Backward Doubly Stochastic Differential Equations with Jumps and Stochastic Partial Differential-Integral Equations

Backward doubly stochastic differential equations driven by Brownian motions and Poisson process(BDSDEP) with non-Lipschitz coeffcients on random time interval are studied.The probabilistic interpretation for the solutions to a class of quasilinear stochastic partial differential-integral equations(SPDIEs) is treated with BDSDEP.Under non-Lipschitz conditions,the existence and uniqueness results for measurable solutions to BDSDEP are established via the smoothing technique.Then,the continuous dependence for solutions to BDSDEP is derived.Finally,the probabilistic interpretation for the solutions to a class of quasilinear SPDIEs is given.     

Soliton solutions for quasilinear Schrödinger equations, II

For a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations, we establish the existence of ground states of soliton-type solutions by a variational method.     

Multiple positive solutions of some quasilinear neumann problems

Using the fibering method we prove the existence of at least two positive solutions for a class of non-monotone quasilinear elliptic equations with nonlinear Neuman boundary conditions

Globally Lipschitz continuous solutions to a class of quasilinear wave equations

This work investigates the existence of globally Lipschitz continuous solutions to a class of Cauchy problem of quasilinear wave equations. Applying Lax's method and generalized Glimm's method, we construct the approximate solutions of the corresponding perturbed Riemann problem and establish the global existence for the derivatives of solutions. Then, the existence of global Lipschitz continuous solutions can be carried out by showing the weak convergence of residuals for the source term of equation.     

Nonlinear Muckenhoupt–Wheeden type bounds on Reifenberg flat domains,with applications to quasilinear Riccati type equations

A weighted norm inequality of Muckenhoupt–Wheeden type is obtained for gradients of solutions to a class of quasilinear equations with measure data on Reifenberg flat domains. This essentially leads to a resolution of an existence problem for quasilinear Riccati type equations with a gradient source term of arbitrary power law growth.

Solutions for Quasilinear Schrödinger Equations via the Nehari Method

Abstract

For a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations we establish the existence of both one-sign and nodal ground states of soliton type solutions by the Nehari method.     

Deterministic homogenization of weakly damped nonlinear hyperbolic-parabolic equations

Deterministic homogenization is studied for nonlinear hyperbolic-parabolic equations with a linear damping term. It is shown by the sigma-convergence method that the sequence of solutions to a class of highly oscillatory nonlinear evolution problems converges to the solution to a homogenized quasilinear hyperbolic-parabolic problem.

Structure of least-energy solutions for quasilinear elliptic equations on convex domains

In this paper we study the existence and structure of the least-energy solutions for a class of singularly perturbed quasilinear elliptic equations. Using the moving plane method and a geometric lemma we show that any least-energy solution develops to a single spike-layer solution on convex domains.     

Infinitely many solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations involving sign-changing weight functions

Using a change of variables and the constrained critical point theory, we first prove the existence and multiplicity of solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations. Next, we consider a quasilinear equation related to the superfluid film in plasma physics with a sign-changing weight function. Using a new natural constraint, we establish the existence of infinitely many solutions for the equation.     

Nonexistence of positive solutions to a quasilinear elliptic system and blow-up estimates for a non-Newtonian filtration system

The prior estimate and decay property of positive solutions are derived for a system of quasilinear elliptic differential equations first. Then the result of nonexistence for a differential equation system of radially nonincreasing positive solutions is implied. By using this nonexistence result, blow-up estimates for a class of quasilinear reaction-diffusion systems (non-Newtonian filtration systems) are established to extend the result of semilinear reaction-diffusion (Fujita type) systems.

On differential inequalities with point singularities on the boundary

We prove the nonexistence of solutions for some nonlinear ordinary differential equations and inequalities, for quasilinear partial differential equations and inequalities in bounded domains with singular points on the boundary, and for systems of such equations and inequalities. The proofs are based on the method of nonlinear capacity. We also give examples demonstrating that the conditions obtained are sharp in the class of problems under consideration.     

Multibump solutions for quasilinear elliptic equations

The current paper is concerned with constructing multibump type solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrödinger type equations including the Modified Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations. Our results extend the existence results on multibump type solutions in Coti Zelati and Rabinowitz (1992) [17] to the quasilinear case. Our work provides a theoretic framework for dealing with quasilinear problems, which lack both smoothness and compactness, by using more refined variational techniques such as gluing techniques, Morse theory, Lyapunov–Schmidt reduction, etc.     

Estimates of rate of propagation of perturbations in quasilinear divergent degenerate parabolic equations of high order

A method is given for obtaining integral growth lemmas for solutions of boundary problems for a large class of quasilinear evolution equations.
