This paper is intended to study the vector variational inequalities on Hadamard manifolds. Generalized Minty and Stampacchia vector variational inequalities are introduced involving generalized subdifferential. Under strongly geodesic convexity, relations between solutions of these inequalities and a nonsmooth vector optimization problem are established. To illustrate the relationship between a solution of generalized weak Stampacchia vector variational inequality and weak efficiency of a nonsmooth vector optimization problem, a non-trivial example is presented.  相似文献

We consider weak sharp solutions for the generalized variational inequality problem, in which the underlying mapping is set-valued, and not necessarily monotone. We extend the concept of weak sharpness to this more general framework, and establish some of its characterizations. We establish connections between weak sharpness and (1) gap functions for variational inequalities, and (2) global error bound. When the solution set is weak sharp, we prove finite convergence of the sequence generated by an arbitrary algorithm, for the monotone set-valued case, as well as for the case in which the underlying set-valued map is either Lipschitz continuous in the set-valued sense, for infinite dimensional spaces, or inner-semicontinuous when the space is finite dimensional.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a weak sharp set of solutions to a variational inequality problem (VIP) in a reflexive, strictly convex and smooth Banach space, and present its several equivalent conditions. We also prove, under some continuity and monotonicity assumptions, that if any sequence generated by an algorithm for solving (VIP) converges to a weak sharp solution, then we can obtain solutions for (VIP) by solving a finite number of convex optimization subproblems with linear objective. Moreover, in order to characterize finite convergence of an iterative algorithm, we introduce the notion of a weak subsharp set of solutions to a variational inequality problem (VIP), which is more general than that of weak sharp solutions in Hilbert spaces. We establish a sufficient and necessary condition for the finite convergence of an algorithm for solving (VIP) which satisfies that the sequence generated by which converges to a weak subsharp solution of (VIP), and show that the proximal point algorithm satisfies this condition. As a consequence, we prove that the proximal point algorithm possesses finite convergence whenever the sequence generated by which converges to a weak subsharp solution of (VIP).  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of differential mixed variational inequalities in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. Under various conditions, we obtain linear growth and bounded linear growth of the solution set for the mixed variational inequalities. Moreover, we present some conclusions which enrich the literature on the mixed variational inequalities and generalize the corresponding results of [4]. In particular we prove existence theorems for weak solutions of a differential mixed variational inequality in the weak sense of Carathéodory by using a result on differential inclusions involving an upper semicontinuous set-valued map with closed convex values. Also by employing the results from differential inclusions we establish a convergence result on Euler time-dependent procedure for solving initial-value differential mixed variational inequalities.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study Tikhonov regularization methods for inverse variational inequalities. A rather weak coercivity condition is given which guarantees that the solution set of regularized inverse variational inequality is nonempty and bounded. Moreover, the perturbation analysis for the solution set of regularized inverse variational inequality is established. As an application, we show that solutions of regularized inverse variational inequalities form a minimizing sequence of the D-gap function under a mild condition.  相似文献

In this article we study the structure of solution sets within a special class of generalized Stampacchia-type vector variational inequalities, defined by means of a bifunction which takes values in a partially ordered Euclidean space. It is shown that, similar to multicriteria optimization problems, under appropriate convexity assumptions, the (weak) solutions of these vector variational inequalities can be recovered by solving a family of weighted scalar variational inequalities. Consequently, it is deduced that the set of weak solutions can be decomposed into the union of the sets of strong solutions of all variational inequalities obtained from the original one by selecting certain components of the bifunction which governs it.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of differential vector variational inequalities in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. We establish a relationship between differential vector variational inequalities and differential scalar variational inequalities. Under various conditions, we obtain the existence and linear growth of solutions to the scalar variational inequalities. In particular we prove existence theorems for Carathéodory weak solutions of the differential vector variational inequalities. In this paper, we study a class of differential inverse variational inequality (for short, DIVI) in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. Firstly, under some suitable assumptions, we obtain linear growth of the solution set for the inverse variational inequalities. Secondly, we prove existence theorems for weak solutions of the DIVI in the weak sense of Carath\"{e}odory by using measurable selection lemma. Thirdly, by employing the results from differential inclusions we establish a convergence result on Euler time dependent procedure for solving the DIVI. In this paper, we introduce the notion of weak sharpness for set-valued variational inequalities in the n-dimensional Euclidean space and then present some characterizations of weak sharpness. We also give some examples to illustrate this notion. Under the assumption of weak sharpness, by using the inner limit of a set sequence we establish a sufficient and necessary condition to guarantee the finite termination of an arbitrary algorithm for solving a set-valued variational inequality involving maximal monotone mappings. As an application, we show that the sequence generated by the hybrid projection-proximal point algorithm proposed by Solodov and Svaiter terminates at solutions in a finite number of iterations. These obtained results extend some known results of classical variational inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a Minty type vector variational inequality, a Stampacchia type vector variational inequality, and the weak forms of them, which are all defined by means of subdifferentials on Hadamard manifolds. We also study the equivalent relations between the vector variational inequalities and nonsmooth convex vector optimization problems. By using the equivalent relations and an analogous to KKM lemma, we give some existence theorems for weakly efficient solutions of convex vector optimization problems under relaxed compact assumptions.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a system of vector variational inequalities and a system of nonsmooth variational inequalities defined by means of Clarke directional derivative. We also consider the Nash equilibrium problem with vector pay-offs and its scalarized form. We present some relations among these systems and problems. The existence results for a solution of system of nonsmooth variational inequalities are given. As a consequence, we derive an existence result for a solution of Nash equilibrium problem with vector pay-offs.  相似文献

In a Hilbert space, we study the finite termination of iterative methods for solving a monotone variational inequality under a weak sharpness assumption. Most results to date require that the sequence generated by the method converges strongly to a solution. In this paper, we show that the proximal point algorithm for solving the variational inequality terminates at a solution in a finite number of iterations if the solution set is weakly sharp. Consequently, we derive finite convergence results for the gradient projection and extragradient methods. Our results show that the assumption of strong convergence of sequences can be removed in the Hilbert space case.  相似文献

We study a nonlinear periodic problem driven by the p(t)-Laplacian and having a nonsmooth potential (hemivariational inequalities). Using a variational method based on nonsmooth critical point theory for locally Lipschitz functions, we first prove the existence of at least two nontrivial solutions under the generalized subquadratic and then establish the existence of at least one nontrivial solution under the generalized superquadratic.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study a class of semilinear differential variational systems with nonlocal boundary conditions, which are obtained by mixing semilinear evolution equations and generalized variational inequalities. First we prove essential properties of the solution set for generalized variational inequalities. In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions for the local uniqueness of solutions to nonsmooth variational inequalities where the underlying functions are H-differentiable and the underlying set is a closed convex set/polyhedral set/box/polyhedral cone. We show how the solution of a linearized variational inequality is related to the solution of the variational inequality. These results extend/unify various similar results proved for C 1 and locally Lipschitzian variational inequality problems. When specialized to the nonlinear complementarity problem, our results extend/unify those of C 2 and C 1 nonlinear complementarity problems.  相似文献
