Our (e,3-1e) measurements for studying the post-collision interaction (PCI) after electron impact inner shell ionization of argon were continued and completed at different energy conditions. Emitted LMM Auger electrons are detected in coincidence with the ionizing scattered electrons and the energy of the slow PCI inducer ejected electron was calculated from energy conservation. Particularly the effect of the very low energy (i.e. 0–5 eV) ejected electrons (strongly asymmetric energy sharing) is studied at 500 and 460 eV primary electron energies. In the latter case, the background caused by outer-shell electrons was measured by itself and then removed from the coincident spectrum. Nevertheless, the evaluation of PCI distorted Auger lines is still considerably disturbed by the resonant Auger electrons from the high Rydberg states, their (e,2e) contribution was estimated in the paper.  相似文献

The trapping and acceleration of nonmonoenergetic electron bunches in a wake field wave excited by a laser pulse in a plasma channel is studied. Electrons are injected into the region of the wake wave potential maximum at a velocity lower than the phase velocity of the wave. The paper analyzes the grouping of bunch electrons in the energy space emerging in the course of acceleration under certain conditions of their injection into the wake wave and minimizing the energy spread for such electrons. The factors determining the minimal energy spread between bunch electrons are analyzed. The possibility of monoenergetic acceleration of electron bunches generated by modern injectors in a wake wave is analyzed.  相似文献

In degenerate quantum plasma the energy behavior of electrostatic modes propagating perpendicular to the external magnetic field is studied by employing the separated spin evolution quantum hydrodynamic (SSE-QHD) model. This model reveals that spin electron cyclotron wave (SECW) appears additionally with the upper hybrid wave (UHW). In case of SECW, the curves for the energy flow speed at different levels of spin polarization effect flip over at a particular value of wave number. The spin polarization effect enhances the energy flow speed before this value of wave number and then suppresses it afterward. The energy flow speed is enhanced by spin polarization effect in the entire range of wave number for the propagation of UHW. The Bohm potential effect drastically increases the energy flow speed at high wave number domain in both the waves. This study may find its applications to understand the energy behavior inspin polarized solid state plasmas  相似文献

采用单电子模型和经典辐射理论分别对低能和高能电子在线偏振激光驻波场中的运动和辐射过程进行了研究. 结果表明: 垂直于激光电场方向入射的低速电子在激光驻波场中随着光强的增大, 逐渐从一维近周期运动演变为二维折叠运动, 并产生强的微米量级波长的太赫兹辐射; 高能电子垂直或者平行于激光电场方向入射到激光驻波场中, 都会产生波长在几个纳米的高频辐射; 低能电子与激光驻波场作用中, 激光强度影响着电子的运动形式、辐射频率以及辐射强度; 高能电子入射时, 激光强度影响了电子高频辐射的强度, 电子初始能量影响着辐射的频率; 电子能量越高, 产生的辐射频率越大. 研究表明可以由激光加速电子的方式得到不同能量的电子束, 并利用电子束在激光驻波场的辐射使之成为太赫兹和X射线波段的小型辐射源. 研究结果可以为实验研究和利用激光驻波场中的电子辐射提供依据.  相似文献

A test electron beam is propagated in a specially designed traveling wave tube. It interacts with a nonresonant wave, and its energy distribution is recorded at the tube output. We report the direct experimental observation of the spatially periodic electron velocity bunching, and of a nonlinear effect on the electron velocity modulation: the synchronization of the particles with the wave responsible for Landau damping in plasma physics. The results are explained by second order perturbation theory in the wave amplitude.  相似文献

以氮气为背景气体,采用脉冲式微波产生等离子体,使用另外一束连续波作为传输模拟对象,并基于扩散效应的全域模型分析等离子体电子温度与电子密度的演化过程。实验中放电气压为300Pa,实验结果表明:在微波脉冲开始之后极短的时间内,连续波接受信号发生剧烈衰减;而在微波脉冲结束后,连续波接受信号则缓慢恢复。微波传输主要受到等离子体电子密度的影响,而全域模型的计算结果显示等离子体电子密度在开始放电时迅速上升,甚至高于放电微波频率对应的临界密度,在放电微波脉冲结束时电子密度则缓慢下降。这说明开放空间中等离子体在失去能量维持之后,由于扩散效应占主导作用,电子密度不会迅速下降,此时连续波依然会被阻碍,直到电子密度下降到连续波频率对应的临界密度以下。  相似文献

Results of theoretical and experimental investigations into a relativistic backward wave oscillator with a modulating resonant reflector are generalized. The modulating resonant reflector is used to reflect a counter propagating wave and guide it toward an electron collector. It is shown that premodulation of the electron beam near the reflector may have a significant effect on the starting conditions of oscillation; selective properties of the oscillator; and its efficiency, which may reach 40% when a high-current beam is transported by a strong magnetic field. In the reduced magnetic fields that were employed in the pulsed-periodic regime and were 1.5–2.0 times lower than those at which cyclotron resonance with the counter propagating wave is observed, the oscillator efficiency (30–35% at a wavelength of 8 mm) is limited by position and velocity spreads of particles. Mechanical pulsewise frequency tuning within about 10% at a repetition rate of 1–50 Hz and a multigigawatt microwave power, as well as a rise in the power and energy of microwave pulses via an increase in the cross-sectional dimensions of the slow-wave structure, are demonstrated to be feasible.  相似文献

The interaction of ions with matter plays an important role in the treatment of material surfaces. In this paper we study the effect of argon ion bombardment on the InSb surface in comparison with the InP one. The Ar+ ions, accelerated at low energy (300 eV) lead to compositional and structural changes in InP and InSb compounds. The InP surface is more sensitive to Ar+ ions than that of InSb. These results are directly inferred from the qualitative Auger electron spectra (AES) and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) analysis. However, these techniques alone do not allow us to determine with accuracy the disturbed depth in Ar+ ions of InP and InSb compounds. For this reason, we combine AES and EELS with the simulation method TRIM (transport and range of ions in matter) to show the mechanism of interaction between the ions and the InP or InSb and hence determine the disturbed depth as a function of Ar+ energy.  相似文献

The problem of the nonlinear structuring of the modified ionosphere due to the self-focusing of the pump wave on the bunches of striations is investigated. Two main conditions of self-focusing are formulated: (1) propagation of the pump wave quite along the magnetic field for effective excitation of striations, and (2) trapping of the pump wave by large-scale irregularities. It is shown that both conditions can be easily satisfied for small inclination angles α of the magnetic field to the vertical. A detailed study of the low latitude case was performed using model calculations of the pump wave propagation. It is shown that at low latitudes self-focusing conditions also can be satisfied but mostly for the special form of the large-scale irregularities and mostly in the southern part of the pump wave beam. These results may reconcile apparent differences between radiowave and rocket probing of the irregularities.  相似文献

自由电子激光器要求高亮度、低能散度的电子束注入波荡器(Undulator)。本文叙述提供高亮度电子束的高频电子直线加速器中的注入器部分的设计计算。注入器由L波段(1300MHz)的十二分频和三分频两个谐振腔预聚束器和一个基波频率的变相速聚束器组成。粒子运动方程中考虑了空间电荷效应和束流负载效应。电子枪的注入参数:脉冲宽度T=4ns;电流I=5A;电子的初始动能E_0=100keV;电子束分布为高斯型。参数优化设计结果:单束团宽度小于25ps,峰值电流达400A以上,电子的平均归一化能量>4,束团内的能量差小于200keV。  相似文献

讨论了电荷屏蔽效应对WS15M前身星模型瞬时爆发能量的影响,对电子俘获率的计算基于平均重核模型,数值模拟表明电荷屏蔽降低了电子俘获率,延长了爆发时间,使中微子泄漏的总能量增加,从而导致激波的能量略微降低.给出的方法可以适用于其他考虑电荷屏蔽效应的超新星数值模拟. 关键词: 超新星 瞬时爆发 数值模拟 电荷屏蔽  相似文献

On the basis of the conservation laws for the energy and the z component of the momentum in a self magnetic insulation wave propagating in a vacuum transmission line, the relativistic factor γm corresponding to the voltage at the outer boundary of the electron sheath is found under the assumption that all electrons incident to the anode have identical energies and identical angles of incidence. The effect of energy losses in the precursor wave on basic properties of the self magnetic insulation wave is investigated.  相似文献

When an electromagnetic (EM) wave has a large amplitude and electrons have a large energy, the electron cyclotron frequency in the process of interaction with an EM wave can vary significantly. This can lead to overlapping of cyclotron resonances at different harmonics. It is shown that such an overlapping causes the stochasticity of electron orbits. Estimates show that this effect can be present in relativistic gyrodevices currently under development for driving future accelerators.  相似文献

We experimentally investigated the dynamics of ionization processes and the formation of a plasma wave channel during the interaction of intense microwave pulses with a magnetized inhomogeneous plasma in the presence of hybrid resonance. Exact expressions are obtained for the energy of an electron in the field of a circularly polarized plane electromagnetic wave and a constant magnetic field with allowance for boundary conditions in the case of self-resonance for a medium with refractive index of unity. These expressions can be used to represent in explicit form the dependence of the change in the electron energy on the length of the interaction region and determine the conditions for reflection of particles. 二次电子发射直接影响法拉第探测器测量质子束流的精度,减小或消除二次电子发射的影响是提高束流测量精度的关键。根据二次电子补偿原理设计了二次电子补偿型同轴法拉第探测器,实验发现探测器测量质子束流强度时不能完全实现二次电子补偿。为改进和完善探测器的设计,从理论上分析了补偿片未能完全消除二次电子对束流测量影响的原因,是由于补偿片前向发射二次电子数目大于收集极后向发射二次电子数目所致。为此设计了质子束穿过金属箔发射二次电子测量装置,测量得到能量为5~10MeV质子穿过10μm厚铜箔时前向与后向发射二次电子产额,验证了理论分析的正确性。  相似文献

对聚酯材料在电子束辐照下的动力学效应进行了研究。采用Monte Carlo方法,计算了脉冲电子束在聚酯材料中的能量沉积;采用流体动力学方法,对聚酯材料在电子束辐照下的热击波和喷射冲量进行了数值模拟;采用将喷射冲量和热击波压力的数值结果与实验测量结果进行逼近的方法,得到了聚酯材料的升华能约为1.1 kJ/g,Grüneisen系数的常态值约为0.2。  相似文献

把金属平板前非均匀等离子体层简化为分层均匀的平板模型,采用等效输入阻抗方法,计算大气或真空边界入射波的总功率反射系数,分析其影响因素.计算结果表明:电子数密度大 小、等离子体层厚度、入射波频率和入射角是功率反射系数的主要影响因素,适当调整其中任何一个,都可以达到降低功率反射系数的效果.在低频段,电子数密度的分布对功率反射系数几乎没有影响;在高频段,电子数密度的分布对功率反射系数有影响.等离子体厚度、入射波频率、电子数密度分布对功率反射系数的影响几乎与波的极化方向无关. 关键词: 等离子体 电磁波 传输  相似文献
