pH and temperature responsive copolymers PNAM4VBCB of N-isopropyl acrylamide(NAM) and complex pseudorotaxane monomer N1-(4-vinylbenzyl)-1,4-diaminobutane dihydrochloride with cucurbit[6]uril(CB[6]) threaded(4VBCB) were prepared via free-radical polymerization in aqueous solution. The copolymers were characterized by 1H NMR, Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectrometry, elemental analysis, and static light scattering. The thermodynamic properties of the copolymers were studied by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), and the effects of pH and the concentration of the copolymer on the average hydrodynamic radius(Rh) were studied by dynamic light scattering(DLS). In addition, the thermal sensitivities of the copolymers were studied by DLS and UV-Vis. The experiment data show that CB[6] beads are localized on 1,4-diaminobutane units in the side chains of the copolymer. TGA data show that thermal stability of the copolymers increases with the adding of CB[6] threaded because of the enhanced rigidity and the bulky steric hindrance of 4VBCB in the side chain of PNAM4VBCB. DLS data show that the average hydrodynamic radius of copolymer increases with the increase of the copolymer concentration and has a jump with adjusting pH due to the existing of the small size CB[6] dethreaded from the copolymer with increasing pH. Both pH and electrical conductivity curves of the solution of PNAM4VBCB-4 have a jump because CB[6] could dethread from the copolymers with the addition of NaOH. In addition, the copolymers have thermal sensitivity and their phase-change temperatures could be controlled by adjusting the molar ratio of NAM to 4VBCB in the copolymers.  相似文献

A long-standing problem in cucurbituril chemistry is answered through the first direct functionalization of cucurbit[n]uril (CB[n]; n = 5-8)) leading to perhydroxyCB[n] which can be further modified to provide tailored CB[n] derivatives with desired functional groups and good solubility. Anchoring a CB[6] derivative on the surface and its potential application as a sensor are demonstrated. A CB[6] derivative forms nanospheres with possible use in protein and peptide drug delivery.  相似文献

A practical method for the separation and purification of cucurbituril (CB) hexamers was developed on the basis of affinity chromatography using aminopentylaminomethylated polystyrene beads. This recyclable resin, which can be used repeatedly, facilitates the general preparation of cucurbituril derivatives and compensates for the usually moderate yields and mixed products that characterize the acid-catalyzed synthesis of CB derivatives. This technique allows convenient, rapid isolation of rare substituted cucurbiturils, including hexacyclohexanocucurbit[6]uril and dodecamethylcucurbit[6]uril. [reaction: see text]  相似文献

荧光光谱法研究葫芦[7]脲与6-巯嘌呤和腺嘌呤的包结作用   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用荧光光谱法分别研究了葫芦[7]脲(CB[7])对6-巯嘌呤(6-MP)和腺嘌呤(ADP)的包结作用。实验考察了时间、pH值以及温度对荧光强度和包结作用的影响,利用Benesi-Hildebrand方程分别计算出6-MP和ADP与CB[7]的包结常数。结果表明:酸度对体系的包结有明显的影响。在pH值为8.0和2.0左右时,6-MP和ADP分别具有稳定和最佳激发和发射波长,随着CB[7]浓度的增大,体系的荧光强度都有明显增强,包结作用迅速(小于5 min)。实验得出CB[7]与6-MP和ADP的包结比均为1∶1,在298 K时的包结常数分别为3.6797×102L·mol-1和2.2033×102L·mol-1。通过热力学参数的变化,探讨了维系包结物稳定性的主要作用力。CB[7]是葫芦脲家族中水溶性最强的主体分子,作为一种安全低毒的药物载体极具潜力。  相似文献

通过葫芦[6]脲(CB[6])与聚[4乙烯基溴(N正丁基)吡啶季铵盐](P4VBuBr,2)在水溶液中于室温下进行超分子自组装,得到一类超分子聚合物———准聚轮烷.通过1HNMR、IR、元素分析对其结构进行了表征,证实CB[6]位于2的侧基脂肪链上,通过非共价键与2结合,并且CB[6]与2重复单元的结合摩尔比分别为0.28∶1、0.2∶1、0.1∶1;通过X射线粉末衍射(XRD)、热重分析(TGA)、紫外可见吸收(UVVis)对其性质进行了研究,证实了准聚轮烷比相应的聚合物2有更高的热稳定性、更强的UVVis吸收以及较高的结晶能力;热分解温度随着准轮烷中CB[6]含量的增加而逐渐提高;NaBr是准聚轮烷的优良的沉淀剂.  相似文献

The construction of a square-wave-shaped one-dimensional polyrotaxane using a preorganized L-shaped [3]pseudorotaxane and metal ion is reported. A phenanthroline derivative having two N -(3-pyridylmethyl)-1,4-butanediammonium "arms" was synthesized as a preorganized L-shaped ligand. This L-shaped ligand easily forms a stable [3]pseudorotaxane incorporating cucurbituril (CB[6]). The reaction of the [3]pseudorotaxane with Ni(II) or Zn(II) ion produces a square-wave-shaped one-dimensional-polyrotaxane.  相似文献

Magnetic and fluorescent assemblies of iron‐oxide nanoparticles (NPs) were constructed by threading a viologen‐based ditopic ligand, DPV2+, into the cavity of cucurbituril (CB[7]) macrocycles adsorbed on the surface of the NPs. Evidence for the formation of 1:2 inclusion complexes that involve DPV2+ and two CB[7] macrocycles was first obtained in solution by 1H NMR and emission spectroscopy. DPV2+ was found to induce self‐assembly of nanoparticle arrays (DPV2+?CB[7]NPs) by bridging CB[7] molecules on different NPs. The resulting viologen‐crosslinked iron‐oxide nanoparticles exhibited increased saturation magnetization and emission properties. This facile supramolecular approach to NP self‐assembly provides a platform for the synthesis of smart and innovative materials that can achieve a high degree of functionality and complexity and that are needed for a wide range of applications.  相似文献

A novel fluorescent complex {(UO(2))(2)(CB5)}(NO(3))(4)·4HNO(3).3H(2)O (U2CB5) is obtained from cucurbit[5]uril (CB5) and uranyl nitrate under ambient temperature conditions. The crystal structure revealed that two uranyl ions are coordinated to the two open portals of CB5 giving a closed molecular capsule, which further connected through CB5 molecules to give two-dimensional frameworks. The U2CB5 complex was further investigated by NMR, FTIR and TGA techniques. The Fluorescence of uranyl ion was found to be enhanced due to complexation with cucurbituril.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and X‐ray crystal structure of a cucurbituril–triptycene chimeric receptor ( 1 ). Host 1 binds to guests typical of CB[6]–CB[8], but also binds to larger guests such as blue box ( 20 ) and the Fujita square ( 22 ). Intriguingly, the geometries of the 1 ? 20 and 1 ? 22 complexes blur the lines between host and guest in that both components fulfill both roles within each complex. The fluorescence output of 1 is fully quenched by the formation of complexes with pyridinium‐derived guests.  相似文献

We determined the values of Ka for a wide range of host-guest complexes of cucurbit[n]uril (CB[n]), where n = 6-8, using 1H NMR competition experiments referenced to absolute binding constants measured by UV/vis titration. We find that the larger homologues--CB[7] and CB[8]--individually maintain the size, shape, and functional group selectivity that typifies the recognition behavior of CB[6]. The cavity of CB[7] is found to effectively host trimethylsilyl groups. Remarkably, the values of Ka for the interaction of CB[7] with adamantane derivatives 22-24 exceeds 10(12) M(-1)! The high levels of selectivity observed for each CB[n] individually is also observed for the CB[n] family collectively. That is, the selectivities of CB[6], CB[7], and CB[8] toward a common guest can be remarkably large. For example, guests 1, 3, and 11 prefer CB[8] relative to CB[7] by factors greater than 10(7), 10(6), and 3000, respectively. Conversely, guests 23 and 24 prefer CB[7] relative to CB[8] by factors greater than 5100 and 990, respectively. The high levels of selectivity observed individually and collectively for the CB[n] family renders them prime components for the preparation of functional biomimetic self-sorting systems.  相似文献

Mechanically interlocked molecules incorporating cucurbituril (CB[6]) as a molecular 'bead' and their supramolecular assemblies are described. An efficient synthesis of 1D, 2D and 3D polyrotaxanes with high structural regularity and molecular necklaces has been achieved by a combination of self-assembly and coordination chemistry. The functional aspects of these interlocked molecules and their supramolecular assemblies, including molecular machines and switches based on [2]rotaxanes, a 2D polyrotaxane with large cavities and channels, pseudorotaxane-terminated dendrimers, and interaction of pseudorotaxanes containing polyamines and CB[6] with DNA are also described.  相似文献

We describe a new strategy to control the reactivity of Se?Se bond by using supramolecular chemistry of cucurbituril. We have demonstrated that selenocystamine (SeCy) and cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6]) can form a stable supramolecular complex (Ka=5.5×106 M ?1). Before complexation, the free Se?Se bond in SeCy is rather sensitive to redox stimuli and gets disrupted quickly with addition of reductant or oxidant. However, after binding with CB[6], the Se?Se bond becomes quite inert and hardly reacts with reductant or oxidant. One advantage of this supramolecular protection is that it can be applied in a wide pH range from weakly acidic to basic. Additionally, the supramolecular complex formed by SeCy and CB[6] can be reversibly dissociated simply with addition of Ba2+.  相似文献

The encapsulation of cisplatin by cucurbit[7]uril (Q[7]) and multinuclear platinum complexes linked via a 4,4'-dipyrazolylmethane (dpzm) ligand by Q[7] and cucurbit[8]uril (Q[8]) has been studied by NMR spectroscopy and molecular modelling. The NMR studies suggest that some cisplatin binds in the cucurbituril cavity, while cis-[PtCl(NH3)2(H2O)]+ only binds at the portals. Alternatively, the dpzm-linked multinuclear platinum complexes are quantitatively encapsulated within the cavities of both Q[7] and Q[8]. Upon encapsulation, the non-exchangeable proton resonances of the multinuclear platinum complexes show significant upfield shifts in 1H NMR spectra. The H3/H3* resonances shift upfield by 0.08 to 0.55 ppm, the H5/H5* shift by 0.9 to 1.6 ppm, while the methylene resonances shift by 0.74 to 0.88 ppm. The size of the resonance shift is dependent on the cavity size of the encapsulating cucurbituril, with Q[7] encapsulation producing larger shifts than Q[8]. The upfield shifts of the dpzm resonances observed upon cucurbituril encapsulation indicate that the Q[7] or Q[8] is positioned directly over the dpzm linking ligand. The terminal platinum groups of trans-[{PtCl(NH3)2}2 mu-dpzm]2+ (di-Pt) and trans-[trans-{PtCl(NH3)2}2-trans-{Pt(dpzm)2(NH3)2}]4+ (tri-Pt) provide a barrier to the on and off movement of cucurbituril, resulting in binding kinetics that are slow on the NMR timescale for the metal complex. Although the dpzm ligand has relatively few rotamers, encapsulation by the larger Q[8] resulted in a more compact di-Pt conformation with each platinum centre retracted further into each Q[8] portal. Encapsulation of the hydrolysed forms of di-Pt and tri-Pt is considerably slower than for the corresponding Cl forms, presumably due to the high-energy cost of passing the +2 platinum centres through the cucurbituril portals. The results of this study suggest that cucurbiturils could be suitable hosts for the pharmacological delivery of multinuclear platinum complexes.  相似文献

The effect of encapsulation by cucurbiturils Q[7] and Q[8] on the rate of reaction of the anti-cancer dinuclear platinum complex trans-[{PtCl(NH3)2}2(micro-NH2(CH2)8NH2)]2+ with the model biological nucleophiles glutathione and cysteine has been examined by NMR spectroscopy. It was expected that the octamethylene linking chain would fold inside the cucurbituril host and hence position the reactive platinum centres close to the cucurbituril portals, and thereby, confer resistance to degradation by biological nucleophiles. The upfield shifts of the resonances from the methylene protons in the linking ligand observed in 1H NMR spectra of the platinum complex upon addition of either Q[7] or Q[8] indicate that the cucurbituril is positioned over the linking ligand, with the Pt(II) centres projecting out of the portal. Furthermore, the relative changes in chemical shift of the methylene resonances suggest that the octamethylene linking chain folds within the cucurbituril cavity, particularly in Q[8]. Simple molecular models, based on the observed relative changes in chemical shift, could be constructed that were consistent with the proposed folding of the linking ligand within the cucurbituril cavity. Encapsulation by Q[7] was found to reduce the rate of reaction of the platinum complex with glutathione. Encapsulation by Q[7] and Q[8] was also found to reduce the rate of reaction of the platinum complex with cysteine, with Q[8] slowing the reaction to a greater extent than Q[7], consistent with the inferred encapsulation geometries. Encapsulation of dinuclear platinum complexes within the cucurbituril cavity may provide a novel way of reducing the reactivity and degradation of these promising chemotherapeutic agents with blood plasma proteins.  相似文献

Two symmetric amphiphilic imidazolium ionic liquids having ω-undecenyl chains form supramolecular complexes with CB[7] and CB[8] in water as revealed by 1H NMR spectroscopy and MALDI-MS. Binding constants in the range 104 to 105 M?1 were estimated from the conductivity measurements for the 1:1 complexes of these imidazolium ionic liquids with CB[7] and CB[8]. Radical initiated polymerization of these host–guest complexes at concentrations above the critical self-assembly concentration of imidazolium ionic liquids to form liposomes, destroys completely (CB[7]) or partially (CB[8]) the host–guest ionic liquid@CB[n] complex; this behaviour was proved by titration with acridine orange tricyclic dye, of CB[n]s in the colloidal solutions of the liposomes before and after performing dialysis to remove free CB[n]s. Thus, the increase in the fluorescence emission of acridine orange by CB[7] is not observed if the polymerized ionic liquid@CB[7] complex is submitted to dialysis to remove uncomplexed CB[7]. Analogous study by titration of absorbance change of acridine orange solutions caused by CB[8], reveals only a partial destruction of the host–guest complex by self-assembly of amphiphilic ionic liquid above the critical self-assembly concentration. The results obtained have been rationalized considering that the driving force for the formation of supramolecular ionic liquid@CB[n] complexes is a hydrophobic interaction between the apolar alkenyl chain and the cucurbituril interior cavity and that these hydrophobic interactions are disturbed when self-assembly leading to liposomes occurs.  相似文献

The derivatization of 3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole with a diamino-alkyl anchor affords a fluorescent dye suitable for indicator displacement from cucurbituril macrocycles. The novel compound 1 shows, due to a complexation-induced pKa shift, a large and predictable dual fluorescence response (100-fold increase at 375 nm and 9-fold decrease at 458 nm) upon supramolecular encapsulation and a strong affinity for cation-receptor macrocycles, in particular cucurbit[6]uril (CB6). A direct application is presented by monitoring the enzymatic activity of lysine decarboxylase.  相似文献
