Three new binuclear w -oxalato copper(II) complexes of composition [(Cu(N,N' -dieten) H2O)2ox](ClO4)2 ·H2O (1) (N,N'-dieten = N,N'-diethylethylenediamine, H2ox = oxalic acid), [(Cu(trimeen)H2O)2ox](ClO4)2·2H2O (2) (trimeen = N,N,N'-trimethylethylenediamine) and [(Cu(trimeen)H2O)2ox](NO3)2 ·2H2O (3) have been isolated from the reactions of Cu(ClO4)2 ·6H2O (or Cu(NO3)2 ·3H2O), the appropriate amine and Na2ox in water and have been characterized by IR and electronic spectroscopy and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure of [(Cu(N,N' -dieten)H2O)2 ox](ClO4)2.H2O (1) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The structure of ( 1 ) consists of binuclear cations [(N,N'-dieten)H2O)Cu(ox)Cu(N,N'-dieten)H2O)]2+, perchlorate anions and water molecules of crystallization. The copper atom is coordinated by two oxygen atoms of the oxalato ligand, two nitrogen atoms belonging to N,N'-dieten and one oxygen atom of water in a distorted square-pyramidal arrangement. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibilities (78-293 K) was measured for 1-3 . Magnetochemical measurements show that copper(II) ions in these compounds are antiferromagnetically coupled with J = -172 cm-1, -172 cm-1 and -168 cm-1 (H = -2JS 1 S 2, S 1= S 2 = 1/2) for 1, 2 and 3, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of salpnH2 Schiff-base ligand (salpnH2 = N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-1,3-propylenediamine) with Cu(NO3)2·3H2O and a large excess of NaN3 (1:2:8 molar ration), lead to the formation of [Cu4(μ-salpn)2(μ1,1-N3)2(N3)2(H2O)2] (1), which has been successfully obtained and characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The strong absorption band at about 2000–2100 cm?1 and at 1597 cm?1 regions of the IR spectrum of 1 clearly proves the presence of the both end-on (EO) bridging and terminal azido ions and CN (azomethine) groups, respectively. Single-crystal X-ray analyses revealed that the copper atoms are bridged alternately by end-to-on (EO) azido and phenoxo-salpn ligands in the prepared tetranuclear copper(II) complex [Cu4(μ-salpn)2(μ1,1-N3)2(N3)2(H2O)2] (1).  相似文献

Reaction of Fe3(CO)12 and Ph2PH in the presence of Et3N in THF at 0?°C immediately forms Fe2(CO)6(μ-PPh2)(μ-OH) (1), Fe2(CO)6(μ-PPh2)(μ-k2O,P-OPPh2) (2), and Fe2(CO)6(μ-PPh2)2 (3) in yields of 25, 14, and 19%, respectively. Experiments confirm that Et3N shortens the reaction time. The absence of O2 hinders the formation of 2. The presence of H2O can increase the yield of 1. Their structures have been determined by X-ray crystallography and the complexes have been completely characterized by EA, IR, and 1H, 13C, 31P NMR. Electrochemical studies reveal that they exhibit catalytic H2-producing activities.  相似文献

Abstract

The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of carbon disulfide to the coordinated azide in the cyclometal-lated compound [Pd(dmba)(N3)]2 (1), dmba = N,N-dimethylbenzylamine, was investigated. The compound obtained di(μ, N, S-l,2,3,4-thiatriazole-5-thiolate)-bis[(N,N-dimethylbenzylamine-C2, N)palladium(II)] (2), was characterized by IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. Complex (2) is dimeric with the two [Pd(N,N-dimethylbenzylamine)] moieties being connected by the two vicinal bridging N, S-l,2,3,4-thiatriazole-5-thiolate anions in a square-planar coordination for the palladium atoms.  相似文献

The title complex, [V(C7H7N)(C13H23N2Si2)2Cl], consists of a V metal centre coordinated to five N atoms and a Cl ion in a pseudo-octahedral arrangement. The N atoms of the benzamidinate ligands form two four-membered chelate rings to V, with bite angles of 63.59 (8) and 64.36 (8)°, whilst the fifth N atom is from a p-tolyl­imido ligand [V—N—C 172.2 (2)°] located cis with respect to the Cl ion [Cl—V—Nimido 96.96 (8)°].  相似文献

We synthesized three copper(II) complexes with two structurally related polydentate ligands, quinoline-4-carboxylic acid (quCOOH) and quinoxaline (qux). The structures of these complexes were determined using X-ray single crystal crystallography. Complex 1, [Cu(quCOO)(N3)(H2O)] n , has a 2-D polymeric structure through di-μ1,1 azido groups forming (Cu2N2) dimeric units and di-μN,O quinoline carboxylate bridging the binuclear copper units. [Cu(quCOO)(N3)(H2O)] n · 0.87MeOH, (2), has the same structure as 1 in addition to MeOH molecules separating the 2-D sheets of [Cu(quCOO)(N3)(H2O)] n . [Cu(qux)(NO3)2] n , (3), has no coordinated azido groups, but the quinoxaline is a bidentate bridging ligand giving a 1-D chain, while the μO,O′ chelating nitrato groups stabilize the chain structure by forming a square planar coordination sphere around copper. IR and UV–Vis spectra of the complexes are in agreement with the crystal structures.  相似文献

The trinuclear osmium carbonyl cluster, [Os3(CO)10(MeCN)2], is allowed to react with 1 equiv. of [IrCp1Cl2]2 (Cp1 = pentamethylcyclopentadiene) in refluxing dichloromethane to give two new osmium–iridium mixed-metal clusters, [Os3Ir2(Cp1)2(μ-OH)(μ-CO)2(CO)8Cl] (1) and [Os3IrCp1(μ-OH)(CO)10Cl] (2), in moderate yields. In the presence of a pyridyl ligand, [C5H3N(NH2)Br], however, the products isolated are different. Two osmium–iridium clusters with different coordination modes of the pyridyl ligand are afforded, [Os3IrCp1(μ-H)(μ-Cl)(η33-C5H2N(NH2)Br)(CO)9] (3) and [Os3IrCp1(μ-Cl)223-C5H3N(NH)Br)(CO)7] (4). All of the new compounds are characterized by conventional spectroscopic methods, and their structures are determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Abstract  Monoclinic crystals of [Cu2(μ-I)2(PPh3)2(μ-N, S-pymSH)] · CH3CN) (1), were obtained by equimolar reaction of copper(I) iodide with pyrimidine-2-thione (pymSH), followed by the addition of triphenylphosphine (PPh3) in acetonitrile. Crystal data for 1: space group P21, Z = 2, a = 9.896, b = 18.378, c = 11.703 ?, β = 101.73°. It has an iodo-bridged Cu(μ-I)2Cu core and the pyrimdine-2-thione binds to both Cu centers via N, S-bridging across the Cu(μ-I)2Cu core. This N, S-bridging, a rare coordination mode for pyrimidine-2-thione, leads to a short Cu···Cu separation of 2.675(2) ? (sum of van der Waals radius of Cu atoms, 2.80 ?). The geometry around each Cu center is distorted tetrahedral with angles varying in the range, ca. 102–119°. Copper(I) chloride and bromide also yielded monoclinic crystals of S-bonded tetrahedral monomers, [CuBr(pymSH)(PPh3)2] 2 and [CuCl(pymSH)(PPh3)2] 3. Crystal data for 2: space group P21/n, Z = 8, a = 12.825, b = 43.122, c = 13.396 ?, β = 90.79°. Crystal data for 3: space group P21/c, Z = 4, a = 14.340, b = 10.111, c = 24.200 ?, β = 94.36°. Compound 2 has two crystallographically independent molecules in crystal lattice. The 31P NMR spectrum of 1 showed two signals for PPh3 ligands bonded to two Cu centers with different coordination cores: CuI2PN and CuI2PS. Both 2 and 3 showed one signal each for PPh3 in their 31P NMR spectra. Reacting VO(acac)2 with six equivalents of dibenzylphosphinic acid in the presence of 4,4′-bipyridine or μ2-N1,N2-di(pyridin-4-yl)oxalamide leads to trimeric (V3(μ3-O)O2)(μ2-O2P(CH2C6H5)2)6(4,4′-bipyridine) or the hexamer [(V3(μ3-O)O2)(μ2-O2P(CH2C6H5)2)6]2(μ2-N1,N2-di(pyridin-4-yl)oxalamide). The complexes were characterized by spectroscopic (FTIR and 1H NMR spectroscopies), TGA, and by single crystal X-ray diffraction measurements. The structures consist of a planar central core where three vanadium ions are arranged in the form of a quasi-isosceles triangle and contain an interstitial O which is multiply bonded to one V and weakly interacting at different bond distances to the remaining two V ions.  相似文献

The [n-Bu4N]2[Fe2(-S2O3)2(NO)4] complex was studied using X-ray diffraction analysis, cyclic voltammetry, and EPR spectroscopy, and its crystal structure was determined. The redox properties of the [Fe2(-S2O3)2(NO)4]2–anion in CH3CN and CH2Cl2solutions were studied. An addition of excess reducer (sodium thiosulfate) to the thiosulfate complex was shown to produce an EPR signal with g= 2.03 typical of the mononuclear iron dinitrosyl complexes. The mechanism for [Fe2(-S2O3)2(NO)4]2–reduction was suggested.  相似文献

The addition of pinacol to mixtures of titanium and cerium isopropoxides as well as the use of insoluble titanium and cerium pinacolate synthons was investigated as a route to M-Ce (M=Ti, Nb) species. Pinacol was able to promote the formation of mixed-metal species and the first Ce-Ti and Ce-Nb species namely Ce2Ti(pin)2(OPri)8 and [M2Ce23-O)2(μ,η2pin)4(OPri)6Hx] [M=Ti, x=2; M=Nb, x=0; pin=OCMe2-COMe2] were isolated and characterized by FT-IR and 1H NMR. The latter were also characterized by X-Ray diffraction. Their structures are based on a rhombus compressed along the M⋯M direction with 6-coordinated metals. The pinacolate moieties act as bridging-chelating ligands. The metal–oxygen bond lengths vary according to M–O(pin)<M-μ3–O<Mμ–O(pin)<Ce–OPri<Ce–μ3O.  相似文献

Dichloro(N,N-diethyl-ethane-1,2-diamine)copper(II) has copper(II) ions in square pyramidal coordination. The two nitrogen atoms of the diamine {Cu–Nprimary?=?1.979(3), Cu–Ntertiary?=?2.108(2)?Å} and two chloride ions are in the basal plane {Cu–Cl1?=?2.2680(9), Cu–Cl2?=?2.2989(8)?Å}. A centrosymmetrical dimer di-μ-chloro-bis{chloro(N,N-diethylethane-1,2-diamine-κ2)copper(II)}, C6H16Cl2CuN2, is formed by axial coordination by Cl2, trans to the tertiary nitrogen, to a second copper(II) ion, with Cu?···?Cui?=?3.4855(9) and Cl2–Cui?=?2.7860(8)?Å. (n-Bu4N)4[Mo8O26] reacts with the Na salt of 2-mercaptopyridine N-oxide (NaPT) in MeCN to give the complex (n-Bu4N)2[MoO2(PT)2·Mo4O8(-O)2(3-O)2(PT)2] (1) which contains two metal centres: one being mononuclear molybdenum chelating to two PT ligands, and the other a tetranuclear oxomolybdenum cluster with two PT ligands at the terminal point. The i.r. spectrum of the title complex exhibits absorption bands at 911.5 and 881.9 cm–1, characteristic of the [cis-MoO2]2+ fragment.  相似文献

Semi-empirical and ab initio calculations are reported which provide a possible explanation for reported experimental results on 2-photon ionization of NO containing a few percent of N2O, which found (NO)3(N2O) n +or? clusters to be significantly more abundant than other (NO) m (N2O) n products. It is found that the observed abundances of (NO)3(N2O) n ionic clusters may be accounted for by the existence of covalent cyclic trimers of nitric oxide attached to oligomers of nitrous oxide. The extra stability of NO trimers in the observed clusters appears to arise from (NO) 3 + rather than (NO)3. Attachment of an (N2O) n side chain to (NO) 3 + occurs exothermically. It is suggested that the addition of N2O to cyclic-(NO) 3 + might provide a means of making a polymer of nitrous oxide, which could have useful properties.  相似文献

The synthesis and molecular structures of tris(pentamethylphenyl)aluminum, (C6Me5)3Al, (I), and the magnesium cluster [Mg6( 3-OH)2( 3-Br)2( 2-Br)8(OEt2)8] (II), are reported. Both compounds were isolated from the same system. The aluminum atom in (I) resides in an almost idealized trigonal planar environment. The dihedral angles of the pentamethylphenyl rings relative to the AlC3plane in (I) are 67.2, 62.4, and 61.2°. The neutral magnesium cluster, (II), is interesting in that contains six magnesium atoms each of which resides in octahedral environments.  相似文献

Summary The reactions of N,N,N,N-tetramethylthiuram disulfide (tmtds) with gold(III) complexes of the [Au(L)X3] type [L = N-methylimidazole (N-Melm), 2-methylbenzoxazole (2-MeBO) and 2,5-dimethylbenzoxazole (2,5-diMeBO), X = Cl, Br or I] are reported, and yielded two main types of product - [Au(Me2dtc)X2] (A) and [Au(Me2dtc)2]X (B) (Me2dtc = N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamato anion). The ratio of the product yields (B/A) depends upon the nature of the ligand (L) and halogen (X). The ratio B/A for the reaction: [Au(L)Cl3] + tmtds = A + B, increases in the sequence N-MeIm < 2- MeBO < 2,5-diMeBO, which correlates well with the level of cytotoxic activity exhibited by the [Au(L)Cl3] complexes. A and B were characterized by their i.r., u.v-vis. and 1-n.m.r. spectra. The magnetic measurements were also recorded. The data support a squareplanar geometry for gold(III) complexes with the Me2dtc ligand bonded in a bidentate fashion; a conjecture has been verified crystallographically for [Au(Me2NCS2)2]-Br·2H2O. The X-ray analysis confirmed that the complex is composed of ionic units: [Au(Me2dtc)2] + and Br and H2O molecules. The Au—S distances are markedly similar, falling in the 2.343(4)–2.350(3) A range.  相似文献

The crystal structures of N,N′-(1,2-phenyl­ene)­bis­(pyridine-2-carbox­amide), C18H14N4O2, (I), and N,N′-(1,2-cyclo­hexane­diyl)­bis­(pyridine-2-carbox­amide) have been determined, the latter compound as the toluene hemisolvate, C18H20N4O2·0.5C7H8, (II). In (I), the benzene ring is nearly coplanar with one of the pyridine rings and forms a dihedral angle of 59.4 (1)° with the other. However, in (II), the dihedral angle of the two pyridine rings is 70.0 (1)°.  相似文献
