In this article, we reconsider the mixed boundary value problem on the unit circle for a pair of metaanalytic and analytic functions as in Du and Wang (2008) [9]. By adopting appropriate transformations, we convert the problem into two independent boundary value problems for analytic functions. We then obtain expressions of solution and condition of solvability for the mixed boundary value problem. The forms of the solutions and the condition of solvability here are rather dissimilar to those in Du and Wang (2008) [9]. But the equivalence is established at the end of this article.  相似文献

Mixed boundary value problems are characterised by a combination of Dirichlet and Neumann conditions along at least one boundary. Historically, only a very small subset of these problems could be solved using analytic series methods (“analytic” is taken here to mean a series whose terms are analytic in the complex plane). In the past, series solutions were obtained by using an appropriate choice of axes, or a co-ordinate transformation to suitable axes where the boundaries are parallel to the abscissa and the boundary conditions are separated into pure Dirichlet or Neumann form. In this paper, I will consider the more general problem where the mixed boundary conditions cannot be resolved by a co-ordinate transformation. That is, a Dirichlet condition applies on part of the boundary and a Neumann condition applies along the remaining section. I will present a general method for obtaining analytic series solutions for the classic problem where the boundary is parallel to the abscissa. In addition, I will extend this technique to the general mixed boundary value problem, defined on an arbitrary boundary, where the boundary is not parallel to the abscissa. I will demonstrate the efficacy of the method on a well known seepage problem.  相似文献

We consider extremal problems for the time-harmonic Maxwell equations with mixed boundary conditions for the electric field. Namely, the tangential component of the electric field is given on one part of the boundary, and an impedance boundary condition is posed on the other part. We prove the solvability of the original mixed boundary value problem and the extremal problem. We obtain sufficient conditions on the input data ensuring the stability of solutions of specific extremal problems under certain perturbations of both the performance functional and some functions occurring in the boundary value problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a mixed boundary value problem to a class of nonlinear operators containing $p(\cdot )$-Laplacian. More precisely, we are concerned with the problem with the Dirichlet condition on a part of the boundary and the Steklov boundary condition on an another part of the boundary. The main purpose of this note is to consider the generalized Carleman boundary value problem for the elliptic equations with constant coefficients of the second type in the simple connected domain of complex plane. 在文章中提出了带位移的广义Hilbert问题,并对这一问题建立了Noether性条件。在文章中又利用带位移的奇异积分方程理论得到了这一问题可解的充分必要条件以及指数计算公式。显然,这些结果推广了一般Hilbert问题的相应结论。本文目的是利用作者在中建立的理论解决带两个位移的广义Hilbert问题,并得到了相应的可解条件和指数计算公式。  相似文献

In this article, Riemann‐type boundary‐value problem of single‐periodic polyanalytic functions has been investigated. By the decomposition of single‐periodic polyanalytic functions, the problem is transformed into n equivalent and independent Riemann boundary‐value problems of single‐periodic analytic functions, which has been discussed in details according to two growth orders of functions. Finally, we obtain the explicit expression of the solution and the conditions of solvability for Riemann problem of the single‐periodic polyanalytic functions.  相似文献

In the present work, a non-local boundary value problem with special gluing conditions for a mixed parabolic-hyperbolic equation with parameter is considered. The parabolic part of this equation is a fractional analogue of heat equation and the hyperbolic part is the telegraph equation. The considered problem is reduced, for positive values of the parameter, to an equivalent system of the second kind Volterra integral equations. Due to the influence of the fractional diffusion equation, the looked for solution belongs to a specific class of functions. The method of the Green functions and the properties of integro-differential operators are on the basis of the investigation.  相似文献

In this article, some mixed boundary value problems (BVPs) on the unit circumference for some pairs of a metaanalytic function and an analytic function are discussed. Using the relationship between metaanalytic function and polyanalytic function, the expression of solution and the condition of solvability for the problem are obtained by reducing the problem to an equivalent system of a Haseman BVP for analytic function and a Hilbert BVP for analytic function. We obtain a solution to the Hilbert boundary value problem in the theory of analytic functions on the half-plane in the case that the coefficients of the boundary condition have countably many discontinuity points of the first kind. We elaborate the two substantially different situations: the series consisting of the jumps of the argument of the coefficient function and the increments of its continuous part converges and this series diverges. Accordingly, Hilbert problems with finite and infinite indices result. We derive formulas for the general solution and investigate the pictures of solvability of these problems.  相似文献

The mixed boundary value problem is considered for an anisotropic elastic body under the condition that a boundary value of the displacement vector is given on some part of the boundary and a boundary value of the generalized stress vector on the remainder. Using the potential method and the theory of singular integral equations with discontinuous coefficients, the existence of a solution of the mixed boundary value problem is proved.  相似文献

Here we present the asymptotic error analysis for the boundary element approximation of the direct boundary integral equations for the plane mixed boundary value problem of the Laplacian. The boundary elements are defined by B-splines for the smooth parts of the boundary charges and additional singular functions at the collision points. The asymptotic error estimates include estimates for the stress intensity factors which occur as additional unknowns to be computed within the Galerkin scheme. The numerical analysis is based on the uniqueness of the problem, a coerciveness inequality, the triangular principal part and an extended shift theorem of the boundary integral operators.  相似文献

The problem of the bending of an isotropic elastic plate, bounded by two rectangles with vertices lying on the same half-line, drawn from the common centre, is considered. The vertices of the inner rectangle are cut by convex smooth arcs (we will call the set of these arcs the unknown part of the boundary). It is assumed that normal bending moments act on each rectilinear section of the boundary contours in such a way that the angle of rotation of the midsurface of the plate is a piecewise-constant function. The unknown part of the boundary is free from external forces. The problem consists of determining the bending of the midsurface of the plate and the analytic form of the unknown part of the boundary when the tangential normal moment acting on it takes a constant value, while the shearing force and the normal bending moments and torques are equal to zero. The problem is solved by the methods of the theory of boundary-value problems of analytical functions.  相似文献

We will solve the following boundary value problem in linear viscoelasticity: given the value of the stress on (a part of) the boundary of the domain find the stress in the whole body at all positive times. Using a state space setting we show that the stress field inside the body can be obtained from the boundary stress by a variation-of-parameters formula involving an analytic semigroup. The relation between the regularities of the boundary stress and the stress inside the body is therefore characterized by the well-known and rich regularity theory for analytic semigroups.  相似文献
