A boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation outside an open arc in a plane is studied with mixed boundary conditions. In doing so, the Dirichlet condition is specified on one side of the open arc and the boundary condition of the third kind is specified on the other side of the open arc. We consider non-propagative Helmholtz equation, real-valued solutions of which satisfy maximum principle. By using the potential theory the boundary value problem is reduced to a system of singular integral equations with additional conditions. By regularization and subsequent transformations, this system is reduced to a vector Fredholm equation of the second kind and index zero. It is proved that the obtained vector Fredholm equation is uniquely solvable. Therefore the integral representation for a solution of the original boundary value problem is obtained. The paper deals with three-dimensional mixed boundary value problem of the anisotropic elasticity theory when the elastic body under consideration has a cut in the form of an arbitrary non-closed, two-dimensional, smooth surface with a smooth boundary: on one side of the cut surface the Dirichlet type condition (i.e., the displacement vector) is given, while on the other side the Neumann type condition (i.e., the stress vector) is prescribed. Applying the potential method and invoking the theory of ΨDEs uniqueness, existence and regularity results are proved in various function spaces. The asymptotic expansion of the solution of the corresponding system of boundary ΨDEs is written.  相似文献

For nonlinear distributed systems representable as a Volterra functional operator equation in a Lebesgue space, sufficient conditions for pointwise controllability with respect to a vector of non-linear functionals are proved. The controls are assumed to be piecewise constant vector functions. The reduction of controlled distributed systems to the functional operator equation under study is illustrated by two examples: a Dirichlet boundary value problem for the diffusion equation and a mixed problem for the transport equation.  相似文献

A boundary integral method is developed for the mixed boundary value problem for the vector Helmholtz equation in R3. The obtained boundary integral equations for the unknown Cauchy data build a strong elliptic system of pseudodifferential equations which can therefore be used for numerical computations using Galerkin's procedure. We show existence, uniqueness and regularity of the solution of the integral equations. Especially we give the local "edge" behavior of the solution near the submanifold which divides the Dirichlet boundary from the Neumann boundary  相似文献

This paper studies interconnections between holomorphic vector bundles on compact Riemann surfaces and the solution of the homogeneous conjugation boundary value problem for analytic functions on the one hand, and cohomology and the solution of the inhomogeneous problem on the other. We establish that constructing the general solution to the homogeneous problem with arbitrary coefficients in the boundary conditions is equivalent to classifying holomorphic vector bundles. Solving the inhomogeneous problem is equivalent to checking the solvability of 1-cocycles with coefficients in the sheaf of sections of a bundle; in particular, the solvability conditions in the inhomogeneous problem determine obstructions to the solvability of 1-cocycles, i.e. the first cohomology group. Using this connection, we can apply the methods of boundary value problems to vector bundles. The results enable us to elucidate the role of boundary value problems in the general theory of Riemann surfaces.  相似文献

The coefficient inverse extremal problems are studied for the stationary convectiondiffusion equation in a bounded domain under mixed boundary conditions on the boundary of the domain. The role of control is played by the velocity vector of a medium and the functions that are involved in the boundary conditions for temperature. The solvability of the extremal problems is proven both for an arbitrary weakly lower semicontinuous quality functional and for the particular quality functionals. On the basis of analysis of the optimality system some sufficient conditions are established on the initial data providing the uniqueness and stability of optimal solutions under sufficiently small perturbations of both the quality functional and one of the functions involved in the original boundary value problem.  相似文献

The present work deals with the formulation of the boundary integral equations for the solution of equations under linear theory of generalized thermoelastic diffusion in a three-dimensional Euclidean space. A mixed initial-boundary value problem is considered in the present context and the fundamental solutions of the corresponding coupled differential equations are obtained in the Laplace transform domain by employing the treatment of scalar and vector potential theory. A reciprocal relation of Betti type is established. Then we formulate the boundary integral equations for generalized thermoelastic diffusion on the basis of these fundamental solutions and the reciprocal relation.  相似文献

The problem of a stressed state in a nonhomogeneous infinite plane consisting of two different anisotropic half-planes and having slits of finite number on the interface line is investigated. It is assumed that the difference between the displacement and stress vector values is given on the interface line segments; on the edges of the slits we have the following data: boundary values of stress vector (problem of stress) or displacement vector values on one side of the slits, and stress vector values on the other side (mixed problem). We consider extremal problems for the time-harmonic Maxwell equations with mixed boundary conditions for the electric field. Namely, the tangential component of the electric field is given on one part of the boundary, and an impedance boundary condition is posed on the other part. We prove the solvability of the original mixed boundary value problem and the extremal problem. We obtain sufficient conditions on the input data ensuring the stability of solutions of specific extremal problems under certain perturbations of both the performance functional and some functions occurring in the boundary value problem.  相似文献

We consider a quasilinear parabolic boundary value problem of the third kind on an interval. The coefficients of the partial differential equation and the right-hand sides in the boundary conditions and the evolution equation for the state vector nonlinearly depend on time, the point, the state vector, and the values of the solution at the endpoints. This problem generalizes a number of models of formation and decomposition of metal hydrides. For the simplest finite-difference scheme, we prove the uniform convergence to a continuous generalized solution of the boundary value problem. A sample model is given.  相似文献

We consider a three-dimensional boundary value problem for the Laplace equation on a thin plane screen with boundary conditions for the “directional derivative”: boundary conditions for the derivative of the unknown function in the directions of vector fields defined on the screen surface are posed on each side of the screen. We study the case in which the direction of these vector fields is close to the direction of the normal to the screen surface. This problem can be reduced to a system of two boundary integral equations with singular and hypersingular integrals treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value. The resulting integral equations are characterized by the presence of integral-free terms that contain the surface gradient of one of the unknown functions. We prove the unique solvability of this system of integral equations and the existence of a solution of the considered boundary value problem and its uniqueness under certain assumptions.  相似文献

The axisymmetric mixed problem of the stress state of an elastic cone, with a spherical segment attached to the base, is considered. The side surface of the cone is rigidly clamped, while the surface of the spherical segment is under a load. By using a new integral transformation over the meridial angle the problem is reduced in transformant space to a vector boundary value problem, the solution of which is constructed using the solution of a matrix boundary value problem. The unknown function (the derivative of the displacements), which occurs in the solution, is determined from the approximate solution of a singular integral equation, for which a preliminary investigation is carried out of the nature of the singularity of the function at the ends of the integration interval. Subsequent use of inverse integral transformations leads to the final solution of the initial problem. The values of the stresses obtained are compared with those that arise in the cone for a similar load, when sliding clamping conditions are specified on the side surface of the cone (for this case an exact solution of this problem is constructed, based on the known result).  相似文献

In this article, we reconsider the mixed boundary value problem on the unit circle for a pair of metaanalytic and analytic functions as in Du and Wang (2008) [9]. By adopting appropriate transformations, we convert the problem into two independent boundary value problems for analytic functions. We then obtain expressions of solution and condition of solvability for the mixed boundary value problem. The forms of the solutions and the condition of solvability here are rather dissimilar to those in Du and Wang (2008) [9]. But the equivalence is established at the end of this article.  相似文献

The mixed plane boundary value problem for an elastic half-strip under kinematic loading of its endface and lateral sides free of force loads is examined. An asymptotic is obtained for the coefficients of the series expansion of the displacement vector in homogeneous solutions. We consider a mixed problem in a half-strip for a hyperbolic system with one space variable and with constant coefficients. The control problem is to find boundary conditions ensuring that the system has a given state vector at a given instant of time. We study whether the problem is asymptotically solvable, i.e., whether there exists a sequence of boundary conditions such that the corresponding sequence of final state vectors uniformly converges to the given vector. We reduce the construction of a family of such sequences of boundary conditions with a function parameter to the solution of a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind and prove a sufficient condition for its unique solvability in terms of the problem data.  相似文献

The problem of optimal boundary control by displacement at one end of a string under a specified force mode at the other end is studied in the sense of a generalized solution of the corresponding mixed initial-boundary value problem from a Sobolev space. The problem of choosing an optimal boundary control from an infinite number of admissible controls is solved. Direct and inverse boundary value problems for models of stationary reaction–convection–diffusion are investigated. The direct problem consists in finding a solution of the corresponding boundary value problem for given data on the boundary of the domain of the independent variable. The peculiarity of the direct problem consists in the inhomogeneity and irregularity of mixed boundary data. Solvability and stability conditions are specified for the direct problem. The inverse boundary value problem consists in finding some traces of the solution of the corresponding boundary value problem for given standard and additional data on a certain part of the boundary of the domain of the independent variable. The peculiarity of the inverse problem consists in its ill-posedness. Regularizing methods and solution algorithms are developed for the inverse problem.  相似文献
