the higher derivatives are determined by the internal characteristics of the medium and play the role of control. The necessary conditions of the first and second order for problems of the first eigenvalue maximization are presented. In the case where the maximum is reached on a simple eigenvalue, the second-order condition is formulated as completeness condition for a system of functions in Banach space. If the maximum is reached on a double eigenvalue, the necessary condition is presented in the form of linear dependence for a system of functions. In both cases, the system is comprised of the eigenfunctions of the initial-boundary value problem. As an example, we consider the problem of maximization of the first eigenvalue of a buckling column that lies on an elastic foundation.  相似文献

In this paper, by extending the concept of exceptional family to complementarity problems over the cone of symmetric copositive real matrices, we propose an existence theorem of a solution to the copositive complementarity problem. Extensions of Isac–Carbone?s condition, Karamardian?s condition, weakly properness and coercivity are also introduced. Several applications of these results are presented, and we prove that without exceptional family is a sufficient and necessary condition for the solvability of pseudomonotone copositive complementarity problems.  相似文献

After the pioneering approach of Hestenes, which has not been sufficiently considered, the concept of image of a constrained extremum problem has been recognized recently to be a powerful tool in optimization. Hence in this paper, we consider a necessary optimality condition for a nondifferentiable extremum problem established by Hestenes in the image space and, by again exploiting the concept of image of the problem, a necessary condition embodying that of Hestenes is given. Moreover, the study is completed by expressing the previous result in the space where the unknowns of the given problem run. In this way, we obtain a Lagrangian-type necessary condition holding for a particular class of semidifferentiable problems.  相似文献

An minimization problem with a linear objective function subject to fuzzy relation equations using max-product composition has been considered by Loetamonphong and Fang. They first reduced the problem by exploring the special structure of the problem and then proposed a branch-and-bound method to solve this 0-1 integer programming problem. In this paper, we provide a necessary condition for an optimal solution of the minimization problems in terms of one maximum solution derived from the fuzzy relation equations. This necessary condition enables us to derive efficient procedures for solving such optimization problems. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate our procedures.  相似文献

In this article, we introduce a second-order modified contingent cone and a second-order modified contingent epiderivative. We discuss some properties of the second-order cone and the epiderivative, respectively. Moreover, a Fritz John type necessary optimality condition is obtained for the set-valued optimization problems with constraints by using the second-order modified contingent epiderivative and an example is proposed to explain the Fritz John type necessary optimality condition. In particular, we obtain a unified second-order sufficient and necessary optimality condition for the set-valued optimization problems with constraints under twice differentiable L-quasi-convex assumption.  相似文献

In this paper, we study affine boundary value problems for one dimensional stochastic differential equations. Under suitable conditions on the coefficients of the SDE, we prove existence and uniqueness results. In this paper, we present a necessary and sufficient condition for a zero duality gap between a primal optimization problem and its generalized augmented Lagrangian dual problems. The condition is mainly expressed in the form of the lower semicontinuity of a perturbation function at the origin. For a constrained optimization problem, a general equivalence is established for zero duality gap properties defined by a general nonlinear Lagrangian dual problem and a generalized augmented Lagrangian dual problem, respectively. For a constrained optimization problem with both equality and inequality constraints, we prove that first-order and second-order necessary optimality conditions of the augmented Lagrangian problems with a convex quadratic augmenting function converge to that of the original constrained program. For a mathematical program with only equality constraints, we show that the second-order necessary conditions of general augmented Lagrangian problems with a convex augmenting function converge to that of the original constrained program.This research is supported by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong (PolyU B-Q359.)  相似文献
