基于颗粒材料冲击与波动响应特性的调控波传播行为的超材料设计受到广泛关注,设计这类材料需要对颗粒材料的波传播机制及调控机理有深入认识. 波在颗粒材料中传播的频散现象及频率带隙等行为与材料的非均匀性密切相关,通常讨论频散现象是基于弹性理论框架建立微结构连续体或高阶梯度连续体等广义连续体模型来进行. 本研究基于细观力学给出了一个颗粒材料的微形态连续体模型. 在该模型中,考虑了颗粒的平动和转动,且颗粒间的相对运动分解为两部分:即宏观平均运动和细观真实运动. 基于此分解,提出了一个完备的变形模式,得到了对应于不同应变及颗粒间运动的宏细观本构关系. 结合宏观变形能的细观变形能求和表达式,获得了基于细观量表示的宏观本构模量. 应用所建议模型考察了波在弹性颗粒介质的传播行为,给出了不同形式的波的频散曲线,结果显示此模型具有预测频率带隙的能力.   相似文献

Shear to longitudinal mode conversion via second harmonic generation is studied theoretically and computationally for plane waves in a two-dimensional, adhesive, hexagonally close-packed microscale granular medium. The model includes translational and rotational degrees of freedom, as well as normal and shear contact interactions. We consider fundamental frequency plane waves in all three linear modes, which have infinite spatial extent and travel in one of the high-symmetry crystal directions. The generated second harmonic waves are longitudinal for all cases. For the lower transverse–rotational mode, an analytical expression for the second harmonic amplitude, which is derived using a successive approximations approach, reveals the presence of particular resonant and antiresonant wave numbers, the latter of which is prohibited if rotations are not included in the model. By simulating a lattice with adhesive contact force laws, we study the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis for non-resonant, resonant, and antiresonant cases. This work is suitable for the analysis of microscale and statically compressed macroscale granular media, and should inspire future studies on nonlinear two- and three-dimensional granular systems in which interparticle shear coupling and particle rotations play a significant role.  相似文献

A study is made of waves in a Cosserat continuum, whose strain state is characterized by independent displacement and rotation vectors. The propagation of longitudinal and transverse bulk waves is considered. Wave solutions are sought in the form of wave trains specified by a Fourier spectrum of arbitrary shape. It is shown that if the solution is sought in the form of three components of the displacement vector and three components of the rotation vector which depend on time and the longitudinal coordinate, the initial system is split into two systems, one of which describes longitudinal waves, and the other transverse waves. For waves of both types, dispersion relations and analytical solutions in displacement are obtained. The problem of propagation of a Lamb elastic wave in a thin plate is considered using the Cosserat continuum model. The deformed state is characterized by independent displacement and rotation vectors. Solutions of the equations of motion are sought in the form of wave packets specified by a Fourier spectrum of an arbitrary shape for three components of the displacement vector and three components of the rotation vector which depend on time, depth, and the longitudinal coordinate. The initial system of equations is split into two systems, one of which describes a Lamb wave and the second corresponds to a transverse wave whose amplitude depends on depth. Analytical solutions in displacements are obtained for the waves of both types. Unlike the solution for Lamb waves, the solution obtained for the transverse wave has no analogs in classical elasticity theory. 基于孔隙介质的Biot理论1,研究了横观各向同性液体饱和多孔介质中平面波的传播特性。首先导出了波传播的特征方程并给出了其解析解,结果显示:有4种不同波速的平面体波传播;第一准纵波,第二准纵波,准横波和反平面横波。文中给出了波速和衰减的解析表达式,数值计算了频散曲线和衰减曲线,并讨论了各类准体波位移之间的耦合关系。  相似文献

The reflection and transmission of the thermo-elastic coupled waves at an interface of two different couple stress elastic solids are studied in this paper. Based on the Green-Lindsay theory, the governing equations and the constitutive equations are derived. Different from the classic elastic solid, the interface conditions include the surface couple, the rotation angle, the heat flux and the temperature change. The interface conditions are used to obtain the linear algebraic equations set from which the amplitude ratios of reflection and transmission waves to the incident wave can be determined. Then, the normal energy flux conservation is used to validate the numerical results. At last, the influences of two characteristic relaxation times and the five kinds of thermally and micromechanically interface conditions are discussed based on the numerical results. It is found that the thermal wave effects affect only the longitudinal wave while the couple stress effects affect only the transverse waves. The thermo-elastic coupling makes the longitudinal wave and the thermal wave not only dispersive but also attenuated.  相似文献

The mixture theory is employed to the analysis of surface-wave propagation in a porous medium saturated by two compressible and viscous fluids (liquid and gas). A linear isothermal dynamic model is implemented which takes into account the interaction between the pore fluids and the solid phase of the porous material through viscous dissipation. In such unsaturated cases, the dispersion equations of Rayleigh and Love waves are derived respectively. Two situations for the Love waves are discussed in detail: (a) an elastic layer lying over an unsaturated porous half-space and (b) an unsaturated porous layer lying over an elastic half-space. The wave analysis indicates that, to the three compressional waves discovered in the unsaturated porous medium, there also correspond three Rayleigh wave modes (R1, R2, and R3 waves) propagating along its free surface. The numerical results demonstrate a significant dependence of wave velocities and attenuation coefficients of the Rayleigh and Love waves on the saturation degree, excitation frequency and intrinsic permeability. The cut-off frequency of the high order mode of Love waves is also found to be dependent on the saturation degree.  相似文献

Many papers study the steady wave system around bodies moving in thermoclines but little attention has been given to unsteady wave systems. This paper concentrates on the unsteady wave systems around accelerating bodies in thermoclines. The wave shapes are calculated using a theory derived from a dispersion relation based on an exp-tanh density profile. All modes of oscillation can be determined and it is shown that for the lowest mode both oblique and transverse waves occur whereas for the higher modes the presence of transverse waves depends on the background conditions and on the speed of the body. Cauchy-Poisson impulsive start waves are included. The theoretical wave shapes compare quite well with those calculated using finite-difference formulations of the full Navier-Stokes equations when a body accelerates from rest.It is also shown how the dispersion relation =N sin together with the WKB approximation can produce the same plan-view wave forms as those obtained using the thermocline wave dispersion relation given by [17, 30].  相似文献

The theory of plane waves in nonlinear materials described by the Murnaghan potential is proposed. The theory takes into account both the classical quadratic nonlinearity and the cubic nonlinearity of the basic wave equations. Some new opportunities for the wave interaction analysis are commented on: in addition to the second harmonics, a longitudinal plane wave generates the third one, a transverse plane wave generates the third harmonics, and horizontally and vertically polarized transverse plane waves jointly generate new waves  相似文献

A two-dimensional (2D) model of a granular medium is represented as a square lattice consisting of elastically interacting round particles possessing one rotational and two translational degrees of freedom. The differential equations describing propagation and interaction of waves of various types in such a medium have been derived in the long-wavelength approximation. Accounting for microrotations of the particles and moment interactions between them leads to the consideration of so-called microrotation waves (spin waves). In the absence of microrotations, the governing equations degenerate into 2D Lamé equations for anisotropic media. A one-to-one correspondence has been established between the microstructure parameters and effective elasticity constants of the second-order. Dependence of elasticity constants on the size of grains has been analyzed. The proposed model is compared in the continuous approximation to the equations of the 2D Cosserat continuum possessing macroscopic anisotropy.  相似文献

Based on the poroelasticity theory, this article investigates the reflection and transmission characteristics of an incident plane transverse wave at a plane interface between an isotropic elastic half-space and an unsaturated poroelastic solid half-space. For this purpose, the effect of the saturation degree and frequency on the properties of the four bulk waves in unsaturated porous medium, i.e., three longitudinal waves and one transverse wave, are discussed at first. Two general cases of mode conversion are considered: (i) The initial transverse wave is incident from an unsaturated poroelastic half-space to the interface, and (ii) the initial transverse wave is incident from an elastic solid half-space to the interface. The expressions for the partition of energy at the interface during transmission and reflection process of waves are presented in explicit forms. At last, numerical computations are performed for these two cases and the results obtained are depicted, respectively. The variation of the amplitude ratios and energy ratios with the saturation degree and incident angle is illustrated in detail. It is also verified that, at the interface, the sum of energy ratios is approximately equal to unity as expected.  相似文献

A two-dimensional model of a granular medium is represented as a square lattice composed of elastically interacting round particles with translational and rotational degrees of freedom. In the long-wave approximation, we derive linear partial differential equations describing the propagation and interaction of waves of various types in such a medium. If microrotations of particles in the lattice and the related moment interactions are taken into account, then a microrotation wave (a spin wave) appears in the medium. We establish the one-to-one correspondence between the parameters of the microstructure and the elastic constants of second order. We analyze the dependence of the medium elasticity constants on the grain dimensions. In the continuum approximation, we compare the model proposed here with the model of two-dimensional Cosserat continuum.  相似文献

The problem of reflection and transmission of plane waves incident on the contact surface of an elastic solid and an electro-microstretch generalized thermoelastic solid is discussed. It is found that there exist five reflected waves, i.e., longitudinal displacement (LD) wave, thermal (T) wave, longitudinal microstretch (LM) wave and two coupled transverse displacement and microrotational (CD(I) and CD(II)) waves in the electro-microstretch generalized thermoelastic solid, and two transmitted waves, i.e., longitudinal (P) and transverse (SV) waves in the elastic solid. The amplitude ratios of different reflected and transmitted waves are obtained for an imperfect boundary and deduced for normal force stiffness, transverse force stiffness, and perfect bonding. The variations of amplitude ratios with incidence angles have been depicted graphically for the LD wave and the CD(I) wave. It is noticed that the amplitude ratios of reflected and transmitted waves are affected by the stiffness, electric field, stretch, and thermal properties of the media. Some particular interest cases have been deduced from the present investigations.  相似文献

给出了磁场、热场和弹性场多场耦合作用下微极广义热弹性固体的一般控制方程.该方 程既包含了磁场、热场和弹性场的耦合作用,又在其广义热传导方程中涵盖了耦合热弹理论 (C-D)及其5类推广(L-S理论,G-L理论,G-N(II,III)理论和C-T理论).运用该微极广义磁热 弹性控制方程,研究了在定常磁场作用下, 具有均匀初始温度的两理想接触微极弹性介质平面分界面上磁热弹性波的反射和折射现象.给出了分别在缺少磁场、热场作用或不同广义热传 导理论下反射或折射热波、纵向位移波、耦合横向和微旋转波与入射纵向位移波的振幅比随 入射角变化的关系曲线.对缺少磁、热和微极性以及热松弛时间时对应的反射、折射系数进 行了对比.结果表明磁、热和微极性以及热松弛时间对振幅比均有不同程度的影 响,与磁、热和微极性一样,热松弛时间对不同类型波的影响能力差别明显,但对同 一类型的反射波和折射波的影响相似.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the wave propagation and their reflection and transmission from a plane interface between two different electro-microelastic solid half-spaces in perfect contact. It is found that there exist five basic waves in an infinite electro-microelastic solid, namely an independent longitudinal micro-rotational wave, two sets of coupled longitudinal waves influenced by the electric effect, and two sets of coupled transverse waves. The existence of the two sets of coupled longitudinal waves is new. In the absence of microstretch and electric effects, these two coupled longitudinal waves reduce to a longitudinal displacement wave of micropolar elasticity. Amplitude and energy ratios of various reflected and transmitted waves are presented when (i) a set of coupled longitudinal wave is made incident and (ii) a set of coupled transverse wave is made incident. Numerical computations have been performed for a particular model and the variations of amplitude and energy ratios are obtained against the angle of incidence. The results obtained are depicted graphically. It has been verified that the sum of energy ratios is equal to unity at the interface and the amplitude ratios of reflected and transmitted waves depend upon the angle of incidence, frequency and elastic properties of the media. Results of some earlier workers have also been reduced from the present formulation.  相似文献

It is shown that, in the planar case, the system of constitutive equations of the linear elasticity theory should contain five independent equations. In the classical theory, only three equations are formulated, while the other two are contained in implicit form in the postulate of diffeomorphism, which is the assumption of smoothness of the displacement field. A closed elasticity model is constructed without the assumption of diffeomorphism, and it contains a structural parameter having a dimension of length. It is shown that, in a static version, macrodeformations depend on stresses and second derivatives of stresses with respect to the coordinates, while there is dispersion of longitudinal and transverse waves in the dynamics.  相似文献

The features of propagation of longitudinal and transverse waves (LW and TW) in fractured porous medium (FPM) saturated with liquid are investigated by methods of multiphase mechanics. The mathematical model of FPM accounting for inequality of velocities and pressures of liquid in pores and fractures, liquid mass exchange and nonstationary interaction forces is developed. Processes of monochromatic wave propagation are studied. The dispersion relation is obtained and the effect of model parameters on wave propagation is analysed. It is established that one transverse and three longitudinal waves propagate in FPM saturated with liquid. The fastest LW is a deformational wave and the two others are filtrational. Filtrational waves attenuate much stronger than deformational and transverse waves. Distinction of velocities and pressures in liquid in various pore systems provides an explanation for the existence of the two filtrational waves in porous medium with two different characteristic sizes of pores.  相似文献

研究了流体饱和不可压标准线性粘弹性多孔介质中平面波的传播和反射问题.在固相骨架小变形的假定下,得到了粘弹性多孔介质中波动方程的一般解,讨论了弥散关系和波的衰减特性.结果表明:在流体饱和不可压粘弹性多孔介质中,仅存在一个耦合纵波和一个耦合横波,纵波和横波的波速、衰减率等取决于孔隙流体与固相骨架间的相互作用以及固相骨架本身的粘性.同时,研究了半空间自由边界上入射波(纵波、横波)的反射问题。得到了非均匀反射波的波速、反射系数、衰减率等的表达式及其相关的数值结果.  相似文献
