A new benzimidazoyl ligand bis[(N-ethylbenzimidazol-2-yl)methyl]ether (EDGB) and CuII complexes [Cu(L1) (L2)](ClO4)·mEt2O·nH2O [L1 = bis[(benzimidazol-2-yl)methyl]ether (DGB) or EDGB, L2 = 2,2-bipyridine (bipy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (phen)] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses and i.r. spectra. The single-crystal structure of the [Cu(phen)(DGB)(OClO3)]ClO4·Et2O·0.5H2O complex was determined by X-ray diffraction. The geometry around Cu is best described as a distorted octahedron with four nitrogen atoms from phen and DGB ligands forming the equatorial plane. The oxygen atoms of DGB and one perchlorate group are in the axial positions with semi-coordinated bonding modes. The electrochemical behavior of the complexes is described.  相似文献

Novel neutral biimidazolate or bibenzimidazolate palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes of the type M(NN)2(dpe) [M = Pd, Pt; (NN)22? = BiIm2?, BiBzIm2?. dpe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino) ethane] have been obtained by reacting MCl2(dpe) with TI2(NN)2. Complexes M(NN)2(dpe) which are Lewis bases react with HClO4 or [M(dpe)(Me2CO)2](ClO4)2 to yield, respectively, mononuclear cationic complexes of general formula [M{H2(NN)2](dpe) (M = Pd, Pt; H2(NN)2 = H2BiIm, H2BiBzIm) and homobinuclear palladium(II) or platinum(II) cationic complexes of the type [M2{μ - (NN)2}(dpe)2](ClO4)2. Reactions of M(BiBzIm)(dpe) with [Rh(COD) (Me2CO)X](ClO4) render similar heterobinuclear palladium(II)-rhodium(I) and platinum(II)-rhodium(I) cationic complexes, of general formula [(dpe)M(μ-BiBzIm)Rh(COD)](ClO4) (M = Pd, Pt; COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene). Di- and mono-carbonyl derivatives [(dpe)M(μ-BiBzIm)Rh(CO)L](ClO4) (M = Pd, Pt; L = CO, PPh3) have also been prepared. The structures of the resulting complexes have been elucidated by conductance studies and IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Summary N-Cyano-N-methyl-N(2-[(5-methyl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-methylthio] ethyl) guanidine cimetidine (CM), complexes with CoII, NiII and CuII are described. The compounds are of stoichiometry [M(CM)2]SO4 · nH2O [M = CoII, NiII or CuII; n = 3,3 or 4, respectively], [M(CM)2](ClO4)2 [M = CoII or NiII], [M(CM)2]Cl2 · nH2O [M=CoII, NiII or CuII; n = 1, 2, or 2, respectively] and [Cu(CM)SO4] · 2H2O. The electronic spectra of the compounds in solid state, magnetic susceptibilities and i.r. and e.p.r. spectra were studied. Octahedral environments are proposed for the complexes: [M(CM)2]SO4·nH2O, [M(CM)2](ClO4)2, [Ni(CM)2]Cl2 · 2H2O, [Cu(CM)2]Cl2 · 2H2O and [Cu(CM)SO4] · 2H2O and a tetrahedral structure for [Co(CM)2]Cl2 · H2O.  相似文献

Bis[(2-pyridylmethyl)ammonio]silver(I) trinitrate, [Ag(C6H9N2)2](NO3)3, (I), and bis{bis[(4-pyridylmethyl)ammonio]silver(I)} hexakis(perchlorate) dihydrate, [Ag(C6H9N2)2]2(ClO4)6·2H2O, (II), are rare examples of complexes with cationic ligands. In (I), the Ag+ cation has a T-shaped [2+1] coordination involving the pyridine N atoms and a nitrate O atom, while in (II) there are three independent two-coordinate Ag complex cations (two with the Ag atoms on independent inversion centres) and disordered ClO4 ions. The crystal structures reveal the role of hydrogen bonding in stabilizing these complexes.  相似文献

Preparation of the ligands HL1 = 2,6-[(N-phenylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]-p-ethylphenol; HL2 = 2,6-[(N-phenylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]-p-methoxyphenol and HL3 = 2,6-[(N-phenylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]-p-nitrophenol are described together with their Cu(II) complexes with different bridging units. The exogenous bridges incorporated into the complexes are: hydroxo [Cu2L(OH)(H2O)2](ClO4)2.H2O (L1=1a, L2 =1b, L3 =1c), acetato [Cu2L(OAc)2]ClO4.H2O (L1 =2a, L2 =2b, L3 =2c) and nitrito [Cu2L1(NO2)2(H2O)2]ClO4.H2O (L1=3a, L2 =3b, L3 =3c). Complexes1a,1b,1c and2a,2b,2c contain bridging exogenous groups, while3a,3b,3c possess only open μ-phenolate structures. Both the ligands and complexes were characterized by spectral studies. Cyclic voltammetric investigation of these complexes revealed that the reaction process involves two successive quasireversible one-electron steps at different potentials. The first reduction potential is sensitive to electronic effects of the substituents at the aromatic ring of the ligand system, shifting to positive potentials when the substituents are replaced by more electrophilic groups. EPR studies indicate very weak interaction between the two copper atoms. Various covalency parameters have been calculated.  相似文献

Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry studies of 2,2′-bipyridyl, 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridyl and 2,2′, 2″-terpyridyl complexes of Fe(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) in acetonitrile are described. E1/2 values for M(III)/M(II) and M(II)/M)I) couples are compared and crystal field effects discussed. A series of M(I) and M(III) polypyridyl complexes have been prepared by controlled potential electrolysis; these include a number of 3+ and 1+ oxidation state complexes of nickel which have not previously been isolated — [Ni(bipy)3]-(ClO4)3, [Ni(dimbipy)3](ClO4)3, [Ni(terpy)2](ClO4)3 and [Ni(bipy)2]ClO4.  相似文献

Varying coordination modes of the Schiff base ligand H2L [5-methyl-1-H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid (1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidene)-hydrazide] towards different metal centers are reported with the syntheses and characterization of four mononuclear Mn(II), Co(II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) complexes, [Mn(H2L)(H2O)2](ClO4)2(MeOH) (1), [Co(H2L)(NCS)2] (2), [Cd(H2L)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [Zn(H2L)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (4), and a binuclear Cu(II) complex, [Cu2(L)2](ClO4)2 (5). In the complexes 1-4 the neutral ligand serves as a 3N,2O donor where the pyridine ring N, two azomethine N and two carbohydrazine oxygen atoms are coordinatively active, leaving the pyrazole-N atoms inactive. In the case of complex 5, each ligand molecule behaves as a 4N,O donor utilizing the pyridine N, one azomethine N, the nitrogen atom proximal to the azomethine of the remaining pendant arm and one pyrazole-N atom to one metal center and the carbohydrazide oxygen atom to the second metal center. The complexes 1-4 are pentagonal bipyramidal in geometry. In each case, the ligand molecule spans the equatorial plane while the apical positions are occupied by water molecules in 1, 3 and 4 and two N bonded thiocyanate ions in 2. In complex 5, the two Cu(II) centers have almost square pyramidal geometry (τ = 0.05 for Cu1 and 0.013 for Cu2). Four N atoms from a ligand molecule form the basal plane and the carbohydrazide oxygen atom of a second ligand molecule sits in the apex of the square pyramid. All the complexes have been X-ray crystallographically characterized. The Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes show considerable fluorescence emission while the remaining complexes and the ligand molecule are fluorescent silent.  相似文献

Reaction of the N-(2-pyridyl)carbonylaniline ligand (L) with Cu(NO3)2, Cu(ClO4)2, Zn(ClO4)2, Ni(NO3)2 and PdCl2 gives complexes with stoichiometry [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](NO3)2, [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, [Zn(L)2(H2O)2] (ClO4)2, [Ni(L)2(H2O)Cl](NO3) and PdLCl2. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and infrared spectra. The crystal structures of [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](NO3)2, [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, and [Zn(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 were determined by X-ray crystallography. The cation complexes [M(L)2(H2O)2] contain copper(II) and zinc(II) with distorted octahedral geometry with two N-(2-pyridyl)carbonylaniline (L) ligands occupying the equatorial sites. The hexa-coordinated metal atoms are bonded to two pyridinic nitrogens, two carbonyl oxygens and two water molecules occupying the axial sites. Both the coordinated water molecules and uncoordinated amide NH groups of the N-(2-pyridyl)carbonylaniline (L) ligands are involved in hydrogen bonding, resulting in infinite hydrogen-bonded chains running in one and two-dimensions.  相似文献

The reaction of Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O and Cd(ClO4)2 with di-(2-picolyl)sulfur (dps) leads to the formation of mononuclear complexes [Cu(dps)(H2O)(ClO4)](ClO4) (1) and [Cd(dps)2](ClO4)2 (2). The crystal structure of 1 exhibits a distorted square pyramidal geometry, coordinated by one sulfur and two nitrogen atoms from the dps ligand, one water molecule and one perchlorate oxygen atom. For 2, the environment around cadmium atom is in a distorted octahedron with four nitrogen and two sulfur atoms from the dps ligand. Cyclic voltammetric data show that complexes undergo two waves of a one-electron transfer corresponding to M(II)/M(III) and M(II)/M(I) processes. Spectral and electrochemical behaviors of the complexes are also discussed.  相似文献

New complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) nitrates, chlorides, and perchlorates with 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) were obtained and examined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, X-ray powder diffraction, and electronic absorption and IR spectroscopy. The cations of all the complexes have linear trinuclear structures. Ligand L is coordinated to the metal ions in a bidentate bridging fashion through the N(1) and N(2) atoms of the heterocycle. The coordination polyhedron of the metal atoms is a distorted octahedron. The molecular and crystal structures of the complexes [Co3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 3C2H5OH · 3.75H2O and [M3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 6H2O (M = Cu2+ and Ni2+) were determined.  相似文献

Several Cu(II) complexes with 1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (tp) and its 5,7-dimethyl derivative (dmtp) have been isolated and structurally characterized. Five of them are mononuclear and contain 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) or ethylenediamine (en) as auxiliary ligands, their formula being [Cu(H2O)(phen)(tp)2](ClO4)2 · H2O, [Cu(H2O)(phen)(dmtp)2](ClO4)2, [Cu(NO3)(H2O)(phen)(tp)](NO3), [Cu(H2O)2(en)(tp)2](ClO4)2 and [Cu(H2O)2(en)(dmtp)2](ClO4)2. In all these compounds the tp or dmtp ligand is monodentately coordinated via the nitrogen atom in position 3. The auxiliary ligand influences the coordination number, which is five when this ligand is phen and six when it is en whereas the number of triazolopyrimidine ligands linked to the metal seems to be influenced by the nature of the counteranion. A dinuclear compound with tp has also been isolated, its formula being [Cu2(OH)(H2O)2.5(tp)5](ClO4)3·(H2O)1.5, with both metal atoms linked by an hydroxydo group and by a tp bridging ligand, coordinated to one of the copper atoms via N3 and to the other via N4. This compound has several unusual features among the metal complexes with triazolopyrimidine derivatives: the presence of two different kinds of bridging moieties, the coexistence of bridging and terminal ligands and the formation of a N3–N4 bridge for a Cu(II) dinuclear compound for a derivative without exocyclic oxygen atoms.  相似文献

Bis[bis{(diphenylphosphinyl)methyl}ethyl phoshinate]bis(ethanol) metal(II) perchlorate complexes, where METAL = Co, Ni or Cu, have been prepared by the reaction of metal perchlorates and bis[(diphenylphosphinyl)methyl]ethyl phosphinate, (RPOEt), in absolute ethanol. The crystal structure of the copper complex is triclinic, space group P , a = 13.688(7) Å, b = 14.424(10) Å, c = 9.865(2) Å, = 110.43(4)°, β = 90.13(2)°, γ = 115.54(4)°, V = 1619.8 Å3, Z = 1 and refined to R = 0.048 (Rw = 0.057). The structure consists of complex cations surrounded by perchlorate anions. Two RPOEt ligands and two ethanols are coordinated to the copper atom situated at the centre of symmetry 0, 0, 0. The RPOEt ligand is bidentate [Cu---O distances 1.969(4) Å, 2.312(4) Å], but the third oxygen atom from phosphoryl bonds is hydrogen bonded [2.669(6) Å], to the oxygen atom of ethanol molecule coordinated to the copper at 1.988(4) Å. The conformations of the ligand and chelate rings, magnetic data, molar conductance values, infrared and electronic spectra are given.  相似文献

Abstract

Three copper(II), one zinc(II), and one ferrous(II) complexes having 3-bromo or 3,8-dibromo-1,10-phenanthroline ligand with different metal/ligand molar ratios, formulated as [Cu(3-bromo-phen)(ClO4)(C3H7NO)2(H2O)](ClO4) (1), [Cu(3,8-dibromo-phen)(ClO4)(C3H7NO)2(H2O)](ClO4) (2), [Cu(3,8-dibromo-phen)(ClO4)(H2O)3](ClO4)(H2O)3 (3), [Zn(3,8-dibromo-phen)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2(H2O)2 (4), and [Fe(3,8-dibromo-phen)3](ClO4)2(H2O)(CH4O)(C3H6O)2 (5) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized and characterized in this paper. X-ray single-crystal diffraction studies reveal the different crystallographic symmetry and packing fashions between neighboring phen rings in 1:1 Cu(II) complexes 13 due to the alteration of bromo substituent 1,10-phenanthroline ligands and coordinated or free solvent molecules. Additionally, in 1:2 Zn(II) and 1:3 Fe(II) complexes 4 and 5, continuous π–π stacking and alternating π–π and dimeric p–π stacking are found.  相似文献

Two pyrazole-based polydentate ligands, 1,3-bis(5-methyl-3-phenylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hmppzpo) and 1,3-bis(5-methyl-3-p-isopropylphenylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hmcpzpo), have been synthesized. A third ligand, 1,3-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hdmpzpo), has been synthetically modified. Seven new M(II) coordination compounds of general formula M2L2X2 (M?=?Zn, Ni; X?=?NO3 or ClO4; L?=?dmpzpo, mppzpo or mcpzpo) or MLX (M?=?Pd; L?=?dmpzpo; X?=?Cl) were synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis and FT-IR analysis. The crystal structures of [Zn2(μ-dmpzpo-O,N,N′)2(NO3)2]?·?2H2O (1?·?2H2O), [Ni2(μ-dmpzpo-O,N,N′)2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (2) and Pd(μ-dmpzpo-N,N′)Cl2 (4) were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures show that complexes 1?·?2H2O and 2 are center-symmetric dinuclear compounds, with two metal ions bridged by two alkoxo groups and each metal ion with a distorted square-pyramidal environment. The palladium complex, 4, displayed square-planar coordination geometry around the Pd(II) ion with trans arrangement.  相似文献

The synthesis and thermal analysis studies of several hydroxobridged homo and hetero trinuclear cobalt(III) complexes are reported. The complexes are of the type [M(H2O)x{(OH)2Co(en)2}2](SO4)2 nH2O and [M(H2O)x{(OH)2Co(NH3)4}2](SO4)2nH2O where en denotes ethylenediamine and M =Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) with x=0 for Cu(II), and 2 for other metal ions, and n =3, 4 or 5. The TG and DTA studies of these compounds show that one or more intermediate compounds are formed in each case before the metal oxides are produced.  相似文献

The coordination capability of the new tetrapyridyl pendant-armed azamacrocyclic ligand L, towards Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Cd(II) ions was studied. The ligand and the complexes were characterized by microanalysis, LSI mass spectrometry, IR, UV-Vis and NMR spectroscopy, magnetic studies and conductivity measurements. Crystal structures of [Co2L(CH3CN)2](ClO4)4·2CH3CN and [Cd2L(NO3)2](NO3)2·2H2O complexes have been determined. The X-ray studies show the presence of dinuclear endomacrocyclic complexes with the metal ion in a similar distorted octahedral environment, coordinated by one pyridyl bridgehead group, two amine nitrogen atoms and two pyridyl pendant-arms. The sixth coordination position around the metal ion is completed by one acetonitrile molecule in [Co2L(CH3CN)2](ClO4)4·2CH3CN and by one monodentate nitrate anion in [Cd2L(NO3)2](NO3)2·2H2O. Different sort of intramolecular non-classical hydrogen bonds were found in the crystal lattice of both structures.  相似文献

Condensation of bis(ethanediamine) copper(II) perchlorate with formaldhyde and diethyl malonate in basic methanol generates the amino acid ester complex (diethyl bis[(2-aminoethyl)aminomethyl] malonatecopper(II) perchlorate), [Cu(L1)](ClO4)2. Base-catalyzed ester hydrolysis in water of [Cu(L1)]2+ yields bis[(2-aminoethyl)aminomethyl] malonatocopper(II) tetrahydrate, CuL2 · 4 H2O. The two copper(II) complexes were characterized by element analysis, molar conductance, infrared, and electronic spectra studies. The structure of CuL2 · 4 H2O was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The crystal structure reveals that the copper ion is an octahedra with four nitrogens at the equational position and two oxygens at the axial positions.  相似文献
