New Solitary Wave Solutions to the KdV-Burgers Equation   总被引:12,自引:0,他引:12  
Based on the analysis on the features of the Burgers equation and KdV equation as well as KdV-Burgers equation, a superposition method is proposed to construct the solitary wave solutions of the KdV-Burgers equation from those of the Burgers equation and KdV equation, and then by using it we obtain many solitary wave solutions to the KdV-Burgers equation, some of which are new ones.PACS: 02.30.Jr; 03.65.Ge  相似文献

In this paper, new explicit and exact travelling wave solutions for a compound KdV-Burgers equation are obtained by using the hyperbola function method and the Wu elimination method, which include new solitary wave solutions and periodic solutions. Particularly important cases of the equation, such as the compound KdV, mKdV-Burgers and mKdV equations can be solved by this method. The method can also solve other nonlinear partial differential equations.  相似文献

First, we investigate the solitary wave solutions of the Burgers equation and the KdV equation, which are obtained by using the hyperbolic function method. Then we present a theorem which will not only give us a clear relation among the hyperbolic-function-type exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations, but also provide us an approach to construct new exact solutions in complex scalar field. Finally, we apply the theorem to the KdV–Burgers equation and obtain its new exact solutions.  相似文献

Making use of a extended tanh method with symbolic computation, we find a new complex line soliton for the two-dimensional (2D) KdV–Burgers equation. Its real part is the sum of the shock wave solution of a 2D Burgers equation and the solitary wave solution of a 2D KdV (KP) equation, and its imaginary part is the product of the shock wave solution of a 2D Burgers equation and the solitary wave solution of a 2D MKdV (MKP) equation.  相似文献

Abstract In terms of the solutions of an auxiliary ordinary differential equation, a new algebraic method, which contains the terms of first-order derivative of functions f (ξ), is constructed to explore the new solitary wave solutions for nonlinear evolution equations. The method is applied to a compound KdV-Burgers equation, and abundant new solitary wave solutions are obtained. The algorithm is also applicable to a large variety of nonlinear evolution equations.  相似文献

利用同伦分析法求解了Burgers方程,得到了其扭结形孤立波的近似解析解,该解非常接近于相应的精确解.结果表明,同伦分析法可用来求解非线性演化方程的孤立波解.同时,也对所用方法进行了一定扩展,得到了Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(KP)方程的钟形孤立子解.经过扩展后的方法能够更方便地用于求解更多非线性演化方程的高精度近似解析解. 关键词: Burgers方程 同伦分析法 KP方程 孤立波解  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss conditional stability of solitary-wave solutions in the sense of Liapunov for the generalized compound KdV equation and the generalized compound KdV-Burgers equations. Linear stability of the exact solitary-wave solutions is proved for the above two types of equations when the small disturbance of travelling wave form satisfies some special conditions.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate a(2+1)-dimensional nonlinear equation model for Rossby waves in stratified fluids.We derive a forced Zakharov–Kuznetsov(ZK)–Burgers equation from the quasigeostrophic potential vorticity equation with dissipation and topography under the generalized beta effect,and by utilizing temporal and spatial multiple scale transform and the perturbation expansion method.Through the analysis of this model,it is found that the generalized beta effect and basic topography can induce nonlinear waves,and slowly varying topography is an external impact factor for Rossby waves.Additionally,the conservation laws for the mass and energy of solitary waves are analyzed.Eventually,the solitary wave solutions of the forced ZK–Burgers equation are obtained by the simplest equation method as well as the new modified ansatz method.Based on the solitary wave solutions obtained,we discuss the effects of dissipation and slowly varying topography on Rossby solitary waves.  相似文献

A general mapping deformation method is applied to a generalized variable coefficient KdV equation. Many new types of exact solutions, including solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Jacobian and Weierstrass doubly periodic wave solutions and other exact excitations are obtained by the use of a simple algebraic transformation relation between the generalized variable coefficient KdV equation and a generalized cubic nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation.  相似文献

Some new exact solutions of an auxiliary ordinary differential equation are obtained, which were neglected by Sirendaoreji {\it et al in their auxiliary equation method. By using this method and these new solutions the combined Korteweg--de Vries (KdV) and modified KdV (mKdV) equation and (2+1)-dimensional Broer--Kaup--Kupershmidt system are investigated and abundant exact travelling wave solutions are obtained that include new solitary wave solutions and triangular periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

In the present work, making use of the hyperbolic tangent method a complex travelling wave solution to the KdV–Burgers equation is obtained. It is observed that the real part of the solution is the combination of a shock and a solitary wave whereas the imaginary part is the product of a shock with a solitary wave. By imposing some restrictions on the field variable at infinity, two complex waves, i.e., right going and left going waves with specific wave speed are obtained.  相似文献

We study a forced variable-coefficient extended Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation in fluid dynamics with respect to internal solitary wave. Bäcklund transformations of the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation are demonstrated with the help of truncated Painlevé expansion. When the variable coefficients are time-periodic, the wave function evolves periodically over time. Symmetry calculation shows that the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation is invariant under the Galilean transformations and the scaling transformations. One-parameter group transformations and one-parameter subgroup invariant solutions are presented. Cnoidal wave solutions and solitary wave solutions of the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation are obtained by means of function expansion method. The consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) solvability of the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation is proved by means of CRE. Interaction phenomenon between cnoidal waves and solitary waves can be observed. Besides, the interaction waveform changes with the parameters. When the variable parameters are functions of time, the interaction waveform will be not regular and smooth.  相似文献

Some exact solutions of the Burgers equation and higher-order Burgers equation in (2+1) dimensions are obtained by using the extended homogeneous balance method. In these solutions there are solitary wave solutions, close formal solutions for the initial value problems of the Burgers equation and higher-order Burgers equation, and also infinitely many rational function solutions. All of the solutions contain some arbitrary functions that may be related to the symmetry properties of the Burgers equation and the higher-order Burgers equation in (2+1) dimensions.  相似文献

In this paper, we make use of a new generalized ansatz in the homogeneous balance method, the well-known Riccati equation and the symbolic computation to study a generalized Hirota--Satsuma coupled KdV system and a coupled MKdV equation, respectively. As a result, numerous explicit exact solutions, comprising new solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and the combined formal solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions, are obtained.  相似文献
